I stopped at the auto center to get a quart of oil for my vehicle I come inside check out the items check out the prices I see an item on clearance for 4 bucks I purchased get to the register but the guy says oh no thats not right its $10 we went back to the shelf and Lawrence looked at it and said oh well that stickers in the wrong place and the sticker beside it oh well that expired last week and says eventually well fix this I had to get another quart of oil elsewhere not the service you would expect if the product is marked with a clearance price it should go as is and fix it instead of tell the customer my bad well fix it eventually Lawrence needs customer service training hes not very professional but luckily I saw pep boys across the street I guess they get my business for now on

Ive stopped at this location at least three times and I always get excellent customer service. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. Today, I dealt with an associate and two of the managers and all of them went above and beyond to help me!

I went here on the 5th, which was two weeks ago, because I needed a license plate holder and had trouble putting my license plate on and it was my first time actually trying to put a license plate on. I needed some help. I explained I needed a license plate holder and needed help putting my license on since Im new at it to one of the employees. Instead of the employee who I first spoke with, telling me they arent able to put a license plate on, he says okay and points me to where the holders are and after I buy a holder, he sends me to checkout with another person. After I buy the holder, I ask and explain again. Im new to putting a license plate on and never done it before, do you think you can help me? He tells me, I wouldnt know how to do that and instead of finding someone who does and even looking at the car to see if it can be tried, he speaks for everyone else saying, we wouldnt be able to do that either. I decided to return the holder and get my business elsewhere to someone who can help and knows how to help and thats what I did. Employees were not helpful and quick to give no as an answer. Bad for business and thats how you lose money, especially when you have two competitors across the street from you. Also when I returned my holder, the first employee I spoke with, asked me, whats wrong it didnt fit. I explained that nobody was able to help me out and instead of trying to help. He responded with, all you had to do was.... with out ever looking at the car or knowing which car in the parking lot. Spend your money where someone doesnt mind helping you. Would never spend my money here. Seems like the employees are lazy. They want you to buy but trained employees cant even put on a license plate. I took my business to OReilly parts across the street, where they had no problem helping.

I have traded at this location since they opened.I have always had a great experience. However, recently I took a battery to this store to have it load tested. I purchased this battery exactly one year and one day earlier. The battery had a one year warranty. Upon arriving at the store I explained the the sales clerk my procedure I did to charge the battery. To include a 2amp trickle charge. When this did not charge the battery I subsequently tried the 8amp, 15amp and recondition mode. None of these procedures charged the battery. Again, I have shopped there since they opened. I believe 15 years or so. The clerk would not take my word and said he needed to slow charge the battery over 24 hours to see if it takes a charge. This is a $100 battery. So for $100 autozone has lost a good customer, even though I spent$1,000s there. I did not like the fact that he did not believe me. I am now a customer of advance auto

I want to commend John for going above and beyond the call of duty when I needed to warranty a tie rod end. He didnt have one in stock however he quickly found one and I had it the next morning. John was very professional and was concerned that I got my part asap. I have been using this store for years and will continue to as long as there are professionals like John.

Worst experience in customer serivce I have seen by far. I was a customer at this store and spent a good bit of money and I got the wrong parts and went back to exchange them out for the right one for my vechile and Ryan was the one I spoke too. When I was exchanging for the parts he was rude and said he had to refund my money and I had to pay for the new one that day but the price he said was different then before I paid. When i expresssed this concern he was really rude arguing his point and then only did 1 refund when i had 2 parts and was trying to get me to pay. I then stated I need the other one refunded for my money and then ill pay. I then stayed quiet and he just continued to want to argue his point. Then Ive came in there after that and bought parts but i need to return them but now I cant come in the store when wasnt told this prior to coming back in and buying more new parts for my vechile. Wow just unprofessional. Never in my life have I seen this.

I went by the store this morning to replace one of my windshield wipers. Mr. John H. had great customer service. He put the new wiper on without me asking and he diagnosed what may be going on with my wiping system. Thanks Mr. John H!

I write this review not to compare prices as they are about the same here as all the auto parts stores in Kernersville.What would set this store apart is the customer service.Although I have had bad customer service here in the past I continue to as feasible do business with Auto Zone.Why? You might ask.In a word PAUL.Paul whether over the phone or in person is always willing to help. He is always friendly.Paul is also knowledgeable and professional in his demeanor in handing my numerous inquiries over the past several years.Including Auto Zone no less than 3 parts stores within a tenth of a mile.Managment should take note of this review and make it a point to note while pricing is important the customer service especially that of Paul is what keeps customers loyal to the Auto Zone brand.Paul deserves recognition for consistently going above and beyond in his daily interactions with his customers he is truly a great asset to Auto Zone.

T the store manager was very helpful and accommodating. He worked with me so I could buy local, which was a huge plus, since one of the parts didnt fit my vehicle (Not the stores fault or issue with part), I was able to exchange it that day and get the right part.

I had the pleasure of doing business with Michelle today. She was knowledgeable, courteous and went out of her way to help. This is my first online review. She deserves it. I stopped by yesterday for something else, and the young man that assisted me was also very knowledgeable, courteous and respectful. Way to go, AutoZone Kernersville!

I mean, most parts are going to be cheaper on the internet than in any brick and mortar store, but here you can look at the parts if you arent entirely sure what you need, and sometimes its convenient to just pick the part up right now. Employees are knowledgeable and helpful, as well.

After being turned away from another place, I dragged my 3 kids over to AutoZone in desperate need for help. They were fantastic from the moment I walked in. The store manager was such a huge help and so friendly too. As a woman, I dont always feel super comfortable in these types of places, but for now on, Autozone in Kernersville is the only place Ill be giving my business to. I wish I had discovered them sooner.

Needed a new headlight bulb. Went in the store told the gentleman what I needed. He got it for me and I was on my way. In and out of the store in less than 5 min. 👍

I limped my old car here with a dead battery. The staff was friendly and courteous. The gentleman that helped me was a reserved straightshooter who got straight to the point of removing the old battery, cleaning the contacts, and installing the new battery, all onsite, and while the rain started to fall. Good people willing to help a novice or an expert.

They where so nice and helpful

I found a tool there I couldnt find anywhere else locally. When I called the store and spoke to a salesperson about the tool, He said they had one. He put it on hold for me til later that day. When I got back in town later that day, he went and got it for me. Thanks for helping me out. Most other places dont do that. This AutoZone is my favorite, and every time I call, they seem to come thru with what I need. Some of the other local competition should take note and try to work with customers a little better.
