We am very appreciative of the service we received during the purchase of our vehicle. We were contacted by the GM who made sure that our buying experience was informative and pleasant. Thank you for making sure my wife left with a great impression if your dealership.
Very nice place . Awesome customer lounge with complementary drinks theater seating and eating area. Staff was extremely friendly and the location was very clean. The only negative was it took two hours for an oil change but I’m not going to discount a star because they are extremely busy due to the professionalism and the awesome customer service
If I could rate this place any lower I would because a 1 star is generous. The motor blew in my wife’s car and it took them over a week to diagnose the problem which is fine, however the tech never explained what caused the problem. During the repair we get a call saying that out front driver side head light is out and it’s gonna be 105 to replace the bulb….the bulb. Mind you the lights worked fine when the car was dropped off so I declined the service because I am capable of changing a head lightbulb on my own. Turns out it’s not the bulb that there is an issue with the wiring. They current have no loaner vehicles and want you to leave your car there for 5-7 days to diagnose the problem. I’ve tried to set up appointments in advance because I was talk there is a chance that the diagnostic time will be shorter but after waiting over a month since I set the first appointment, there is still a 5-7 day wait.
Came in to arrange for service. Currently standing at front desk on my phone for going on 15 minutes, ignored by several employees who avoid eye contact or outright pretend not to see me. I stand out as the only ServiceMember in uniform in the room. Doesnt make me special, but makes me visible. Yet here I stand attempting to schedule an appointment on two Ford recalls ignored and not important. So Service not listed because no service offered
Michael the service manager SUCKS! I purchased new lug nuts for all 4 of my tires several months ago and after I moved, I found out that they failed to supply me with the key to remove them so I can rotate my tires. I have called them 7+ times and his staff leave him a message as he will never speak to you or return a call. I want my lug-nut key overnighted to me yesterday and I want Michael fired. Hes a joke and I would be ashamed to employ someone who refuses to call a customer back to resolve an issue his staff caused. Watch out for this HORRIBLE service department.
Very friendly staff also very busy dealership great selection of vehicals.
Brought my truck in at the beginning of the week. Multiple things need to be taken care of. Desperately needed an oil change and tire rotation, needed the recall taken care of and a few other things. Let me tell you, if I could give zero stars for the actual work I would. Yeah they have a decent customer lounge, but who has to wait four days just to have nothing done. Nothing. In no way is this anywhere close to okay. Four days and basics couldn’t even be done. At the start of the year I brought a 2019 truck to get an overhaul done, and they didn’t put the rear diff back correctly. The only reason I know that is because when my husband left for work before there was sunlight, we found a puddle of rear diff fluid and it completely ruined the rear diff. We ended up getting a new vehicle and that was the one we are currently having issues with them now with.
The only good thing about this place is my service advisor, he is open and transparent. The quality of work is horrible. I put my truck in the shop for a transmission leak and my key getting stuck in the ignition. The same day I picked up my truck as it was finished the key got stuck again. I had to wait thirty minutes before my vehicle released my key. And the problem has persisted for two days. Although the transmission leak was fixed after a month they only did half the job!!!
Thank you Justin for the excellent service. I was in and out in no time.
If I could give zero stars I would. Every time I come to get my car serviced there is an issue.First time, no one greeted me and I’m standing waiting for someone to help me to be pushed along to the next person. Second time, I check in and go to the back to do some work, come to find out the check in person did not notify my service advisor. Third time, I called and made an appointment ahead of time was quoted to be here an hour. One hour turned into three and no one communicated with me on what was taking so long. Manager checked on me at the 1.5 hour mark and just said oh that’s a typical wait time and the service advisor told me they were working on a recall at the 2 hour and 45 minute mark. I should have been communicated with about the recalls and such from the very beginning. Do not get your car serviced here!!!
