I have had two vehicles tinted here. Everytime I work with the staff the provided great customer service. They always do a phenomenal job and ensure that you are fully informed prior to work beginning. I wanted the best tint and thats exactly what I was provided. Sound Factory tinted the windows on a new car I purchased in 2005. I kept the car for 15 years and the tint was still flawless 15 years later. They tinted windows on another car for me in 2013 and almost 8 years later, tint is still flawless. When I purchased a new car in 2020, needless to say, The Sound Factory was the only place I trust for exceptional, consistent quality. Their work lasts for years and I never had to take any vehicle back for them to fix any tint issues. Zero issues. Absolutely the best.

My original appointment was June 16 2021. I go to the location and was told that they dont have any radios that will fit my car. So they say they will order one and set me another appointment for 2 weeks later. I go to the appointment and they had no clue about why the radio wasnt ordered. So they set another appointment for a couple weeks later. I go again and guess what they still dont have my radio. They tell me to come back again. I totally understand that there is a chip storage and some radios are hard to get but geez. They tell me to come back again next week. Guess what still no radio so I took my business elsewhere. I dont recommend using this business unless you want to wait months and get the run around over and over again. Thank you sound factory for the lost time at work and wasting my time.

I went in to have my front windows and windshield tinted to match the back. They said they could and put tint with a blue hue on the front when you can see it’s yellow hue on the back. I call from the parking lot to ask about them not matching and he tells me to hold on... then hangs up! I walk back in and then he goes back to the back and comes out to tell me there is nothing they can do. I ask why didn’t they tell me they couldn’t match it before doing the job because that isn’t what I wanted. No answer but he can take it off n refund me. So I said please do. Now My Deceased stepfather’s necklace was hanging from my rearview mirror I guess in their anger that they had to take it back off they broke my chain and said nothing. It cannot be fixed or replaced all the way around this is the worst experience ever I will never come back here I will never suggest anyone come back here I have multiple cars and all need tint and I’ll be going somewhere else! Very disappointed!!😡

This was the third place I had went to trying to find a good deal on getting my aftermarket radio replaced in my jeep. The price was great and they ended up installing it right then. I also got two new speakers and they too were installed right then. They did not try and charge me for extras I did not need. The service was great. I will be recommending them and going back.

Worst tint job ever, bubbles everywhere. Waiting the 5 weeks, couldnt get anyone to pick up phone for weeks messages full for months. Went and got an appointment in person, no refunds only store credit. Went to appointment redo driver window and remove the windshield. I was done with the wavy windshield for good. They didnt schedule enough time to remove window. Finally got in this week to get it removed and they left glue all over my window. Ive been told their audio is okay, but after the bull I had to go through ill never do any business with them again. I suggest you dont either, ill pay someone else, and chalk up this worthless gift certificate they gave me for the difference.

Called this place to see if I could get my windows tinted same day. Guy said yes. Drove there and they said they had a bunch of dropoffs, apparently this all happened in the 10 minutes it took me to get there. Get it together guys.

Absolutely the place to take your car to for audio and tint! I’ve been so pleased with the quality of work and knowledge that these guys have. However each time I called they went above and beyond to give me as much information and time as I needed to make my decision. I came here looking for a good sub, a head unit and great service and thats what I got. They customer service was great and the final product is incredible. It is a touch pricey but was well worth it. I couldnt be more happy with everything. Would highly recommend

I bought a head unit tuned out fantastic. I have other vehicles that need audio installed in them. Its just hard to schedule anything at all when they do not answer the phone so they can make appointments. Thats why they get a 4 star.

Beware, at first I was thrilled with the install, then I started having problems with my radio not synching with my satellite module. They claim a replacement radio is not available, but I see them on Amazon. I feel Im getting the brush off and they are just hoping Ill go away. I have been waiting since April to get this fixed, now its August.

Had my front windshield tinted along with a strip added as well as my front windows tinted to match the back. Everyone was beyond helpful and nice. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for their windows to be tinted to go to them.

Absolutely horrible customer service!!! I scheduled an appointment with them 2 weeks in advance. I was told it should take about 2 hours. I show up 15mins before my appointment 1:15p and at 3:24p they had still not even touched my car. When I asked the manager to discount the service for being so far behind, he refused. Absolutely terrible customer service.

I got my windows tinted in my Jaguar and they didnt charge more like other places for high end cars. Amazing very clean job and they explained all the options. I love my new tint!

I showed up with a very specific type of stereo in mind. They went out of the way do not only find it, but you also order it and set it up for next day installation! Definitely professionals and good at what they do!

