Called to set up new service. Their website says they service within 50 miles. I am 44 miles from them. They told me they would not deliver to me because it is a Gatesville address. The woman was very sarcastic and rude. How about providing accurate information on your website and not being disrespectful to your customers. All of this after being a loyal walk up customer for over 20 years. I will never use their services again.

Hired them to set up propane tank and run line to the house. I walked the proposed route of the gas line at the back of the house with the installer and even painted it on the ground with bright yellow paint. They performed the install while I was at work the next day. They ended up digging the opposite direction, cut through my main water line and installed it on the opposite side of the house. They left the main water line busted until I came home to turn off the water and make the repair myself. Now the gas line runs directly under where I planned to build an extension on my home and has to be moved again. They refused to relocate the line after I notified them of their error.

I am a customer of ten years and was relieved to see their truck on my ice covered street bringing me peace of mind with warmth and comfort. The staff has always been helpful and polite and professional through the years. Thank you so much.

Talked with a person on a friday about getting set up with a 250 gallon tank and havng it hooked up for a generator. I was told they deliver and service the area where I live. They said I could come by saturday to set it up and that they close at 1p. We show up and the lady there tels us they are no longer taking on any customers and that they do not service where I live. Wasted an entire morning driving over there because I was told two different things. Very frustrating and would not recommend them.

A high pressure line busted on a car lift at a garage I worked at. I took the busted line to get a new one and the mechanics thought I would never come up with one. I showed them the busted hose and it took a second for the manager to think if he had one but luckily his eyes lit up when he realized that they did have one. Since this was my first stop to look for one, I was back at the garage with the new one and the guys were back in business.

Great place for food truck supplies. When I need help getting a part or repairing a part the staff are so helpful and will go put of their way to help you fix whats wrong. They also allow you to dump your grey water their for free. So happy with this great establishment.

We had our propane tank filled and our gas fireplace serviced after many years of non usage. Service and promptness from Smith and Smith was exceptional as always!

Excellent people, the best customer service there is. These days it is a lost art to actually deal with knowledgeable people who still care what a customer means to the business. This is a terrific place to do business.

They always go out of their way to help out. I just had back surgery 2 weeks ago & they took the propane tanks off my RV filled them & put them back on. Great customer service

Smith & Smith is a mom and pop hardware shop at a good location in Killeen. I am a regular customer for propane refills and miscellaneous hardware. Hardware pricing is higher than the big box stores, but that is to be expected in a small store. Propane pricing is outstanding, and their service is friendly and efficient. The guys who work the pump are always friendly and johnny-on-the-spot, never had to wait (unless in line with other customers). The cashier ladies have always been bright and cheery to me (I try to be the same with all of the folks there).If there were other places in Killeen for propane refills, I would be able to make a comparison, but Smith & Smith is the only place in town. They dont have to be nice, but they are anyway. Im very happy to give them my business.

I recently stopped by to fill my propane tank. I noticed two other customers ahead of me, so I decided while I was waiting to come in and check if my tank needed to be recertified and possibly shop for parts to build a wok burner. I was immediately shooed back outside by a very rude man. I tried to explain myself and he didnt really care. I walked back out to my car to wait in line and another car had rolled up and cut in front of both myself and the RV waiting to be serviced. In all appearances the same rude man was going to take care of him first. They did have one a gentleman come out to look at my tank and explain it was good. I cannot however shake off how ticked I am over the other mans behavior. Im not a little kid needing to be shooed off. That being said I will not return there again. It is four blocks from my house and I would rather drive to Kempner to have my tanks filled. I cannot support a business who employs people who act that way.
