I have no experience using a firearm but I wanted to familiarize myself with the process of how to handle a firearm safely. I visited Shoot Point Blank and was pleasantly surprised by the courtesy of the staff. I was extremely apprehensive about the process but the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Mark T. was the range safety officer who assisted me and he was absolutely amazing to work with. He was patient, encouraging, and gave me the confidence I needed for being a first timer. I’ll definitely be going back on a regular basis to enhance my skills.

I was grouped with two other of my friend visited the shoot point blank Knoxville, to learn to try out some real world fire arms. We had no experience with firearms but the staffs were very patiently helped us to pick the right one. We had issue due to our inexperience with firearms, but the safety office was able to helped we as beginner to get it safely started. The experience here is memorable for all of us. Its great place for beginners to learn.

McCurdy was knowledgeable and kept the classroom work interesting, and he provided room for discussion. His range instructions were clear and he did everything he could do to insure everyone was successful meeting the requirements.

I attended the Enhanced Concealed Carry class. Very informative and although I have years experience carrying legally in another state, and experienced shooter, I found the class to be helpful, it reminds an experienced person of safety etc and refreshes our minds with the information to make us a better and safer gun owner. I also learned some things as well. I enjoyed the class and though we dont need a permit in Tennessee now, I feel this is a must take class for every gun owner regardless of how experienced you are! Learning and or being reminded never hurts. The instructor was great and fun too, he made the lengthy class enjoyable. Safety must be number one, take the class!

Amazing place! Everyone is very knowledgeable willing to ask any questions you got! Also they offer some amazing classes. I just recently took my enhanced CC class here. The instructor was absolutely amazing and by far the prettiest one ever instructor ever Hahahahahaha😂 I got you covered Ben!!

My wife and I were looking to shoot guns for the first time. The employee at the counter tried to upsale us on everything without explaining what we are paying for. No one taught us anything about firearms, staff in general seemed bothered when asked questions, and we weren’t even told where to go to get to the lane we just paid for. Without any previous knowledge of guns we were handed firearms without any questions answered. This business is NOT for anyone new to guns. Horrible experience and my wife is now more afraid of guns because of it.

Great place to test some guns out and a great place to buy one. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable but didn’t talk down to anyone who was less experienced. Great place to spend your money

Signed up for Basic handgun safety and CC classes. Classes began on time and each instructor was great. Really enjoyed the classes and learned alot!

Had a great class at Shoot Point Blank Knoxville. The instructor was very knowledgeable and outgoing and make the entire day go by better than I thought it would. The store and range are very clean and the lanes are easy to use and have good lighting.

Mc Cordy was great. I took a private lesson with my wife. She was very nervous and Mc cordy was very patient with her. Turns out she did great. Then I took the 8 hour carry enhanced class. Learned more than I expected. Then mc cordy helped make sure I did well in the live fire part. Well done Mc cordy. Glad I went there to purchase my firearm, ammo and lessons.

Visited TN and took my friend to shoot couple of rental firearms. Friendly associates and overall great experience. Despite high ammo prices in the market, it was a fun time. Will come again

