Big gift shop, I think the biggest one in the Florida Keys. Huge choice for everyone. although the prices are not satisfactory, everything in one place gives you comfort. What gives great satisfaction is very polite and helpful staff. A big plus is the large and spacious parking lot.

As tourist shops go this will have everything you need from swim wear to face masks. Decent quality apparel acceptable selection for kids and adults. Location was very spacious and service was readily available. 3 different checkout locations. Had no problem with purchases. Had to return 1 item and had no issue with returns either. Definitely worth stopping in when passing by.

Lots of great gifts. I would recommend starting at one end of the store so you can check everything out.

I LOVE this place!!It’s huge! Everything from post cards to key chains and picture frames to mugs and... treats like key lime bars and chocolate and... just stop in there!! You won’t regret it.The prices are also better than the competitors— we stopped at the competitor first.And I think EVERY bathroom should have salt scrub for hands—the shell sink is bonus.

When on vacation in south Florida, I always have to spend time on Key Largo and visit Shell World!! Such a great store. So much variety. Theres something for everyone!

I love this shop! Spent at least an hour there. so much to look at and everything is beautiful. Lots and lots of gifts and souvenirs.

I took a French shell world there in Key Largo hoping it would be as nice as the one in fort Myers where I live. It wasnt. I was so disappointed. It was just all shopping and there was nothing really awesome to look at like there is at my shell world. The employees are not very friendly especially the one that was behind one of the counters. She had no personality whatsoever. No smiles, No friendliness; maybe she should find a job in accounting and get out of retail.

I didnt even see all of it.Unfortunately I didnt take any pictures because it was the end of our vacation and I was tired but heres one thing I bought in the store. Cool store. They have a lot of souvenirs and gifts for the entire family. Plenty of parking whether your going north or southbound. Friendly staff, clean and organized store. It seems like we stop at Shell World every time we go to the keys.

There’s a high demand for seashells and ocean type decor in my area. My first night touching down in Key Largo last month I happened to stroll in here. I immediately was accosted about their extreme mask policy. To my delight this situation couldn’t be more perfect. I spent the last 4 weeks heavily shoplifting here on a daily basis. I accumulated enough inventory to open my own online catalog, and small local shop in my own town. Anything in Shell World, I have for sale at half the price! I don’t feel one bit bad about any of my actions because the staff here is the rudest I’ve ever encountered in my life. She almost ruined my first day of vacation, but I made the very best of a bad situation and now am a business owner. A mask up to your eyeballs makes for the perfect shoplifting climate. No face no case ya know? Unless you’re planning to shoplift, I don’t recommend anyone legitimately patronize this establishment! Prices are very high, assistant manager and staff are rotten, and the place smells like a few rats died in the walls and are currently decaying. Thanks again you rancid woman! Life sure is great!

Great place to stop and buy souvenirs in Key Largo. We had to park across the street on the side of the road in our motorhome but it was still easily accessible.

I’m a service connected disabled veteran, I am medically exempt from wearing a mask. I showed service connected paperwork which I carry with me to the security guard who was a very nice gentleman. The manager asked him to ask me to leave after I had already been walking around the store. I of course left without making a scene but figured since the whole world is offended these days I might as well leave my 2 cents. I just got off the plane this morning with issues, and after dealing with some local Key’s businesses I’m already ready to leave and never come back welcome to America home of the coward land of the snow flakes.

Shell World, Shell World, party time, excellent!! Quintessential Keys merch retailer with easy parking north or southbound.We love Shell World and any trip to the Keys without them wouldnt be the same. Maybe its for the kitschy photo ops out front or the bathrooms, or the many really, really cool shells available for sale, or the clearance in the back, or the cooler of frozen key lime pie on a stick or just about anything all things Keys. lol

This is truly the best shop around! Such cute things for everyone...love it!

Either end of the store was busy, the lady employee in the middle of the store was having a bad day and critical of customers and so we went to the ends. The selection of shells was nice. The artistic creations were beautiful. Wish their website allowed purchases as some items I did not want to take on a plane in a suitcase. I would like to order later.

Loved the store.... beautiful. However their security guard followed us around.... like over and over. Then told my husband to cover his nose. It fell by accident (his mask) so we put down a ton of stuff and told a store worker why we were leaving. His response was “ok” not I am so sorry. We would have purchased if not for him and the guard. Lots of great places to shop in Key Largo.... don’t waste your time here.

