Kelly was very rude and unhelpful. We made our reservations about two weeks ago, I remember talking to the worker and discussing which size truck would be best for us. We decided on a 20ft truck because I thought the 15ft would be a little too small. So I reserved a 20ft truck for one day.We arrived today to pick up the truck, Kelly (the STORE MANAGER) was very rude, unfriendly, AND unhelpful. First off the whole time I was paying for the truck she was rushing me through the process not giving me a chance to even think. There was NO line behind me, I’m sure all she wanted to do was get back on her phone. Then when we received our printed contract and key we went and looked at the truck, it was a 15ft instead of a 20ft that we reserved.We decided to go back in and ask why we received this. I explained that we reserved the 20ft, and she said no you reserved the 15ft. We TRIED to explain that no, we actually asked for a 20ft and she cut us off and said there was nothing she could do about it. I’m sorry, but if you and your staff messed up my reservation YOU should be the one to fix it. I don’t care if you have a 20ft truck or not, you could at least call around and find us one instead of acting like I’m ignorant.Needless to say I should of read the reviews at this uhaul place before deciding to get a truck from her and send all the negative reviews about Kelly.I’m very pleased that this is a one way trip and I don’t have to return the truck back to her. :)

We drove over 2 overs from NC to help my step-daughter to move into her new apartment. Now, it says on the wall on a huge placard - Sunday Storage Access is open til 10PM. It’s 5:33…can’t get in. So, now, this poor girl who just had a baby and is still recovering from her C-Section will have to come through the week to finish up.It strikes me as a poorly-run facility when it cannot abide by clearly written hours. Foolishness. We called for help ( the general manager) to no avail — ignored. I WILL write this review out more thoroughly when I get a moment…just wait

Worst Uhaul I’ve been too. Rude customer service. General manager was the worst. Acted very condescending to me when trying to inquire about trailer capacity because she used the wrong term for one piece of equipment which confused me. Her mistake but she acted like it was my fault and I was stupid.Next day went to pick up a second UBox. They had put it had a trailer that hadn’t been inspected for safety. The rear stands were up but didn’t have pins in them (so they could fall out while driving) and one wheel had well/cover was so bent that the metal pipe was touching the tire. Great way to blow a tire and cause an accident.Employee was nice enough and called the same general manager. I listened to her through the phone instruct the employee with a million excuses as to why it wasn’t there fault just an “accident”. Apparently the employees accidentally forget to do safety inspections and it isn’t their fault. No apology offered.

Unless you enjoybeing misled and then scammed out of your hard earned money, I would highly recommend going to a different location for your rental needs.I went in to rent a Cargo Van for two days. The cargo van is advertised as costing $19.95 per day. U-haul obviously also charges for the mileage.If you are a sane person you would ballpark the total cost for renting a van for two days around $100.00, depending on your mileage. I was charged $160.00 before I had the key in my hand. I thought that was a little pricey, but I understood completely that it wasn’t going to be exactly 19.95 per day.I’m not that naive.Well, it turns out that I was charged $160.00 for ONE day instead of two, like I had spoken with the employee about. I needed it for the full day of Friday and all through Saturday.I even said explicitly that I would be returning it after hours on Saturday.The boy that rang me up understood exactly what I was explaining to him.So I get a call from U-haul on Saturday in the afternoon saying that I was supposed to have the van returned by 11:45 A. M. On Saturday. I let the lady that I was speaking with know that I actually paid in full to have the van through Saturday.She said “No, you paid $160 for one day, so we are charging you for this additional day.”They had already charged my bank $70.00 without saying anything to me about it first.When I tried to have a conversation about the pricing, the woman on the phone told me the manager was on vacation and couldn’t help me. Then she put me on hold and I ended up speaking with another woman.I tried to explain to her that it was not right to charge me extra money because of a mistake that their employee had made. I also explained that it especially did not seem right because I had already paid much more than I was anticipating to pay for just a little van.She basically told me that everything I had said does not matter and that I needed to pay.When I did return the van after hours on Saturday, (like we both already agreed to at the beginning.) I went through an online portal. I took my photos of the odometer and displayed the condition of the van.When I was done with that, I clicked “complete return” and it brought me to a page requiring an ADDITIONAL $218.00 payment.So, altogether, that’s $160 originally, $70 charge for a day that I thought I had already paid for, and then $218.00 for what reason? Your guess is as good as mine.GRAND TOTAL: $448.00 to rent a little van for two days and travel a total of 160 miles.That is a FAR CRY from “✨only 19.95!!✨”

