This shop is a local go to for pretty much any service you need, especially if youre doing it yourself. I was visiting from out of state and didnt have any of my tools, but needed to replace my brakes.Charlie and Tony are friendly, and very accommodating. They fit me in even though they had a fully booked day. The tools were great, and just as to be expected in any professional shop. They are helpful if you do run into any unforeseen issues. The in-house mechanic was great and answered any basic questions I had.They should be considered for any automotive work you need. Stop paying mechanics that dont care and do the minimum amount of work when you can go the extra steps and do everything right.Check them out, its worth the savings in time and money.

I highly recommend this business to everyone living in the Orlando area. Charlie is very honest with prices and he will do whatever is necessary on your vehicle to get you back on the road.I was initially going to change my brake rotors and pads by myself but I didnt have enough time so I had Charlie and his crew swap out my old parts for the new ones I ordered and they had it done in an hour and a half. I came in for a ac compressor to be installed and they were very nice, they installed it quick and were very professional about it. I was also very adorable and when they were done it was cheaper then I expected.

Charlie was an absolute blessing! I was confident in trusting his word from the second I was able to speak with him on the phone. I needed some pretty intense repairs done to replace my stereo touch screen and piece my whole middle consult back together. Charlie was great with keeping me up to date with the best option, making phone calls and driving to different places to find parts that my car would need. I didn’t have to do much except sit tight, be patient, and trust his process. I’m so thankful I found Charlie and Tony, they were absolutely more than accommodating from the beginning to end. I just want to say i never write reviews and for me to write one says a lot just to start off. So my truck has been a nightmare, one after the next with a ongoing stalling issue. I went to 2 shops a few weeks ago and they turned me down with a broken radiator and a stalling vehicle. Well, if that didnt happen i wouldve never came across Charlie. I had my car towed there and have to say hands down they are very thorough and dont just do bs repairs and send you on your way. Charlie is doing all he can to figure out whats wrong with my car. Its been a mission but he has been working with us trying to get this resolved. Hes very informative and explains everything to a T. I recommend this place and have to say i have never experienced customer service like this, especially from a mechanic shop. Super friendly and the constant communication is awesome. Had to tow in my car, and figure out what we could do with a bad clutch. I called, he looked up a few things and gave me a quick quote. I towed it in, we stayed in touch throughout the whole process and the price, speed and professionalism from Charlie and his staff was a breath of fresh air. Ive used Repair Tech 4 times. Always great work. Im commenting this time for a couple of reasons. When setting up my appointment for front brakes Charlie inquired as to how feeling, knowing that Ive been quite sick earlier. Felt like I was talking with a friend. I ended up running about an hour and half late. Tony jumped right on replacing brakes and rotors. About an hour I told him I needed to get to work soon, should I Uber. He thought he could get it done. Half hour later to late for Uber, Im attempting to reach a manager at work, you know how that goes. Tony hands over the keys, noting unable to test brakes. Got to work just under grace period. Great service Tony!

Ive delt with a lot of mechanics but Charlie is by far the best. The service here was more than professional these guys are honest and fair with work. Something I havent found in an auto mechanic is a long time. I will definitely be coming back to deal with Charlie and his son in the future.

20Aug2021 My second time in this morning. Same level of satisfaction as the first time.My first time in was this morning, it wont be my last. Rented a bay with a 2 post lift for 2 hours. Changed the engine oil and manual transmission fluid with no issues. Very professional, helpful, and an excellent value.

This review is a bit behind but well deserved. Long story but for sure they deserve all five stars. I brought in my vehicle to DitY to perform a long overdue wheel bearing replacement along with replacing brake rotors and pads. My family was in the auto industry. I was a certified mechanic at two dealerships and independent shops. I worked in high performance auto and marine (alcohol, mogas and diesel). I also diagnosed and repaired locomotive diesels. I spent two days in this shop. The service and technical competency could not be more on target. I watched most every encounter with other customers as my situation took place. I had ordered parts online from a nationally known provider using the vehicle VIN - total fail. My CV shaft now out with wrong hubs in hand. The shop is fully equipped and as a DIY customer you are far from on your own when trouble strikes. When I my parts didnt fit the owner Jesus scrambled using updated Mitchell1 system to investigate. He made a zillion phone calls, found then ordered hubs from every parts provider to get the correct parts. There were two transmissions that year and VIN crossover is not 100% in every system even with the transmission tag. The timeline forced me to leave my vehicle overnight. I elected to switch from DIY to full service. The lead mechanic Hector whipped through the rest of the repair pressing bearings and freeing bound splines. Bottom line - the fix is backed by a 2 year nationwide warranty. The parts were better quality than Id ordered (never again). Even with the delays and my screw ups the repair was less than half of dealer cost to do just CVs an no brakes. It was much less than another independent. The DIY service is great - everything you need is at arms reach. The full service was impressive using on online system with manufacturers service info. Finally, the customer service from the shop owner was outstanding. Complete transparency and technical excellence. Finding the hubs took process of elimination most would have blown off. Most shops would have defaulted ordered a dealer part for extra $$. Dont hesitate to use this shop for DIY and full services. Totally disregard the negative reviews.