We bought a used F-250 from a local truck lot. It was missing the truck specific key to allow access to the spare tire. My husband took off early from work in order to get it taken care of today. We were originally told that we would need to make a service appointment for another day, which would have meant taking another day off from work (in Georgetown and we live in Kempner) and paying for an hour or so of shop time, in order to have the service department match the key to the lock so the parts department could order it for us.Before making the appointment we asked to speak with someone else about other possible options. Matt Martinez was right there and willing to take a minute to simply walk out to the truck with us and take a look. My husband crawled underneath and snapped a pic with his phone. Matt walked us back to the parts counter and was able to talk to the service department in order to determine which key pattern we needed. His willingness to listen and help saved us valuable time and money.More companies need employees like Matt who are willing to listen and go above and beyond to help the customer out. So many people have horrible things to say about car dealerships and service departments and he took the opportunity to leave us with nothing but good things to say. Thank you so much Matt!!!! We appreciate you more than you know! Excellent employees are hard to come by these days!!
Let’s begin on the day we bought the truck. 2018 Ram 80,000 miles. It had a headlight out, no big deal. We pointed it out, and salesman Tim White, told us to bring it Monday (we bought the car on a Saturday) to get that taken care of. My husband is pumping gas on Monday morning, truck won’t start back up. Battery issue. Gets jumped by a friend brings the truck right in. The techs fix the lightbulb and replace the battery. My husband goes back to the Automotive Center truck turns on, gets 2 miles down the road, the SERVICE AIRBAG light is on, turns right back around drops it off. We wait till the next day to pick up the truck. When we get there, we are greeted by a rude “BMW Certified Tech” (never seen them work outside of a BMW service bay, but neither here nor there. My husband turns the truck on, Service Airbag light still on. This “tech” proceeds to tell my husband “that’s just the seatbelt light”. It was not. My husband is a diesel mechanic for the Army, and neither one of us are that stupid. After having words with the guy in charge, AND the man who sold us the car, it was agreed that they would contact my husband that coming Saturday, and it would be taken to dodge to get fixed. Here we are two weeks later. NO PHONE CALL AND NO REPAIRS. Tim White spoke a good game, came off as an honest man but do yourself the favor and don’t waste your time here.
This was my second visit going this place, first one was for an airbag recall, so there was no charge to me personally, but I was told with my scheduled appointment that it would take 1-2 days to complete. Long story short, it took a week. My second experience was today (27APR21) for an appointment to get another key made for a 2013 mustang. Over the phone I as quoted $154. Pretty reasonable considering the key fob and key itself is $40-60. So pretty much paying half to program it to the vehicle. Once I arrived for my appointment they asked me to sit down and wait to confirm everything. About 20 minutes later the service adviser came over and told me the price was $325, and that was because the key was $154, $12 to cut and then the other $160 was because they had to hook a computer up. It takes about 30 minutes to do everything so if you break it all down they wanted $170 for the labor of programing a key. And cannot give an accurate quote at all. The only reason Im putting two stars is because the service adviser was polite and professional
I live in Missouri and unfortunately this place is in Texas close to where my son lives. Whenever I go to Texas I am taking my car here it was the best experience at a Hyundai dealer Ive ever been to. And I love my Hyundai car.
I went in to take care of some recalls and a possible battery issue. I was greeted, shown to my service representative, and the process was explained to me. I had to leave my car there due to the nature of the recall, but they offered a 50 mile a day loaner. It was awesome. Great experience all around.
Brought my truck in for repair and was told they needed to keep it for several days. Even though I was allowed a rental under my maintenance agreement I did not insist on one since they would give me a ride home and I had other means of transportation. While trying to fix my truck they broke another part and said that the part was on back order. Trying to get updates on my truck was like pulling teeth. It took almost two weeks to fix my truck and was not told until a day after it was fixed because the assigned service technician was not at work. After I was notified that the truck was repaired I asked to get a ride back to the dealer to pick up my vehicle and was told that they do not pick customers up, but only drop them off. This I was not told when they did drop me off. It is just common sense that if you drop some one off that they will probably need a ride back. Very poor customer service. I will find anther ford dealer to service my vehicle in the future.
