Everything here is super cheap, and with reasonable good quality. OCPs for $5 if you can find your size. Blenders and waffle makers for $10.
I had been going to this location for a minute, and I have purchased numerous items. When it came time for me to try and downsize, I thought, why not use the Fort Hood Thrift Store. This was the WORST mistake of my life. Not only do you sell your items for small amounts, but that small amount is GREATLY reduced by the amount that they receive. My apologies to those that I purchased from in the past; I thought you were receiving a good portion of the payment. To make matters worse, I was trying to be proactive and decided to go pick up my unsold items before my contract expired. I was going out of the country and wanted to ensure this was taken care of. The decision was changed due to TWO (2) FH Thrift Store employees stating that it would be fine to leave and that I had plenty of time for the items to sell. One even said they would probably sell after I left. I stated I just wanted to make sure because I was going out of the country to South Africa. We spoke on travels for a bit and I was told to have a safe trip. Not only did my items NOT sell, but I asked BEFORE the contract expiration if my son could just come pick them up for me...reminding them that I was out of the country. I was told no. I asked for clarification sake if what I was being told is that I was NOW being told that I would lose my items even though I was told opposite when I tried to retrieve them BEFORE my departure. That was the correct disposition of my items. I would HIGHLY suggest that if someone wanted to sell their items, have a yard sale or go in with multiple neighbors and have a block sale. Not only will you retain the money that is paid for your items, but you wont have to deal with NOT being told whether or not your items sell (you have to physically go check at the location; you will NOT be told yes or no about a sale even if you are called for an offer). If you are someone that simply has funds to blow, then by all means continue with them or invest in todays youth....they will have to continue where we leave off. Be blessed and be a blessing.
Super friendly staff, fair prices, would recommend
Nice place to find those USE AGAIN ITEMS. To many people are expecting something for nothing.. How about showing some support instead of DOWNING them. Most Prices are set by the people who PUT THEIR things there on consignment. You should check out places like other THRIFT shops in the area and you will see their prices are very good and they do not sell junk like many others do. How about going to Goodwill or ANY of the SO CALLED THRIFT stores in Killen, CC or Heights, if you think The military store is to high and check their prices.
Love the prices and quality of items!
LOVE IT. FOUND AWESOME THINGS 👌 TODAY
To say these items are donated and most of it is used, they sure charge an arm and a leg for it. You do better purchasing those same items brand new.
Cheap lotsa cool things to find
Very cheap and always very helpful
Its a pretty good thrift shop. Ive found some really great deals. A few days ago I found an awesome solid oak, heavy, very well constructed German table and six chairs. They even allowed me to come back the next day to pick it up! Thanks ladies!
Personnel were very professional and friendly. Suprisingly found a few items that were brand new, and at a great price. I enjoy going to the Ft. Hood Thrift Store when I can get there.
Lots of good deals on childrens clothing. 50c bag sale is great also if you want to donate but dont need specific sizes, since you dont know what you will get. Housewares has some good deals as well. Always find dish sets, glasses or some pots and pans. Home decor has a lot of antik collectables.
Fort Hood Thrift & Consignment Shop...Some items are Donated for free to the Fort Hood Thrift Shop & thus priced very reasonably low for very good quality deals. In addition remember that this same store also sells Consignment items that are independently price by the former owners, known as Consigners. The price is not independently chosen by the Fort Hood Thrift Shop so they can not be blamed for the high prices. Please vent your disapproval to the Consigners... only they know the history of the Consigned items & what discount is passed along as they have traveled the world over.
Went here today on the off chance they might have a couple dressers. Surprise surprise, they did and a really good price. I went to pay and spoke with the old thin blonde German sounding woman ( I did ask for her name but have since forgot it). She asked if I was going to be able to take them today and I told her yes I had my truck outside. She then asked if I had someone to help lift, I told her I didnt. She then proceeded to tell me they didnt have anyone who could help because we are just women here. Seriously? It is because of women like this your womans movement is such a disarray. If she is so gentile maybe she needs to be back at home cleaning the house and getting dinner ready for precisely when her husband gets home. Dont forget to be waiting at the door with his martini.
Prices are way to high to be a thrift store you might as well go to a regular shopping mall!! But have very nice items
Always a pleasure to visit here. Donate when you can!
It was ok. A little pricey. It was my first time going so I will look around again and may give a better score
They had a good selection with decent prices on most things. It is pretty small though.
Great place, good for community great people
Good prices for the quality of whats available. Found 3 Halloween costumes for $15. Satisfied I would say.
This is a very clean, well kept thrift store. The associates are very professional and nice. Some of the stuff is over priced, but they have great sales on certain day .
Some pretty good stuff, a little more expensive than usual so you can tell whats overpriced. Brand new & very gently washed name brand baby clothes for like $1 a piece
Fantastic place to shop, clean.
Nice staff, easy consignment. They need a bigger space- way too crowded.
Super friendly staff😊 They have great deals and their pricing is better than other thrift stores in the area.
I used to love the thift store more. Its ok now but it seems to not offer as many deals as before. It is more spacious though. The bags used to be around 50 cents but now they are $1. You can still find a rach of brand new clothes though for a good price. They are located across from the px and have handicapped spots behind the bldg.
This a great place for shopping and inexpensive.I will recommend it to other people 100%.Great management and very courteous employees.
Im a regular customer and this thrift store use to be my favorite place to go. Its just getting more pricey.
Great place. They give their profits back to the community.
Prices are ok. Staff wasn’t terribly helpful when I went but that may have changed.

Workers were pleasant. Wide selection of merchandise
There some hidden treasures in the store.
Good place to go. There is a variety of stuff.
There are many many things to choose from the items are in good condition.
Great service as well as the Manager Mrs.B
Went here today and said they were closed even though the hours showed that they should have been opened. Very confusing
The prices are a bit expensive for second hand but the sales do help. However, when at the check out counter the clerk yanked off the price tags to reuse but in the end left holes in t-shirts I bought for my kids. Some I can still use but one the hole was in front 😡
Good selection nice store
Found some nice items
I like working at the thrift shop on fort hood Texas and please come see us
We found some real treasures!!
Wide selection. Friendly staff!
The thrift shop is between the PX and the Bank on Clear Creek Rd.
The prices are too high for a thrift store.
Very clean and friendly
