I scheduled a delivery of a tv from best buy. not only did they not show up, nobody called me to notify me that they were not coming.I rescheduled for today between 7 and 1. It is now 11:45 and I have heard nothing.

I purchased a front load washer from Best Buy. The installers refused to put my dryer back on top of the washer which I understood but they also used the old hoses from my former washer instead of the new ones they brought with them to connect the machine. They also installed the hot and cold water systems backwards so that when I press hot water I get cold and vice versa. I tried calling the service center many times and get the runaround that I have to pay someone to come out and remove the dryer from the washer before they can repair it. I asked if they would pay for this person to come out and do this and they said absolutely not. I would never ever ever buy anything again from Best Buy in Kingston. I think they have terrible customer service and the quality of their service people is reprehensible and shows their lack of training.

Did not have what I needed today 😣. Out of Trac phone cards for minutes for my sisters phone. No soap😲 in the womens bathrooms plus toilet paper rolls are sitting on the back of the toilets😲😲😲. I prefer the Best Buy at Crossgate Mall, however too far to go unless I am shopping at other stores in that area.

Helpful knowledgable staff while buying a laptop for my son. However not worth going to again as they are closing at the end of October 2020. Not much stock to choose from.

Picking up a tv, helpful staff, brought it outside for curbside pickup. Used the app to let them know I was there. All worked great.

While both Representatives at BestBuy Kingston and the Verizon retailer I visited in Saugerties were both knowledgeable, patient, and helpful, I ended up with substantial savings at Best Buy with their upgrade sale price and got the Motorola G-power phone I wanted. Also, there was no additional charge to transfer data and no pressure to buy service plans, etc. It was a win-win for me and I have no complaints.

Fast service, got in and out very quickly. A lot of people came to try and help me even though I didnt really need much help, which I still appreciate. Better to be helped and not needed, then need help and not receive it.

Was offered a $35 gift card if I opened a charge acct with the when I bought my new phone. Was told I could use it to purchase the screen saver I needed was. Got the credit card in the mail in 2 weeks, as I was told I would, but no gift card. Called numerous times to find out where it was, got no help, just trans from one person to another. Went to the store where I got the phone. Was told too bad there is nothing I can do, you needed to purchase the phone on our credit card to get the gift card. If I knew that I would have. This was never said, or explained,. Just youll get your credit card and gift card in the mail was what I was told. I had out the phone on a credit card, I would have used theres if I had been told. I think this was deceptive, and seniors should be aware. If things arent explained by your sales people, that work for you,. How do you think I would know these things?DECEPTIVE PRACTICES JUST TO SELL STUFF!!!

Very good selection and inventory for computer parts and accessories. Help is always available and attentive and knowledgeable. Prices, well price match makes that a non issue.

Went to look for a new cellphone there wasnt really anyone to help me find a new cellphone. One young lady said they didnt have any cellphone that carry boost moble which is not fair to people who can afford the higher payments a monthe boost moble is cheaper a month $35 is what i pay. So i guess ill go some where else

I was surprised to find computer parts in stock here and their prices are as good as the ones from online retailers. I got instant gratification for the same price as having to wait for an online order to arrive. Returning a part is probably just as convenient, but I havent needed to do that.

Have always had a good experience here. Employees are helpful but dont constantly bombard you or hover which is much appreciated.Checking out is fast and they always have a well-stocked inventory so you usually know if they are going to have something youre looking for before you step foot in the door.

It was great. I could not find the turntable stylus I needed. Customer service sent somebody with me to find it. She also checked me out. Quick and easy.

Im not a huge fan of Best Buy in general. The store in Kingston is ok and the staff is very friendly. I think there are better deals elsewhere and the selection at this particular location is pretty thin. Not bad if youre in the area but the one at Crossgates Mall has far more selection.

They have a great selection of electronics and a very helpful staff. It would be nice if they had more shopping carts to use (and smaller ones) that would be easier to maneuver through their crowded aisles. I enjoy going there occasionally but its difficult to spend the time I need without having to sit or have a cart to lean on.

Every time I roll into best buy I talk to another employee here who is super nerdy and absolutely pleasant to be around.Great store!

