Top Tier gallery. The place is a hollowed out bank and has a good layout to allow for all of the finest defense gear. VERY reasonable pricing and assortment of the best makes and models. The staff and owners are kind, easy to talk to and go out of their way to assist and inform. The classes offered are well taught and enlightening. I highly recommend this establishment.

Definitely my definition of a gun store. They have a massive inventory of firearms to choose from and more importantly, the staff is super cordial and inviting. Too many gun stores have silver spoons shoved somewhere private and are nothing but walking attitudes. This place is the exact opposite. I will definitely be going back here to spend some of my hard earned money. Thanks SIA!

SIA has handled two firearms transfers for me. Always professional and friendly. The paper form gets the job done, but having an electronic version would be nice. Like may other have state, they have a great selection pistols, ARs, new stuff, used stuff, ammo.

These folks wouldnt sell a long gun (SKS rifle) to an out of stater. The process is simple, just takes a bit longer to call state agencies. So for complete customer experience they only get 2 stars. The variety of firearms and layout of the store was above average. Worth a look, but not if your wanting to give them money and are from outside the area.

Just finished my handgun carry permit class at SIA Firearms. Brian Davis taught the class and he is incredibly knowledgeable about firearms and the laws. Since he is a retired police officer (from Miami Dade county) he knows what it takes to neutralize a dangerous situation. He has many real life scenarios that he shares and teaches common sense methods to protect yourself and your loved ones. I was dreading the full day of classroom instruction but Brians knowledge and humor made the day go by very quickly. I recommend this class to everyone who is interested in carrying a weapon.

I will simply say in this update, that Scott, the owner, and the young lady I spoke with on the phone have gone above and beyond to right a bad situation. I wish to thank them for all of their help, and as stated, I will update this review, with more detail, once we have finished taking care of everything. My sights arrived, as promised. I will be buying from these folks again!

New to shooting. I had trouble with a buffer pin right out of the box on my S&W 15. Everyone was knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. They had me fixed up in short order. The repair gave me time to look around. Really nice selection, with some unique firearms you wouldnt find just anywhere. I have no more than a handful of google reviews, but I was so pleased with S.I.A. that I wanted to let everyone know what a good experience I had, and expect you will have.

A year ago I went into SIA firearms for some gun smithing. After I spoke to Alex about what I needed, I then inquired about a suppressor. One of the members there went through the types and I told him I want one that I could use on my 9mm pistol and he told me At a silencerco that I could use on my 9mm pistol and on rifles. After a year of waiting for my tax stamp to be approved I then went in to pick it up. I filled silencerco for the barrel attachment they told me I could not use it on my pistol and it was only rifles. After hanging up with them I called SIA to find out if this was true the guy at the shop said I could use it on a hand gun and to bring it in. On 1-18-2020 my nephew and I went into SIA firearms to find out silencerco was telling me the truth and that after leaning on them for guidance I was 100% mislead and they were apathetic.

They were already close to and price matched the best deal I could find and have a great selection. Theyre one of the few HK dealers in the area and had exactly the model I was looking for on hand when no one else did. They even held it until the next day for me when I called without even asking them to. Absolutely be going back every time Im looking to pick something up.

Second time I went there. I stood at the front counter for 13 minutes and no one even acknowledged I was there. Even had one employee next to me stamping some papers together and taking about some girl. Will never go back again. Also a customer had a question about training on a gun and the employee told them to call the NRA. How stupid can you get.

Service was pretty good when I was here, friendly people, though a younger guy gave me some strange opinions. Tried to get some gunsmithing work done, guy didnt do what he said he would do. Shop didnt call me back when my stuff was in the store. The store itself is worth 4 stars, but the smith could be a bit more professional.

I had been looking at smaller Closet type safes online and ended up really liking the Browning Line, called several dealers around me and either they did not have it, were not willing to order it or their price was way off! I was about to give up when I called SIA and spoke to Caitlyn they had what I wanted in stock and she took pictures and sent them to me very promptly and answered all my questions. There was several questions she did not have an answer for and she even took the time to call Browning Direct and get me the right answer. I drove down 1.5 hours and they were great to deal with and even helped me load the safe the way I wanted to do it! This is a great place to do business and was a little worried coming from 1.5 hours away but it was a great experience all around. Props to Caitlyn on being professional, friendly and going the extra mile for a customer to ensure it was a great experience! She is DEFINITELY an ASSET to SIA !!