Andrew has been a great service rep, and is the only one I prefer to deal with at this point. The parts desk is hit and miss on speedy service - it depends on how many people are working and how slow the customer before you is. The call center is absolutely useless. The only thing they have going for them is that you can understand them. The service techs seem to do a good job. Ive never had to bring a vehicle back for a faulty repair. The waiting area is top notch, best of its kind.
I have used Automax Service since around 2009. They have always treated me with respect, professionalism and positive attitudes. So refreshing in this day and age. In my most recent visit, I had an issue that needed clarification and met with the Services Manager, Rich Starr. He immediately put me at ease and actually listened to what I had to say. Rich went out of his way to clarify and remedy my issue. He did this with a smile on his face and a very relaxed and congenial attitude. It was so nice to have him listen and actually hear what I had to say. I cannot say enough about this experience. I am very pleased with the service I received, but more so, with the can do attitudes of Rich Starr, my advisor and the ServiceMax employees who treated me like family.
I got helped by a gentleman named Tyler. He was very professional and made sure my car was ready for me as soon as possible. He also was able to help me save a lot of money on the maintenance & car parts, which i appreciated greatly. I’m definitely asking for him next time.
I have been using Automax Ford for all services on our Hyundai and especially my F250 for quite some time and I would not trust my vehicles to anyone else . Meagen is a service advisor that really exemplifies the title . She listens intently on any issues. I may have and makes great suggestions during services if something was noted by one of there extremely knowledgeable technicians. Thank you Automax Ford
Excellent auto service. The best dealership I have ever hard the pleasure of doing business with. They are adamant about completing service to your vehicle.
Great buying experience! TJ was wonderful. And if you come hungry on a Saturday, they will feed you lunch 😉
Edit:Employee on the phone informed me my service would take at least a week. Came in yesterday, ignored for 20 minutes, sought out manager. Manager and advisor looked up my recall and told me it would take an hour. I then set up an appointment with for the next day. When I come in all of a sudden it will take a couple of days. And new advisor did not even know the specifics of my visit, meaning it was not logged when my appointment was made. This is a very frustrating experience. Meanwhile, as I sit in their lobby, the dealership personnel are texting me to get me in to buy a new car from them, not even realizing Im sitting in the lobby frustrated and disappointed. Last time I brought my car in for my rear doors sticking shut, they kept it for two weeks and couldnt find anything wrong...finally took it back, door jammed as soon as I pulled into my driveway and tried to get my son out of the backseat. Today I showed the advisor a jammed door, he asked to keep it a couple of days go look at it, and cant even offer me a loaner, like I can just PCS on foot next week... Sorry, yall had two weeks last time and didnt find anything and looked at me like I made it up. Also, they tried to tack on a tire-rotation service to my requested oil change. I didnt ask for that, nor was it offered as complimentary.Original:Came in to arrange for service. Had to drop off a brand new truck with less than 300 miles. Made an “appt” and still was told we had to leave it here for up to 5 days without being given a loaner vehicle. I completely understand that lots of dealerships are dealing with a vehicle shortage at this current time, but they have a lot right outside with plenty of vehicles in it. This is strictly a review of the service department though because our buying experience was amazing and our salesman is still doing his best to help us with this mess!
Awesome Mr. Everett was very professional, knowledgeable in what needed to be done. Also made recommendations for future services.
Absolutely the best service experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. The customer lounge is top notch snd the service is incredible.
Josh, in Services, was very helpful and kept me informed of what all was being done to my car. Everyone I had interactions with was so polite and helpful. Thank you Automax for fixing my car and getting me back on the road!
I work on Ft Hood and at 0857 I booked an appointment online from my office. By 0927 I was checked in and my car was in the back. This was on a Monday morning and the 0930 appointment I booked wasnt even the first available. This place is very impressive. Everything is very clean and they have breakfast tacos available along with snacks while you wait. Ill be bringing every vehicle here. Thank you Lennon R. and the rest of the team for your service.
