These people are great! Really good mechanics good inventory. And will suggest other avenues of they dont carry something. The bill is always cheaper than I expect. I own my bike and ride lots and it feels like they cater to bike riding enthusiast. But they do rentals, too, and I see their bikes all over town (Key West).

Took my bike in for cable replacement/tune up. Was told $125. Just called to see if it was ready and was told it was $196, the $125 was just labor! Was never called about any increased costs or l would have pulled it out. I paid less to have the thermostat replaced on my car! For someone on a fixed income, this was outrageous

Rented a couple e-bikes today and it was fun. We were able to zip around the island with no problem or effort. Did not break a sweat and when we were all done still had plenty of battery life left. Makes me want to buy my own when I get back home. If you are looking for an electric bike this is the place. They even deliver and pick up if needed a is a great alternative to spend the day touring around the island.

We rented two cruisers for the week and had a great time! My husband and I rented two beach cruisers, for the week, at a low price. The bike are very comfortable with a wide, cushiony seat, bells to warn pedestrians when you are passing, and flashing light for night riding. These were very useful to get around this small island and avoid pay for parking. Thank you We Cycle!

We rented some bikes for our vacation over Christmas break. They were very accommodating for our needs. We were arriving after hours when we picked the bikes up and they left them out front for us. Really nice shop, I would use them again.

So my nephew brought in an electric bike with a flat tire towards the end of January. Should be a simple fix, but unfortunately not with We Cycle. He got his bike back quickly, but the flat was not repaired properly, because the tube was installed wrong and the valve stem broke off leaving him with a flat tire, again. My nephew brought it back in and the mechanic admitted that he messed it up and said he would make it right. 3 weeks later, still no bike, no phone call, no message, nothing. I called in to find out what was happening and they did not even know what bike I was talking about, because there was no work order! I was told by Brittany to have my nephew come into the shop and she would take him in the back to identify his bike... Well, all of a sudden the next day he gets a text that his bike is ready, so he goes to pick it up again. He lives a short distance from the shop on Stock Island, so it rode home fine. Next day, he tries to take it to work, FLAT TIRE AGAIN! We Cycle had his bike for almost ONE MONTH and he still has a flat tire. I have emailed the owner, called the shop to try to speak to him numerous times and all I get is hes not in today and I dont know when hell be in, but I can get him a message.... I have waited to write this review to give him a chance to respond to my email or call me to make this right, but he is obviously not concerned, but probably will be as soon as he sees this review. Or maybe he doesn’t even care….that’s my guess.

I rented 2 bikes and a baby seat for 2 days. I reserved and paid for it on their website the morning of. Went over an hour or so later. Staff got the bikes out right away and explained that any problems we just needed to call them (the number is printed on a placard attached to the front basket so you cant forget or lose the #.The best part was while they did offer to drop off/pickup the bikes for free, they also allow you to return the bikes after hours by locking them to a tree of bike parts they have out front of their building, then drop the keys in a box, which is what I ended up doing.Zero problems, smooth transaction. The bikes were cruisers which functioned without issue. Youve only got one gear but key west is flat as a pancake so really no need for more. They had a number of other types of bikes available but we were stuck with the cruisers because of the child seat. Definitely recommend them.Last comment unrelated to this shop specifically. If your wanting a relaxing casual ride, avoid the southern route (a1a I believe). It is RIGHT on the shore and while its a fantastic view, the head winds were brutal because there is nothing to block the wind. When I rode back towards the bike shop with a 35 pound toddler in tow, while I made it, it was a lot less enjoyable than taking route 1!

We Cycle is awesome! I went to their shop and needed a bike right away and a second bike the next day. I was able to get the bike for me and they would deliver the second bike to the hotel where I was staying the next day. No extra charge! The bikes came with a lock and front & back lights for night riding. At the end of my stay, I left the bike lock keys with the hotel front desk and We Cycle picked up the bikes, again no extra charge. I will definitely use them again. I recommend We Cycle.

