Ordered chicken chili and it was super sour. Lamb was ok and mango lassi was good.. I spent around 50 and I must say this place is below average. Not worth the hype

First time eating Indian food. Im hooked. The weight staff took the time to explain everything. Very friendly and helpful. Spicey goodness and very clean.

Went here for lunch today with some coworkers and got the House Special. The food was overall flavorful and cooked well. The chicken was moist and fell off the bone. We very much enjoyed our experience there.

We ordered Mixed Grill and Lamb Biriyani! None of them were any good! Mixed grill was salty and very dry! It took a long time for food to arrive!

Im super cautious about the ethnic restaurants I eat at, and this was a special occasion, so I was even more worried. Ive had disastrous experiences before. They wouldve gotten 5 stars, but it took a lot longer than reasonable limits to get anyone to ask what we wanted to drink, and because of the smell (ever so light, but unmistakable). That being said, the service after we got our drinks was bend over backward kind of service. Neither my husband nor I had ever tried anything that was in their menu, so we knew this was going to be interesting, and possibly a bad idea, but we were so pleased with everything! The Gobi Chilli is, by far, the best appetizer weve had in years! My husband ordered Curry Chicken, which came with his choice of rice, and heat degree. He chose mid range for the heat and he loved it! I had Tikka Chat. Absolutely delicious! They really surprised us, as we were almost ready to leave, by bringing us a free sample of Gulab Jamun. THAT WAS SO GOOD! If you have the opportunity to try this place, do it, just for the food. Oh, their health score is 95 at the time of our visit. Not too bad. I hope you enjoy!

Small place, I like the decor. Menus are dated and old but they do have a large selection of white people food and actual exotic foods. We got the mixed appetizers besides the samosa and potatoes and falafel we had no idea what we were eating but it was good, the crispy bread they brought was awesome we took some home. The wife got something that is was on special and I got the Chicken Tiki Masala both were good but the Nan was straight fire!

Food was very yummy and service was great! We will definitely be back.

Ok I am absolutely never eating Indian food anywhere else again! I can’t believe the beautiful flavors I’ve been missing from this place! I love how they give you a mild/spicy 1-5 option, because I’m a sissy who loves Indian flavors. Now, I ordered a takeout and kumar took my order and was SO accommodating and sweet! I felt so at peace in this place thanks to him, not to mention how cute he is! But yes if you love Indian food go here!!!

Stopped here on the way to Nashville. Hardly anyone was here but then again its Sunday. I was a bit surprised how long it took to get my entree. I ordered some vegetable samosas and was also served the thin cracker bread. Both appetizers were very good. The star of the meal was the Lamb Korma which was AMAZING, the rice was cooked to perfection and the Korma was so tasty and smooth. The lamb was tender and just melted in my mouth. Totally worth the wait! The garlic naan that I ordered with the meal was fantastic as well. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely come.back here.

My new favorite place to eat! Ive ordered food 2 nights in a row! I have not got food out since the pandemic began. I highly recommend this place as all the workers wear masks and that makes me feel safer to get food there. They take cleanliness and food safety very serious. Service was quick and food was delicious! 😋 All the people I came into contact with were very nice. I cant wait to eat there again!

It was great experience today at buffet. I went towards the end of the buffet time but guys at the restaurant still were welcoming and even order for me fresh naan and grill chicken. They did not make me feel one little that they were bother bu last min customer. Great service testy food delicious flavors or multi dishes. Will go back again. Thank you for great service.

Food here is consistent and tasty. I’m a person that finds a dish/meal i like and typically will stick to it. My go to is the vegetarian Thali because for the price (in my opinion) it’s the most bang for your buck! The food is always wonderfully seasoned and haven’t been disappointed yet. Only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars is because the prices are a little high. Overall, would recommend!

I took my wife and kids there for mothers day. The service was fast and food delicious. We all liked what we ordered. My new top pick for authentic Indian cuisine in the Knoxville area. Im definitely going back but, wish it were closer to where I live so, I could go there more often. I did get full and look forward to the leftovers tomorrow for dinner.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some delicious Indian food. The staff are very courteous and the place is well maintained. A while ago, while we were travelling and in desperate need of food with nothing around to be found on a Sunday evening, these guys helped us out by extending their hours a bit longer even though its their closing time, and we really appreciate their help.

The best restaurant in the town. Lamb Buna is delicious and the chicken soup is a little bit spicy and the naan is good too. They have lots of different plates and appetizers. Definitely recommend it.

I ordered seafood vindaloo, the stew wasnt well cooked at all. I know this because in my plate the water separated from the stew. However, the staff who attended to us was friendly and polite.

This is veg Biryani at this place. Looks and tastes like hybrid of Pongal and veg fried rice. These guys dont know what biryani is. Dont order any biryani dishes here. Not sure if the same incompetence shows up in other dishes.they should takeoff biryanis from their menu. Hate when restaurants add items to the menu just to make it big.

