It was my husband and I first time at Cartier- KOP. We did not have an appointment. The girl in the front was very nice and said we are free to browse but if we decide to purchase or try on any jewelry, we might have to wait 10 minutes for a rep. We were okay with that. I had my heart set on the love wedding band already so I just waited for the next available rep. Our rep was Sarah and from the beginning, she had an attitude and even behind her mask, didn’t even attempt crack a smile. We tried on rings and checked out right away. When we sat down to check out, my husbands card was declined due to exceeding our speeding limit from our bank. We tried a second time and still declined. Immediately, she said I can’t process your card a 3rd time and tossed the card back to us. I explained to her that our bank must’ve seen several large transactions and for precautions, must’ve stopped the card for safety. My husband called our bank and had to wait to be connected and get approval to increase the spending limit so our transaction went through. This was about 20-25 minute of a wait because they were having technical difficulties on their end. The entire time of waiting, she was on her cell phone and kept sighing. For a moment, she went back and didn’t say a word to us. I’m certain she went back there to belittle us because she came out and I heard her say “rude” followed by some guy who also said something I couldn’t make out. After this waiting, my bank asked us to try it again and she told my husband to not get off the phone with my bank until we can process the card successfully. Well, the card was declined again. Finally, the bank got it to go through and I asked her if she’s ok to try it again. It was approved and all she asked was, “is it approved now?” with an attitude. My husband kept apologizing to her throughout the waiting period. My husband signed and within less than 5 minutes, she came back with the bag, handed the bag to me and started walking away. Once again, my husband thanked her for her patience. When I got home, I looked inside the bag and noticed my box was not wrapped. I opened up the box and the box holding the ring wasn’t even closed properly!!! This was my first in-person experience at Cartier and will probably be my last in-person experience. I’ll just order online to avoid being treated so unprofessionally.
Cannot believe the horrible customer service given from this prestigious luxury brand. I purchased the Gold Love ring and it was too small, I asked if I could send it back for a larger size. They complied and then I was told the ring was damaged and they would not exchange it! They sent back the same ring that didnt fit and then told me they would resize it for 60% of the cost of the ring. This is totally unacceptable and I do not advise doing business with Cartier. Extremely disappointed in this brand and their total lack of customer service.
I am not one to leave reviews but I am just really appalled with my experience at this specific boutique. I was treated as if I wasnt going to be spending a couple thousand dollars at this establishment. I was deciding on a ring and asked to be sized a few times (my request was completely blown over - making me not feel confident in my purchase) she just had me try on a bunch of different rings to figure which one fit best. I was trying to decide on the type of gold I would want as well, specifically which one complemented my skin tone better, and she just stood there in silence as I was trying to talk and get opinions, since I came by myself. I have shopped for Jewelry, specifically high-end rings before and received MUCH better service than this. Truly do not think I will be back to this boutique. She treated me as if I was never going to purchase - and then became a lot more friendly and talkative and complementing me once I swiped my card. I am in sales myself and can tell you this is NOT a way to earn business and repeat clients. She is lucky I had my heart set on making a purchase that day. Might be worth it to drive a few more hours to go to a different boutique.
Mandy is an fantastic sales consultant, always does her absolute best for us. She is the reason we are returning customers. The KOP Cartier store provides a friendly and welcoming environment to shop in. By appointment only ensures a safe environment for customers and staff.
I had a wonderful experience. Jazmine went above and beyond! Definitely ask for her if you get the chance. She had the rainbow love bracelet pulled for me before I arrived. She was patient with my many questions, and included a beautiful cleaning kit and travel pouch for my bracelet. Thank you for the royal treatment!
Terrible customer service from manager Luis. He was inept regarding return policies, combative and caused an unnecessary scene in the store. My family and I have been customers of Cartier for years. The King of Prussia store is the most unprofessionally run of them all. After the deplorable treatment that I received, I will no longer be a customer of Cartier. There are too many other fine jewelry establishments that treat me better and actually appreciate my business.
Sarah down at Cartier KOP was very patience with us, had great service
The customer service was appalling to say the least. It’s amazing how much more class and respect for the customers Tiffany’s had— as we immediately went there after leaving Cartier KOP. As much as we wanted to buy a few things in preparation of our wedding, the customer service and rudeness of the employees at this location made it impossible. It’s unfortunate that there is such a lack of respect and acknowledgment of people’s time and efforts at this location.
