Not your typical experience, but will share anyway. My vehicle was experiencing issues, so I brought it to my regular mechanic; was told issue was covered under extended warranty and to bring to local Romeo Ford for warranty repair. Drop off vehicle, warranty issue is confirmed at dealership, vehicle is repaired and receive a call it is ready for pick up, no charge for warranty work. Following day, I receive a separate call stating that the repair is actually outside the 10 year warranty period (2011-2021 = 11 years since cars are released in year prior) and that there was a substantial bill associated with the repair. Originally, they offered to take the cost of the part off the bill. Eventually, they stood by the original agreement/ understanding that the work was covered under warranty with no charge. They handled everything very professionally and were only docked the 1 star for [momentarily] trying to push the bill to me. Had they revealed we were outside the warranty period prior to beginning work, I would not have disputed charges as the price was fair. Glad they stood by their word and original agreement. Would shop here for a new vehicle and would recommend to friends and family based on this experience.

When I went there i wasn’t looking for anything at all. i just wanted to see if i would be able to get approved on a loan. Jade Winters was there and she made some time to talk with me and she showed me some cars and went over my options. the car buying process was difficult but Jade made it worth while. We got all my paperwork squared away and I went home with a car i was truly happy with.

I was only looking at trucks. I wasnt planning on buying one. Jade Winters came along to ask if I needed help. She left me to look, without hassling me about buying. It is because of her great attitude that I did indeed buy a truck. She was great the whole time!! Jade Winters is an asset to Romeo Ford! I actually went home to get my wife to come look at the truck. Jade was sweet and understanding as my wife asked many questions and inspected the truck. Jade was honest and friendly. She made us feel at ease. We will visit her again, when the time comes!

These guys were really nice along the lines of making sure I got help. Mike the service manager made sure I got hooked up with Ken... And Ken was awesome. I wish he was able to finish the job he started, and he wanted to, but unfortunately the part wasnt in stock because they no longer service rvs... Which is why the review is of 4 stars, otherwise Ken was a TEN!!Go back to servicing RVs. Not having the space and not being in insurance limits is a bs excuse when I did the oil change myself in a parking lot. Easy loss of money on the service, otherwise I appreciate bringing in Ken to let me know why my engine light went on. Ken gave a full reasoning and tried his best to help me out.

The technicians at Romeo Ford really know their trade. They recently fixed a problem that Id been having for quite a while and my truck drives like new again. Krissy, my service rep is always pleasant and knowledgeable. She keeps me up to date when my truck is in the shop through excellent communication. When my truck is due for routine maintenance, I take advantadge of The Works oil change and tire rotation package. Romeo keeps my truck running smoothly and reliably.

Jennifer is an awesome lady to work with. The service department is very professional and quick. It was also very clean and well stocked with hot and cold beverages to drink while your vehicle is being serviced or repaired. Good selection of magazines for reading. I look forward to the next time I have my truck serviced or repaired. I bought my truck over a month ago and feel like I should have got an owners manual and a set of Ford floor mats. I am a retired àrmy soldier and served my country for 20 years, I will order the owners manual and buy the floor mats for my birthday gift to me. My next truck will be a ford F 250 or 350. Theres no truck like a ford, there the best on the road and off. They just keep getting better, so kudos to Ford for that. Still feel I should have got the manual and floor mats, the sun will still come up in the morning. Im a proud ford owner and tell my friends and associates to buy Ford. Thank you for reading this. I want to recognize you all for this service experience! I’m staying at the Roundout Valley RV Campground, 18 miles from Romeo Ford. While preparing my truck to visit your shop, I placed my $100 flashlight on the rear bumper. You get the story! When I picked up my truck, my flashlight was on my armrest. I immediately realized that your mechanics or service technician found it and secured it in my truck. I was relieved that it did not fall off during the drive and overwhelmed by the professionalism and courtesy. Thank You!!!

Found my dream car there! At first I was hesitant since the price of the vehicle listed as we saw it and called to make an appointment to see it was almost 2k higher when we went in person. They quickly rectified the situation, dropped the price to the advertised price we saw it at.. i had taken a pic so that helped! 😀.. and still took more $ off. It was in the middle of the whole covid mess where all the NJ DMV’s were closed and they still found a way to get it all done! On top of that when we went to sign the papers, the bank in the meantime came back with lower rates and saved me even more than originally agreed upon! Edit; they have since made the repairs initially promised at time of purchase, no issues nowPurchased my 2016 Cadillac CTS from them last august. To start things off, the salesman Chris,quoted me a price that was 3,000 higher than the price on their own website. I won’t fault him for that though honestly, I understand it’s a commissioned based business and he’s just trying to maximize his paycheck. With that said, know the listing price before you go in to speak with them. Due diligence cannot be overstated,as nice as they seem, they are there for a paycheck.Now onto the real problems; the car itself had a fault touch screen. I called within a week, or purchase to set an appointment… which they were kind enough to set….a month later… I drive the 80 miles each way, to have it looked at. At this point they told me it was a control part or something, supposedly ordered the part, we set an appointment for the repair (another several weeks away) then they cancelled the appointment a few days before the repair was to be done. I tried several times after that to reschedule and find out what was going on, at one point they told me they had shipped the part back and they’d get back to me about how we would proceed. Here we are almost a year later, my center console is still not working. They wasted my time driving down there, they gaslit me several times, and didn’t honor an agreement to fix the issue. Overall, terrible experience. Wouldn’t purchase from them again.