Definitely 5 out of 5. Bikes are not brand new but well serviced and wheels are straight! Fast check out, nice associates. I was as key west for 24 hours and idk what would I do without the bike there. Thanks a lot. Oh, and its cheap! It was 10 buck per bike per day and they wont even charge me for the day I got there cuz it was late evening. Here are your 5 stars!!!

Always excellent customer service. Bikes and locks are a little worn but who cares, its an easy cheap means of transportation. I rented a cruiser yesterday just for my day trip. They left the bike locked for me at the airport and were very kind and patient staying on the phone with me to help me locate where exactly theyd put it for me. I love how you can pick them up and drop them off where you need to. They let me return it in the same location that I found it. Highly recommend and we will rent bikes from We Cycle every time we go to Key West.

I am so grateful for Joaquin! On a recent trip to the keys I had a flat tire (thankfully right across the street from We Cycle) and it was fixed within 30 minutes!

Came in here while on a bike trip with a flat and badly damaged rear tire. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and even let me borrow some of their repair equipment and assisted in fixing my bike. I was able to finish my trip without any more flats! The parts were also good quality and very reasonably priced.

Weve rented bicycles in many locations while traveling. Everything from cruisers and hybrids, to road bikes and touring gear. We Cycle in Key West was the best experience we have ever had. They were attentive and responsive in every interaction and the bikes were in great working order. They addressed the one issue we had while riding in very short order. Appreciated having the Bianchi for the week of business travel in key West. Was an easy setup and ready to go. I had pedals, shoes and helmet. They provided bike. The riding was good, flat and safe. Brakes werent awesome, but rest of bike rode fine for a rental this distance from home.

We had great experiences with We Cycle. We came to the shop since they were too busy to drop off the bikes at our hotel. Within 10 minutes, we had our bikes and adjusted to our needs. These guys are great! We got there right before they closed for the day and they were super polite. They didnt charge us for a bike rental for that day and even took off some of the charge with no prompt. Also, they told us to leave our bikes locked up with the hotel that we are staying at and they would come pick them up free of charge. The bikes ride very smoothly and come with: lights on the bike, a bike lock, a basket, and a helmet (not optional for minors, but if over 16 its up to you). If you need a bike in key west, this is definitely the place to go.

I took 2 bikes in for new tubes both front and rear. While they were there, I asked that they install 2 nuts on the rear axle of both bikes and also a washer that was missing on one of them.After an excessively long wait (10 days I was told 3-4) I got the bikes back only to discover that not only did they charge me $10.00 for 2 nuts ( not stainless) that one of the bikes didnt even have a nut installed...nor the washer I asked for.When I finally got the time ( because I live and work here on stock island) I returned to we cycle for an explanation. The girl at the counter told me the guy who worked on it was right across from us.She asked him about the nut and he argued that he did in fact install the nut...I showed him a picture of not only the nut that I was charged for was missing but also the washer keeping belt tension was never done either obviously.He told me he didnt have a washer that size so he didnt put it on however he did put on the nut Which I showed him a picture of that bolt missing the nut.I asked him why such an important item wasnt installed and why he didnt just go to the hardware store and get the correct washer. His response I dont do that...youd have to do thatIf things werent bad enough, now the mechanics friend wants to intervene and start insulting me telling me to go back north!!The insults from the friend never ended the whole time I waited for my $5.00 for the nut that was never installed. Nor did they ask the friend to stop insulting me.I had planned on bringing the bike back for more repairs but after being overcharged, insulted by the mechanic and his friend, I know Ill NEVER return.If you enjoy being overcharged, insulted and taken advantage of...this is definitely the place for you!If not, I recommend finding some place else!!

Walked in minutes b4 closing time they didnt bat an eye and set me up with a great cruiser for the week. They even put my saddle on it that I had brought with me. Close to the hotel and good hours. Really good.