They won’t go over your budget and work to get done what actually needs done instead of making things up. I went to DitY to work on my personal car and replace the front struts. I had a great time working there. Having a lift was just wonderful, so much more easy to do the work. The owner, who was managing the shop, was extremely helpful during my time there, he loaned me some tools that I was missing and provided guidance. He also helped me to use a professional spring compressor to do my job safely. If you like working on your cars on your own, and don’t have a lift at home, this is a great place to rent one, and receive great friendly service and support (they have all kinds of tools there). They took 3.875 dollars to rebuild my engine and my pick up truck came out worse than it was .had me wating for 3 to 4 months and still dint get the problem fixed and full of excuses. Like im out of town my master mechanic cant find the problem i got to pay him extra to come and check it out and played me for a fool

Spent the day here today working on my own vehicle. A great concept that offers a great service. Tools available for use if you don’t have what you need. Charlie, Rob and Tony were great. Charlie the owner is great, very hands on! I brought my Mitsubishi Montero in for repairs he brought me back in the shop to show me exactly what they had found and other things that should be repaired in the future that werent even related to the oil leak they were fixing. I even got a follow up text 2 days later, I have never gotten follow up from a mechanic in my life!

Hands down the best experience I have ever had with a mechanic. Truly good people, and I wouldnt recommend any other mechanic shop in the area. I rented a bay to do a brake job on my rusty car. It took much longer than expected, and I needed help several times. The crew was incredible. I was treated respectfully, they were incredibly patient and willing to help and teach as I went along with my project. They had every tool that I needed to use and then some. I was able to redo my brakes for one quarter of what the job would have cost elsewhere.

This guys are great, Jr and his team were awesome working in my Car, they were professional showing details while they still working on every needs of the car. Also they treat very very very well people who’s waiting inside the office. Can’t complain, if I can I would give to this place 10 stars.

Came from Orlando because my appt complex won’t let me work on my car. Most shops wouldn’t trust an 18yo to do their thing either. This place loaned me everything I needed to do my BMW coolant system refresh. I rented a bay with a lift (trust me, it’s worth it) and got to work pulling everything out. Whenever I needed something I just asked one of the shop crew and they directed me to it. Got the job done in about an hour and a half and was back on my way. I will definitely be back, knowing my car, so keep one open for me.

Owners are very informative and helpful. You can have work done or schedule to rent a spot to do the work yourself. They have a guy that does tint at a great price as well.

These guys were a life saver. Charlie and Junior and the team were amazing. I am a woman who knows nothing about cars and was so afraid to take it in because you hear stories but I was proven wrong. I have a prius that all of the sudden started making this loud noise when I drove. I took it to one of the chain shops and they had no idea what they were doing so a friend had me take it to Ditys. Charlie and Junior worked so hard to figure out what this strange crazy noise was coming from my car. They called me and kept me in the loop with what was going on every step of the way, super honest guys.They were able to figure it out and fix the problem and they were affordable. Took my Toyota celica Oct 2019. They had it for 10 days as I was going out of the country. I specifically left them my google number which works out of the country as my contact. I didnt get an update until the day before I came back when I contacted them. While I was out they lost my keys. They did obtain a replacement but wasted all that time they had with the car. When I got back I had to get a rental which they did help pay for as they should. Once I got my car back a day later it started smoking, I came back they said the oil and coolant mixed and I need a new engine... huh! I went in for something came out with a car that doesnt run... Should have went somewhere else! I really believe my celica would still be running if I had went somewhere else. 👎👎 I should have told them to forget about the job as soon as I heard them say we lost your keys

My vehicle had an electrical problem that was difficult to diagnose. The electromechanic at DitY found the root cause and implemented the proper corrective action. The manager was sensible and provided reasonable guidance on how to proceed with the minor problems that this older vehicle was experiencing. The diagnosis and corrective action was affordable, executed expeditiously, and totally worth it to regain my peace of mind. I called the morning of when I wanted to bring my car in for an oil change and was offered an appointment for only a few hours later, which was very helpful. Upon arriving I was greeted and taken care of immediately. The service took an average amount of time and the cost was very reasonable. Overall I had a very positive experience and will definitely be returning as needed in the future.

This place saved my vacation. After a spark plug ejected itself and stripped out my head on our way to Disney World I tried to get another shop to fix it but the helicoil wouldnt hold. Faced with a $2000 uhaul rental to get home, or more to ship my van and camper trailer, I turned to DitY to fix it myself. I sourced a used head and Junior busted ass to get his machinist to help me out in a rush. Using a few tools I didnt bring and a nice clean shop to work in, replacing the head was a breeze. Even though I did the job myself, its clear these guys care about their customers. I would recommend them to anyone. I only wish they were local, having lift access would be awesome.

Called this shop and Jr was very helpful and informative about the symptoms with my vehicle. Had it towed to the shop and within an hour they told me the problem and was able to fix it the same day. Had the car up and running for work the next day. Definitely gained a returning customer for future services.