When I last reviewed SPBK, it was not a place I would ever use aside from parts. 1 star all the way. Service, Knowledge, the whole 9.For perspective...I have used BudsGunShop, Shoot Point Blank, Crossroads Firearms, BudsGunShop Online, B&B Firearms, Rural King, Craigs Firearms, and about to use Wood Bros out in Halls for a Cerakote on this Old School I brought in. I offer these reviews to my lovely city because I have lived here my whole life. I want to make sure I share my experiences with the good folks of my city. I never would have owned a firearm 3 yrs ago. Unfortunately the world changes. So this is one of my now many experiences. Hope it helps.In the last several months as I have progressed in aptitude and began to expand my horizons...I purchased a Gun Cabinet, as well as visited many times for the range. Tyler whom I understand to be 1 of the Managers replaced that Cabinet the day I bought due to missing parts/exc. NO Problem he says. Huge change in service compared to before.So today I go in with some new/rare equipment. Im very excited...I had some questions about it. Wanted to better understand the firearm...being older. Unfortunately they didnt have any help to offer there, but I had a great time and all the staff were helpful.Before I left I needed to purchase some Syntech Federal, and some new Federal Home Defense. I grabbed it in .40 instead of 9mm. I called and asked for a manager...got Tyler again. My guy. He says Bring it back in, receipt and bag, I got you...we can swap it out. This is the type of service a hometown firing range should have. After all my experiences these last 2 yrs....your help, kindness, and promptness is wonderful to see. I think every person that reads this can agree......things have been, wierd, and stressful for the last 2yrs on top of all everyones regular life stuff. Thank you Shoot Point Blank for turning it around, sincerely.....Thank you. There are folks out here who notice and appreciate you all.P.S. No names....but. The reason I bought .40 on accident is because the individual I spoke with lead me there after I asked for 9mm. I also asked very specifically for Federal Premium Syntech Red. The individual says 9mm? I say yes. He says Mmmmm...no I dont think so hollers at another staff member who confirms his assessment. I go, Oh well. At checkout with my .40 because I didnt look at it either. I see the Federal Premium Syntech Red behind the counter. Hmmmm, maybe address that Tyler. 2 staff members unaware of a well known Caliber and round that was in stock. Not being rude mind you just, I would have spent that money else where had I not seen it, and the shops out money.@Owner- Thank you for the response to my review....and same day posted as well. Horrible customer service, rude staff, very little selection of accessories and an overall bad experience....X3. Yup, 3rd time ive been in there and had a negative experience. 100% do not recomend. There are plenty of other firearms related stores and ranges in the area who ARE friendly and helpful, i would look at themnfirst before spending Ny of your hard earned monet with a company like shoot point blank. Not surprising given that they are a chain company and do not place veryuch emphasis on quality customer service. Hate to write a negative review but after 3 tries, they have utterly failed in this department.

Ive been a member for over a year. I enjoy my regular range time and dont feel like I have to keep an eye on the clock. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. SPB prices are very competitive.

I just want to say that Ryan K provides superb customer service. He was vey helpful in helping me diagnose a problem I was having with my AR not cycling. Not only did he figure out the problem, he fixed it on the spot. That kind of customer service is rare these days.

Staff was friendly, help and well knowledge. They even have a safety patrol guy in the range to make sure you are using the facility properly and if you need anything. Dave was helping with recommendation on ear plugs too.The facility opened in December. Its clean, well organized, has guns to buy and to rent. They have air conditioning in the range, claps to hold the targets inside of tape that doesnt stick right like other places. Theres tables to set out your stuff. Stools to sit on by the table. The bathrooms were even keep clean and tidy.Great location off the highway and easy to find. Went because of a Groupon which worked well and we had no problem redeeming it. Well definitely be coming back.

Really great facility. Clean, well organized, top-notch lanes, and a TON of guns to rent and shoot. I was impressed with the number of women shooting and the staff was very helpful with ladies that were shooting for the first time. The lanes are closely monitored but the staff is nice, even when they have to remind about the rules. A little pricey, but totally worth it for a fun hour or two of shooting. Really surprised they have birthday parties here, but it could be a fun, different party.

Great indoor range. Friendly staff. Easy FFL transfers, even if you’ve bought it from another company via internet. The usual accessories in stock like mags and bags.

The range is so clean and the safety team so helpful. Christopher is a patient, thoughtful teacher if you need any help. A shout out to Sabrina for helping me get the equipment I wanted and to David for his patience helping me decide exactly what that was. I joined the members group and the benefits paid for themselves the first month!

Very informative and friendly. Made a first time purchase seem so much less scary. And returning to practice? The person who was in the range with me was super friendly and didnt make me feel stupid at all when I asked simple questions. So glad I found this place.