I don’t see all the fuss, I have had x3 stereos installed by them, as long as you understand it takes time.. I had a amp, radio, cap, subs, speakers, backup camera, tint and lights installed... sure it took a few days, but the car is great.. few glitches here and there, but the meat and bones are in and it looks great... I will continue to bring my cars to this place as it’s like any other install shop I have been too... I have zero complaints...

Been going to The Sound Factory for more years then I can count. Here’s a few reasons why I recommend them to my friends and family; they have a great knowledgeable staff, they are locally owned and operated, they stand behind their work, etc..

I’ve been to 4 or 5 places in Morristown and they turned me down cause they said they couldn’t put the system I wanted in of that caliber, but not the sound factory these guys know what they are doing I recommend this place completely don’t try anywhere else these guys can get done whatever you need I’ll always do business with them, and they treat you like family it’s the place to go no doubt

I had a double din unit installed and when they completed my install, my dash kit did not fit. They tried to tell me that my dash had stretched due to hot weather and it would not install. However when I came in my original unit was in tack and my dash was flush with the radio. They did not attempt to correct the issue and was just going to send me on my way after taking hundreds of dollars. It’s been 2 days now and they still have not fixed my dash. This is unacceptable, I have several transactions of doing business with them and this is the first time they have given poor service. I even asked if they could modify the dash kit so that it would fit better. This is not close to a professional install. I could have installed myself for this kind of result. I am truly unhappy with my purchase and now I am being told that I have to wait 5 days for them to get another dash kit that might not work.

Great people to deal with and they do very good work. I have been dealing with this company for over 20 years and I have never had a problem with their installs, equipment, window tinting or anything. I just had another remote starter installed today on my truck and this is my third one installed over the years with no issues.

Horrible customer service. Told them a NAV system was the most important and really didn’t care about a radio. Went to pick up the truck and a wire was hanging down, no instructions and terrible NAV system.

Sound Factory is a great audio and tinting shop and has great customer service. I use them almost weekly when buying or selling used car audio so both the buyer/seller and I am happy and know they or me are getting a working item. They’re very knowledgeable about true Sound Quality sound systems and I wouldn’t trust any other business as much as them to have my vehicle in they’re possession.

I brought in my 2016 Toyota Tundra to have the LED light bar from the Bull Bar my kids gave me for Fathers Day, wired up. Kelly was absolutely phenomenal in taking care of me.I am very particular about my truck and had lots of questions for Kelly about what he was planning to do and what I was looking to have done. Kelly made sound recommendations (which I solicited) and as it turns out, what I was wanting was not what I should have done; Kelly got every part of the job right!He took just under an hour, and consulted with me along the way. The rest of the staff was courteous and professional as well. I found the waiting area and show room to be clean and attractive, and was surprised to see a great deal of organization in the shop too. Seeing how well one keeps their work space is a pretty good indication of how well theyll treat a Clients vhicle.In the future, I will ask for Kelly by name as he has a fantastic demeanor and I am totally at-ease with him working on my personal vehicles. I plan to bring our work fleet there from now on as well.I could not be happier with my experience. Joe

Would never go back. I called around to different sound stores in town asking about General prices and speaker installation prices. After visiting one that had very high installation prices I called the sound Factory that they said that they install speakers for $49 a pair if you buy them there. I made an appointment to bring my car in to have speakers installed. I called back because he did not ask for my name and he said he hit just put the type of car that I have in there. And that that would be sufficient. So I planned my day around it and I showed up at 1 for my appointment. The men at the sales desk were not friendly or businesslike, they didnt seem to care at all what i was there for. I was the only customer there.When I told him I had an appointment they looked in the computer and said there was nothing in there and that one of the guys must do forgotten to say anything. I asked about prices for speaker systems because nothing is marked.He would not come around from his desk and show me any of the speakers he just looked in his computer and said their cheapest ones that were the same as the Chevy ones would be $49 a pair and that the next option was all the way up to $99. Evidently they carry very few speakers.I asked them about baffles for the speakers and they didnt even know what that was it first. Im not sure how they make their money but judging by their customer service Im surprised they are in business at all

I purchased a remote start from this company with installation. On the way home all my gauges starts to come on and when I parked, the car would not do nothing t all. The remote start was plug and play directly into the ECM and it some home caused my car to send 18 pages of bad codes and drained my battery . Sound factory come out and removed the product but would not get my car back to the way it was brought to them, they said I must to had problems before it came in lol they would not own up to causing the problems to my car . I dont recommend the place if they do not stand to there word and Professionalism.

