Treated like dirt. Simply asked if my daughter could try on a pair of shoes without being tied together with a cable mechanism so I asked if she could separate so she could walk up th shoe aslie without like being in shackles and the lady told me in front of my wife and daughter dont leave the store without paying for them and I said do what she said you heard me dont leave without paying for them. I told her we are not thieves andhave a j c penny card that Im now gonna cut up so I told her forget it and we will go to hibbets next door. Seriously calling me and my wife and daughter theives

I happen to really love J.C. Penneys. Funny, I used to buy all my stockings there. Their brand didnt run right away!😀 This one in Kerrville is easy to shop in. I specifically use their bedding/home area and shoes. The bedding/home has excellent sales and they always have good stock. In shoes, the salesman is outstanding! If they dont have what youre looking for hell order it for you. Also, this Penneys has a hair salon. I think they take walk-ins! All-in-all this is a good department store!

JCPenneys does like some things but if you were looking for just clothes and shoes great place to go otherwise if youre looking for anything forever newborns infants not so great

Disappointing store! We live in a small town and JC Penneys is one of the few stores that we like to frequent for our clothing needs. This particular store has very limited stock and their womens plus section is about the size of one of their changing rooms. Items are always picked over and the store is messy.

I have ordered bras in different colors and I loved them all!

I bought my husband 2 pairs of Arizona jeans for less than 1 pair at normal price thanks to Black Friday shopping! Which I never do! Unfortunately, I couldnt find anything my 14 year old daughter or I liked.

Good selection, clean & peaceful. But when it came time to check out it was a super long wait. 1 person in front of me & my kids got so bored they went outside to sit down to wait. My total wait time was about 15mins & she was the only person at a check out station.

I havent really had a haircut in years, so I was a bit hesitant. The selection of clothes here is amazing! I absolutely love shopping here. One thing I will note though, sometimes it is a little difficult to find help finding something, but Im not the type that likes sales associates hovering around me when I shop. However, when you find someone, theyre always nice.

Surprisingly good deals, and pretty good selection, considering we are a smallish town of about 23,000. A good go-to place if you need something nice for work or an event, or cute summer clothes. You can tell they are trying to up their game, because there is extra focus on customer service, and a new Sephora cosmetics area.

I went in to the JC Penney Salon to speak with a recommended stylist, Nadine, for a consultation regarding my future hair color appointment. Although Nadine had not officially reported for her first day, tomorrow, she was just the person I was looking for. She assessed my hairs condition and color status then made her recommendations for my future appointment. She was so knowledgeable and made her recommendations based on, per my request, the previously incorrectly process which my hair was done. I totally agreed with her and we set a date for me to come back and have my hair done correctly. Thank you Nadine for giving me the confidence that my hair is now in good capable hands. And thank you also for the other friendly ladies who were so nice and obliging. Cant wait for my appointment!

My wife eventually found what she wanted. I walked around the store in an attempt to find what she was looking for. Almost NO sales help existed. And in the end I found what she wanted. She then left me to pay for it while she went back to where she had bought her sandals.

I love going to the Sephora here. Always have a good experience. However, the last time I was here (about a week ago), the shelves were fairly empty and I needed a lot of items, and no one was available to help. So I looked in the drawers for back stock and found everything I needed. When I went to a different brand section and looked in the back stock drawer, a male employee comes up and asks if I need help. I tell him no, I just need a particular item. Well, he tells me, We have everything out and stocked. If its not out, we dont have it. Never mind the fact, that I found FOUR items in back stock that werent out. Later, I found the very item he claimed they were out of. Seriously? He was also very pushy and kept rushing me to check out. Not the best experience.

No air conditioning, the wait to pay is a little long. They dont advertise properly either. Sign says one price cashier says other. Not many options for juniors. Shoes are always the same never anything new. Every once in a while you get good deals

Terrible staff and customer service. My friend bought a shirt that was displayed for $12.99 and would sell for $10 with his coupon but the employee charged him $20. After I brought this up to the lady, she only returned $4 to him. This is horrible, this would never happen at a JCPenney in san antonio. If you really must go to JCPenney, you should just make the drive to San Antonio. There is no reason to shop at a place with limited selection, poor quality, overpriced items, untrained employees, and terrible customer service.

Great sale going on, Mens polo At Johns shirts marked at 7 bucks, actually rang up as 4 dollars.

I like the products and drifting at the company but this location is badly organized, with too few staff to accommodate customers adequately. This area has too many lazy/careless customers who leave items on the floor or jumbled all over tables. I shouldnt feel lost in a store looking for an employee, or feel bad about others carelessness picking up after the adult children who cant place an item where they found it. JCP needs to hire some people to clean up and help on the sales floor, instead of only at the register and cleaning when there isnt a line. Appearance is number 1 factor in marketing.
