Friendly cashiers. Clean and well stocked
Why did they quit selling gold peak sweet tea at store 217. The new tea is awful at best! The new “tea machine” evidently caused one of the cappuccino machines to get kicked to the curb which Was another move I do not understand! Halls store still has both, I don’t get it!
Lots of addicts and bums hang around.
I guess good help is hard to find. There’s always a line, three total registers but only one active. During peak hours.Bad management?Trashy. Folks rubbing scratch-offs upon the counter like a country-hick store. Giant line of customers ALLLLLLL around the store, one register out of three actually working. And yet, strangely, there are several employees visible. One smoking outside. One stocking stuff on shelves while literally 13 people are in a line that’s supposed to go quickly. But it’s going slowly. Very. Slowly.I realize this is The South. I realize this is Up North Broadway In Fountain City and whatnot. But surely we can muster even a bare minimum of professionalism?Surely we can manage two or, gosh, even three drawer tills during peak times? It’s 2019. Except in this Pilot where it’s 1965 and inexplicably also down a dirt road near a cornfield. Definitely not right on Broadway. Definitely not 2019.No one wants to see folks smoking with a line out the door. Smoke your little cigarettes during lulls in the pace.Is this new management?
Most of the staff are nice and the store is clean. I dealt with one individual who was a real jerk and seemed clueless, when I was checking out she literally said nothing to me and when I asked for a receipt acted like I was speaking French. When I was leaving, in a very sarcastic tone wished me a nice day. I let it slide cause I’m sure she hates her life, but I never saw her again. I think the biggest downfall are the customers. No one knows what a line is and the parking can be a nightmare. I don’t know why parking in a fire lane is excused at this particular store, but that’s their problem. Also, the panhandling is always at an all time high there. No, I’m not going to use my debit card to give you gas. No, I don’t have spare change for you to catch the bus. One time my husband offered someone some pennies he had and the dude declined. Guess not all money is worth it. Oh and one time we were riding in our Jeep with the doors off and someone stole stuff off our dash. Classy!
Good store. I like pilot gas stations. They have good gas and coffee, and they are usually pretty clean. This one was no different. The only thing is its a pain to get in and out of the parking lot off Broadway.
I purchased a ecig blue from here and it ran out of oil. I stopped to buy a 2 pack refill and Mike a real idiot was complaining he could smell it because I had it in my hand.. lolIt was empty !!! And Ridley asked me to leave and I hadnt even opened the new pack..Mike, needs another job, he is doing you no favors!!!!
Not the best Pilot I have been to. But, they do their best to help and work fast.