This place is soooo yummy and such amazing customer service everytime! My husband and I get frequent takeout there and its always the same great quality and service! I would highly recommend this place and the portions sizes are so generous your youll definitely have enough for lunch the next day at work which I love!!!

I was expecting a fancier set up but as soon as I tasted their food it became irrelevant. Their dishes are amazing and so delicious. Their customer service was wonderful and we will definitely be back for more. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed.

By far the best indian restaurant in town. We live in the next county and drive all the way out to turkey creek to eat here. Try the fried cauliflower appetizer. Delicious

Nice service in person. Not the most pristine or upscale of establishments. Quick to go. Samosas were hot and fresh. Chicken dishes lacked a depth of flavor and a real tandoori taste. Rice was not up to par with other more authentic Indian restaurants. It was decent quick food.

My whole family enjoys Bombay Palace. The food is awesome. My 9 year old loves the Tandoori chicken, my 12 year old and I love the sag, and hubbys favorite is the vindaloo.

I ordered carryout to take home to Sparta, TN because you cannot find good curry anywhere near Sparta. Everything was fresh, hot and tasted so delicious. They even provided plates and plastic ware and the bag was packed so thoughtfully, nothing leaking or making a mess. The food was still warm when I got home after an hour and a half drive! Yummmm

The staff was so friendly and cooperative, we were on our way for dinner and called them to confirm if they were open and they said yes but we reached late for our family dinner but they still waited and kept open for us, we were impressed by their service. My sister and kids and I stayed for lunch and ordered an appetizer and 4 dishes. They fed us well, served us hand and foot the whole time. I love this place l, although some dishes do taste less authentic, I highly recommend it for a family outing. The kids loved the meat cabobs tandoor style.

Had the house specialty combo. Went with garlic nan. A lot of great food. Especially enjoyed the lamb dish. Lentil soup has a weird texture to me, but really enjoyed the rest. Even include a small rice based dessert. I plan to eat here again.

Just ordered Desi Chicken through Doordash. Got Gravy that is watery or too thin. There is no salt or spice and taste was bland. Looks like Bombay palace took the left over from yesterday and added water to serve customers. You dont have it prepared then be prepared to say NO to the order rather than adulterating with water. You just lost a regular customer today. Would you care to explain? Wish I could give a negative rating here.

I ordered three garlic naan breads along with a goat curry on 2/9/21 through Uber eat. When I opened the packet I was shocked. All the breads were completely burned and I couldn’t eat them. They were looking deep black and I had to throw them. I called them asking for a refund but they refused. The restaurant people are unprofessional. Don’t order anything online from them. I am not going to visit this restaurant in future.

Good food and better for take out than eating in, super slow service, terrible water and sodas . Theyre nice enough people and when you carry out order are happy to sell you half order of sag as a side but if you eat in they act as though youre asking them to break the law!... again 3 stars since food is good. If you want great Indian and very good service, take the drive to Sitar Indian cuisine. Yeah. Its worth the drive!

Are you looking for a place where you can get a little extra protein in your food? Well then this is the place for you.There was a roach in the curry chicken (see picture with roach on fork). When I let the waiter know, he took the plate back to the kitchen. He returned with the explanation of it must have fallen in after we cooked it. Im not sure how this makes it better, but ok.They comped 50% of the meal so I guess that was alright.No intentions on returning.

Ive never ordered from the Bombay menu, but Ive eaten at the buffet several dozen times in the years since the restaurant opened. It can be hard to counsel someone on Indian food because the taste is so unique. However, I can say that if you like the typical Indian buffet, you will probably like Bombay.Indian buffets tend to be less spicy than menu food, so if you arent big on having your mouth burn, you might still give Bombay a shot. The buffet is small, but the variety of options is excellent. There are usually two spinach-based dishes, two chicken-based, two miscellaneous dishes, and several side/appetizer options. The sag (spinach) items are always good and not too spicy for those who are looking for something mild. I usually go for one sag and one chicken, the best of which is chicken curry.Two buffets, a water, and a soda runs around $24 plus tip, which is not bad for the quality. The service is polite and swift with drink refills.The actual restaurant is nicely decorated with typical Indian things - elephants, cultural sites, cities. Some of the furniture is pretty old but everything is in good condition.Overall, Bombay is probably my second favorite Indian restaurant in the Knoxville area and a great conclusion to a morning of shopping at Turkey Creek.

Never order Biryani from this place. They do not know how to cook briyani. They have made a Pulau and added some green chillies and claimed it as a briyani. The chicken and mutton are so bad in the briyani.

This place can soothe your spice buds. Had some paneer dish (cottage cheese in gravy) with garlic naan (Indian bread seasoned with garlic & butter) which tasted authentic. Cheap on your pocket