This is one of the smaller Best Buys so if you are looking for a large selection of something like a camera you wont find it. However, you can order anything Best Buy sells online for store pick up.(You can also have home delivery but if I am not sure about a product I order it for store pickup so I can open and inspect and return all in one trip if needed.) Geek Squad there is helpful as well. Everyone who works there is helpful and polite and there seems to be a very good vibe among them.If you have a membership it is great as you earn points that give you coupons.

They were able to give us a price break, they kept the delivery date and instalation was done properly. Were always happy with Best Buy electronics and appliances purchased at the Kingdom location.

Very understanding staff- helped us through a nightmare warranty issue resulting in crediting back the total price of our purchase 4 years later. Walked out feeling like champs. Thanks again!

Went in fully intending on buying two Samsung watches. But apparently it was too much work for the associate to open the display so we could see how big they looked on our wrists. Verizon got the sale.

Been going here since highschool. Never had any issues or drama from the employees that youd find at other locations. Especially inner city ones. I come for the ease of service.

I bought a samsung 75 tv in this place and the employees was the worst. nothing wrong with the merchandise but when they bring the box outside it was raining and i was trying to cover it with a tarp so the box dont get wet. this two employees just standing there waiting for me to wrap the box instead of helping me. Once they put the box in my truck it wont fit one of the employee said oh well thats how far it goes and left me. Ive been a costumer with bestbuy for decades and this was the worst experience.

Best Buy has no really surprises, it’s a store that you can get DVDs in music computers etc. but don’t attempt to buy a washer or a dryer, refrigerator ect that has nothing to do with the electronics that Best Buy is best for. As for price I do like that they price match Amazon and a couple of other places, that makes them more feasible for local shopping

Didnt really go there to buy anything, just was taking my nephew because there was something he wanted to buy. While he was getting the stuff he wanted, I was just walking around the store and I saw something I hadnt seen before so I asked the salesperson what it was. He not only explain to me what it was, he showed me he carried around one of these little devices also. When he was done I realized it was something I couldnt do without either. It was so nice that he took the time to answer my questions even when he didnt think I was going to buy anything so will I be going back to Best Buy? Yup no doubt about it.

The Geek Squad employees are a great help/resource. They make you feel welcome and are thorough as well as patient. They provide wonderful service.

Another great store to shop in they have all the right parts and wires to put your sound systems and things together staff are well trained in hooking things up for you or explaining how to do it

Video games are in a few other places if they are on sale or big titles. However an associate was VERY helpful. If you are a gamers club unlocked though dont have them price match from store or you wont get your 20% off.

I tried to contact the Kingston best buy 6 times in a row every time I could not get thru and was hung up on. I wanted to see about getting a remote starter with insulation but forget best buy you guys are clearly going down hill and dont need my business. I really appreciate someone picking up and hanging up every time.

This Best Buy is one of very few electronics stores in the area, so its really nice to have it here. Usually well-stocked and well-kept, with friendly and fairly knowledgeable staff. As always, make sure you check for opportunities to price match with Amazon.

Great store and great staff. They have so much stock here so it should be easy to find whatever you are looking for. The other thing I found to be great is that their prices are no longer outrageous. They will price match as well. I saved almost $200 total on a computer mouse, mouse pad, keyboard and gaming headset all on Cyber Monday. The next day the prices went way up. Love great deals and this BestBuy has got great deals.

I purchased a Whirlpool Dryer March 2nd. It was delivered but not hooked up. My plumber came and hooked it up, the motor sounded like a train going through the house, he disconnected it. Due to the pandemic I now have to useless dryers in my hallway. Please help

I assisted my friend on a shopping venture and the store looked like a ghost town. There was 1 attendant at each door, available to ask question and greet customers as they came and left, but absolutely no one over in appliances or gizmos (surround sound, speakers, blue tooth, car stuff)next door. The same cashier had to call for assistance three times, as the only other person with knowledge in the store was trying to help another customer on the opposite side. We waited over 45 minuets to discover, this was not in fact the person who belonged to this department, he was working late and covering for the person we needed. He answered our questions to the best of his ability and told us when the worker we needed would be back, and gave us all contact info needed. The frustrating part is, had we been told the specific person wasnt there to begin with, we would have left and came back another day, instead of waisting 45 minutes standing around aimlessly.

