My favorite grocery store! Love Simply Organic brand for their quality and prices. Kroger is conveniently located on Kingston pike. Their cake bar is very big with lot of variety and their freshly baked Tuscan bread is just yummy. It is the best place to get birthday flowers, candles and cards too. I usually buy veggies, meat and fresh fruits here. This store is very clean and well maintained.

This is definitely my go-to Kroger in Knoxville, since this is easily the biggest. Their selection is excellent and they are usually stocked up on everything.Parking is a little tough, as the entrance/exit can be confusing with stop signs and traffic lights.Expect to have fairly decently long checkout lines during peak hours. They have 2 sets of self checkout on either end, but these fill up fast. Best times I have found are weekdays in the early afternoon (2pm). While that isn’t convenient for most people working, the next best time is early mornings on Sundays (usually many people are at church, giving you an opportunity to shop without feeling as rushed).

Anyone know what exactly is in the dirt that mushrooms are grown in?Hope whoever buys these sliced mushrooms doesn’t mind the “crappy” taste they add to your food. Of course Kroger just says it’s “earthy”

Used syringes stuffed between items.Ants, trash and open boxes/stolen products everywhere. Shop elsewhere.

The service here is great generally. Confused as to why management would close down the entrance and have people go through the EXIT during COVID later at night. That increases chances of exposure. Rather silly as far as policies goes.

I worship this grocery store. Its gigantic. Its standard quality youd expect from Kroger, but the sheer size of this one means you have a ton of selection.It is very Americanized, so you will not find a lot of specialty ingredients. But for almost 95% of what youll cook in your kitchen, this Kroger carries it, along with their affordable prices.

I love this Kroger but their click list people are spread so thin and with how long it takes them to bring groceries out you might as well just go in the store

Love this store except the butcher section. These guys are extremely rude and miserable all the time. Store would be a 5 if these guys could improve their customer service. The rest of the store is great.

Best kroger Ive been in. They have everything. Employees are friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is great also. My Medications were transfered easy and filled fast. At a great price.

We just moved here and don’t have Kroger on the west coast but we thought we would go try it today, I am so glad we did! The lady who checked us out was so patient with me while I figured out the new (to me) WIC system. They were so kind and helpful. Great customer service.

I go here when I want to get frozen dinners for myself. They have a wide selection, far more than other grocery stores in this west Knoxville area. They especially have many vegetarian options. If you hit it on the right day, these meals are on sale at a good discount. The checkers are very pleasant and helpful. And they always have carts available--thoroughly cleaned and fully charged.

Products often not in stock, getting chicken tenders or fried chicken is a nightmare.I have been going to the store since it opened, and have otherwise enjoyed shopping here. For the last 8 months, product availability has been spotty, but weve gotten used to that...Part of that unavailability ended with us accepting a suggestion to take fried chicken over the chicken tenders we wanted last week. What I got was chicken with plastic pieces all over it from a broken cover to the container, stored tepid, and were cooked 7 hours before receiving them or more. I went back and got it swapped out, and it was horrible, but I chalked it up to a learning experience and ate the cost.Then yesterday I got stuck with old, tepid chicken again. Deli pointed the finger at clicklist and made it sound like they were doing me a favor in coordinating an exchange to-go. I was polite and calm despite my dinner plans being foiled yet again, but was interrupted, transferred to the deli by customer service to figure things out on my own, put on hold, and finally told to call back today to get things worked out. The second time this happened, a week later (yesterday) and I had to call, I got the used-car-salesman pitch by someone in deli about how it was my fault for not coming in or picklist for picking it early... Seven hours early.I agree, Kroger, the blame does indeed lie with me, at least the second time! Shame, shame on me for trying again.

Early morning staff needs to take a later shift if they’re going to be grumpy in the morning. Also, it’s extremely disappointing when you walk in at 7 AM and there’s no cashiers. The only individual that actually was there to help was overlooking the self check out and had a poor attitude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. If this is the type of staff you hire, Myself and my entire company will never spend another dollar in your store. I would rather drive farther to Publix and overpay, then have that kind of service again.

Having worked in and managed a grocery store for many years, I understand that all stores will face challenges. All in all, this Kroger has always provided quality service with a professional attitude, whether it be in-store or pickup service. Marketplace Kroger also carries an abundance of specialty products that other local Krogers do not, such as organic and vegan products. This is the store to order from if you are looking for reasonable prices, quality products, and friendly customer service.

I am very disappointed with the LACK of groceries on the shelves! The Click list employees are clearing out the store and no one is re-stocking the shelves! I literally went back 3 times for the same item and it hasnt been available for over a week! I will shop at a different store and pay more $ just to find what I need. Just a shame because I have been a loyal customer for years.