Stay away from this auto service. I bought a Ford Escape a couple of weeks ago, within a week I had to reach out to the sales guy to tell him the engine light went on and the passenger window wasn’t working properly to what he responded “take it to service max” … dropped it off last Monday and told them what was wrong with it, they left me with no car for an entire week and called today to say it’s $150 for “diagnosis” fee and other $150 if I wanted the window fixed… oh and supposedly the engine light is magically off… is that a joke? I just bought the car, they should be fixing it free of charge and don’t take a whole week to “diagnose” what we had already told them. Overall terrible experience, shady and poor management. 👎🏾
Great Staff, Josh is very professional and gets things done promptly!Service Advisors are always super helpful and fast! Thanks Matt
Matt Martinez was my service advisor. He was extremely professional. He listened to my concerns and made sure that my vehicle was completed at a timely manner. The technician also sent a video of some minor concerns he had of my car and completed the repairs with no issues. I definitely recommend Mr. Martinez to anyone who needs an excellent service advisor at Servicemax.
My car has been in the shop for 3 weeks due to a transmission recall. I was told that the part was being ordered then about a week later i was told the part was on back order and then they said they have no idea when the part will be in. When i asked for a loaner vehicle I was told that they dont have any vehicles to loan out and I think that is crazy. I have been forced to use rideshares and that has become very expensive. I am very upset and I need a resolution instead of being given the run around and having a vehicle that can cause me to get into an accicent due to a faulty transmission.
I dropped off my f150 to perform a recall. After the recall was done my truck started to shift pretty harshly. I dropped truck back off for another week and wasnt given a loaner. I wasnt given any updates all week and made it clear I needed the truck before the next weekend. I showed up on that Friday and they claimed they still havent even looked at my truck. I told them to get my truck and I would drop it off at a later date. They then claimed my truck wouldnt start. They quoted me for new keys and said that was the issue. I requested to try starting it myself and the truck started right up. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone as they will steal your money.
Don’t expect much from the front desk ladies. They were not friendly, welcoming, and did not smile once. Guess they were having a bad day. The buying experience was great, by my first service experience left MUCH to be desired.
Waited almost three weeks for an appointment just to be told that I would have to leave my vehicle with them for up to five days to get it diagnosed by a technician. When I asked what the appointment was for, I was told that the initial appointment was with the service advisor, and he/she would schedule a tech from that point. Why did they need to do that when I told them what was wrong the day I booked the appointment. I asked if I could bring it back when a tech was available and was told no. Worst service I have ever received! Take your vehicle and your $$$$$ somewhere else!
Excellent customer service, I truly appreciate Eric my service agent. He was very friendly and professional and went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. Thank you Eric.
Its not the best and its not the worst place. Its just there, they never do anything above and beyond. Took my car in to get a battery changed. I have to go to the dealership because no one will change it, it takes 45 minutes to replace the battery. I was there for a little over 2hrs, definitely a waste of time but it got done. I just didnt understand why it took so long for this. But they were nice and professional.
Matthew Martinez was very nice and went above and beyond. He was very transparent about the service and fees.
I was there with a friend and this place was so nice, I wanted to buy a car so I could come back.
A few days after getting my brakes done I had this horrible noise when I turned. Went back in and got that fixed, but here we are 6 months later and now that Im driving more theres a noticeable shake when I slow down. I took it to my regular shop and the rotors are warped. Also I was charged over 900 bucks for front brakes, an oil change, and safety inspection, which is almost 600 more than my shop back home, so it just seems way overpriced. I gave 3 stars because they are kind people, I just feel like there are better options.
The amenities are nice. The facility is clean. The wait times are horrible. The cashiers were carrying on a casual conversation and complaining about their lunch times while I stood there waiting to be acknowledged. The only reason I ever return to this place is because the service advisor named DeMarco is a real stand up guy, he is so friendly and really helpful. If he didn’t work here I wouldn’t return. Their prices are high.
Made appointment for oilchange my fist and last oilchange there i got extended warranty spots to have free oilchange got told i had to pay i ask how much 65 $the said had to wait 2.5 hours and got charged 100$biggest rip offit should be a minus star
Service was great all around, I drive two hours just to come here & they never let me down.