We had a great experience with the guys at We Cycle. Our group was indecisive but the guys at We Cycle were very nice and patient with us, helped our folks to make some decisions and we were so glad to have those bikes getting around Key West, 100% worth it. All the bikes were in good order with lights and locks too. One of our crew had a problem and they drove a new bike to them way after the store closed in literally 5 minutes. Impressive. Will definitely rent from them again and recommend it.

Rented a bike for our daughter who visited us for a week. It was the least expensive rental in Key West and the only place that would rent us a high quality multi-speed bike. The bike was better than the ones my wife and I own and I ended up liking our daughters rental better than our two bikes. The guys were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to see that we had everything we needed. When other friends visit, this will be our choice for rentals. See these guys if you need a rental. You will be glad you did.

Unbelievably easy. We checked into the Authors Guesthouse on White Street and the proprietor told us that We Cycle not only delivered bikes but would pick them up on the last day after we left. Bikes came as arranged, we were instructed on their use and the bike locks, lights, brakes, etc., bikes worked just fine, and we simply handed the bike lock keys to the B & B desk upon leaving and they / We Cycle took care of the rest.Awesome...whats not to like???

Poor customer service... Walked in with my bike explained my front tire wouldnt hold air over night. The guy rudely grabbed my bike without asking. After he ripped the front tire off he told me he didnt have the parts to fix my bike.. I politely said to him he needs to find a solution to the problem he wondered off and grabbed a bike tube quickly installed it without asking me. Once done he explained it is a 50/50 percent chance of holding air. I then asked him if he would stand by his work and fix it if I came back in he said no and then said I couldnt return the product. I will never return to the store again.

Looked on line to rent a road bike before I arrived at Key West, narrowed choice down to 2 shops. Went to We Cycles first. Bikes were exactly as described on the WEB pageChris was knowledgeable, did a quick fit, changed to pedals to accommodate my shoes, and gave me a great price for a 10 day rental. Could not have asked for more, they rent quality Bianchi Impulso 105 Compact bikes - not some generic band.I was overall very impressed with the service and attitude of all in the shop,thanks Chris

The bikes were fine but the service was awkwardly bad. Reading the other reviews of 5 stars I am assuming they were just having a bad day. The workers were extremely passive aggressive towards each other, and they were rude towards us. Not just rude but awkward enough for me to almost turn around and walk out. Most bike shop workers are relaxed and enjoy life. Being in key west I figured these guys would surely fit that description, but it couldnt have been further from the truth. When we did leave with our bikes ( that performed flawlessly) my co worker and I both asked if that really just happened. Neither one of us were given a bike lock so we had to turn around and go back and get one. That was a little frustrating but the one star rating is solely because of their attitudes, passive aggressive behavior and the awkwardness that ensued. Enjoy key weird!!

My group of 6 walked in and these guys set us up with 6 hybrid cruisers in less than 20 minutes. Service was great and bikes were in excellent shape. I wouldnt explore the Keys on anything else.

Update: they had my bike ten days and never fixed it and the owners excuse is absolute garbage i went to another bike shop and my bikes tube size they had 300 in stock so its not that uncommon and his satallite location is capable of changing flats from what his employees told me. And leaving out the fact they told me a specific time my bike would be done aka they are working on it now will be done by end of next day which didnt happen and hence this review which then they decided not to do anything at all on my bike. The only reason he is the only one doing electric bikes is because the city doesnt let other shops do it yet. I dont think I have a more infuriating experience at any type of business in my life .Do yourself a favor and go to anyone but these guys. Terrible customer service and I have had 2 bad experiences with them now. Both times they take ridiculously long to do easy bike work like for now they had my bike 5 days now and told me it would be done at the end of the 6th day and the job fixing one flat tire! Are you kidding me people change car transmissions faster and when you express that you use your bike for every day transportation they blow you off and laugh in a very insulting way as they tell you one more day repeatedly . The fact they do any business at all is a joke Ill he sure to tell anyone who asks to stay away from you.Fair warning do business with them at your own risk they honestly dont deserve a single dollar from anyone thats how bad I rate them .