I typically have no issues with this store, but these last 2 weeks I have been getting expired products. Shame on me for not checking before putting it in my cart, but I feel that shouldn’t usually be an issue. I bought coffee that was expired since JUNE and OCTOBER of 2020, then today as soon as I got home I had bought some cottage cheese that was expired since the 14th of December. I almost bought some pomegranate seeds that’s were expired the 2nd of January. I understand times are different but shouldn’t you be looking at expiration dates and rotating items out so these issues do not arise?

They never have enough registers open and baggers are terribly slow. I used to go to another Kroger in town and they were great. I’m tempted to drive the extra distance to get better service.

I like going to Kroger, however just had the worst customer experience tonight. Richard in the Meat and Seafood department was very unwilling to help. I was the only customer waiting to be helped and he showed no urgency to help and made me sit and wait while he continued to do other side tasks. Once he finally got to me I asked for 1 pound of chicken breast. He said no because he didn’t want to re due his packaging he already did for the evening. So instead of Richard taking care of a customer, he was worried about leaving on time. And I turned and left without buying a single item. Never will I be back at this location, totally unprofessional

Great selection as it is one if the bigger locations in knoxville. Unfortunately the service is -5/10. Do not use the pick up option, and dont try to call customer service because they cant help. Also, why are you always out of milk? Like come on.

Been shopping here since it opened and for the most part my family and I have good experiences with staff as well as stock on shelves. However, the problem weve had is this stores tolerance of vagrants loitering and living around the store. I work close to Cedar Bluff and used to lunch on the patio but unless you bring cash/change to hand out plan on getting cussed and berated while sitting there.Final visit here was tonight.... I watched a guy dismantle an apparently locked electrical outlet (to charge who knows what) at the Redbox while my wife returned movies...

Fresh food fast!

Fuel island attendant was VERY rude. Went out of her way to approach me unexpectedly, did not social distance, all to snarkily inform me that I could not use the windshield squeegee on my headlights even though there is no sign posted. Ive been around the auto industry my whole life, using a squeegee to clean bugs off headlights does no more harm than cleaning bugs off a windshield.

Very sad to see that your company knew of positive covid cases many many days before the public was told. I along with my family will now sadly be taking our shopping needs elsewhere. I hope many others truly understand how heartless this was of Kroger and many other businesses in our area.

I love their selections, the way the store is organized, and the employees. However, Saturday, February 1, 2020, the store was absolutely packed, as usual. There were only 6 lanes opened and 2 baggers! Everyone was bagging their own groceries or waiting for the person checking them out to bag. If every Saturday is like this, why is this store lacking help?

I generally enjoy shopping at this Kroger because of the large selection and decent prices. My main concern though is the people working the hot bar. I quit eating it a few months ago because I felt the man usually worked it was generally unfriendly and on one occasion somewhat unprofessional. I got food from it today and was happy to see the guy that used to work it wasnt there, but another woman who was equally as unfriendly was. No smile, very direct. Very disappointed.

This Krogers has a fantastic selection of everything.

This is a great store. They have a huge variety of things here from food to clothes to jewelry and more. Think Walmart with a better quality feel.

They dont enforce their own mask policy.

Great, friendly staff, excellent selection. Food prices are a little high, but the house/generic brands are top notch and comparable to name-brand products. My daughter loves the free fresh fruit they put out for kids in the produce department.

Clean, great parking, good location. Employees are easy to be found and help you. Polite and well mannered. Offer items other than food. It is a one stop shopping place. Well stocked shelves, items are easy located. Check out line are constantly moving never too long of a wait.

PRICE GOUGING. We needed some of those cheap aluminum roasting pans that everybody uses on Thanksgiving. We grabbed two and when we went to check out, they were EIGHT DOLLARS A PIECE. These are normally $1 or $2 each. Funny how the price increased so much right before Thanksgiving. We left and stopped at Dollar General a mile down the road and the same brand was $1.69 each. Vote with your money, folks. We wont be back at Krogers any time soon.

Purchased milk yesterday at the Kroger Marketplace on Kingston Pike. We were in a rush and didn’t think twice about the date on the milk. Didn’t think I would have grabbed a milk out of the refrigerator one month old!! One month!!I think this is absolutely unacceptable and encourage you all to check the dates.Brought it back. No apologies. Just an even exchange.For the couple of extra dollars I will spend, I will start shopping at Publix.Buyer beware.

