Stopped in recently with my two young daughters to buy Halloween costumes. We had a good experience until checkout. While ringing up our purchases, the total didn’t seem right. I asked the clerk the prices of the costumes, one was higher than listed when we selected it. When asking the clerk about this, she said: “I brought this down from Troy (whatever that means?), so it’s more. Do you still want it?, right in front of my daughters. At this point, my 7 year old was in love with it. I felt stuck. It’s not my fault the costume came from Troy, and honestly it’s not my problem. I felt the store should have honored the advertised price. Otherwise, it’s false advertising.Disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant experience.

Love this store for all party needs and especially Halloween costumes, they have the best selection in the area and I love that they are also a small business!!

Went in this afternoon to purchase several cards. The entire staff of four (only one register was open) was standing around eating pizza right out of the delivery box ~ behind the counter area!! Dont they have an employee lunch room or something? So tacky & unprofessional!Also, had to say hello TWICE to the cashier before she even responded anything back to me. Like I was invisible{?} No tank you ~ no nothing!!!Ill be going to Dollar General for my greeting cards from now on. :(

I ordered balloon columns from Special Occasions Part Supply for my son’s high school graduation. The balloons were awesome and the service was amazing!

Every year I stop in to buy awards for a summer camp I help run. They have a great selection! The staff was not friendly this time though. There were at least 4 employees who saw me or I saw as I was browsing. None of them greeted me and none of them asked if I needed help. One customer and a staff member had LOUD words at the register because the staff member was rude to her. Then said staff member angrily stomped to the back room, almost running into me, and slammed the door. Very awkward situation! Not sure I’ll be heading back here anytime soon!

I love this store. They have everything you could ever need. However, the staff is less than friendly. I dont get it. Its a party store! Be happy and helpful!!!

They have a lot of items that you wont find at the more standardized franchise. But when Ive tried to return something I could not locate my receipt and even though it was the same gal that checked me out only two days prior, I could not return it unless I can procure a receipt. My items were unopened. So I am not happy. Id give 2 Stars or less on that policy.😠

First time there. The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. Prices are a little higher (not by much), but well worth it for the service and to support local businesses. We will definitely be back

Wow, this place is great. They have the best selection Ive seen at a party store. They had all those things that I spent hours either running around trying to find last minute or trying to make them.

I always have experience great customer service. After reading some of these reviews I just dont believe them. I have never ever been in this store and the employees treat anybody bad. To the customer that said she bought the costume and her daughter ripped open the package....ummmm...maybe you should respect the retailer. You really expect a store to take back an item that you tore open with no respect to the store...its so not the fault that you didnt control your kid....anddddd I know this store has signs posted that costumes are a final sale....so with that said maybe when he gave you your money back he actually did provide you with good customer service but because you got your selfishness on your face you couldnt see that....matter of fact I know they have signs posted....and please tell me why wouldnt you ask to try the gloves on in the store if you had a concern....just unbelievable.....I love this store never had a problem and always receive great customer service!

Do not shop here. Discrimination. Discrimination. Discrimination. I walk in and was told no large hand bags by Michelle(worker), I can either put it behind the counter or in my car. I walk outside to put my bag in my car and another customer walks in with her hand bag. I inform her they will make her put it in her car and she said they never do! We both walk in and Michelle asks female customer if I’m with her and other customer says no, and Michelle says oh good I’d be embarrassed I just told him no bags. As I walk into the store I can hear Michelle and other worker saying I just have never seen a man carrying a bag and laughing.. it’s almost 2020 Michelle. I wouldn’t give my money to them nor should you.

I am posting this review because I posted a one star review this week in error. Google asked for a review and I was too busy at that moment to deal with it. I thought I closed the app correctly but I guess I didnt. A one star review is inaccurate.I entered the store. I was immediately greeted by the staff and help was offered. The staff provided answers to questions and walked me directly to the area the product I was seeking was located.Good and friendly service.