I honestly dont want to give this place a 1 star review because I personally had a good experience with them. Unfortunately some of our group had an awful experience with them.We all booked at the same time online for the same hotel (Fairfield inn). Our bikes were waiting for us when we arrived (so awesome) but one of the couples with us did not get their bikes. I assumed it was a simple mistake, which is completely reasonable considering all the bikes they have to pick up and drop off.However, when they called to get their bike situation corrected, the staff just started making weird accusations that one of us (the people in our group) had taken their reservation. This makes no sense considering there were post-it notes with our names on them. So not sure how the keys with our names on them were the wrong ones. They then said their bikes were at a different Fairfield inn, which we were never able to confirm since we werent at the other Fairfield inn. This sort of arguing continued for about an hour until they agreed to bring them new bikes to the restaurant we had lunch at.At this point, our friends had to Uber wherever we went until the bikes were delivered to them. So when they did get the bikes they asked if they could be credited for the Uber rides or for the bikes given the snafu that they just had to go through. The shop pretty much took the worst route here by literally walking away while our friends were talking to them. Like literally turned their back and walked off. Craziness, that is not the norm for Key West folks.Fast forward a few days and when we are leaving the keys, we lock the bikes at the hotel and give the front desk the keys to the bikes as instructed. Again, our friends get charged for more days even after we have left. They try to call and get it sorted and they are being told the bikes arent there and given the run-around again.I think a lot of this has to do with just some organizational confusion on their part. Im sure they have to deal with folks who steal and break their stuff, so I can understand their desire to try and be skeptical when something appears to be missing or they have unaccounted for stock but at the same time, they need to recognize when they have simply made a mistake and not take it out on the customer. I personally witnessed all of this and just cant believe what my friends are going through.My suggestion would be to get some RFid tags on the bikes and a mobile app so people can scan their inventory and verify a bike is picked up and dropped off accurately. This way there is no confusion on who has what and people dont need to run around and do the blame game. This is Key West. Its vacation. No need for all this headache.

Purchased a fab custom bike around 7 months or so ago here. Today walked in looking to purchase and size up a 16inch bike for my 6 year old granddaughter. There was nothing on a the floor that I liked and a very unfriendly guy tells me we dont have a book for you to look at but YOUcan go online I did not give him time to even finish his sentence. Reason being his attitude was totally uninterested in making it easy for me to make purchase of the perfect little bike for my 6year olds bday. I earlier today spoke to a nice girl at We Cycle and I toldI would be comming in to look around . She informed me that if there was nothing in the store at the time she said WEcould go online and order. She said there would be a small charge to receive the bike by this Sat.Guess I picked the wrong door and got the wrong person to deal with ! Bye Bye We Cycle.😕

Bought CatEye light here a year ago, now malfunctioning. I contacted CatEye, who said go back to WeCycle for warranty return. I called and Evan immediately issued a system credit, despite the fact I didnt have the receipt and had yet to produce the malfunctioning light. Easy peasy and on my honor. I dropped off the light today and will make good use of my credit in the future - great retailer, thanks for terrific customer support!

I am staying on Cudjoe key and took a ride to Key West and back. At the beginning of my ride, I noticed my drivetrain needed adjustment after the trip down from PA in the belly of my in-laws RV.I got there at 8:59, and a good rule of Being Kind to Your LBS, even if youre an out of towner, is dont be waiting there when they unlock the door.Despite me doing this, they were super friendly, and the pricing was super fair for both the service i got, and some minor items i picked up.From traveling, Ive noticed that it is a crapshoot when you go to a bike shop in a tourist area, many shops price gouge and lack manners, but im glad i ended up here; i see no reason to go elsewhere when im down here.
