Super helpful; I had an idea of what I wanted and the people there very quickly directed me to the simplest and most obvious option that suits my needs. Highly recommend stopping in to at least check out their wares and talk to the people there! Good vibes.

Really great mom and pop kind of shop. The owner who was working the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable. This place strikes me as a solid starting point for the beginner musician. Not a huge amount of inventory for gigging musicians, but I am sure things come and go. In a world of ebay and Amazons there is definitely something to be said about a place that takes pride in what they do and will give you an honest word from the wise. I would recommend as a first stop on your musical journey.

This is a great local music store to support! They have most of my music needs, and a good selection of guitars and gear. They were very helpful and reasonable when I needed to rent some powered pa speakers to augment my system for an outdoor occasion.

Not your typical music store. Every time I go there I see something Ive never seen before. Very unique selection of equipment ranging from everything you could possibly imagine.In addition, the staff there is always friendly, helpful and informative. Its an experience that no corporate music store can rival.

The folks at Planet Woodstock are simply the best. I regularly bring instruments to them for maintenance (Kris is a genius), and buy supplies and instruments there as well. They are prompt, courteous, and know their stuff.

They are awesome, just go do business with them! I love going there and for sure am not turned off by pushy and or snotty salespeople. I like that a lot when it comes to buying gear.Trust me these guys are the place to shop!

Two over their heads owners, overcharging customers by 50% to 75% for items as simple as guitar picks, guitar straps & used guitars / basses. Their new inventory is limited to 1 or 2 vendors, a key indicator in past / present business practices.The worst part, they treat their customers with the same horrible business practices that has made them nothing more than a used guitar flipper; buying them on the internet & marking them up to sell them at prices above new. Lastly, be very aware of the written warranties & guarantee(s) of any product and/or receipt you purchase; as none will be honored.There are two other small business guitar shops in the Kingston area. Both with more expertise and with the ability to guarantee to warrantee the new product they sell.

Dropped off my sons brand new clarinet to be adjusted and 3 1/2 months later and no one can find it and i cant get a call back no good business.
