I purchased the Space Jam 11s. I was contacted via Messenger that the owner would let me know if the size 17 was available. The owner followed up and shipped my product to Florida just a few days later. I still get messages when a 17 is available on other products. Consistent communication, fair pricing, ease of transaction,prompt delivery, veteran owned and going the extra mile for the customer is what will keep me spending my money with them.

Do not be fooled by the 4.3 star review. My husband brought dozens of shoes into this shop over 6 months ago, and he has only received $500. The owner owes him over $1500 and avoids countless texts from my husband. We have been extremely patient and understanding of all of the excuses and reasons why he can not pay us the money which is rightfully ours. What’s really insane is that he just opened a new store. Where’s he getting the money? Oh right! It’s seems from the people selling the shoes to him. Then, when there’s questions asked, you’re told that he’s “checking the bank” to see if there’s enough money... there’s always “Holds” and it should come through by the end of the week. There has been a continuous amount of false promises and avoiding that’s just not going to fly anymore. We will be getting a lawyer involved if he does not pay us soon. Once again DO NOT SELL WITH THIS COMPANY! Really stinks because it is a great idea but unfortunately not everyone is honest and has integrity.

Went in this store today and was blew away with the hospitality and customer service. The shoe collection inside is one of the best I’ve ever come across and I’m an avid buyer and sneaker head. I “preordered” and paid for the Jordan 12’s from the owner of this store back in August. The release date of these was in September. I didn’t care about getting them early, I just wanted the shoes. However, in August I had no shoes...September, no shoes...October? Yep.....you guessed right no shoes.....After multiple failed attempts of contacting the owner through messenger, I had a relative of mine visit the store and speak directly to the owner.The owner told him that the reason I hadn’t received the shoes was because “he had an employee stealing shoes from him” and mine just so happened to be apart of the theft...lol...he then promised I’d have my shoes within the next week and a half.....but again...no shoes. Meanwhile, he still had my money the entire time. Not once did he ever offer to send me my money back OR communicate to me directly the reason why I hadn’t received my shoes. SO after I gave the owner a multitude of chances to correct this situation and he didn’t ..I made a 4 hour round trip to this store to get my money back myself......I did get my money back but it didn’t come without Major run around and hassle yet again, from THE OWNER. Had I not shown up in person, I’m certain I would not have gotten my money nor the shoes. Now, I will say that the young lady in the store and the assistant manager were helpful so this place isn’t a bust altogether. But the owner.........welll you know what it is if you’ve read to this point :). This was my first time purchasing from this store and it FOR sure is my last. I’ve never had a more disappointing buying experience in my life.

I guarantee you that at least half of his POSITIVE reviews are fake....just like alot of his shoes.He TRIED to rip me off way back when the legend blues came out. He had like $1200 dollars of mine and went GHOST on me.I tried everything and finally went to the police station.I suggest you do all that. I wanted the shoes for my daughter for getting all As. Its been a month. I thought he was legit. Im always trying to support black business. The owner of this company, Cedric Ellington used his veteran status as a platform to swindle me out of money. Initially he offered a package to help veterans and/or family of veterans to help start up a sneaker business. Included in the package were several support tools/services. I reached out to the owner after purchasing the package about having issues understanding. He assured me it was “easy” as he put it. I told him I was looking for passive income due to my husband, which is a disabled veteran having to come out of work to have extensive stomach surgery due to Crohn’s Disease. I explained to Mr. Ellington that I was the only one working and had three small children. Again, he assured me that he was there to help. I messaged him 3 times which took him almost a month to respond via Facebook messenger. When I finally made contact with him and explained this wasn’t for me, mainly because I did not understand, and I the support that was promised I had not received nor been offered. I asked him if I could get a refund. At that time Mr.Ellington told me I could not have a refund and funds had been allocated. He never said no one could get a refund. I’m beyond disappointed considering he is veteran and felt very confident taking food out of our mouths. I plan to go on any and every platform to warn others about doing business with Backdoor Kickz and Cedric Ellington.OTHERS PLEASE GO TO BBB AND MAKE YOUR COMPLAINTS OFFICIAL! He does not deserve to be in business! My next step is Secretary of State!