Vehicle has been in the service center for two months. Communication is poor, and customer service needs work. Service tech cannot provide explanation for time-frame, and gives short generic responses. Lost my business.
Patrick give me the best used car buying experience that I ever had.
The last time I had work done here it was an AWFUL experience and I vowed to never return. But this time I only needed my license plate mounted on the front of my car so I figured I would give them another chance and it was much better. Im still not comfortable with allowing them to do anything major on my car but I might go back for something simple
I went to service with an apt to get my recall fixed and they inform me that they never ordered the part. Normally I have to wait until the part comes in and drive another 60 miles each way to get the part installed. If this is the leader of service you provide u need to close and never open again. This is totally unsatisfactory. Im going to tell everyone not to buy a Ford because they will get terrible service. This after I went to automax to buy my car because covert Ford tried to rip me off. What is it with FORD dealerships? I will never but a Ford again after this.
I got quoted $50 for a oil change for my Dodge ram diesel truck which I figured was too low of a price but we went over the details of my truck twice so I figured what a deal right? WRONG! The oil change cost me around $150 alone. A diesel oil change should be somewhere around $100 complete anywhere else. And I figured while theyre changing my oil they could replace my fuel filter for me which cost $24 for the filter. Charge me another hundred and something dollars for that. Literally a paper filter within arms reach, super easy to install. In all this experience of mine cost me $312. When I asked my so-called advisor while the price was so high he said oh Im sorry I thought you knew. Sat there with his head down like a little kid that done got in trouble. Moral of the story their price gouging as well as the false price they advertised has made me lose all faith in their business. They lost a customer for life.
This is my 2nd time taking my car to Automax ServiceMax and both times, I received an A+ experience. My coordinator, Michael, was super helpful. I would definitely take my car there again for repairs or servicing.
Automax ServiceMaster always does a great job serving our vehicles and doing major or minor repairs
Took a little longer than expected but the facilities are nice and they allow you to watch through the window while eating snacks. I had Andrew Mengel as my service representative. It took 3+ hours to have a key made for my car because they had to search the database to find out my car doesn’t have a keyless entry module.
I have been a customer with Automax for about a year now. My car is still under warranty and I feel more comfortable using dealerships for that reason. My last three visits with them have been incredibly poor and after my experience today, I will never return to this location. During my last two services, the reps made up issues to have me pay more. Example: filters looking dirty and needing replacement but they were just replaced 3 months prior. Or a transmission flush way before it was due for my vehicle mileage. The final straw came today when they convinced me to order a whole part to replace on my vehicle after it was involved in a hit and run. I refused to pay the $150 for installation so they neglected to inform me that all Hyundai parts only come in white. When I was visibly upset about how much one, unpainted part cost me, the rep said youre in the military, you can afford it. This is all unacceptable, I will not return again.
Facilities rival higher end dealerships and customer service appears to be a focus of the staff. If your wait is a little longer than expected, the comfort this new facility offers will make that wait more enjoyable. They offered “free” coffee, water, snacks and breakfast tacos. Cafe lounge, sports/ movie theater. Will be happy to return for future service appointments.
I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change, i arrived 5 minutes early but my keys weren’t taken until 30 minutes after the scheduled time. It then took nearly 2 hours for my car to even get pulled back. The ladies at the front desk were probably more rude than anyone I’ve ever interacted with from any business but we finally left with an oil change, lug nuts I was never notified about costing around $40 for 5, and a tire pressure sensor replacement after being there for 3.5 hours! I went in with every positive intent, but it was not what I was hoping for.Update: two days later, one of the tires that were just rotated completely deflated on the highway. I managed to make it off of road and change to spare and the next day I went to discount tire to see what happened. They told me that it wasn’t at all my fault and there was no nails or any outside damage done to tire and that it was actually never inflated or installed correctly. That resulted in the tire deflating and I had to come out of pocket to replace it, luckily I got it off fast enough the rim did not crack.
