I love this store. The produce is perfect and I have never had bad food from there. Their already made meals are always good. Great customer service and always a warm feel. Please start selling crumpets and you will be my favorite store ever!

Good selection here. If you go into the Fresh market expecting the volume of goods of Krogers you will be disappointed. If you recognize the Fresh market as a place that stocks more unique, FRESH goods, you will be very pleased.

I LOVE THIS GROCERY STORE!! Ive recently made the move to Knoxville for school and was somewhat worried about where I would get fresh, quality ingredients as I have a sensitive palette. I did some research and tried a few different locations, but once I became aware of Fresh Market, I had to give it a try. When I entered the store I went to the meat and seafood department and was greeted by a bright-eyed employee similar to my age named Michael. We quickly hit off a conversation and he recommended some of the Pastrami. I bought 2.5 pounds for a meatlovers pizza I planned to make and all I can say is...wow. I am now a regular at this location and buy from Michael every time I see him working. What a great grocery store!

I just love the Fresh Market! Ground coffee is delicious- so many options! Meats are of the highest quality and tonight we purchased the already cooked chicken wings, creamy macaroni and cheese for our dinner. The two ladies that served us were outstanding! I highly recommend Fresh Market.

They have the best meat in town. The produce I bought today I was happy with except for the bag of cheeeries. I was told they just got them in so I assumed they were fresh. The cheeries were poor quality for the price. Some were orange, some were wilted and some looked fresh. How this many variations of cherries in one bag leads me to believe they mixed them with older cherries. If I didnt live an hour away I would have returned them. Next time I will take a closer look.

I get my fish, meats & vegetables from here. Have been coming to this location since I was a kid so theres a nostalgic factor as well.Check out the rotisserie chicken meals for days you dont feel like cooking (12.99 on Tuesdays & Sundays is the best meal deal in town in my opinion).

Although a little on the pricy side, The Fresh Market is a wonderful store where you can ALWAYS count on the quality of each and every product they sell. Plus you can find interesting things that you might not be able to find in your normal grocery store.

I ordered the Valentines Day meal (sea bass) from my Knoxville Location. The food was fresh, and delicious, and the service was fast, and friendly. I have long been a devoted fan of fresh market and my latest experience is no exception. Thanks to the staff at Fresh Market in Bearden.

Love going here! Their weekly Little Big Meals are such a bargain and include everything you need to feed 4 people for $20! Amazing. Plus, their meat department, bakery, bulk trail mixes, deli and coffees are always top notch. Parking is convenient and the staff is always helpful. Just don’t forget to get your cart outside before going in! 😉

Not the high end, specialty grocery I was expecting. Produce quality is ok, but not a great selection of local, high quality organic, or seasonal fruits and vegetables. I am also pretty surprised that they do not carry any local dairy (no Cruze Farms, at least?); all dairy here is ultra-pasteurized from big national chains and not very tasty.

I was looking forward to trying the popular Ancient Grain Cranberry Bread but as soon as I opened the bag I knew it was full of rancid sunflower seeds. No, I didnt taste it. I dont eat rancid nuts and seeds.What really gets me is this is The Fresh Market, of all places. Its not OK to sell bad food. Somebody needs to step up quality control.

Very clean nice store. Were picking up good cheese, fancy cupcakes, some fresh fish, and stakes. Service had also been great - wrapping or fish while we like at those stakes. It is a bit pricy, but very it looks like quality.

Let me start by saying, this is the first time Ive ever felt the need to post a negative review. I would rather post positive reviews than to damage the reputation of a business based off of one bad experience, but in this particular instance it seemed that most of the store employees need better training in customer service.I have known about the Fresh Market for quite some time, but never got the chance to check it out. I live in west Knox and always tend to forget about the Bearden location.Today, 12/17/2020 I had the opportunity to swing in and check it out! I was blown away by how well-maintained and put together the store was! However, I was equally shocked and disappointed by the level of customer service that I received!The first encounter was at the deli department; I asked the older lady if they had a certain brand of meat, because I didnt see it displayed. She looked and said, no. So, I asked about a second item and she snapped at me and said, Im helping another customer, I will get to you next!, but there were no other customers at the counter so there was no way for me to have known this.My second bad encounter happened at the meat and sea food. The older gentleman was not friendly, and acted put out by having to assist me. When I thanked him and said have a wonderful day he just ignored me and walked to the back.Lastly, I finally finished my shopping list and and at this point, I was just ready to get out of this store. So, I go to the one register that was open and again, not a cheerful person. I was again made to feel like it was a burden to even have to assist me!Now, I will say there were a couple of employees that went out of their way to ask if I needed help finding things and even guided me to the items. The young man maybe in his early 20s was extremely helpful! In my opinion, the only reason I had a positive experience was because of those few helpful and caring employees, but they were scarce at this store. I will never visit this location again. I will stick to Trader Joes, Publix, and Earth Fare, as I hear its reopening soon.

