Loved Kodiak would have loved to stay longer. The simple life, nice people quiet, great fishing. The base is huge a small town if its own. Great place to visit

This is the largest Coast Guard base it is home to two ships and a air station. It is a isolated command. But dont let that fool you. Its wilderness is beautiful and its adventures unlimited.
