Great place for furniture in Kokomo Indiana!!

Kind of pricey, but decent quality. Not one person working there talked to us or asked if we needed any help.

No sales pitch from workers

Short version. We purchased a new bedroom set from Lucas Furniture, with the understanding that Ken Lucas would do a special finish for us. When I questioned him about the poor workmanship when it was delivered I got yelled at! and told to just return for a refund on two occasions. We were blow away by his temper, outbursts and insults. I tried to speak with Kandi Lucas about our dilemma and she told me “It’s just furniture”. Every piece had to go back to respray the clear coat because it was so poorly done, leaving voided stripes. Some areas had raised woodgrain without any clear coat at all. Not only do we now have 2 different levels of shine on 2 pieces, because Ken changed products in the middle of the job, there is overspray on entire front of dresser. They were very careless when pieces went back and badly damaged 2 drawer edges, chipping veneer on one, and stained the felt lining inside one drawer. There was a THICK layer of sanding dust inside all pieces and all drawers were covered in dust inside and out. Delivery guys helped me clean it all up. We saved up to buy a nice bedroom set for our 45th wedding anniversary and this is what we sadly got from Lucas Furniture. It is hard to believe this kind of workmanship, irrational behavior, non-communication and carelessness is thought acceptable by any business. They have shown no remorse and have repeatedly refused to refund finishing costs. We are very dissatisfied with our experience and would NOT recommend Lucas Furniture to anyone.

Based on their pressure sales alone I wont buy from Lucas. Was asked for my price range so I gave it and then I was directed to something almost $400 over that. And then was treated poorly because I wasnt intrested. So I went to Ashleys and got a better deal on what I actually wanted and was treated respectfully! Pressure sales are the lowest form of sales and I wont buy from anyone who does it!!!

Over priced. You can build your own furniture just like theirs or hire me to build it for you and it would be 80% cheaper and more durable and trustworthy.

Quality furniture. No cheap stuff. They stand behind their furniture. Ken Lucas !

Helpful staff, good selection and a sale plus no sales tax. Great deal, but didnt have what we were looking for.

We had a great experience with this store today! They went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be going back again and again.Sales woman was not pushy, but was always coming our way when we had a question. Our new table didnt end up fitting into our trailer at first but they kept trying even though it was the end of the workday and they likely wanted to get home. Ken (maybe the owner?) and Tyler worked to make it fit by taking the legs off and helped us to make sure the table wouldnt be damaged on the way home.

What a wonderful experience! We werent quite sure what color or size couch to purchase so a consultant from Lucas visited our home to see our living room space and made recommendations from there. Who would have thought that a new couch would transform the way the room looks, but it does! I am so happy with our purchase and appreciative of the help!!

Nice pieces and friendly service

The owner, Ken Lucas, and his salespeople are very attentive and genuinely wanted to assist us in finding the perfect furniture pieces for our home. The delivery guys were on time and had positive attitudes. We buy all our furniture at Lucas Furniture & Mattress.

Very nice store, staff was very helpful, asked what we were looking for took us to a section told us a little bit about the sales they were having and left us to sit in every chair after a while she came back we chose a chair and we looked around no one was pushy and standing over us a great experience

I recently purchased a chair and couch set from Lucas Home Furniture. The salesman on the floor was warm, friendly, and more than helpful in my selection process. When I needed to pick my purchase up, they were more than eager to assist me in loading the furniture onto my trailer. I would definitely recommend Lucas to a friend.

Not pushy they let you shop alone. Once a decision is made they dont try to change your mind or push anything more on to you. Prices and quality are good.

The owner Ken Lucas is very dishonest, has a very bad temper and is very erratic with this thoughts, definitely needs some type of medication and shouldnt be in front of customers. Needless to say we had a very bad experience, and we will not be back in there store to say the least. At first glance he seemed nice, until there was a quality issue with our furniture then we saw a whole new side of him. Do yourself a favor and stay away!!