I didnt purchase the first day I was on the lots, so they changed me to one of their high pressure salesmen for the next day that I was supposed to test drive. Then I caught the salesman dead to rights lying to me. I was told they would have a certain vehicle there (brought over from their Chevrolet dealer) ready to test drive. Next day, the salesman called and said someone bought that truck online the night before, but he said he had plenty of pickups to show me (I had already looked at them the day before). I dropped by the Chevrolet dealer and saw the truck I was supposed to test drive sitting on the front row for sale. At that point, I determined I would never use Romeo Ford for any purchase, but, I did purchase a pickup from Romeo Chevrolet and had one of the most pleasurable sales experiences I have ever had purchasing a car.

I wish I could give them less then 1 star. My husband bought a used 2015 Ford Focus from them in Aug 2020. At the time of purchase the transmission was having problems but we were guaranteed that it would be repaired at no cost. The transmission was replaced because they went through the extended warranty we purchased by saying it happened after we took delivery of the car. I wonder what they would have done if we didn’t have an extended warranty? The repair definitely didn’t come at their expense (SHADY). Less then two months later and the car is having transmission problems again. We brought the car back and were told that the clutch is bad and would cost $2100 to repair because it’s a wearable item and not covered under warranty. When we went to pick up the vehicle, without having the repair done, they would not release it until we paid $139 for diagnostic (which we were never told prior). This has been a nightmare from day one and I would not recommend Romeo Ford to anyone. There is some very shady things being done, very poor communication and horrible customer service!

Hit a deer with our GMC Terrain and managed to do a ton of damage to our poor car! The body shop at Romeo Ford was wonderful! I cant say enough good things about Romeo Ford. I have purchased 2 new vehicles from them this year. My first was 2019 F150 Lariat that I purchased in February. Shay was an amazing sales person. She took the time to go over everything, and get me exactly what I wanted in the price range that I was hoping to be in. I even traded in my old F150 to them and was offered a deal I could not refuse.I went back last week and traded in my Hyundai Tuscon on a 2020 Escape, and I could not be happier. Once again Shay was an amazing sales person, I will never deal with anybody else. The Manager Robbie was also a tremendous help as was the Finance Manager Jeff.I cant say enough good things about this dealership. They will have my Ford Business as long as they are around. It all started with a simple motor misfire and ended with the single worst professional transaction Ive ever had in my life.Call AAA, get a tow, wait until open the next business day. Explain the problem, wait a few hours for the truck to be examined. Truck gets brought in, tech diagnoses a bad starter which needs to be fixed before he can move forward. Fine, do it. Wait a few more hours, tech explains the oil smells of fuel and needs to be replaced. Agreed, do it. Right before the end of the business day (on a Friday, these guys only do oil changes on the weekends) Im told they got the truck started and its making a horrible metallic clang and that they fear the motor is destroyed via a bent connecting rod. Im told they will continue their diagnosis on Monday.Being that Im not from around here I need to get a hotel room. Wait the weekend. Spend most of my weekend calling junk yards and looking for replacement motors, which was not an enjoyable experience. Monday comes around and Im told they dont have time for me after all. I decide Id like to take my business elsewhere, take my keys and tell them to not touch my truck any further. Shortly after their service manager calls me with a belly full of attitude and I respond in kind. Go back out to guard my truck as I have a strong suspicion these are the kind of people that might mess with it.What do I find upon getting in eyeshot of the truck? One of their techs had broken in (quite literally, I had specifically denied them access to it) and was filling the motor with motor oil. At first he lied to me and said he was missing a tool but once confronted about the jug of oil he came clean. Heres the real story:They drained my oil that fateful Friday and forgot to replace it. They started my motor and seeing as it had no oil in it, it made a horrible metallic clanging sound. Once I had denied them my business they realized that I would be going to a different mechanic and their gaffe would be discovered.Obviously not happy with learning the truth, I went to speak to their general manager. He listened to my story, then took me into a room to mediate with that same service manager. What actually happened was they bullied and berated me until I left their office in disgust. Not only did they both know what happened but they were clearly under the impression that it wasnt a big deal.I towed the truck to a competent mechanic and I was on the road the next day. It just needed a new fuel injector.The only tragedy in this Shakespearean tale (get it, romeo, haha...) is that these guys are still in business. To anyone out there that reads this and still gives these guys your business, well, you deserve what you get.P.s. Im not even really that mad about the oil thing (anymore). People make mistakes and if they had just told me the truth of what had happened it could have ended there. Instead they chose to lie, possibly commit b&e, and employ aggressive tactics to shut me down. Its really unfortunate Im not a local so I cant tell every single person I meet to never go to romeo ford of kingston. One star because google doesnt allow negative 1 million stars.Edit: in response to the reply below: shamefully, yet unsurprisingly, youve missed the forest for the trees. You simply lost my business by promising a certain schedule and failing to deliver. This review exists because of everything that happened after. Thank you but Ill pass on any further communication with you guys, Ive had enough to last a lifetime already.