Be aware all. They employees take photo ID (DL) pictures on their PERSONAL cell phones to an app in which I think is not to be done on an employees person device. When returning our rental to this location the lady who checked out rental back in had to of been the RUDEST AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON EVER!! As I asked her about the concern of DL photo being uploaded and taken by another employees personal cell phone at pickup NOT A U HAUL PROVIDED PHONE was told “I hope you didn’t go run your mouth to other people” actually I had not but I will put here as being put on BLAST!! Never have I ever talked to someone like this lady today, telling me voicing my concern that I could leave the store on and on and on however me telling her I will leave when I am ready after I voice my concern.. following my thoughts and concerns to her I was then again told to leave the store and walking out the door I was told that she would put me on BLAST and that she would flag it that myself or my moms could NOT RENT FROM THERE AGAIN…All I can say is I don’t plan to again after this treatment by my choice. I will never use them again nor will I recommend this location to anyone period.I will be taking it upon myself also to contact corporate headquarters and voice my concerns there as well. UNREAL SERVICE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. IF A PERSON DISLIKES THEIR JOB AND DOESNT DEAL AT ALL WELL WITH IN PERSON CONTACT, Need to find another job or profession

Worst experience Ive ever had with uhaul or any rental establishment for that matter. Kelly Hatfield was tasked with helping us. She was rude, unprofessional and unwilling to do her job. Her and the manager there were busy and acted unhappy to even see customers (Us) from the start of our order. Each interaction after with with Hatfield, she belligerent and yelled at us. She told us we need to GO home and get a jack one of the days of our move, next visit to we found out they had a jack for removal of equipment. We had to disconnect our car from the equipment because they refused to help us. Although they made it clear they were supposed to do that part. We are going to file an actual complaint. This whole ordeal made our move much more difficult (cross country move) and stressed my husband out in a way I havent seen. Dont know why she still works there.. and all of them need better training. Lazy, rude and for $3000 worth of business you still cant get treated with respect there.I recommend ANOTHER uhaul location to anyone trying to use uhaul. I love uhaul, just not this il-managed uhaul on E Stone Dr.

I stopped in yesterday because I spent all morning trying to figure out why my trailer lights were not working. When I stopped there to just see if they had a new wiring harness so I could rewire the hitch, the lady on duty checked my truck and within 5 min diagnosed the problem so I would know what needs repaired. Instead of just selling me things I wouldnt need she told what to do to fix my problem and it worked. They are very professional and helpfull.

Not great, messed up my uhaul truck order reservation and refused to help me fix it. Had to get the mess fixed by the uhaul on for Henry drive which I would suggest going to as they are much more friendly and will to help. Will not go back to this uhaul facility

No propane service available there because they don’t have anyone certified to pump it. Nice propane pumping area with no signage that says they can’t pump it. Employee that finally came outside said they had been without anyone certified for awhile. How hard is it to get someone certified?At least put out a sign stating your pumps are closed.

Just picked up a trailer there and staff was very rude and lazy. Not satisfied at all. The owner Kelly looked bothered to help me and asked rudely if she really needed to redo the rental again. We had to cancel when we got there because the young man working didnt check if we had the light needed for the trailer. They told us we couldnt rent. Turns out all we needed was a $14 adapter that they had available there and didnt even mention it to us. They literally was going to let $115 walk away. It bothered me that Kelly was clearly upset bc she had to do 2 more mins of work .. We werent welcomed at all and felt very profiled. She treated us like we werent important. We had to figure it out on our own. Next time definitely renting elsewhere. To make matters worse the man who hooked up the trailer left the light wires literally dragging on the floor... bad expierence... This will be the last time I ever do business with this Uhaul location again.

I took 3 propane tanks to Uhaul on stone drive yesterday to have them filled and was refused to fill all but 1 tank. The reason I was refused is because the STORE MANAGER said they were out of date. THIS WAS UNTRUE, the tanks were recertified less than 5 years ago and when I tried to explain that to her she completely refused. She told me that there would be a sticker on the tank that said the date it was refused, this was after I asked her about the date stamped on the collar. This is an excerpt from an article I found online- If the letter stamped is an e, then the tank was inspected only visually and externally. This means that youll need to get it inspected within five years of the date indicated. I understand that they dont want my tank to rupture, I get that. But after showing her the STAMPED date on the collar she completely ignored it and told me there would be a sticker. I took the other tanks down the road to Tractor Supply Company and had them filled, I would suggest you do the same.

Had system problems during my visit and took two separate outings to finally get my rental, they took the card hold out TWICE, did not inform me until I came to ask that it would do that. I do not recommend using them and I won’t be anymore.

Im only giving 5 stars so everyone can see this post.My family member went to rent a uhaul, not only was the wait forever but, the lady that helped us was beyond rude, I get you are busy and these last few weeks have been hard on everyone. But the eyerolling and the attitude was not needed. The sad part is she wasnt only rude with us. But also the lady she was working.
