Sonic had totally win me over. For most of my life it had been a place of last resort, but now its one of my first choices for quick service, quality food, and a great fast food dining experience. The app is great and convenient and one of the best fast food apps I can rely on for ease, functionality, and reliability. This is a great location that has never disappointed. They provided great service for a late night meal for my large family and did so with a great attitude. Cant thank then enough for the great meal prepared to perfection. Keep up the great work!
Im sitting in the drive thru lane right now. Waited 5 min at the speaker box, even though someone saw me,, she chose to ignore me. So I pull up to window to order. 3 people saw me and kept walking. Been here 8 min after ordering and STILL do not have food.
Well, obviously Sonic isnt a fine dining experience, BUT on a hot summer day their Happy Hour drink specials from 2-4pm is highly appreciated. My standard order is a giant Route 44 soft drink with easy ice. Occasionally adding a salty chili cheese Coney to wash down with the drink is a bonus.Recommended!
The food is good but the place could use a clean up and it always takes along time for the food to come out very slow in the drivethrew
Went at about 8:00 p.m. last night and was told to drive around to drive thru window. All orders were being taken at the window so wait times were crazy. It looked like they only had two people working there. The gentleman was very nice but they are extremely short handed. They need help!!
Wife stopped by there after bringing my sister in law to hospital. Got the order totally wrong. Did know it until she got home. Was one of the best Sonics aroundbut lately ...not good a all.
Waited nearly 30 minutes behind 3 cars. Was told they were out of onion rings and ice cream so i got fries, only to get to window finally and find that they are discontinuing salt and pepper packets! Who sells fries without an option of salt?!?! Nah...i rather go elsewhere from now on. This is the location at FM1764 and Gulf Freeway in La Marque, off of i-45, exit 15.
I visit this location almost every morning during the week to get my daily drink. Carlos, the manager, is the most amazing person. He always greets me with a smile and has my drink ready (I order on the app). He goes above and beyond with customer service. I cannot say enough good things about this sonic all because of Carlos.
Great variety of drinks and desserts. The service was friendly and quick.

Fries tasted like the oil used to cook them and the grilled cheese burger was a soft mess. I should have gone to Whataburger.😕

Carhop Carlos, you deserve a shout out my dude! Fast service, so polite, I couldnt hear over the speaker due to demolition going on next door so he came out to finish taking my order. Then after bringing our food, he doubled back to make sure we were good! P.s. even .y bacon was cooked to perfection 👍
If I had my way the employees at this location would all be fired. If I wanted an attitude with my order I would stay at home and have my kids make it. I had to pull out, I wasnt about to let someone acting like that make my food. Its not the first time, EVERYTIME I go to this location something is off. I highly recommend taking you hard earned money somewhere else.Visit time 5:10pm March 29th.
SLOW service and Cheating on the Wait times! We waited about 10 minutes after ordering when it said ‘Nathan is on his way’ and then waited another 15 minutes (at least) for our food. They’re scanning the tickets as delivered before they’ve actually been delivered to cheat the wait timer so they don’t get in trouble for taking forever. Shady. Sent a note to the franchise operator so they can correct this.Edit: adding a star because they actually added the mints I asked for (but forgot the ketchup)
Houston Sonic’s in general are terrible. They have terrible employees, terrible management and are terrible with theirfood supply. You press the red button nobody answers for minutes, they are always out of something, something is always not working. I would 10/10 not recommend any sonic’s in Houston, as I have been to 7 in the past week and all have been terrible. Someone needs to take over this business and get it right in Houston because what is going on right now is not it.

I always have an issue here but, being that happy hour has been around since before the people working there were even born, didnt think they could get it wrong, guess i was wrong. How are you even able to charge full price during happy hour? also called the number on the receipt and the number is NOT IN SERVICE?! someone call Sonic Corp and let them know this location needs money to pay the phone bill...New Entry: Hate coming here but nowhere closer, love the backwards menus. Told them about it and after a couple days, still hard to read in reverse. this place needs someone who will take their job serious.
Bought a large chilli cheese fry and there was hardly any chilli and cheese also asked for a large mango tea with light ice but when i got the reciept it said extra ice smh
5 minutes to get my order taken, 15 mins waiting on food once I paid. It wasnt even busy. My sandwiches and onion rings were fresh, but my tots were cold and tasted old. Bag ripped down the side too.
They are very fast speaking and rushing you when ordering. The food arrived fast. They are polite.
Ordered online and food was ready when I arrived. Love their lemonade. Chili frito wrap was good. Had the order spot on.
7/26/21 at 3:20 pm the guy working the drive through got my order wrong multiple times kept telling me he didn’t hear me and would have to charge me extra for ever mistake he made which was three different things
They did not take our order. We sat there for 10 minutes. When they took the order of the people that just pulled up we left.