I’ve been to a couple gun stores here in Knoxville, but shoot point blank is easily the best! The staff here is always so friendly and willing to help out with anything. Their prices on firearms and ammunition is very competitive and always a great deal. Because of this, I only ever come here as it’s always the best experience.

The class was exactly what is was looking for. Basic Gun training with a fair amount of class and range time. My instructor, Ben, was excellent/expert former military and police. In addition, the number of students was small enough that we each had an opportunity to get some 1-on-1 assistance - proper grip, stance, etc.would highly recommend d this course and location/company.

I came in on Sunday looking for a carry pistol and David helped me out. Due to the pandemic, supply on carry pistols was a little limited, but no nearly as limited as other local shops. I found a FN 503, just released in March so I talked with David and decided to buy. The hole experience was a delight. The shop was clean and in good order. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They offer a discount for veterans which is always appreciated. Shoot point blank is also one of the only class 3 dealers in the area. Ill returning soon.

Great place, friendly RSOs and sales, clean, good for kids to learn at the range. Also very reasonably priced. Great fun and experience for me and my son.

I love the range! As a member and I highly recommend getting a membership, you get a lot of good perks. My favorite is getting range time for pretty much free. I call in and get a block of time and have fun. I get to bring one extra person, which comes in handy as Im teaching my family how to get comfortable around hand guns.

Worthless, they severely under cut on trade in’s and I was told today that they have “suspended” their price matching policies…….lol bunch of money hungry and greedy people. I will never go back and I hope every one around me finds out what kind of business they are running and they go out of business……

I drove by this place few times. Finally stopped in it was so nice but cost alot when most ranges dont charge by the hour where I am from. I was able to get one lane for 1 hour and one target. They had store brand ammo which cost less. I only got to shoot one box and the other box first broke my gun but the gunsmith was able to correct the issue. I got coupons for 2 free hours.

My local Knoxville location is great. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have helped with purchases, range time, and general questions. Has recently been more difficult to get through on the phone due to COVID but this hasnt been the norm. The Range is very nice and range instructors very helpful. The class I attended was professionally run by a very knowledgeable instructor and as a member I generally received great additional assistance.

Sales guy David Bailey, (if we remember his name correctly) was absolutely pompous and condescending in his treatment to both my wife and I today as we went to pick up a purchased firearm. Both my wife and I own, and have owned, multiple firearms over the years. It is unfortunate that the attitude of a single individual can so effectively mar the reputation of an otherwise promising small business. Would be wise for Shoot Point Blank to address this type of poor service directly and efficiently, before this fool causes more long-term damage to the establishment. As of right now, I highly recommend shopping elsewhere....

It is so nice to have a range that is modern, clean, organized, totally safe, with great people to work with on the sales floor and in the bays. I do not take this for granted, for I remember what we had in KNOXVILLE before Shoot Point Blank came to town. EXCELLENT!!!

This is a great indoor range with some minor flaws. they do not have a rifle table lane for zeroing rifles which would be a huge bonus and a possible upsell for people. also a lot of times there will be long lines to check into the range but only 1 person working while the other 5 workers are trying to find something else to do and walk back and forth while looking at the line deciding if they wanna help. Other than those 2 flaws the place is very well kept and clean. the lanes are nice and maintained. wish they had tape dispensers but i bring my own. the employee interaction is always pleasant and the price is reasonable. i would definitely recommend a membership if you go more than 1 once a month.

Beautiful new range, mostly friendly and helpful staff, nice selection of firearms, ammo, and accessories.Unfortunately they expect their customers to allow them to scan your Driver’s License to purchase ammo. When I questioned this the sales associate tried to tell me they had to do so in accordance with state law. This is completely false. State law does require age verification but prescribed no method of verification beyond looking at one’s state issued ID. Scanning my ID captures all info on my driver’s license, information that is private. The “point of sale system” captures that information and creates a customer profile with can be enhanced if you also pay by debit card. That is valuable information that is only collected so it can also be sold.If I am paying you for ammo, it should not be a requirement that I surrender my personal information as a condition of the sale. NEVER GOING BACK TO POINT BLANK while this policy is in action.