I ordered a prime rib for christmas dinner. From the start of the phone call, it was quite evident they did not know what they were doing. I repeated my order 3 times and she still got it wrong. I got a call the next day asking for clarification because the order written did not make sense. So again, I repeated my order and explained my experience with the previous rep. I then show up on christmas eve (a week after placing the order) to pick up the meat and they cannot find the order slip. After searching and holding up the line, he said he will just cut one for me anyway. I specifically asked for the bigger end, prime, 6 bone piece of meat. I got one of the ugliest, thinnest cuts of meat instead. Horrible experience, poor cut of meat, and a massive waste of $250.

My first time at this top shelf grocery. I didnt know some of the organic fruit names, but the staff pointed me in the right direction. Had to visit the deli twice to get the hand-sliced cheese.

High end grocery store. Best butcher in Knoxville. Try Cluck&Chuck Tuesdays, specials on boneless chicken breasts and ground chuck. Always impressive selection of steaks, seafood, etc.

Was in the area and knew this fresh market always has a beautiful display in their floral section. When I saw this cute little pumpkin flower bouquet, I just had to get it for around the office! Weve gotten so many compliments already... i should have picked up more of these. smart idea to put pumpkins and flowers.. Hope they make more of these, the lady was super nice too. thx i will be back

When I gave it two stars, I wasn’t allowed to review. Would give it two! Masks required but this past Saturday, two ladies of color were shopping with no masks. Why is this ok? Food ok but bought two beef tenderloin kebabs and they were not tender and full of gristle. Olive bread good. Not much of a go to store but had hopes for meat. Very disappointed!

This store has amazing meat, but is nasty. Ive been to three rivers and whole foods. The steaks at three rivers seem better being more local and grassfed, but turn out to not be as tasty of cuts. Fresh market continues to woo me with all of their meat. They also have pasta that you would find in a local ny shop, which I cannot find that quality at the other local high end grocers. Their selection of other foods is sporadic, and its alot of natural high quality stuff. It does not boast as great of an organic selection as specialty organic markets offer.The main reason I give this place 4 stars is the cleanliness. I have smelled a horrible rotten produce smell multiple times here, THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE STORE! It was really bad the last time I went there, sun Aug 2nd; during the last hour it was open. Its almost a sewage like smell. Plus its a small place with huge ceilings and stuff everywhere! Some of this stuff I feel, is not moved or cleaned under/around enough.

We love shopping here and discovering new things to try!

I absolutely love The Fresh Market. Unfortunately, I dont like cashiers that speak to the people in front of you and the person behind you but never once look up to speak to the person she is actively helping (Julie). Everyone else, especially those folks in the meat department are top notch!

Great upscale Market. Was able to get a fresh turkey breast I have fresh turkeys and had a wonderful butcher shop area great fruit and produce and canned goods and whines and all sorts of things. Definitely will be back there again!

Aside from a really great selection of fresh, organic and naturally sourced foods, the atmosphere here is great.Our family loves to stop by after church and pick up the roasted chicken meal. At $12.99 you cannot find a better deal in town, and its enough to feed our whole family.

By far the best grocer in town. In fact its better than the other one in Farragut. This one for example carries Bubbies pickles and sauerkraut and offers them for less than Kroger or Publix. The bakery, like the other one, is sadly not very accommodating. Quite fresh Golden Roast coffee. Great meat counter (again even better than the one out west) with excellent prime steaks.

Kind of pricey - as you would expect considering the location. They will custom make you sandwiches. They have got nice pastries. They have got a large selection of candies, nuts that you can buy by the ounce or by the pound. They have got gourmet canned goods that you cannot find anywhere else. Overall, a unique selection of grocery items at this grocery store.

Excellent choices but too pricey. Even more expensive than Whole Foods but in fairness, they cant buy in same quantities as bigger stores. They seem to have established their niche market among the top 5 percent of population.

I like the Fresh Market, they stock locally roasted coffee beans which was EXACTLY the thing I was in search of. Beautiful store with a fantastic layout. The deli looked amazing, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good selection of things, a lot of USDA prime meat on sale and ingredients you cant find anywhere else. Decent selection of craft beer too. Wine selection could be better.

Went to get whey protein. They carry the best economical product I have found. Bobs Red Mill is 97% whey protein. No junk. Soy lecithin is the only other ingredient used in making the product. Thats amazing.

The Fresh Market is exactly that a market with fresh vegetables, fruits, pastries and breads. They have a butcher that cuts your meat fresh daily. It is one of my favorite markets in the Knoxville area.

They don’t have a great selection of bottled organic teas but they always have free coffee samples and so many delicious coffee flavors to chose from. They’re of course overpriced, and marketed to boujie upper-class older white people, but if you have some extra change it’s a nice place to get fancy food.

It was kinda dark from the outside but they are definitely open. Very clean & friendly faces.

Fresh Market is less than a mile from my apartment so it is very convenient, the employees they are very friendly and they are very helpful, you dont have to spend a lot of time at checkout they open Heather checkouts when they were busy in the lines become long. I love this place.

Daughter pre-ordered a beef tenderloin yesterday for me to pick up today. It was ready and looked great. In the holiday throes everyone was nice and helpful.
