A MUST TRY! If youre in the area dont pass this place up. Our go to spot when driving through the Kyle/Buda area.We always love stopping by La Ola Pop Shop! Kids love all the flavors they have. Cotton candy, Bubble Gum, and Cookie Monster are among the many choices they always go for. They have ice cream and popsicles. Theyre fresh fruit popsicles are so delicious. They even have some togo bags to keep your popsicles cold to take some home.The team is always energetic and very inviting! We really love this place! Theres even a little hangout out front for the kids to run around and jump on the turf and concrete obstacles. Dont pass this place! Worth the trip every time!Locally owned and ran by great people.

This is our family spot. Its the one place we can always agree on 🤣. The staff is super friendly and everything is delicious. We like to try all the different flavors and havent found one we couldnt eat. They have ruined Mangonadas for me, in the best way... None other compares.

There’s this one older lady that’s there that’s always rude, but I just try to get someone else, but doesn’t stop me and my boyfriend from getting our favorite banana pudding ice cream and Cookie Monster when we are in town! The owner and his wife deserve so much and are so great! Been coming since their old location and they grew so much! Love this place!

I was so excited to find Paletas made with good ingredients. They did not disappoint. There are so many that I want to try. I also had really delicious corn in a cup. I was impressed at how clean the place was. I will definitely be a regular here.

I’m rating it a 5 star bc the ice cream is good! Unfortunately there is a particular older lady that really kills the vibe for the rest of the other employees so that itself is zero stars. We attend this location for the first time this Saturday 7/21/21, one of our order was incorrect,my son wanted 2 scoops of 2 different ice cream (strawberry vanilla and cotton candy) instead he got chocolate and even when my husband told this older lady that attended and checked us out she gave him an attitude. Instead of saying “I’m sorry for the mixed up order let me get you the correct one” she just said “it’s chocolate”. So my husband told her we didn’t get either the 2 scoop that we paid for or the correct order. So will you be able to fix it? Which she did but with an attitude. So we attended the following day (Sunday) to see if maybe we got a different person or if the lady was having a bad day if we end up getting attended by her. Well my husband is very observant of everything regarding customer service skills wise and he noticed that the same lady that got us the day before was giving out these punching card to all 3 white clients the were ahead of us and bc we were Hispanic she didn’t even offer a card. Mind you we wearing our mask so she didn’t know it was us. It’s unfortunate that we try to support a business and their employees customer services ruins it.

This place is definitely making a name for itself in Kyle. They are constantly reinventing the wheel. New and seasonal flavors, yummy additions like Mexican corn or hot cocoa. Even in the winter, it’s never boring, always delicious! Today we enjoyed whiskey pecan, hypnotic and ginger (yes, both with real liquor), mocha Oreo, banana pudding, and limeade. When we visit, we bring a cooler with ice and load up as it’s an hour drive for us to go back home. Love it!

Every chance we get to stop by we will. My daughter loves this place.

Came here after getting our first vaccine dose at the PAC across the street and couldnt wait to come back after we got our second dose. Love this little gem in Kyle!! Great selection! Our son has dairy allergies and they had an entire cooler that contained no allergens!

Love this place!!Ive heard a lot of good things about La Ola, so I decided to finally make a stop. They did not disappoint.Yums! Yums! Yums!Seriously good! They have fruit cups packed with sweet, spicy goodness! Quite a few flavors of ice cream. And I personally love all the flavors of paletas (popsicles - either with water or milk) - watermelon, coconut, strawberry/banana, pecan, lime, oreo, mango, and SO MANY MORE!!! Ive only been there twice now (in the past 5 days), and its ALL GOOD!Staff is friendly, and very helpful. There are a few tales in there and even a couple out front. Theyre pretty busy regardless of the hour, but they work fast to take care of you. Prices are reasonable. Parking could be better, but its only because its the hidden gem of downtown Kyle! Stop by and give them a try. Im sure youll love them too!

After visiting three times, I thought that I would leave my review. I am never disappointed in the taste of anything I’ve tried. I still have yet to try the fruit pops and the fruit cups (which seem to be bought the most!), but all of their homemade and fresh ice creams that I have tried have been full of flavor and delicious. I can’t forget to mention the prices! They are super low and they definitely make a great business. Try my favorites, Cookie Monster and Birthday Cake. Those are amazing! The mint chocolate chip has been amazing too. You can also sample whatever you’d like before you buy. I recommend this place. Even if you have to travel 40 minutes like I do. ❤️

Customer service is lacking. They poured too much chamoy this time onto the $7 mangonada where I could not taste anything else, so I went to see if they could make the mistake right by kicking me down a $2 popsicle. The girl told me I could scoop around and figure it out. Some of the most unexpected lack of customer service I have experienced. Good thing we are in Texas and the choices for a proper mangonada are plentiful.