The KOP Cartier is just another level! I came in unclear of what I like amongst all the fine bracelets Cartier is known for and walked out feeling like a million bucks. Emil has an eye for elegance and was able to guide me through my purchase with kindness and grace. I knew the minute I walked out of the store, the bracelet I purchased would be one of my favorites. I highly recommend Emil - thanks so much, I’m over the moon and will be back for more 🥰
I had such a lovely experience at this Cartier. Mandy was amazing and had such patience with me. I absolutely love my new piece and cant wait to return for my next love bracelet. Highly recommend Mandy and this cartier store. I drove an hour and a half twice to see Mandy and it was worth it!
I came in with an appointment today and I appreciate how quickly things run and how fast and easy the process was and all the options I was shown. The store is also super clean and followed covid precautions really well which was great to see.
I had an awesome first experience and an even better second at this specific Cartier location all thanks to Emil Khaye. He is professional, knowledgeable and patient - everything you could ask for in an SA! He helped guide me through my purchases, answering all of my questions with the best in class service. Kudos to Emil for representing your company in such a positive light. I would recommend him to my family and friends without hesitation. As a client, I am even more in love with the brand after seeing such an advocate of Cartier as I have experienced. This is truly what boutiques lack nowadays. Here’s to many more visits to come!
I have been to this boutique three times and every single time I came out feeling happy. My favorite person is Jazmine Thomas. She’s very friendly and patient, helping me to pick out the right sizes, looking for my items from other boutiques, ordering items for me... She is very knowledgeable in the products and has a great taste when it comes to recommending items that would suit my personal style. I’m also very impressed with how she remembers little things about me from our casual chats — I can tell that she genuinely loves her clients and her job and puts a great deal of effort in her work. Other staff are very friendly too. For instance, when I was waiting for my SA once, another lady came and offered me some drinks. And the security guard (a relatively older gentleman) is super fun to chat with. That time when I was waiting for my watch strap to be changed, he kept me entertained and told me about how he would buy all the items with panthers on them. Overall, this boutique is just a great place to visit. 💝
Was so excited to go in to purchase my first ever Cartier piece. Purchased a bracelet and it had to be sent out to be made a bit bigger which was upsetting to not get it to take home but understandable. My client advisor took the measurement 3 times and it was sent out. 2 weeks later I never got a phone call from the store or my client advisor that it was ready I had to call the store to find out and check on it. Only to find out when I got there the bracelet was HUGE. Not at all what it should have been. I took it home for about a week and I could not stand it. Had to schedule another appointment to drop it back off and take the measurements all over again. Client advisor said about 2 weeks, and that I would have to cover the $190 charge to have it made smaller which it should have been in the first place. Currently going in to week 3, I have reached out to the KOP boutique multiple times with no calls back and being told it could be another 2-3 weeks. The admin in the store who answers the phones said she would leave my information for my client advisor to reach out to me and see if there was something that could be done to make up for this horrible experience. If I ever decide to buy another Cartier piece it will definitely not be from this boutique. Sad to say this boutique ruined the special moment of purchasing my first cartier piece and the brand for me in general.
Horrible customer experience !I have experience Cartier customer service in Dubai, Paris, NYC and King of Prussia .KOP has been by far my worst experience . We brought 2 Cartier watches to be serviced and change the band. Even though we had an appointment we still had to wait 10 mins, and the associate who was assigned to us got less interest in serving us when she realized we were There for service . We asked her about the price of the service and she replied I need to ctc the workshop and will get back to you very soon .... 1 month past and still no news ... we finally decided to call . And after a lot of confusion and chaos we got a call back . To let us know it will be around $525 to service it . We decided not to do it as I have 0 confidence in their ability to do it . We ask to send us the watch back . It took another week . When we brought the watch it was running and would stop . Now that we got the watch back it is not running at all ! The customer experience was horrible and was never to the Cartier’s standard . I will not shop at this location anymore .