Great place during the day awful at night. There is always this fat woman that will follow you around the store I asked for her name once and I think it was ms. Dan . I sometimes come in after I work out at night around 1am or so and she will stalk you! I’m in there all the time and she always just has a bad Attitude. Would not recommend to go in at night with her around

This has been our grocery store since it opened. We enjoy the selection especially the simple truth lines. We also like that we get fuel discounts buying groceries that we have to get already. The fuel pumps on site are easy to get to as well. Was sad to see the bank go, I know it helped a lot of non traditional workers with its late hours.

Loved the store. lots of choices. great meats! had a sale and I picked up several short sets at 60% off. store was clean and well organized. employees were friendly and very helpful.

Miss Cheryl at the self check-out was so helpful! I am 38 weeks pregnant, and an item rang up for the non-sale price. I was willing to walk back to where I got the item to confirm that I had read the sale sticker correctly, but she insisted on taking care of everything for me so I wouldn’t have to do the extra walking. I don’t usually have cashier attendants treat me so courteously even when I’m also toting along my 18 month old daughter at this stage of pregnancy! What a thoughtful employee! This store is generally pretty good, but a few notable, persistent issues have caused it to become much worse over time:They consistently run out of many products and will stay out of them for a week or more. This is especially true of Kroger Brand items, which seems counterintuitive.The curbside pick-up service means that trying to shop is a minefield of employees blocking aisles with massive carts, completely oblivious to anyone trying to shop.The pharmacy is irredeemably terrible (or was before it became Walgreens) for too many reasons to list.The Scan-Bag-Go system is convenient but has serious issues (incorrect prices, register locks up,a etc) on about 40% of transactions, in my experience.Many employees seem utterly irritated to be there, and God forbid you try to get help from them.

Click list is always running late. Routinely I have to wait 40-45 minutes for my order. Last time I tried it I recieved a call telling me my order was running behind after my pick up time had started and I was already at the store. I may continue to shop inside the store, but will not be using their click list, which is currently the only way we shop.

We love this Kroger. We typically rally spend at least 2 hours just looking at everything. And now they have scanners so you just go to the check out and back out. How amazing is that. And digital coupons. I saved $100 today alone.

This is my preferred grocery store. I enjoy the large selection of produce and exotic fruits, such as Kiwano melons, passion fruits, and dragon fruits. The bulk section also offers a decent variety of dry goods, although it could supply more legumes. A main issue I have with the store is the almost nonsensical organization system, although I have become accustomed to it by visiting often. The store has local cakes, a kitchenware section, a toy section, and a Walgreens pharmacy. It is a great place to shop if you don’t mind a little bit of confusion!

Kroger is a great place to find good deals. I love the manager specials. Even though they are near expiration they usually are still good for several days after purchase. their stores have just gotten too big though. I dont want to have to walk through the home decor section to get to milk. Everything is always in a different place then it was before, and it is almost impossible to find the free Friday deals most of the time. This is definitely not a store I shop in if I just want to run in for a quick trip.

The homeless people are a problem at this store. I am tired of hearing about my wife getting accosted in the parking lot from aggressive beggars. Kroger needs to employ security or call the police.

Theyve recently moved everything around in the store, which caused some challenges but now they have some super helpful and nice people waiting around to help people find everything. Gluten free and natural foods are all integrated into the main aisles. Great selection, good prices. We shop here regularly.

I was immediately greeted by a very nice gentleman, who asked me if I needed any assistance. I did, and he quickly brought me over to the gluten free pie crusts, and even got one from the top shelf for me!! Very pleased with my visit here, I wish I had gotten his name to brag on him!!!

This place is awesome. . Starbucks, food court, fresh baked goods, fresh wok & Sushi. 3 isle of healthy food, fresh fruits and vegetables. Cheese shop and gourmet olives by the pound!!! Grind your own almond and peanut butter.

This is by far the best Kroger around. The people that work there always ask you how you are doing, if they can you find anything, and if they can help you get anything out to the car. Good Sushi for a grocer for sure. The cheese people are a delight, as are the meat people, the bakery, etc. Really not a bad thing to say about this place!

So sad with custumer services. We just moved to this area and I didnt know how the digital coupons works after googling I got it went back to ask if I could get my money back or store credit they said NO. disappointment how they treat their custumer!

This is a huge store with an amazing variety of goods. It has a large selection of every kind of food, wonderful produce, many aisles of organic foods, and a good variety of goods from other countries. Like many grocery stores nowadays, it has a pharmacy, a floral department, a bakery, and a deli, but it also has a sushi bar and Starbucks with outdoor seating and a gas station. This may be the best grocery store in Knoxville.

Very bad attitude of the customer service employee. I think they should have more training since the person did not know how to deal with my problem, it is supposed to be customer service, it would be being trained for their position.