Servicemax is the closest place to me and I’ve used them twice. Probably will drive to a further ford location next time, and no longer go back.Advisors are friendly, but normally I had to follow up on updates rather than being provided daily updates. I had an appointment, but it still took roughly 4-5 days to “diagnose“ my concerns. Once concerns identified, it seemed like they moved my vehicle to the back of the line. Took them around 4-5 days to get it back in and fixed.Upon pick-up- there’s no flow, direction, or guidance. I dropped off my rental keys...stood there. Paid, “you’re all set”....stood there. Asked if they wash vehicles, advisor said he would have it washed, but when vehicle came out, dirty (when I washed it prior to drop off). Outside lady got out, again...I’m standing there. Then had to follow her and ask if I’m good. They left floor paper and window tag in vehicle (not a big deal, just more trash I need to deal with). Upon returning home, they never reset my oil life on dash (easy fix, but still - laziness). Coolant and oil levels both higher than the Max lines.Overall, I my vehicle was there 12 days. Thankfully my warranty covered the rental vehicle.
I had my oil changed at the Automax service center in June or July of 2020. I recently went to have it changed again and found out that the drain plug had been stripped using an impact. This has the potential to have damaged the internal threads of the oil pan. This is a brand new motor and Automax was the first and only place that has serviced my vehicle. I have since moved out of state. Upon calling and describing my issue the service counter told me that they had relayed my issue and someone would get back with me when it was convenient for them. I am currently awaiting a response but am not holding my breath. Just the parts to repair this is $123.03 and another minimum of $75 in labor. I’m fairly irritated and disgusted with the service thus far.I have initiated a BBB complaint in hopes that initiates some action on this businesses part.
Mr. Michael Bowdan always helps me and my family.
Installed door latch recall June 2017. Latch failed July 2018. Initially told recall part failed and I would need to pay for repair. Eventually discovered recall parts were NOT installed at all in 2017. Had to confront staff with dashcam video of 2018 techs discussing finding incomplete 2017 repair before error was acknowledged. Eventually got most money refunded but still had to pay for recheck at Johnson Bros Ford to make sure recall was finally installed by Automax and that I didnt get lied to again.
Always a good experience there. That and coffee. And burritos. And snacks...and water.
2 and a half hours for a pre scheduled oil change. Whats the point of scheduling?
Came in today with no appointment.. Customer Service was excellent & fast.I totally recommend your services to others! The Waiting Lobby is amazing! Clean, comfy & entertaining. They have monitors that provide service details such as - customer, vehicle, advisor, status & check in time (very convenient) love this place! 🤘
Normally, I have great experiences with automax. However, I had to cancel my appointment today because my car hasn’t been touched for over an hour after my appointment time. The whole point of an appointment is not to wait like a walk in.
Great customer service.
I was very impressed with this place. The set up in the waiting areas is the best Ive ever seen. I will be bring my car here for future oil changes from now on.
Very friendly staff, lots of goodies and accommodations while you wait. Love our advisor Meagan she is the best.
Jon in service kept me updated & was awesome with getting my a/c fixed on my extended warranty.
This place is pretty nice as far as the amenities they provide. Large TVs all throughout the waiting area, snacks, drinks, starbucks coffee machine, real food sometimes, nice and clean, and great service. They havent finished servicing my vehicle so we will see how that goes. So far so good. If they mess something up or damage my car by chance, I will be sure to change the review but so far I couldnt be happier. Would reccomend!
Their prices are really high in my opinion. Over $300 for rear brake pads was rough (just pads, no rotors, just rears). Coincidently (Im sure), the dealership is quite nice. The hospitality is top notch. They offer breakfast pastries, coffee, soft drinks, and tvs everywhere.
They are great! Fast service and not pushy about services
The worst customer service ever. This location will give you 1000 reasons to take your business elsewhere.
I went in here to the check if they had a part that I needed and I got attacked by red ants while standing in line in his service department
Richard Starr the service manager was awesome! He was very knowledgeable about the repairs needed on my husband’s 2020 F150. Would definitely recommend Killeen Automax Ford to all my family and friends!