I visited this location to have a link removed from my watch. The fellow who helped me was quite rude. I asked if the watch could also be cleaned, he said no without offering any further info. Then when I handed him the watch he just left without saying a word. I had no idea how long the wait was going to be. It was very confusing. I asked for the proper date and time to be set. The date was not done.
Go see my guy Emil. He’ll hook you up, and in turn your girl will love you forever
Great experience!
If being treated like a second class citizen is for you, then please come here. I am disappointed in Cartier for hiring such rude employees.
I would not go back this store. I purchased a diamond ring and the ring box I got broken a half day after. I contacted through email and never got response. I did not get any advice about ring size. I did not get offered any welcome drinks or chocolate like any other location. They did not provide a pouch or cleaning kits. I am going back to NJ location.
I bought a Love Bracelet for my wifes B day. Good purchase and the staffs were nice.
Cartier is the move. Every occasion.
Really bad e-commerce experience. I understand we are in very special times but at least have people answering the phones, other companies have excelled. Ridiculous return policy too
So I am not sure how I feel about this location, I purchase my Love bracelet from here last year and I got my Juste Un Clou bracelet this year and I have to say I was not impressed by the sales staff on both occasions. Last year I just let it slide saying “…oh this store is no Manhasset in Long Island NY…” However, this year when I opened up my bag to open my bracelet box, the sales rep just haphazardly wrapped my box with the white paper and did not even use the seals to close the wrapping off. Additionally, when you buy a Cartier piece of jewelry they traditionally will provide you with the cleaning kit and the booklet of your product with the care instructions. In both cases, the sales rep did not. Honestly, on both occasions I left like the sales rep treated me very different from their other customers who was of a different race. I am generally not one to bring race into play but in my option, this was my experience.
I have resisted reviewing this store up to this point, despite the fact that the service I have received has been below what I would expect for a luxury merchant. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. I called the store and was connected with a watch ambassador as I was calling to inquire about a replacement value letter for a new watch I have just received as a gift that I need to add to my insurance policy. I have had these drawn up by other stores over the course of my life, as I have moved residences (Chicago, Chevy Chase [since closed]) with no problem. After an initial very unpleasant conversation with the male ambassador who told me no such paperwork can be provided by Cartier, I called another Cartier store in a major east coast city, where a watch ambassador promptly told me they would be able to provide me with such paperwork, as they could get all the information necessary from the serial number of the watch. The conversation was quick and very pleasant. Because King of Prussia is more conveniently located to me, I called the store back to verify that I had not misunderstood our initial conversation. I was connected with the same male watch ambassador as the first phone call, and to say the conversation was unpleasant and unprofessional is an understatement. Throughout the conversation, not only did he make me feel disrespected and unheard, he made no effort to work with me at solving the issue. He suggested the policy he was explaining to me was to protect the person who purchased the watch, and insinuated that without me having a receipt there was no way to prove it was my watch, essentially accusing me of potentially having stolen the watch. I tried to simplify what I was asking for several times, a document showing replacement value and serial number, yet he continued to go back to not being able to divulge personal private information on buyer. I read him word for word other such documents from Cartier I have but I quickly got shut down and told those must have been from an authorized dealer, not an actual Cartier store (not a fact). I explained I clearly knew the buyer who had gifted me the watch but that it would be inappropriate to ask them for a receipt. Not even after I stated that I was disappointed with the customer experience I was receiving did his attitude or tone change. I am sure I am not the first person requesting a valuation for insurance purposes; the way this man spoke to me and refused to be of any assistance at all is beyond the pale. I will never do business with the store again.
On Thursday, I went in just to browse and determine which piece of jewelry would best fit my needs. As soon as I walked in, Emil took the time to assist me and show a variety of pieces in the collection and was extremely patient with me knowing that I was not going to purchase on that specific day. I came back today (Sunday) with my husband and Emil was as welcoming to us as he was previously. He made me feel valued as a customer on both occasions and made my husband feel welcomed on his first visit. We did purchase a piece of jewelry and he took the time to go over the care instructions and level set expectations for the wear and tear expected on the piece. He treated us with the utmost professional service and will be our Cartier specialist for future visits! Thank you again, Emil!