Visited this location a couple of times over the weekend. I have to say Ive never seen such a large Kroger. I also have not experienced such great customer service at many other grocery chains. If I visit Knoxville again I will certainly frequent this location.

Clean. Good selection compared to other grocery outlets in the area. You have a larger selection of goods (clothing, personal care products, etc.), but not all of the items that you might find at your regular Kroger, such as natural food items. But you should be able to find everything you need here. So I do recommend shopping here.

Very clean and organized, even in the Sunday rush we well well attended to and impressed.

I love this store, but to not have a register open at 11pm on a Saturday night is ridiculous. People who have $100 worth of groceries to buy shouldn’t have to self check them out (and deal with the frustrating, slow self checkouts) when there are employees right there that could be running a register. If it was 4am Sunday morning, ok maybe. But 11pm on a Saturday night is not an unreasonable time to shop for groceries. Kroger, fix this! I spend thousands of dollars a year at this store....

Great place to shop! Has most items you would actually want and a few others that you dont need but will decide to buy anyway. Recently finished remodeling, so if youre used to the old layout, youve got some relearning to do.

Great fried chicken, very nice staff.And you can make your own duplicate keys, even auto.Love the fresh foods selection here, Im from small town so very fun to me.

Large, clean, same great Kroger you expect. What makes it nice is the addition of clothing and other non-condensing items. Easy to find what youre looking for. Store laid out with last minute or quick needs up front and near self check.

I only gave it 4 stars because I dont like these mega stores. For somebody like me that dies not go to the grocery store often it makes it very difficult to locate what I am looking for. Other than that it was fine.

I come here when I need to go to Petco and I also need groceries because theyre in the same shopping center. Its just as good as any other Kroger. I only gave this store 3 stars because I dont like that employees take their cigarette breaks in front of the store. I hate having to walk through the clouds of smoke to get inside.

The hot bar is awesome and consistent. I try to have salmon once a week and they have the best. I can also count on them for fresh cooked mixed vegetables. The guys and gals working there are always friendly and helpful.

Omg this store is awesome. I work ems and my partner and I like getting sushi on late night transfers and this Kroger store is the bomb. Great choices and we were in and out in a matter of minutes. This is our late night transfer stop. Hits the spot

In general this Kroger is good. I do my usual grocery shopping there. Carrying wine now is a plus. I refuse to use the bakery here...ever again. They completely ruined a special occasion of mine & when I voiced my concern to customer service, I was assured I would be contacted by the Store Manager...which never happened.

The store is large enough that you can get lost in it, but if you get lost in the store its because you wanted to in the first place. Around every corner is something new. The selection is Magnificent. The clothing lines are affordable and stylish.

Least favorite Kroger in Knox. Have had a bad experience every time I go in reminding me of why I never shop at this location. Horrible customer service, and rude employees unwilling to help. Very disappointed, would rate 0 stars if it was an option.

Always has nearly everything I need. It’s larger than the one off middle room and has more deli items and freshly prepared food. Definitely a huge selection and always friendly staff!

Great location however traffic is horrible in the parking lot. Seems that way regardless of time of day.However, the service inside is great and speedy. Customer service is great and friendly.

Good selection of organic produce, fantastic Bakery and never really too crowded. What I would consider a plus personally is a lot of college students go there to shop, not to hard on the eyes...

WOW! This is not your grandmas Kroger. They have everything! Groceries for sure but also hot foods, sushi, Chinese take out, kitchen wares, clothing... A really beautiful and clean store.

This place shut down all real cashiers before 10 PM a lady with a huge biggie waited 10 minutes for a off work employe to find someone to actually ring her up penalized for buying groceries completely B.S. I dont work for Kroger why are they forcing me to ring and bag my own groceries. Unless it changes I will be going to Food City .

They recently expanded their natural food isles and they have a large produce and cheese section. There is a sushi bar with some prepackaged options. Decent beer choices. Much better overall than the Kroger on Middlebrook Pike and Cedar Bluff.

Always very clean. Great staff even late at night. Aisles are very wide and this is good as I frequently use the motorized carts. Food is always fresh. Sushi is better at other Kroger locations.

This is a really nice store and very big selection pool but today when I went there was not a single buggy available. Real downer for such a nice store.

Ive never waited in line here which is a huge plus. This store is enormous however. Not a place to come if you want to get in an out quickly. They do have all kinds of unique items that you cant get at just any old grocery store.

Clean, inexpensive, easy to navigate. Definitely where I go for my groceries, the fresh produce and butcher are a huge pull. Also, I like that all I need is my Kroger card to take advantage of 80% of their sales.
