They are friendly and have lots of nooks and corners with really healthy plants. It is such a pleasant place to visit. They also have some beautiful orchids, but those are pricey, if not mainstream. One of the best things is that they not only had beautiful standard plants, but they also had some unique things to spruce up my yard!

Shout out to the Ellenburg Landscaping & Nursery. I’m new to owning a house and very new to not killing plants. So far I’ve been successful in killing two bushes at my house and came to this place for advice, to cry a little, and beg for forgiveness. Even though I’m absolutely new to the plant thing I was blunt and they helped me with all my needs. I basically needed something to plant that even I couldn’t kill. Instead of just picking one bush we walked the whole location discussing the different plants, how to take care of them and even thought my college professor would disagree I actual could learn things. We are experimenting with planting my Steeds Japanese Holly and we’ll see if this bad boy can handle my black thumb. They instructed me on how to plant it and take care of it and it sounds as though I might become a master gardener in a few weeks. Follow me for more gardening advice. Oh and for fun I got Dwarf Butterfly Bush!! I want to see them Butterflies YO!

I want to leave 3 stars, but, this place had a great variety of items and lot of items were very well priced… IF you could find any pricing. Most items are not priced individually, and there were many plant areas that didn’t have any pricing signs, and non of them were super noticeable. I was not impressed at all, with customer service. I was never asked if I needed help, and the one employee who was extremely friendly who did help me needed to ask for help. The person checking me out came across as only “I have to be friendly because this is my job” kind of friendly. I visit other area nurseries on a regular basis and had never been to this one, as I do not live in the area, but happened to be around today. I definitely won’t be going out of my way to visit here again. The only reason I didn’t rate this lower is because the plant variety was good, the plants themselves looked great, and pricing on many plants was fair.

I have always had a great experience when I come to Ellenburgs. They have a large variety of plants, shrubs, annuals and perennials. If you live near West Town mall this is the most convenient and best selection. The staff are all very knowledgeable and helpful. I will continue to use Ellenburg for all of my landscaping needs!

Beware there is a no return or refund policy that was not explained to us. They post this policy in small print at the bottom of the sales receipt given to you after the sale. Paid $40.00 for a plant and carefully followed their instructions for the care of the plant prior to planting. After one week, the leaves are turning brown and the flowers are falling off. Just beware.

Great costumer service. We had Ellenburg install 4 trees for us to at West Town Christian Church in honor of our mother. Two of the new trees did not make it through the first winter. I called to arrange to have two new trees installed and they were switched out before even calling us back. They even re-staked the other two trees. We were so thrilled with how responsive they were. Highly recommended.

I came here to look for a few new bonsais and I have to say. Wow. I will definitely be coming back. Every plant was well maintained and healthy. I bought two azaleas, and I have to say. Ive been looking all over Knoxville for specimen like these and I got them for an absolutely insane price.I absolutely will return and recommend them to all my plant loving friends. Very very impressed.

I love this place!! I truly do, but after my last two experiences there I cannot bring myself to return. I feel as if I’m judged by my appearance, I was followed, I was asked if I needed help almost every 2 minutes, I felt completely unwelcome. Otherwise, this is a beautiful nursery, they have a wonderful selection of almost anything you want. I always bought vegetable plants. If you’re in town and looking for a local owned and run shop, this is most definitely the one to check out!

Best nursery we have been to in Knoxville! They have a friendly staff and such a great variety of fruit trees. We bought an orange tree and lemon tree last year, but unfortunately died inside over the winter :/. We will definitely be back to get new fruit trees.

We use this nursery regularly when purchasing plants. Great service and plants. We’ve also used them to design our back yard changes and install plants.

They designed and installed landscaping for us last fall. I gave them a budget amount and they stayed right in it. Excellent service, installed more quickly than originally stated, completed in a day (a long day, but one day) and everything cleaned up. Everything was included in the price quoted. They even transplanted some existing bushes and a tree. Now we can see everything in bloom and its all perfect - excellent company!

I stumbled upon this nursery this spring and have made weekly visits for the past month and a half, purchasing numerous plants to revamp my front and backyard garden. Katie and Scott are always extremely helpful and kind as well as most of the staff. I did have a negative experience with another employee who was disrespectful in regards to my attempt to replace an impatien flower as it had died within hours of purchasing it (which was a rare occurrence. All other shrubs and flowers Ive purchased have been healthy). I was unaware of the No Return policy but that is besides the point. Customer care is everything and this woman stated repeatedly it was my fault, Im responsible, and was very angry at my confusion. When I called to complain she continued to be hateful over the phone. A simple, kind, explanation wouldve sufficed. I enjoy supporting small businesses but for now I will return to purchasing my garden needs from Lowes and check out Stanleys. I do hope the rest of the staff is acknowledged for their hard work and positive attitudes.

These guys are fantastic! They are well organized and stay in budget, which is a big deal for me since Ive been burned in the past. There were no surprises. They did exactly what we agreed upon. Other places Ive used would always change plans in the middle of the job or do extra things that I didnt ask for and it would end up costing me way more money (thousands) then the original budget. There was none of that with these guys. I will only use them from now on!