Don’t you hate when you walk in a store and the sales people make you feel uncomfortable? I had that every time at this store until I met Mandi. She gave me and my wife multiple opinions with zero pressure and has been fantastic to deal with. I highly recommend working with her even if you have to wait for a while for her to be available.
Patrick is the guy you want to talk to.Great service.
Fabulous experience! I went there for a few times to get a watch repair and service. Each time I stopped in, I were warmly greeted and patiently waited by the staff. I honestly can not speak more highly of the customer service provided to me at each visit. It is nice to know that they understand and value the importance of customer service. I look forward to returning again and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for high quality jewelry and exceptional customer service.
I purchased 3 love bracelets at this location in the beginning of the summer, and let me just say from the moment I walked in the door I felt it was going to be a good experience. Boy was I wrong, it was a great experience! Courteous and friendly, happy and respectful. Once I stop kicking myself in the butt for this big of a purchase Ill be back.
We had a very pleasant experience here.Very low pressure with a lot of information.Boutique director Patrick was very easy towork with in helping purchase a love bracelet.Thank you.
As always, my review on Cartier boutiques are always very good. I had visited this one in October, and I wore my little Cartier Tank “Carty” very helpful and didn’t look down on me for wearing “somewhat” street clothing. Thank you as always!
Excellent watch brand that has been around for years if you can afford then this is the place to go for a top quality watch
Great, by appointment only!!
This is one of my favorite locations they always have very good stock if you are looking for something in particular I bought my gold nail bracelet here and the matching ring and my service was very good thank you.
Staffs were very kind and informative; however there were limited stocks for brief cases in the store.
Worst snoodiest employees ever.. You need to fire everyone & replace the staff. They made a $4000 ring purchase feel like it cost one cent, if I didn’t need the ring I would have walked out and flipped everyone off behind me. Terrible experience!!! God bless.
I came here to have my Tank watch battery replaced. After waiting for an hour, I was told over the phone that because the old battery was corroded and that the watch needed an entire work up to clean it, dust the gears, etc. This would cost $375.I decided to come in to speak with someone before agreeing to the work. When I came into the store, the analysis was slightly different, which made me unsure of their real reason for wanting to charge me almost $400 to change this watch battery.I picked up the watch and took it to a clock repair place called Alexander Horn & Co in Ardmore. In about 15 minutes, a kindly gentleman took the watch and replaced the battery for $35. I asked if there was any corrosion or other reason for concern within the watch. He said that no, everything looked fine.Long story short, the service-end of Cartier is a complete racket. Find a reliable local jeweler or clock maker to replace your battery and spare yourself the King of Prussia madness.
VERY unhappy. Called today to see if Cartier can clean my watch and the associate’s response: “we can’t guarantee your watch is water resistant, we are unable to help you”Sold the watch with the waiver that my watch is indeed 30m Water resistant. Even says it on the watch. I’ll stick to getting my watch simply cleaned @BostonCartierEmbarrassing for Cartier
Nice place to visit but cant afford anything. Window shopping only
Wonderful staff, and lovely products! So happy with my purchases!
Really disappointed in the staff here. They ruined what should have been a great purchase for my fiancées engagement ring. Everyone treated me like I was below them, even though I spent a ton of money. You should appreciate your customers more... 2021 update on review bc I’m still talking about this bad experience and looked to see the response…’m a female and you responded Mr. Allen.
Staff is very rude. One staff in particular (Tommi Elzey) made my experience very uncomfortable. Questioned me and gave me a lot of push back for exchanging my ring for a bigger size. When I asked for her name, she started getting crazy eyes and insisting I talk to a manager instead of her simply giving her name... overall experience was really weird and aggressive on her end. Definitely didnt expect this level of unprofessionalism from a Cartier staff. Shouldve gone to Tiffanys.
First time there, very helpful and professional!
Its Cartier, enough said. Ask for Emil, he is great to work with.
Love this place, excellent customer service!
So charming and welcoming.
This is the worst store ever .. I went Today to buy a trinity ring .. n decided to try a 2 more bands before I make my decisionSales coordinator was sooo rude and absolutely not interested in making a saleI walked out 🤬Went to Tiffany and bought myself a band .This Cartier store needs to improve, I have never seen such service at a luxury brand before
As always perfect.