Despite having to wait more time than I should have considering I had an appointment I found the waiting area extremely comfortable and was impressed by food and drink choices made available to those waiting. I was frustrated to see my vehicle sitting after service and had to run down the man with my account. I never had anyone explain that I would receive a text about the service and additional maintenance required that needed my approval. So, of course, that just increased the time spent there as well. The text contained a video I was unable to completely view due to lack of internet/data speed required and meant it all had to be told to me.... adding to the unnecessary wait time... well after all that is said and done I will give props to my tech and I believe one of the managers that offered assistance should I need it after we discovered that AutoMax sold me a vehicle with bad tires.... hopefully I will be assisted by the dealership and not have to find out if the offer is genuine.
Clean and staff was friendly and helpful
Automax service is always the best thats why I always take all my cars to AutoMax love the place Mike Davis
Justin is the best. He makes sure that he answers all my questions and that I can make an informed decision. He goes over and beyond everytime.
Always done me right. Never had any problems!
After I purchased the works package, in which to include at least toping off all major fluids for my suv. I found out that the coolant was extremely low, the brake fluid and the power steering was dirty. I wasnt notified or recommended that action was needed. I called and went back down to the shop the very next day and all they did was add the coolant. I expected way more concern and communication about my vehicle especially with the price of service to be provided. Very dissapointed.
They were kind, but not at all helpful. The first time I scheduled an appointment, they had my SUV 10 hours and hadnt even looked at it, and I needed it for work so I had to go get it. I was told at that time if I I scheduled an appointment again, they would let me use a loaner car while mine was in their shop. Two weeks later, I scheduled an appointment and showed up only to be told I couldnt use a loaner because my mileage was 2000 miles over their limit for a loner.I still havent figured out how to get the recall fixed because I need a car and they cant fix mine in one day. ( on my day off)
Work was done professionally, just wished after spending that kind of money wouldve landed me a free carwash upon pickup.
Truck was in for routine maintenance and state inspection. After paying for service and driving out I noticed the FM station wasnt coming in. Then I saw the antenna was missing. When I found a safe place to pull over and get out, I realized they had unscrewed the antenna. I opened the passenger door to grab my phone and found the antenna laying on the floor. Screwing it back on isnt a big deal unless youre a 65 year old woman whose hands are crippled with RA.
So I brought my 2015 Ford Focus here in July for 3 recalls Clutch, Transmission, and fuel tank. I scheduled for them to FIX all of the recalls at that time but last week my transmission went out and I had it towed back to this dealership to see what the issue was. Turns out they only fixed the clutch issue and not the transmission so they said theyd fix it under warranty so you can imagine my relief. A few days later I get a notification telling me that theyve fixed the TCM but the car is still not working because the clutch that they just replaced in JULY 2020 is out and now theyre wanting to charge me nearly $2,500 dollars for that service plus the $150 an hour labor cost. All of the recalls should have been handled at one time ! Need I mention the other things they tacked on to the list of things wrong with my vehicle to try and sway me to trade it in for a new one. They are aware that I only have 6 payments left on my Vehicle and its no where near the $5,000+ estimate theyve given me to fix it. If they wouldve replaced all of the recalled parts in July then I most likely wouldnt be having these issues right now. There are Postings on many Ford Boards of people having issues with the clutch and trans for this make and model car because of the recalls and many of them have reported that once one got fixed the other went out. Ive even gone as far as calling the dealership across the street and they shared with me a Ford Bulletin released about Ford Focus and Fiesta automatic transmission issues with the duration times for repair. Ive also priced parts and nothing is adding up to the amounts theyve given me. When I asked David in the service department why werent all of the recalls taken care of when I brought it in, in July he stated that is wasnt reading At Fault then so it didnt look like it needed to be fixed and that they can only do the repair if its reading at fault. Every single dealership and mechanic Ive spoken to is dumbfounded by that logic especially since there were open recalls on the parts. I am highly upset about this and Davids suggestions were that I could finance the repairs or look into trading it in. The price gouging on the services are ridiculous and the way they handle recalls are as well. This has been a horrible experience.
