Currently buying our first house here and trust me it has been a process but Kenny the manager has been beside us the whole way and finnally starting to see light at the end of the tunnel.

Drove 60 miles to look at some models of homes i wanted to see. the guy there would not let me see anything unless i was ready to buy. then he blamed it on covid and thats why i couldnt see anything. I will never go back here and will never recomend this place to anybody. if you live in Killeen spend the extra time and go to the Waco Clayton store they are great and easy to work with. If i could give less then 1 star i would.

We had a great experience purchasing our home from Clayton Homes. We have no complaints. Everything we were told would transpire, has happened. Everything we were told that they would do to help us through the process, and what they would do and complete has happened. Our skirting was put on around 45 days after our home was placed. We understood things needed to settle first so it wouldnt buckle later on. Immediately following the skirting being put on, our decks were built on site. Thank you to the builder team. Special thanks to Mr. Freeman, Mr. Kenny and Ms. Jame!! All the Clayton Family were very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend them. We appreciate everything theyve done for us.

Beware purchasing from Clayton. If you need a loan, get your own lender. Clayton will try to push their lender, Cascade, on you. Cascades loans are terrible including points, exorbitant fees, and 4 months of interest only, including an extremely overpriced appraisal compared to industry standards. Also, if you still intend to purchase a home from Clayton, DO NOT let them pressure you into making a down payment. You should not give them ANY money until you have received all your documentation and have accurate figures to work with. Be sure to read your Loan Estimate thoroughly!! It doesnt look like most Good Faith Estimates. So go through it with great detail. This is where youll find the insane fees totalling 9% of the loan vs. standard 2-5%. Remember...Clayton reps are just salesmen!! Very much like a car salesman! If you love a Clayton home, youd be better off paying cash. But I know most people go the manufactured route because they dont have that. They prey on those people.

We were very hesitant when we first walked into clayton homes, we had previously been to palm harbor and they gave us a bad vibe. When we entered we were greeted right away by Maria, we explained what we were looking for and that we were unsure if we wanted to buy at that particular moment. She showed us a few houses and was very thorough when giving the details of each house as well at the prices. We never once felt like we were burdening her with our million questions. We left and decided that we indeed wanted to purchase a home from them. The process has been the easiest, Maira and the manager Kenny have helped us every step of the way. If you want a great home and work with people who are there to help and not just make the next sale I highly recommend Clayton homes, you wont be disappointed.

I dont know who built my Clayton home but nothing about it feels even. The floors have dips and spaces you can feel when you walk on the carpet, my counter tops have bubbles and flaws underneath, my outer panels all bend different as if the panels were warped, my vinyl floors have bubbles, my cabinets are coming apart. I cant get anyone to listen to me. All this and Ive been living in my brand new home for 4 months. I could have just bought a used home. I bought it from Titan Factory Direct in Georgetown.

This particular location is not business like by any means. The sales person was all over the place and not much knowledge as far as the job title. We asked a specific question upon entering and was told yes. None of our other questions (as far as trade etc) were answered because they wanted the banks response. We have great credit and werent concerned with the banks response. We were approved for anything on the lot, but the deal breaker was the question we first asked upon entering the business (part of the sales person being all over the place as the yes came from her). Something that could have been relayed over the phone, instead took an hour drive and our time. We would have never given our info for the credit app if the question was answered correctly from the start, and saved the hit on the credit report.We will still get what we are looking for but it will not be from this location.

Really like the homes I looked at and really appreciate the sales persons expert assistance. I look forward to purchasing a home.

Salesman I had an appointment with was off the day we agreed on. Salesman was new and didnt know much about the homes on the lot except prices. The ones I saw were not what I am looking for. Inventory was minimal and the style I was wanting they dont make and probably never will.

Go some where else once they have your money they dont care my carpet was installed wrong my roof still had nails from shipping you think you have regular roofing paper and they put cheap paper that will not last.

The prices are decent the mobile homes are decent people that come out and set it up though need to find someone else to do these things Because he did a lousy job of doing this

I was wanting to look at the homes with my fiancé. I have looked at many homes before and asked if I can have privacy to look. The sales lady seemed rude and insisted that she be up my butt while I looked around.

Ron was very unhelpful. I need a 2 bed home for my 90yr old mother and sister that is disabled. I was told they had none. I understand if you dont have that on the property. Asked if one could be ordered was told NO! Then he went into a big deal about 2 bedrooms being being enough of profit for them. So basically you dont care about your customers or their needs. Not a very good model.
