Grateful to have found South Shore Autoworks! My dead car was towed to them on a Friday morning and they had me back on the road with a new battery later that day. Other places that I had contacted before them gave me a window of 2 weeks to even look at it and diagnose the problem. They were, kind, communicative and very fair. Ill definitely be back for regular maintenance.

Went to have 1 faulty fuel injector replaced, had 3 replaced there 30k prior. Was talked into replacing all 6 at a cost of $2600. Check engine light came on 2 minutes after I pulled out.They brought the car back in the shop and then told me I need new turbos $6600! Turns out problem was failing catalytic converter.

Im very dissapointed with my visit there today. Ive decided that ill never go there for anything again!

I get everything done here, oil changes, engine work, tires changes, new tires. Casey has always given me an explanation for what things will cost, and the pros/cons of doing it myself versus having them do the work.I dont think my car even drove as smooth off the lot as they were able to get it when I rotated and aligned the tires.They excel in work for Porsche, VW, BMW, Audi and other German cars. Theyre equally awesome for Subaru and Toyota as well.

I had them mount, balance and install a new set of winter wheels and tires on my S3; great service and I was provided with a rental while the work was being done.

I was on the market to get myself a set of new tires. I knew I wanted SSAs opinion since they were at a HPDE event at Palmer when I was there. I called and asked if a set of RE-71R or ZII Star-Spec or something great for the track would fix on my new set of rims for my 987 Boxster. The guy on phone inform me that Star-Spec is a BMW term, sothey would not fit and as far as the RE-71R he would have to do some research. I thought that was odd about the star spec being a BMW term but I trusted them and will see what comes back from their research. A week had gone by and I have not heard back from them, so I called to see if there was any updates. They seem to completely forgot about the whole thing since I had to explain everything again and once I finish explaining, the guy was like oh we are still researching. It been 3 weeks since I called the second time and I have not heard back from them. They were great when I got my car serviced and tracked prep by them. I am extremely disappointed with them. I felt like since I had a base boxster that they much rather deal with 911s, Spyders, and GTs.

Ive known Justin Becker for years and found him to be an honest and highly competent Porsche technician.

This garage is honest, trustworthy and professional. I have an 08 Acura MDX and we encountered severe brake trouble in the rear while in Cape Cod. I was in Plymouth, MA with my family and we needed to travel back to Montreal, Canada the same day. I checked out some local garages and the Wal Mart had no mechanics to do brake work so I went to South Shore Autoworks where they took my car in on priority and had it ready in a few hours. The price, quality of the parts, and excellent service has led me to write this review. I highly recommend this garage to anyone in the area they do great work.