Came in looking for a line output converter. There was a big guy on the phone and another guy in the back. Stood there over 10 minutes. While standing in line, a guy comes from the back and sets some keys on a shelf for someone who wasnt even in line. Then, when another associate DOES finally come to the front, the guy on the phone hands him saod keys, and the guy behind me steps around me as the associate proceeds to ignore me and serve the other customer. I called yesterday asking about the line output converter and was told the part would be 30$. I saw the one they had on Amazon for 11$ with two day shipping. Terrible first impression as well as pricing.

Great customer service and the tint on my car turned out amazing.

Been dealing with sound factory for over a decade. But. . Went in a few days ago to get a harness so I could install a radio in my truck myself, my explorer takes a special tool to remove the factory radio from the dash. They didnt have the harness I needed in stock but the guy removed my factory radio for free, I even offered to pay them.Then I installed my radio and it wouldnt produce sound. Stopped back by for advice and was informed I had to hookup all the blue wires to provide the factory amp with power again for free. Solid guys and great company.

Ray was a huge help guiding me through the process of outfitting my Wrangler with a new system. He asked me questions about my music tastes and system needs and the result is outstanding. Stopped in today to see Chris. My remote start system was not working in my truck. He pulled it around and 25 minutes later it was fixed and $25 plus tax I was out the door! Awesome customer service and cheap pricing. The guy in the store even showed me around and let me listen to different speakers while I waited.

These guys are AMAZING!!! I work at a Car Audio shop in Greensboro, NC and I got my grandmother a remote start for her vehicle for Christmas. They took care of the installation and did a phenomenal job. The customer service was A1 and my grandmother and grandfather were treated fantastically. They were very professional and even reinstalled the R/S system after the Honda dealership pulled it out because of something that the dealership caused. If you are in the KnoxVegas area and need ANYTHING for your vehicle. THIS IS THE ONLY SHOP TO CONSIDER!!!!!!!!!!! EXTREMELY SATISFIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4/4/2018First off, I would like to say Im not a person that likes to complain. I am fair and honest and by posting this review Im only telling people about my experience here. Let me just say, the people are nice and professional. There were 3 things that happened that ruined my opinion of Sound Factory. I just bought a new car less than a month before I had my subs and amp installed at Sound Factory. For this reason, I SPECIFICALLY asked them not to screw the bass switch into my dash because I didnt want holes in the dash of my brand new car. I told them to use adhesive so I could move it if I needed to. Well, they screwed it into the dash. This was VERY upsetting. Second in addition to that, they left a scratch that was about 4-5 inches long extending out from the switch. Third, they left a big rip on my new steering wheel cover that Id only had for 3 days. There were some minor white scratches on my subs but I understand that can happen. The most upsetting part about this is Ive sent them 2 emails WITH PICTURES addressing the issues and have received no response from them at all. When I first dropped my car off I asked how much installation would be and I was told around $200-215ish followed by No more than $250. When i returned to pick up my car the total cost was $262. After seeing the last and only review until this one, it looks like they are prone to damage. So I caution you before you try this place over others. Your car may take some unwanted damage. And they are in such a hurry around there they dont really listen to what you are telling them. It really pains me to post this but I dont want this to happen to anyone else.

These guys are the go-to for installs. Had some issues in the beginning, but took it back in, they were super helpful, pinpointed the issue, and resolved it with seemingly no hassle. Just left this place, so glad I didnt let them do a retint an new tint, very unprofessional customer service, very rude to talk with an this was the bigger bold headed guy upfront, When I called a week ago I was told 260.00 for EVERYTHING I ASKED 3 TIMES TO MAKE SURE, well needless to say there isnt a 260.00 total, its 3 different totals for 3 diff sets of 3 diff tints which is 9 diff tints, I will ne er recommend this place to anyone a so glad I walked out of this place an didnt have my tint done again I will say very rude an unprofessional, an dont come back at me an say I had thr wrong place like your other 1 star reviews cause I dont, tea is the place at the very end of clinton hwy on the left beside the carlot!! Id give 0 stars if I could!!!