We went to Romeo because our Jeep was giving us issues and decided to trade it in for a brand new car. We met with Shay who was amazing and helped us find a car we really love (2020 Ford Focus). Shay along with Tom who was also amazing worked with us to make sure we got the best deal possible. They ended up getting us a deal that we didn’t think was possible. We had such a great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to come here again for a car if needed!

My wife and I have leased our 4th vehicle from Ford. The experience we had with our salesman Tyler Romer was second to none. Tyler went over and beyond to find the right car for us based on our needs and price range. He not only provided us with options but went as far as searching all the dealerships within a 100 miles radius to ensure the vehicle we wanted had all the options we requested. When it came time to sign, Tyler was a zero pressure salesman and that was appreciated. As Sleazy as it gets. They lied through their teeth about a trade in special to get me to go to the dealership.I confirmed before I arrived and before I test drove the car the trade in special applied after I gave them ALL my car information before I got there.Then the next day when I’m emotionally invested in the car they gave me high numbers that did not seem right when I was about to cut the deal they did not tell me the trade in special did not apply I had to ask these questions because I knew something was not right. They then told me the trade in special did not apply and tried to scam me even further on my trade.They think that a single woman coming into that place is stupid. Nice try.

Today my wife and I purchased a F150 and had a great salesman named Tyler and Lou. These two great gentleman were very informative in telling us about our vehicle. My girlfriend and I had been searching for a used Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van for months. We live on the California coast in the Bay Area, and this model of vehicle is in high demand and typically demonstrates quite a bit of mark up on the price subsequently. Upon our search, I scanned both our current zip code in CA, and the extended region around my hometown in PA on the east coast. Romeo Ford of Kingston had just listed the perfect used unit for us in early November, and the rest was history. Placing an immediate reserve on the vehicle was a breeze following contact from the dealer’s internet sales manager post online inquiry. The sale took about three weeks to coordinate, but Robbie and Chris made this task simple and stress-free. Given our work schedules, we planned to pick up the van leading into our holiday break. Not only did Amanda and Dustin make the paperwork end of the out-of-state process clear, both the salesman and general sales manager hand-delivered the vehicle to us at the Philly airport after a red eye flight from San Francisco—commuting to our location three hours away from their facility. We were so thankful. I received complete information about items I was interested and when I visited them in person, I met sales associate Tom. He showed me all version of the vehicles I was interested explaining details and answering my technical questions. My experience at Romeo Ford is highest of possible. Update: The service manager, Robbie, called and was able to soothe things and make me feel a lot more comfortable returning for future business. I hope this is the level of service that will continue going forward.I will preface this with the only reason this is not a 1 star is because I have had good service here in the past. I was in the other day for my 50K Mile Maintenance Package except thats not what I got. What I was performed Works(oil change, tire rotation, and multi point). In addition, I had inquired about a promotion they had online and was told the service manager wasnt aware of it, but the service advisor told me she would check to see if he would honor it. I told her multiple times to let me know prior to doing any additional work because I wanted to know a) the price, b)if the work even needed to be done, and c)give my consent for that work to be done as it was something I could do myself. Well, I should have walked out the door at that point because the service advisor was acting like I was a nuisance and brushed me off and kept saying to just go have a seat. Lo and behold when I go to check in because it seemed to be taking to long for the service I had requested, she says everything is done including the service I had not approved. When I mentioned this her response was(Im paraphrasing here) tough, the work had already been done. I would have stayed and spoke to someone else except I was already running behind for an important meeting.

If zero stars was an option that’s what this review would be.. we brought our 2017 pick up truck to Romeo ford in Kingston due to the truck starting then not starting on a Thursday...was told the truck would be diagnosed by the evening... we’ll sure enough the truck was not... finally on Tuesday after they replaced parts that didn’t need to be replaced we got told that they believe they figured out the problem an we could pick the truck up Tuesday evening we paid almost a 900.00 dollar bill an took the truck home not even 24 hours later guess what the truck will not start.. we paid 900.00 to get the truck back with the same problem it had that made us bring the truck in.. we will never bring another vehicle to this so called business or ever recommend them to anyone and the women who answer the phone are nasty/rude like it’s okay to just waste 900.00 dollars the only some what positive thing I can say is the main mechanic was very polite