I gave them 4 stars because no one, except me and the instructor, (in my class at least) was wearing a mask. I guess thats to be expected at a gun place.My instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful. I just wish he spoke a little slower. I dont hear as fast as I used to.

After a long day at work, sitting through the lecture section of this class for about 3 hours was torture. Any learned useful information was given in less than half the time we were in there. The long anecdotal stories were tough to listen to.

DO NOT buy fire arms from hete the customer service is awful and I bought a brand new gun and it would not fire and would not eject. They had more yet would not do an exchange, a buy back, a refund or a fix and thru al this I paid hundreds of $$$ just to wait months on top of months to wait to get a gun I already paid for. Place is absolutely sorry

Mr. McCurdy was very professional and clear on the details and basics of the process and gave clear instruction on how to properly use, clean, adjust and safty of our firearm. Man deserves a raise.

This staff was top-notch! Considering that the pandemic precautions have been put back into effect, they were very hospitable to some out-of-town customers on vacation that didn’t want to go to another range that rhymes with the word suds. Range instructors were very accommodative with giving me tools to pick up my spent brass. As a person that reloads, this gives them very high marks on my grading system.

THE SINGLE WORST GUN SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. I walked in and not one person said hello, I walked up to the counter to ask a question and the guy just walked away. It’s a beautiful store but who ever was working the day I was there needs to be fired.

Clean, well-ventilated ranges with competent range safety officers; friendly, knowledgable staff, with wide AR and pistol inventory; however, I wish they carried a better variety of more conventional firearms. Overall, highly recommended.

Very clean store. All the firearms are displayed beautifully and the prices for rentals and range time is well worth it. Only problem I had is that when my girlfriend wanted to look at some guns for her and I went in with her, everything was fine and the staff was friendly and helpful. I mentioned that i own a handgun at 18 through a private sale at a and the shorter former sheriff deputy told me that the only way I could legally get the gun was if my parents gifted it to me. 3 staff members joined the conversation and were telling me I wrong and it made my girlfriend very very uncomfortable. The staff is usually very friendly and through this they were polite but the false laws and facts from them and the fact that one of them was a former deputy and everything he said was not true really makes me think how uneducated the police are.

I have been to Shoot Point Blank Knoxville on several occasions to use their range. The range is very clean and well kept. The employees are especially kind and professional. The store itself is very clean with everyone following COVID procedure.

I have called numerous times with no answer. Finally left a message and no one called me. Dug around on the corporate site and submitted a ticket. Got an immediate response from a very rude representative in Cincinnati Ohio. They spent the entire phone conversation defending the branch. They let me know it is there policy to put customers in front of them first and that they did not return my phone call because they have constant customers in front of them and therefore could not return my call. I guess they dont need more customers!!! I will take my business elsewhere.

From the moment you are on the range you feel rushed. The SRO came over and wanted to look at my gun and continued to bring someone else in to look at it for 15+mins for no apparent reason other than asking if it was a certain model and ate away at the hour I paid for. Go to a local run range better prices, better ran, and more welcoming. Would NOT recommend going here.

Their ammo selection was virtually nothing. They didnt even have .22 for the range, and what ammo they did carry was expensive. The first thing I noticed when I pulled in was that the parking lot was almost empty. I suspect its because no one wants to go there.

I shoot there on the regular. They are very nice and accommodating. They have couples day and rent guns before you buy or just to shoot. This place is clean from top to bottom. A place to take your wife or mother. Very good classes on firearms as well!!!

Great place! Decent prices on ammo but a little pricey on the guns. But you will not find a selection of guns anywhere in the Knoxville area as extensive as they have. Good and friendly staff. I have been going ever since they have opened. I like it that range officers have your back watching people and making sure you are safe while you shoot. To me, this is worth the slightly higher price. It is definitely a first class facility. I highly recommend it!