This place is hands down the BEST ice cream shop I’ve ever been too! The staff is so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They have a variety of options to choose from and just over all the experience was amazing. Definitely a MUST!

This little shop is nestled in between two great restaurants and provides the perfect dessert to have after dinner or just as a little treat on any day. They have a multitude of different flavors of treats that mostly taste like ice cream, but a bit creamier. The kids love the pops! I highly recommend stopping in on a warm day for a deliciously cold treat.

Absolutely delicious!! I had the coconut and a watermelon pop! And my husband had the birthday cake and vanilla strawberry pops! We live in San Antonio but we will definitely be making some trips to Kyle to enjoy some more pops!!

My girlfriend and I live down the road from their newest location! We absolutely love the ice cream, they have everything from sweet to salty and use real fruits. They have options for everyone too, including cups of ice cream, pints, popsicles, floats, corn in a cup. If you are looking for a nice, family ice cream place, this is definitely the place to go. We will be getting al our ice cream from them from here on out.

Ive only been here a few times as Ive recently discovered it through word of mouth. Every time weve come through the door to enter or leave we receive a welcoming hello/welcome and a thank you/goodbye. I find this very refreshing & unique compared to the customer service from other places. The wide variety of popsicles, icecream & smoothies is fantastic! Its pretty affordable as well & I love that they have the coupon punch card!! All the icecream and popsicles are made by them & not outsourced and some of the ingredients are even locally sourced from my understanding. This is fabulous as locals get to shop local and we (customers) get to show support locally indirectly as well! Its fantastic to have a company like theres here in Kyle, TX that allows me to bring my kids, friends, and family to the heart of downtown beauty of Kyle. They do get very busy so unfortunately due to the size of the shop theres not many places to sit so if you have to eat outside the place I suggest you be a fast eater in this Texas heat 😉 & have plenty of napkins. Im sure it keeps the costs down, so in order to continue offering affordable treats I believe we can all handle the small space 😉. Im excited about this locally owned shop & hope you take a moment to give them a visit.

We have been here a couple of times and have really enjoyed it. Very clean, friendly service and really good ice cream and ices. I had a Mangonada w/ pineapple sorbet. Chunks of fresh mango, a zesty red sauce and the sorbet. It was really good. I had never had anything like that before. My wife had the lime float, which she really enjoyed. This place is worth checking out.

Best mexican paletas that Ive ever tasted!

Delicious! I had the mangonada - sweet spicy and savory. Made with mango sorbet, fresh mango, chamoy and cucumber. Very filling. I eat half then make an adult float with the rest with White Claw or Modelo.

Cute and fun! Very affordable snacks. My only complaint is that there really isnt enough room to stop and have some ice cream with your family. The place was overcrowded and people were standing and eating their ice cream/pops. We almost didnt get a seat by the time we were done and it was a super hot day so we didnt want to go outside and have ice cream melt all over our kids.

Small shop but always friendly. Their popsicles taste fresh everytime. Love the strawberries and vanilla and the coconut popsicle. I wish they had rompope flavor or just a basic vanilla one.

Wonderful! They are only allowing 4 customers in at a time, so Covid safe. We had ice cream—mint chocolate chip, ghiradelli, and something that was coffee ice cream with Oreos and almond slivers. Delish! They are kind of expensive, so be prepared.

Love this place! The ice cream was fresh and had so many different options. My friends loved there corn in a cup, which was spicy! The seating inside is a bit small but its not a large store.

The key lime pie is the best! All the ice cream is amazing however, the key lime pie has my stomach. The staff are very helpful in guiding you to the perfect ice cream match for you. All the ice cream is made fresh and in house.

Julian and his wife may have something here that no other ice cream or shall I say pop shops have. In house made fruit pops a Mexican stable during these hot months the ones you get from the paletta man on the little bicycles for about$2. Get them dipped and drenched in nuts I highly recommend. These are good people in my book and all businesses that succeed start with good people. Im just going to have to say it may be the next Amys ice cream shop that started in the 90s in Austin. The Kelly family started up similar to the way Julian and his wife have done here in Kyle one small shop. I wish them the best of luck to providing smiles to the faces of Kyle and now Buda

My first trip to La Ola was delicious! Very clean and a huge selection of popsicles and ice cream. Popsicles come in both creamy and ice, both were outstanding. They also have a frequent buyer card for an added bonus! If youre in or near Kyle, TX its a must stop! A second and third trip were just as good. The seasonal Baileys with Oreo ice cream was so delicious, another flaver that didnt disappoint.

Lots of flavors and you can taste the homemade style, but their cotton candy just tastes like pink vanilla.

Love this paleta shop! Flavors are always crisp and authentic in their ice cream and fruit based popsicles. Ive tried their corn in a cup which was very delicious.
