Good coffee shop. I had a smores mocha and my friend had a pistachio vanilla latte. Prices were on par with other coffee shops. They had a wide variety of flavored coffee beans for sale for home brewing, too.

Love coming here before work for a junior bolt or a cold brew. Great vibe and great people.

Really like this unique coffee shop in downtown Kent, Ohio. It reminds me of the former Captn Bradys near KSU that I visited often as a student in the early 80s.

This spot looked perfect, but unfortunately we didn’t get to go in. Google told us they were open on Tuesday, but when we arrived they were closed.

Had coffee here a couple times during our visit to Kent. They have a fair selection of choices and everything we had was very good. Super nice service and locally owned too. Way, way better than the long wait and poor service at the big name place. Glad someone suggested Scribbles to us!

Idk why there are 5 star reviews. The environment is cluttered and kinda depressing. The apple fritter and muffin was stale and lackluster. My wifes coffee was poor she said and my London fog just tasted like warm milk. We will not be back.

I went to this location today for the first time I did a lil home work before going looked at the menu online decided what it was that I wanted or had in mind I walk in and the shelves were almost bare I asked if they had what I wanted in stock and of course they did not so I left so my first impression I wasnt impressed at all so before going here if you have coffe in mind that you would like to have at home call head to see if its in stock because I wasted a 20 min trip and walked out with nothing this is a coffe shop they claim they have a variety of flavors on the website but not on the shelf

Tried scribbles for the first time... batista suggested tiramisu drink and a specialty latte... they were delicious!

The Buckeye Mocha was very good as was the cinnamon pastry.

Got a matcha latte when I was visiting Kent. Very good and I like that they have organic and fair trade. They also have some gluten free options and healthy snack options.

If you go early, they wont be playing music and its the perfect study spot! Immediately cozy when you step inside, and the coffee is very deep and ~beefy~ (in a NOT weird way)!

Nice place for college students to hang out and study or work on papers. Its nice and quiet but could use some decor in its rear seating area. The chai I had was good and the raspberry danish was phenomenal. Its worth a visit.

Lovely shop in Kent. Scribbles is cozy and welcoming! The vibe of this coffee shop is mostly social and open, not necessarily where I would go to be productive. The floral drinks like the lavender latte or rose tea latte are very good. The prices are par for the course.

Great coffee, and a great place to study or write. Its a pleasant atmosphere, and they occasionally have some pretty tasty baked goods for gluten free and vegan diets. They also allow you to bring your own mug (as long as you know how many ounces it holds) if you want to avoid generating trash.

Small place. But they have a great variety of flavor syrups and they usually have a local artists product hung on the walls for viewing and purchasing. I truly enjoy it here. Definitely more of a laid back college style hang out though if you want to steer clear of that sort of crowd.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Kent. They have the best espresso (so strong and yummy), and the best quality coffee.The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is wonderful, great mellow music, great place to study or just to meet friends. Their prices are pretty good as well, they treat their regulars kindly, and always remember my favorite drink. Its really nice, they work hard to keep a good name for independent coffee places. And, you can draw on the tables!Lots of family love here on Halloween weekend!

Awesome little shop that serves locally roasted coffee from down the street. While the store looks small, theres a good bit of seating behind the counter area. Theres also craft paper and crayons for those interested who like to ... Scribble!

This place is the place. If you want a steamy chia or a chilling coffee, then what are you doing home. The ambience is great, the drinks are to die for, and the food is lovely. Theres nothing to complain about, the staff is so nice and is just a great experience. No reasons not to go.

This place has great tasting coffee, an assortment of drinks, local art filling the walls, and plenty of tables. They sometimes have live music, but its never anything too distracting that you cant work on something at the same time. The employees are friendly, and there is a large college-aged student population.

A wonderful, little coffee shop, who roasts their own beans for delightful cups of brew. Artsy, modern setting in a perfect location in the heart of Kent. Fantastic selection of beverage choices for everyone!

The coffee is very good and they have some of the most unique drinks in the area. I havent asked but I think they frown upon people using the furniture as a place to store used tissues. I may be wrong, but I get the vibe from staff that they only want used tissues to be placed in the garbage. Its a unique stance that gives this place character. The bathroom is unisex, so before you sit down put some toilet paper on the seat; if it keeps sliding off just give the top of the seat a quick lick. The moisture will keep the paper from sliding off. But like I said, the coffee is amazing.

Ive always loved Scribbles, both for its ambiance and scrumptious coffees, but even more so now, after chatting with one of the owners about their really great updates! He handmade their upcycled tables from bowling alley lanes & their new flooring is a sophisticated facelift!

Their water processed Honduras decaf is second to none!

Visiting my daughter and she took me to Scribbles for the Elvis. It has chocolate,bananas,triple espresso and who knows what else. Great stuff. Great place.

Over priced and underwhelming. Pretty much felt like I was in a SF cafe and was basically paying for the aesthetic. A size large is anything but. Wouldnt mind paying so much if the drinks were better as it is cute shop.

When I think of a coffee shop, I imagine a cozy spot full of thrifted / older furniture with diner seats on the counter and conversations taking place all over with a drink in hand. Scribbles matches that to a T.

The coffee is good, really good. However, there are always (meaning constantly) a core group of hipsters in there that are all friends who carry on conversations from across the room with people (baristas included) turning what could be a great coffee shop with moderate background noise into a day care for loud mouthed hipsters. Currently, I can hear them over noise canceling headphones. I have been here many many times and this time is the last. I have had enough of the disrespectful people who dont realize why they are less crowded that other coffee shops near by (such as Tree City).

Barista was very helpful. Made a hot drink iced which wasnt on the menu. Always has interesting pastries with at least one gluten free.

A great place to chill. The fairly traded coffee is very good (and roasted in Cincinatti from what I understand). Friendly, back-in-the-day kind of place that always seems to have something new. The best coffee alternative in Kent Ohio!