Well let’s see.. I have two pairs of shoes in his store which he was reselling for me. The Jordan 13 and space jam 11s. My 13s sold however never received a phone call notifying me. I found out only because I text the owner. He informed me my space jams are still in store and pay out will be Monday. On Monday I went to store for pay out and it was closed. I then text the owner asking when he will be back for me to get money and he told me can’t until Wednesday because was in process of opening New store.I asked if he can cash app me and he said sure no problem but had to check with bank first. I have yet to receive my money nor has he responded to my text. Do not use this shop! I will be home in a few weeks and I will get my money and shoes back. Even if it means I have to get law enforcement involved.

I have never had a problem with pre-orders or timelines. The owner is a real dude that has always been true to his word and gave me some good deals for being a repeat customer... My first time selling shoes through them was great. However, this second time my shoes were sold i have been getting ignored and the owner has not payed me its been over two months and I have gone in there several times with no luck because Cedric is never there.

Don’t ever sell your shoes here. Your shoes will sell but when it is time for payout he will avoid you. I see others have had the same problems and I’m not surprised. He is now avoiding texts and calls. Sad because the shop is a great idea. Just very poor managaement and shady customer service.

Was pretty hesitant about the store being he ALWAYS has everything in stock. But for the sake of supporting black owned businesses I gave it a shot. The shoes I wanted were on stockX but I figured going to the mall for once like the old days Id get them right away. Everything was cool at first he even quoted a cheaper price than stockx. That was a lil suspect to me but hey Im not a reseller so to be a consumer it was a win. Long story short it took over a month to get the shoes. It wasnt even a sought after shoe! Again me not being a reseller I figured this was just how it went down. Then it hit me...the length of time it took. The low cost. I ordered the same pair off stockx and realized this guy is selling UAs.

Took my Retro 6 lows to Backdoorkickz Feb. 4th to get help removing a stain I couldn’t get out. The guy charged me $30 and said they’d be ready the next day. Cool. Go back 2 days later, he tells me he had to send them off to his designer because there was a dark mark left. Did he ask me before doing that? No. I didn’t get an attitude, said okay when should I come back. He says 2 days, I come back 2 days later...No shoes. From then until this past Monday when my husband goes and gets them...one of the workers there tells him the shoes had been back a week. The only phone call I got was when I went up there 2 weeks ago and was told the designer was goi g to be there in an hour. I asked if someone would call me when she shows up and he said yes. That was the ONLY phone call I got. Never got an apology from the owner, nothing. For having my shoes for 6 weeks you think they would have cleaned the bottom of the shoe! I look at my laces And it’s apparent what was not put back on the laces. I don’t k ow what that piece is called but people who own the 6’s will know what I’m talking about. I didn’t even bother to go back and fuss about it because I just didn’t feel like being irritated any further. I try to support my Veteran owned businesses but this guy will never get another dime from me.

Alright where to beginning. So if you thinking about selling your shoes at Back door kicks don’t! Sell them online. It’s been 4 months since my shoes sold and the first time I went they said “oh it was paid by credit card we gotta wait a few days to get the money” then when back 2 months later to pick up my money and then they said “we’ll cashapp you before 5pm” and now it’s March and my money is nowhere to be found if I don’t get my money I’ll definitely involve the police. The shoes Sold in December 28th. So if you thinking about selling sneakers and other things like that I’d say keep the shoes and sell them on EBay.

This shop is a disgrace to not only Killeen but the whole sneaker community. The guy who ones this is a complete joke. DO NOT SHOP HERE. He sells fake shoes and when you approach him he makes it seems like it’s your fault.

Took two pair of retro Jordans in 9/10 condition but since they werent dead stock they couldnt buy my shoes but they said they would gladly sell them for me. Turns out they never put my info in the system and never displayed my shoes, they were there for 2 months before I went and picked them up! They were a real disappointment!