I stopped at the Kingston, NY store to purchase an SD card for my Samsung indoor security camera. I needed assistance in choosing the right one and since Best Buy sold the same model, I thought it would be simple. I brought up the model on the Best Buy web page for the salesman to reference. First he said the didnt sell that model in the store and didnt know if it took an adapter with a micro chip or a standard SD card so he suggested that I be safe and buy the combo. Finally, after coaxing he sighed and looked it up. He acted like I was keeping him from something much more important. I just read an article why Best Buy is successful in the world of Amazon. It was due to the service and guidance they provided. I did not experience this today.

Shop here all the time and all I can say is its great. Everyone is super helpful and they always have what I need.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Ive been shopping at the Kingston location for many years, it doesnt matter what time of day you walk into store, there is never anyone to help . If you have any questions, your better off looking up info on your phone or store computers. This way you will have answers, and correct ones at that. The manager should be proud.

There are always way too many employees doing nothing and when you ask for help they are quite rude. Went purchase a new phone but the girl behind the Sprint counter was so rude, I changed my mind and went to Verizon. But, 3 stars for being open.

Theres always groups of huddled employees yet no one to assist you. They have the front door guys on point every time but after that youre on your own unless you are a chosen person they wish to help.

Love Best Buy this store however is not the greatest. If you know what you are looking for then by all means go in pick it up and walk out. If you need help your phone is going to be your best source of help. On more than one occasion I have searched for help only to be brushed off like an annoyance.

Went there for an item they were showing multiples in stock. They couldnt find it and I had to buy a more expensive version. People were trying and apologetic, I dont blame them.

Excellent and quick service. It used to take me a while to find help but they have gotten better.

I bought an unlocked new Samsung Note 9 - Rachel did a great job in helping me get everything I needed from my old phone and setting up a new SIM card on the Note 9. Highly recommend.

The employees at this best buy constantly make my day. I very rarely have a problem shopping here, and when I do, managers and supervisors appear quickly to help out. And the best part is, they do a good job of remembering me, making all my online purchases and preorders go fast!

Its a best buy. A good selection if not the most complete of electronic and consumer gear, with OK prices. But the store in the Kingston mall had at least one young and especially helpful sales staff.

On the one hand I’m very glad to have any bricks and mortar stores left selling electronics when I need them, in Kingston- thank you Best Buy.On the other hand, the clerk flat out told me there were no generic usb c chargers capable of charging a MacBook Pro on offer... I walked 20 feet and found an insignia branded one for myself, at half the price of the Apple one- and in the same wattage range. It even said on the box that it worked with MBP. I don’t know if the clerk lied so I would spend more, or if he was just very misinformed.

Best Buy in Kingston NY was a great experience. Evin had so much knowledge of the WiFi products. We purchased the Google Nest. Would definitely shop there again.

I called to inquire about a product and I had to wait about 15 minutes before anyone even answered a phone. That’s ridiculous. At least pick up a call and say “can you please hold”. My question took less than 10 seconds to answer with no exaggeration.

My online order was ready quickly and the process to pick it up was easy. The associate was very friendly as well.

Horrible. Went in to purchase a new computer, and the computer sales rep. actually called my wife a b**** on the sales floor in front of other customers. Completely unacceptable. Will never be visiting this store again. Store is probably fine for small purchases, but would recommend against consulting their employees, obviously they could care less.

Really dislike apple products as the iphone 10 has major defects but the rep did reccomend getting rid of it before our warranty runs out b eww cause it will keep breaking. Instead of trying to upsell us anything he gave the reviews and recommended products that had the least amount of defects

Being a technophobe, and not very good with technology I need someone to kind of walk me through things. I have had great success with staff doing just that. The Geek Squad people have also helped when I make errors trying to set technology up. I recommend this store. One issue is that they are sometimes short of staff during busy times or sales. But waiting your turn is something I have learned and it pays off.

Pretty pissed off about a phone purchase. I dont like phones, and I finally cracked down to buy a decent one and take it serious, it was a prepaid boost and the entire thing was picked out for me. Finally, when they were setting it up, they said boost doesnt work in Woodstock, and we cant refund your money ($50) you can contact Boost and maybe they can refund your money. I told them Listen, I just came in here with $200. and now Im walking out with $150 and nothing the guy, although helpful, just said the manager is going to say the same thing, I walked to my car like how the f**k did that happen?????????

They had an Apple tech on site and together Best Buy and he worked to give my wife a very good deal on last years MACBOOK Pro.
