For the last two years, Ive driven past this little shop and told myself I need to try that place one day. Today, I finally did. I managed to wake up in time to arrive around 7:30am. No line, which is nice for those last-minute donut runs. A group of regulars were seated at the nearest table enjoying their coffee and conversation. I was delighted to find the donut case still mostly-full, as most shops Ive been to get cleared out before I even get out of bed. A lot of yeast-risen donuts, as well as some of my favorite classics, like the hard-to-find buttermilk bar. I got that and a maple old-fashioned. I took them home to enjoy with my coffee I had already brewed in preparation for the early morning. The maple old-fashioned had that wonderfully crisp outer layer with the soft-as-velvet inside. The buttermilk bar was a little lighter in density and had that crispy exterior thats so perfectly suited to holding up the sweet glaze. Ill be back to try that lemon-filled raised donut!

Delicious! Get there quick or they will be gone! The Apple fritters are like eating an apple pie. The donut holes are like glazed clouds. None of them are too sickly sweet and their all fried to perfection.

Nothing too special. But decent donuts. Limited choices. Would be nice if they had 1/2 dozen special. They do have dozen special but some other places cheaper for what you get.

I have been coming here for over 15 years. They have the best donuts for a great price. The maple bars are my favorite and should be the first donut to virgin taste buds in the donut realm. This is the kind of place to go to when flavors are more important than the looks.

Truly, Michael makes the best and freshest doughnuts. There is a reason people drive out of their way to stop here. A common comment from customers is you just cant find these kind of doughnut shops anymore.

Love this place. The owner is super nice and friendly. The maple bars, chocolate bars and the twists are amazingly soft, melt in your mouth goodness! Of course the other donuts are yummy too!

Donuts are ok. Better than what you find at QFC or Safeway but so so otherwise. Get there early though cause they always run out of the popular items.

I went to get a couple donuts as my son really wanted to have them.. I really wish I had tasted them right there as I wouldn’t have walked away with just 2 donuts.. they are the best donuts I have ever had.. right sweetness, soft and melts in your mouth.. A little tricky to find depending on the direction youre coming from. The gentleman that helped us was very kind and helpful. Inside it was very clean and tidy. And of course, the donuts were top notch!

Doughnuts were not fresh neither did they taste good. Maybe it was this one time but since it was my first time not a great experience overall

Very fresh donuts. Go early for best variety of donuts as they sell out. Which makes sense because these donuts are GOOD! Soft, not too sweet, frosting stays on donuts during transport. Friendly gentlemen at the counter is quick and helpful.

We have been going to Countryside Donuts for over 40 years in both their locations the current one and the old. Their donuts have spoiled us for anybody elses. The current owner Mike is the best.

I had the ham and cheese donut and yes my fault I got here close to 11 and he was out of everything. However it was really good. Does it need to be cleaned up yes but the gentleman was very nice.

Donuts are delicious, the coffee is some of the worst I think Ive ever had (and Im not picky) and the place itself is stuck in the 80s. Theres a gang of older folks who like to spend their mornings here and relive the good old days while complaining about how much the world has turned to sh*t. Kind of cute in a narrow-minded, roll-your-eyes way. In short, come here for donuts only and take them to go!

From the amazing and kind staff (Its one guy but hes so delightful youd be hard pressed not to fall in love with him) this is by far my pick for some amazing quality donuts. I love this place from the bottom of my heart, and they always have outstanding donuts for the price. If you ever find yourself awake when this place opens, do yourself a favor and get some top notch fresh baked donuts.

Delicious doughnuts. I walked away with a dozen doughnuts for around $16 which I thought was a good price. Doughnuts were fresh and delicious, there was no wait, shop was clean (with an excellent eating posted on the door), and there was easy parking out front. I will definitely come back next time I need to pick up doughnuts!

Absolutely the worst donut buying experience I have ever had. So basically, I came in to purchase 3 dozen donuts for a work meeting. I called ahead of time so that they would be ready. I showed up 15 minutes later, and the guy didnt have them ready. I guess thats not a big deal, Ill just be late to my meeting. So he got them together, and when I went to pay, his credit card machine stopped working. I ended up leaving my number for him to call so I could pay over the phone. He ended up calling me and then told me that I couldnt make a payment over the phone that I had to come in. I explained to him that I am very busy and that I wouldnt be able to make it in for a few days. He said Ok, but if you dont pay than I will find other ways of making you pay! Shocked by this half threat, I said Dont worry, Ill make it in to pay. During that time, he had called me over 10 times, and sent somebody to 3 of my work locations asking for me. I was not at work at that time, so I didnt hear about the visits until I came into work and my manger told me. This was very embarrassing and intrusive. I then called his shop and left a message saying that I was willing to pay, but couldnt make it until the end of the week. He then called and shouted at me about how I am not his friend anymore. I said to him calmly, Can I just pay you over the phone? He said yes and so I provided him my card number and everything. He then said that it went through and proceeded to lecture me. I asked him just to not come to my work anymore. 5 minutes later he called me saying that my card didnt work. My guess is that its just his machine again, cause I know that my card is fine. So anyway, this goes without saying, I will NEVER buy a single donut hole from this place, and I would steer anyone else clear from coming to this joke of a donut shop.

Walked in around lunch time. The other review was right about the limited selection but the donut I had was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised. I had a coffee as well- also yummy. Customer service was good, and I expect to visit again!

This is a quiet little donut shop to have a fresh made doughnut and coffee while enjoying the neighborhood. Great place to take a break and relax. The owner is nice person that treats customers like VIPs.Nothing fancy, affordable prices, with simple amenities. Just an old fashioned neighborhood doughnut shop, the way life used to be.

Good basic donuts from a basic donut shop: I enjoyed the plain glazed, chocolate glazed and the cream filled donuts at my recent stops.Beware: they do seem to run out of donuts early (like between 8am and 9am).

This is where you get good donuts! Top pot is ok for dessert cakes shapped like donuts but in the morning this place is best.

Great donuts and perfect coffee. Made fresh in the shop daily. Cake donuts are best on the Eastside.