The shop itself is very nice, however they sell real coral which is doing nothing but hurting the already dieing coral reefs. Other than that the store is beautiful and there is a lot to see there.

Not as many shells as I imagined. A lot of other stuff. Clerk was not as gentle with the shells I picked out as I would have liked.

This is another MUST visit when going to the Keys, always getting new and nicer stuff. Prices might be a bit high, but the variety and convenience of the location makes it worth it.Staff is always friendly and willing to help.

This store is great! It has such a variety of items, gift items, clothing, shells, craft shells, books, you name it, I feel like they have it here! I actually went to this store twice on our trip, because I saw things there on our first visit there that I decided I wanted and went back for.

Beautiful store, but super rude and unfriendly staff. The lady with short hair at the cash register aggressively packed our stuff in a bag and would barely talk to us. She was very unwelcoming. We have been here before but never had this experience.

Its a kitschy little place but doesnt have a great selection for kids. Its mostly overpriced home devote items and jewelery. Also, the shells are imported and probably not ethically harvested. I wish I would have gone to one of the smaller beach town shops. It would have been more fun and had a better selection.

This was literally the WORST shopping experience Ive ever had in my life. Everything is overpriced, and the staff are extremely rude. They also force young children to wear masks with no exemptions at all, while they have an authoritarian police officer walking around policing everyones mask placement. She demanded rudely that I put my mask up 3 times when it was already thoroughly covering my mouth and nose. It felt more like being in a prison than being on vacation and spending money at a business that wants to make your experience nice. It was a nightmare, no vacationer should patronize this horrible place. I will never go back.

It was nice but we didnt enjoy the police officer that followed us around the whole time we were there. We arent criminals. we are professionals in our 50s. dont know what that was about.

Looks like a tourist trap from the outside but it’s actually a very cute store with a huge selection of items. If I weren’t flying home I would buy some of the beachy decor!

One of the first places in the Keys and a must see! You can easily spend 30+ min walking through as they have so much to see. Massive inventory with a gift for everyone. Lots of hard to find shells and ideas you dont find elsewhere. We travel past here at least once per year and stopping in never gets old!

Stopped here in October. It is a nice one stop shop gift shop! We just stopped on our way into the keys to browse. After our weekend in the keys and shopping around we found that this shop had the best prices on most items and came back on our way out. They have nice decor and jewelry from low price items to nice higher end stuff. Definitely check this place out!

Very nice place full of shells

Pretty large gift shop with tons of sea shells & lots of tee shirts, and other higher end gifts. Prices were a bit steep for my taste (but typical of tourist town), but place was very clean and organized and had a lot of different things to choose from.

Yeah it’s a touristy gift shop but it’s a good one to check out.

Shell World has shells to fit your home perfectly. Huge selection and sizes of hundreds of varieties. Many from Florida waters. Prices from a few cents to thousands of dollars. Besides shells a HHUGE gift shop with tons of cute things. I also got hot sauce.

My friend and I spent over an hour in Shell world. Instead of having to stop multiple times for everyone on our lists for gifts, this wonderful shop had it all! Everything from touristy stickers to fine art, jewelry to pineapple jars. We were impressed by the variety and reasonable prices.

Awesome gift shop with so many amazing things. There’s a gift for everyone! I’ve driven past it for years and so happy that a friend got us to go. I love it!Also, staff was helpful and friendly. After leaving, I realized something I saw would be a perfect gift for a friend, yet I live a little too far. I called and was able to order it-it was shipped to me and I received it quickly. Amanda was a huge help and so kind. Also I love the message when you call-be kind to one another.

The workers are so rude! I was in there browsing and within 5 minutes the worker got after me while I was a quick call and had my masked pulled down. I was standing by my family, no one else was around.A few minutes later I was looking around another part of the store and the same lady was talking about some kids running around the store to another worker, then goes over and tells the girl to stop running, which she wasn’t.The same worker came over by daughter who was looking at stuff, she was about to say something to her, until she saw me looking at her to see why she was going to say. I said “she’s fine, she’s with me.”We ended up leaving, I was not going to give that store one cent of my money. Awful customer service.

Love Shell World! We visit every time we are in Key Largo. The staff was following CDC guidelines. Everyone had masks on and were following contactless payment/check-out.

Nice place and we always take our visitors here to buy their souvenirs . Last week I was walking in chatting with my mother in law and I absentmindedly forgot to pull my mask up. The lady at the counter was so rude about it I just about walked out. I understand monroe county requires it but there is no need to be nasty about it. A simple reminder is all I needed.