I was in yesterday buying some things for my sons 3rd birthday. When I went to the counter, there was two women. A very nice young lady as the cashier and the owner (she just had to let me know). Anyway when we I out my stuff on the counter, I had a Dory balloon that was on clearance. She immediately started saying (loudly) why is dory on clearance? Why do we have a clearance dory balloon she then called someone over to verify this... After we got it figured out that it was In fact clearance, I proceeded to check out with the cashier. The owner interrupted the cashier multiple times while she was explaining things to me making the checkout process harder and longer. I wanted to get some balloons inflated for A few days from now and the cashier asked me if I wanted the additive in them. The owner said YOU NEVER SELL THEM WITH OUT THE ADDITIVE. So I asked what it was and why I needed it and the owner then said oh you want it I asked why and she said it makes the balloons last longer. All while being rude. I dont care if its only a quarter more, I dont need it...dont charge me for it if I dont need or want it. I will never again shop at this store. I will drive the 20-30 mins to go to Party City next time. I also dont think that just because youre the owner gives you the right to be rude to me, the customer, or the wonderful young girl that was trying to give me good service.

Competitive prices but dingy and shelves recklessly stocked. Plenty of workers but just hanging around desk, not much help.

I purchased a costume and accessories for 8 yo.As we were in car my granddaughter ripped open package.The glove was way to small for child.I took returned it immediately for a refund/exchange.I was chastised by a man with very short hair.who said he had a 6 yo.He griped at me in front of several customers that my granddaughter should not have torn the package like that since he could not sell it now.He made a big deal and threw it in the trash.I had a couple other things to purchase.I should have just left.My change was $2.20.He put it on counter.I was so embarrassed and humiliated by his behavior I told him to keep it since we ripped open the package wrong.He told me it said on the receipt not to rip open package.What is really sad as we left my granddaughter looked up at me and said Grandma why did that man act like that?????????

I would like to say the 1 Star Review is NOT because of lack of merchandise or the lack of customer service.  Both of these instances were superb. 💖 My 1 Star Review is because of the lack of signage pertaining to a balloon additive which needs to be added to balloons to stay afloat for more than 4 hours.  They charge extra for this AND TOTALLY RELY ON THEIR EMPLOYEES TO ASK THIS QUESTION TO EACH OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.  WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY FORGET TO ASK THIS IMPORTANT QUESTION ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT YOU WOULD LIKE ADDITIVE ADDED TO YOUR BALLOONS???  ~You have a customer, like me, with a bunch of balloons the following morning before the party laying on the ground.  Needless to say I had to drive clear across town before the party to have new balloons inflated (with the special additive).  A simple solution is to have LARGE SIGNAGE EXPLAINING THAT WITHOUT THE ADDITIVE YOUR BALLOONS WILL ONLY FLOAT 2 TO 4 HOURS, OR SIMPLY ADD THIS ADDITIVE TO ALL OF YOUR BALLOONS AND TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR FAMILY BUSINESS THAT YOU VALUE THE CUSTOMERS EXPERIENCE OVER A LITTLE PROFIT MADE TO YOUR BOTTOM LINE.

Prices are high and service is not be best. I’m pretty sure I was overcharged for 4 balloons at $22. Ugh. Never again. Lesson learned.

No one told me the helium tanks dont come with balloons anymore. I spent well over $100, started to decorate and I had no balloons!! The nearest store was 30 minutes away.

This place has just about anything you can imagine for a part. I like to stick to the clearance section. Fun place for the kids to look through too - although (like any party store) gotta keep the toddlers away from the halloween section or theyll have nighmares for years.We did buy some of their jelly bellys....wont do that again (stick to an actual candy store). They were pretty stale.

Justin was very helpful over the phone getting me all the information that I needed, to get some balloons delivered to my friend in the hospital. He texted me pictures of some different balloon options to my phone, since their inventory wasnt available online. Once I looked them over and made a decision I called him back with a credit card to process the order. He completed my order, and delivered the balloons in under an hour. He even texted me after they were delivered, and let me know he had smile on his face after receiving them! Thanks for making everything so easy, and convenient! Highly Recommended!

I like this place because I try to buy from small businesses but their balloons are insanely expensive and one always pops before it makes it to its destination. I dont know if its the quality or theyre over-filling but its never happened when Ive gotten balloons from anywhere else. And have I mentioned how expensive everything is? The staff is nice but Id rather save my money and have my balloons intact.