We are new to Florida so finding the right and best mechanic was very important! My car had several issues and taking it to their shop was the best decision! We only encountered one major glitch and that was getting the parts needed as GM was and still is on strike! But JV went above and beyond, found what was needed and got me back on the road! One of the most honest mechanics I’ve ever met in my life. Junior was knowledgeable in diagnosing an Evap system failure after I went to multiple places and wasted tons of money. His price was fair and he is very transparent, unlike my prior experiences of mechanics. I’ll only be going here for any mechanical needs going forward.

Junior is an Army veteran and is a very friendly person who offers a great service at a great price. I used his lift to Do my own fluid changes and maintenance in my genesis coupe. It was easy to get in and they offer loaner tools and advice. I saved over $100 doing it myself versus the dealer. This is a full service repair shop you can truly do it all yourself

Great place! Had to drop the gas tank on my vehicle. The garage made everything soooo much easier. Manager and staff were great and very helpful. Everything was clean. Will for sure come back and recommend this place to family and friends.

I broke down while in town and looked to rent a bay. The staff here are super friendly and knowledgeable. They keep a VERY clean shop and equipment seems to be in excellent condition. The supplied tool kit had everything need and was in great condition as well. If I HAD to complain it would be that I needed to ask for a metric wrench which was not a problem as it was in the tool box in front of my vehicle. IMO then rates are too cheap for what you get which is a rare commodity these days. Thanks for helping a stranded Canadian !!

Good place for your car

I took my BMW in so I could use the lift as I had to replace my Exhaust Manifold and Catalytic Converters as well as replace a hub. There are some extremely hard to reach bolts for this job and it took much longer than expected. They usually close at 2:30 on Staurdays but the guys were nice enough to let me keep on working until I got everything back together, which wasnt until about 8 or 9pm that night. They have a great selection of tools both standard and impact and are very helpful if you run into any issues. i would highly recommend taking your vehicle there if you need somewhere to work on it. Thanks again guys, I really appreciate it!

I couldn’t believe junior wanted to charge me $340 for a battery, in which I mentioned yesterday was only 4 months old, and installing! I am sorry but I was very disappointed to know he was even charging for use his tools! $50 to diagnose, $93 for hour work, “says $136 for battery” and $61 for using his tools lol! Then told me it I need two tires for 109 if I want a warrenty! Then basically called my car garabage by saying, “ I could have wrote an estimate of $1,000 for repairs to your car” also didn’t even call me back yesterday to let me know the update while I called over 10 time last from 2pm -5:30! Horrible customer service. Also left garbage in the front passenger seat and back seat, in handed it right to junior. Also the front hood was not closed properly and the window was left open.

I was able to order parts with their help and given tips, extra hands, and extra tools to complete our job on our car!

The mechanic who served us was very honest. He did very wonderful repairs on my car. Definitely give them a call if you need cars repaired!!!

I was extremely happy to find a garage that would rent me a bay and treat me so well so far from home. This is a nice clean well equipped garage and thats not even the best part, the best part is the kind and knowledgeable staff that works there. I highly recommend using this facility whether you want to do the work yourself or if you want them to do it.

I owe these guys an apology because this review is long overdue. Words cant explain how grateful my family is to these guys . I was 2,000 miles away from home with my family on vacation and had what couldve been a major problem with my car if it wasnt for these guys going above and beyond to fix my car on short notice so I could get home safely. The fact alone that I was from out of town with a hobbling vehicle and they didnt try to rip me off speaks for itself, but that they took the time from a busy afternoon in their shop to get me back on the road was what made this experience amazing. Rented a lift bay from them today.What a friendly bunch of guys, and accommodating.Their hourly rates and tool rentals are extremely fair, and they tooktime to make sure I had everything I needed and knew how tooperate the lift. I cant work on my vehicle in the driveway and have a project car in the garage, so if you are in the same situation I cant recommend this shop enough.

I came from Jersey to help my brother move, he needed some help with his car when we came across JR and his DIY shop. I was impressed with his shop and friendly atmosphere. It is amazing to not have to work on the floor, when you dont have to. Go check this shop out if you are knowledgeable about cars and would like to save money and DIY. Dont be discouraged if you may not entirely know about a particular job you are planning on doing because these guys will happily help out.

The Place to bring your car to service it yourself. If you get stuck, there are expert mechanic on site to help out and recommend solutions. Very happy with the place. Bring a flashlight when you work under the car, it will come in handy and you wont kill you phone battery when using the flashlight App.

I havent had the chance to actually work on my car at the shop yet, but have already had a poor experience just trying to get my car into the shop. I tried last Saturday but they were closed and I didnt find this out until I drove over half an hour across toll roads to find a piece of paper on their door stating family/medical reasons for closing. I understand that things come up, but please update your website and/or voicemail message to relay the information to customers before they drive over to the shop. Today, I called ahead again and was told the shop is about to close at noon but the website explicitly states 2:30 as the closing time. This is very frustrating as it has now been two weekends is row that I have tried to get my car in and have failed.

Very friendly and helpful. They have 3 different types of lifts for cars and light trucks.
