I will not shop for tile or carpet at any other store! The selection at Modern Floorz and Shutters is a lot better than the Big Box Stores. They have selections to fit any budget. Rita and her team were knowledgeable and very helpful as we maked our selections. The final product exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend this store for all your flooring needs!

Rita and her staff at Modern Floorz do an excellent job at turning your vision into reality. We had such good results with our first floor remodeling with wood floors and new baseboards that we moved forward on a full bath remodel.

They have a nice selection of floors. Margaret was very helpful in showing us the different options and working with us to find the perfect combination. We were able to find exactly what we had envisioned. We love how they look in our house! We had some frustrations with the contractor not showing up on time or even not coming at all when promised. Rita and Margaret did apologize and tried to make it right. Hopefully it will not happen again.

Our flooring and bathroom remodel took 3-4 times the amount of time we were told and no one from the store called us to check on our satisfaction during this time, only communicating with the contractor.The sales process was very good but communications with the store owner after that were very poor. She is very sarcastic and difficult to deal with. The contractor told us that he has heard her talk that way with other customers.We noticed our shower drain filter was tarnished in a corner approximately six months after it was installed. When we contacted the store owner about this, she said that we need to hire a cleaning company to better clean our bathroom! We contacted the manufacture who immediately sent us the $10 part but we could not remove the old one as it was apparently not installed correctly. Again, she took no responsibility for this. We had a number of other issues with the quality of workmanship including the shower door not being square, requiring a custom fit, work needing to be redone, etc..If you want poor workmanship, your house in disarray for months instead of weeks, a company that does not stand behind their work and a sharp tongued store owner, this is the place.

I contacted Modern Floorz & Shutters to have custom plantation shutters installed in an interior space in my home. We met with Rita in our home where we explained the project and received a free estimate. Rita found an exact match to our existing shutters, took measurements, and explained that the shutters would be produced by a vendor and ready within two to three weeks. When the shutters were completed and installed we found that they did not fit properly in the space. Rita promptly had the shutters removed and returned to the vendor. As it turns out, the vendor did not follow the measurements that were provided. Rita asked them to remake the shutters and upon final installation they fit perfectly. From start to finish, the project longer than we had expected. However, Rita apologized for our inconvenience and communicated with us during the entire time. We are very pleased with the quality and appearance of our shutters. The price that we paid was much lower than estimates we had received from other companies. I would highly recommend Modern Floorz & Shutters!

I am delighted to provide a review for Modern Floorz & Shutters! I was searching for a long time for the perfect floors and couldnt find the right one. I was waiting to get my car repaired and noticed this business nearby so I stopped in to pass the time and ending up falling in love with the perfect porcelain tile! Not only were they beautiful, but affordable. I also bought the shades for all of our windows. As for the service, Rita was very knowledgeable, thorough and responsive to our needs. I will absolutely highly recommend without question!