I recently had two separate experiences at SIA: purchasing of a handgun, and trading in a used handgun to help in the purchase of another.During my first visit, I was greeted upon entering and allowed to browse their impressive inventory of new and used guns for a bit before being asked if I needed help. I prefer this versus being immediately approached by a pushy salesman, as it gives me time to decide what to have pulled out from behind the counter, while at the same time acknowledging my presence there. I ended up selecting a hard to find Sig model at a good price from their used handgun section. The associate handed me the typical federal background form to fill out, as well as an in-house waiver about their used handguns (they informed me they do a basic function check, but do not test fire their used guns). Since then, Ive put 200 rounds through the handgun with no FTF, FTE, or general function issues.Having had a pleasant first experience, I brought in a used handgun to trade in. I was greeted by an unoccupied associate as soon as I walked up to the counter. The trade in process took less than 15 minutes. It seems like the female associate in the store (owner or manager, Im guessing) had the final say in the trade in value for my handgun -- which turned out to be very competitive in terms of $s when compared to othe shops in/around Knoxville. In addition to the forms I mentioned previously, they also provided me with a bill of sale/trade for my records (upon request). I have not had a chance to test the second handgun I purchased, but will update the review if I encounter any issues. One suggestion I have for the shop is to have some kind of live online inventory/database to browse (something as simple as a Google spreadsheet would suffice). The website shows pictures of some of their new and used stock, but the best way to find out what they have is to call/go in, which can be somewhat time consuming if you have several guns in mind.Too long; didnt read (TLDR): You can do business at SIA with confidence. They have courteous staff, and impressive inventory for a smaller gun shop. If youre looking to trade-in a firearm, theyll give you a fair and competitive value towards the purchase of another firearm. If youre looking for a firearm, its best to call or visit the shop.

Low Inventory / Poor service!I went looking for a shoulder holster & the salesman says hes low on everything & didnt have any but hed look at the suppliers catalog & order me one. As were trying to find one a dude comes in & apparently theyre old buddies. He totally cuts in front of me & they began BS-ing for several minutes while Im just standing there. As they tell their life stories the salesman as an afterthought says Id just have to check back in a few weeks. He just shooed me away so he could continue his conversation since I wasnt making a big purchase. A gun store is not a good place to lose your temper so I played it cool & quietly left. If this had been anywhere else Id spoke my mind. I did what I shouldve done in the 1st place & ordered one from Amazon. NOT IMPRESSED!

The shop is well stocked and staff is friendly. My biggest gripe is the inflated price for transferring a Class III item (suppressor). Most shops charge about $100 for transferring a suppressor and filling out the Form 4 for the end user. SIA states $100 fee for transferring a Class III item which is pretty in line with other shops. However, if you are already a SilencerShop online customer and have already had your photo and fingerprints taken, then SIA being a SilencerShop affiliated dealer can file your Form 4 electronically through SilencerShop which means you don’t need to go through the hassle of filling out paperwork or getting fingerprinted again. From the SIA side of business, this means that they simply punch in the model number and serial number of the suppressor and attach it to your SilencerShop account and SilencerShop does the rest. Here’s the kicker. SIA charges you as the customer another $40 for the privilege of this service. So, you as the customer pay $140 to transfer a Class III item through SIA even if you never even lay a finger on the SilencerShop kiosk they have in the store.SIA states that SilencerShop charges them $40 to use the service. However, from a customer point of view, that’s double dipping. The fact is, since SilencerShop is doing all the paperwork including submitting the paperwork and your fingerprints to the ATF, SIA is doing nothing more than punching in a few numbers in their computer and holding your item in the back.SIA should be charging $100 total for the service. If you use SilencerShop, they’re doing pretty much all of the work for $40 which means SIA should be content with the $60 remaining for sitting on your item until it clears. To state it another way, if I chose to go the standard route, SIA would have to fill out all the paperwork, get the fingerprints, and mail all that off to the ATF for $100. Instead, for $140, they do almost nothing and get paid the same amount. Since SilencerShop is doing the majority of the work, SIA should not be charging the same as if SIA was doing all the work. It isn’t fair to the customer and it’s overcharging for less work.Lastly, I’ve transferred two suppressors through SIA. The first was a direct purchase from SilencerShop. When I took the suppressor apart after getting it home, it had obviously been used as there was carbon residue and lead in it (rimfire suppressor). I’m not sure who along the line used the suppressor, but I’ve transferred suppressors through other dealers and had some that were pristine and obviously never been used and others that were obviously used. This leads me to believe that some dealers are trying out your suppressor during the 10 months that they’re holding onto it which is unethical.