Installation experience was very terrible. Got a headunit, amp, and sub system installed by them back 6 months ago.Why two stars because the guy at the counter was great. The guy I believe that first did install was the owner so I dont really blame him because I know all cars act differently when a stereo system gets installed. Second time going to Sound Factory shouldnt had been that experience at all.Why am I just now doing a review because I just found out the issue. I got no idea about radio systems at all. So for some one like to figure out the fix is sad in its self. They was trying to get me to purchase and new headunit and was trying to tell me my headunit was bad. Well lets just say Im very glad I didnt fall for it and go that route. So if anyone does a Tesla style Headunit please doudle check and make sure all connections are great. All they had to do was run remote wire to a better stable connection. Or maybe they dont like dealing with customers that bring in everything they need to do installation with. They like you to purchase everything with in store. Still trying to figure out how professionals couldnt figure out my issue without resorting to saying bad headunit.

While I waited for my turn, I noticed how they treat each customer that comes in. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable.I had installed the unit myself and there was no i told you so attitude, they just trouble shoot it and in this case it was a bad head unit.Competitive prices, fantastic attitude.

Outstanding service. They had no obligation to help me out but Kelly took his time to find the problem of the distortion and subs cutting in and out. It was a bad connector and he gave me one for free. Then he tuned my head unit to make my system sound 100x better. He really helped me out big time, without even charging me. He didnt have to do that, but he took his time to help someone in need. All of my sound system needs will be done by them for now on. He even talked me out of buying something I didnt need. A very honest, helpful, knowledgeable, and profession shop. Thank you very much Kelly, you made my system so much better, and you did it just for being a nice guy. Thank you. With this company, I have had an audio system installed to me BMW with awesome window tint. I will be bringing my friend by to have his truck sound system upgraded and I will be getting my other vehicles audio done there soon as well. I got the tint done there over 2 years ago, and its still as good as new! Thumbs Up!!

They installed my tint a few years ago. Its held up flawlessly for 6 years. Price was great and it was pretty quick in and out. Would recommend for anyone wanting tint.

Took my Pontiac G6 to SF in June 2014 for full tint + strip. When I went to pick up the strip had not been done even though it was written on the paper (plus it cost an extra $30). The owner Steve was polite about the mistake and apologized. He removed the $30 (of course) and signed my receipt to come back for a FREE strip at my convenience. I work so much it was 11 months later when I brought it back and they still honored it. Tint looks great, havent had any problems with bubbles etc. Listen to them and dont roll your windows down until you are supposed to. I think they try to satisfy their customers. I just took my 2015 Camaro in to have windows tinted and was scared to death of any possible scratches. I inspected it before and after and it is fine and the tint looks great. My husband is having his Equinox tinted as we speak and I expect no problems on that one either. Thats 3 cars with 5 star experience. I would refer all my friends here. Thank you guys!

Have taken several vehicles to them over last 2 years. Not saying everything has gone smooth on every install, but that they are very receptive to fixing any issue that arises. Have great relation with Ray and he knows what I expect. Also understand, if you buy cheap stuff expect it to sound crappy or quit working when you blow it up. Its not the installers fault. Do your homework on products and let the guys suggest depending on your desires for your system.

Staff was really helpful. The employee that I talked to was more interested in trying to sell me what I need instead of trying to make me buy something more expensive.

Had them install a after market rearview camera on my pick up truck. They showed me the flaws in the one I had purchased and offered a much better product. I am very happy with the work they did and the installation.Now trailer hook up is a breeze!

Quality Work.

Called about rear speakers fpr my SUV was told what they would cost to install and what the speakers would cost as was planning on buying them there as well. Told me to come on in and they cpuld do it however i got there and the two people at the counter acted like they.could care less and was told a different price for speakers and install. Will not be doing business here very unprofessional and no customer service skills at all at the front counter level.

Having recently had a rear speaker blow out - and now experiencing what seemed to be a similar sound distortion - I took my car in for what seemed to me likely to be an unavoidable speaker upgrade. Front desk service was friendly, and patient with my limited knowledge of car audio. (Thanks Wayne!) A fellow Tech found disconnected/loose wiring was the problem - and reported this to me with commendable straightforward honesty. Respect! They got my subsequent business on account of this. Doing the right thing doesnt come easy - but it DOES pay. Kudos, gents!

Ive heard good things about this place but unfortunately didnt get the same treatment. Ive went into the store shopping for stereos, amps, etc and felt as if I was bothering them. Also they may actually do really good work but customer service skills doesnt appear to be of interest to the company. The impression I got is that if you dont buy your products here to be installed, we will charge an astronomical inflated fee. I mean over $800 was quoted to install stereo & amp combo with separate fees for nav & backup camera etc.. I just felt as if I was disturbing the installation tech to ask for a quote, when I was instructed to come there to get one. Not to mention I drove 45 min one way. Waste of time, and unfortunately will take my business somewhere more appreciative.