Everything went smooth and fast as promised. The waiting room is one of the best.
Justin was awesome to work with and he kept in close contact with me about my Genesis and ensured I was kept up to date on all work being completed in a timely fashion.
I received a first class service. My hat and salute goes for all personnel involved in assisting and listen, look at my vehicle situation. First time in my experience of car warranty and service that I really enjoyed. Keep the excellent service. You can rest assured that I will recommend you as an excellent service and sales point of reference your Ford needs. Thanks for being in Killeen.
Their customer service is great. But, if you write a thank you card to someone the managers will read it first& than give it to that person. Which I think its not right & I dont like.
Very understanding and helpful, love the customer service!
Had to get my visor replaced. Had to order part and return for repair. Always excellent and friendly service. Keep my cars in great shape.
This place is one of the best service department and waiting area i have ever seen.
I’ve had nothing but trouble with this facility for the last two years. I have given them way too many chances and way too much of my time and money. One of many negative experiences I’ve had with Automax service center. Was waiting 3 days to have four tires replaced with new ones, alignment corrected, oil changed with oil filter. During the three days my vehicle was at the shop. A diagnostic was preformed, (I was not aware of that and then charged for it) the results of the apparent diagnostic showed that I needed a brake flush, new brakes and rotors along with a fuel injection cleaning service. That’s well over $2,500 from what they charge once everything was added up. I did get everything done including the fuel injection service but declined on the brakes, rotors and brake flush. Two days later I had to go back because my alignment was still off and not fixed. I decided to get my brakes, rotors and brake fluid flushed at Break Check because it was cheaper then Automax .The brakes and rotors from Break Check have warrantees and a bunch of other cool incentives that is not offered at Automax. (it takes me awhile to add the recommend mileage before a new oil change is needed, I drive way less then 10,000 miles a year) About 3 months later I returned back to Automax at 8:30 am on a Monday with a scheduled appointment for a routine oil change, oil filter replacement and fluid top off. My vehicle sat at the service center for an entire day before it was serviced. Mind you they open at 7:30 am and Close at 7pm most days like that day. Another diagnostic was ran again on my vehicle without my knowledge. I was charged once again, so I complained to the manager and nothing was done other then being offered two free oil changes. Which I get already with my Ford reword points. On the second diagnostic test that Automax did. It was highly recommended that I get my brakes flushed, engine coolant flush along with another fuel injection service cleaning and replace the cabin air filter. I was very confused because 3 months ago I just had my brakes flushed and my fuel injection cleaning service done. I declined the additional services. I got what I originally came there to get done and nothing more. The fallowing year in January, I started leaking engine coolant from the upper radiator hose. So I made an appointment to get it looked at and fixed. Along with getting other services addressed and fixed that were recommend by the techs the prior year. The original services came out to $800. Then after an entire work day of my vehicle siting at the shop untouched. A tech finally looks at it the next day. He then determines not only does the upper radiator hose need to be replaced but says the entire water pump and other hoses, Orings and gaskets need to be replaced as well. I was charged just shy of $800 for just the water pump, hoses, Orings and labor. For the upper radiator hose replacement I was charged over $500 and $188 for a coolant flush. Well over $1,500 on top of the $800 that I was quoted for the other services that apparently need to be done. Did I mention my vehicle was purchase from Automax two years ago? Great quality vehicles for $28,000. It will just cost you thousands of extra dollars just to maintain and up keep it. Don’t buy anything from Automax Dealerships or The service center, shop around somewhere else. You deserve better quality car care, fair prices and better vehicles for the buck.
Friendly employees, nice
Josh was awesome!
I scheduled an appointment when I arrived my tech met me at my car got some info and said well come get you when its ready. 30 to 45 min later I was on my way. Love automax. The people are very nice and my experiences have been great. This will be my place to get vehicles.