I ordered 2 meals one with a medium chili cheese tot and one with a large cheese tot. I got a medium chili cheese tot with barely any chili or cheese and a medium cheese tot with the littlest amount of cheese possible. They came in one bag sitting straight up rather than laying flat to keep from spilling. I also told the lady I would like ranch as my sauce and didn’t get any. Restaurants today need to remember to take the time to give their customers quality products. I worked at a sonic and it’s not hard to take the extra seconds to grab the right sauce and make sure the order is correct!
Food was cold and the service was poor.
I have been here many times before but this time everything was cold that should have been hot or semi warm. Got two burgers and both were cold and the tots were also. Normally your food at Sonic burns your mouth but nope. We ate maybe 1/4 of the burgers and will just not be back anytime soon. Maybe ice cream would be ok since they cant do warm or hot very well.
Love their Cheese sticks and Happy hour drinks. Quick service also ☺️. This was Texas City location. Wasnt La Marque location hardly ever out that way sorry for mix up. As far as Santa Fe location the African American was really not a friendly person. Refused to let me use there bathroom . I dont understand the concept of not letting people use the outside bathrooms. I too want to stay Safe and Clean over this Covid 19 pandemic. I am a mature woman not someone who will disrespect someones property. Told me it was out of order but while waiting on my order she went in to use the bathroom. I sat and watched her come out of bathroom with paper towel wiping her hands. REALLY, would she treat her own Mom like that?????
One star only so i can submit this review. Definitely not worth going there ever.Just had the worst experience at this sonic. They stopped taking our order half way through. Then got an attitude when we wanted to finish ordering. Got half our order wrong. Attitude the whole time from the dumb broads that work there. Clearly dont care about their job or the customers.
Terrible service. We went there today at about 3:15 pm just to get two drinks. The girl taking the order repeated it back incorrectly, twice. Then just disappeared, seriously disappeared. We drove up to the window to see maybe if she had had a technical issue and could see no one and no one would come to the window. Looks like we wont be coming here again.
We live right across the street from this Sonic.. obviously we dont want to go back but we think hey why not. Its right across the street from our house every single time they take hours for one order 🥱🤣
Our food was made perfectly and tasted amazing. Customer service was excellent. My carhop was extremely polite. Thank you so much. Best service I have had in awhile. A added bonus was a roll of toiletpaper. I dont know what has happened to this location but, its the worst from my last review. Management to the workers they are the worst.
Always Disappointed. Every time I come here they let me down. I should know better by now but it’s the most convenient one to my house.Learn to take down signs for things you no longer offer. 🙄
February 18 2021 Ordered two #1 Two Cheeseburgers with Tator Tot and with medium Drinks. They told me they did not have any Drinks. But still charged full price. They should have taken some off since they could not deliver the full order.😕

Employees were running around playing or I dont know what. We pulled in pushed the button and waited 5 minutes but no one came on. We then went to the drive thru and waited 5 minutes or more before the girl came on to take the order. Halfway through our order she said hold on hold on...we could see from the window that a male came up to her and they both disappeared out of sight. We waited and waited she never came back. We pulled forward to the window and out of a corner a male peeks his head out to look around and quickly hides away from view. It was all very strange. There were people pulling into place order but driving away since no one would take the order. After 10 more waisted minutes we just left.
DO NO GET FOOD HERE!!!!! GROSS AND THEY DONT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK WHEN YOU COMPLAIN!!! I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!!!

Family of 5 stopped for a snack and drink. They were very slow to take the order with minimal amount of patrons here. They were out of the new big red. After waiting a considerable amount of time for food and drinks to finally arrive. We received 4 drinks with very little to NO ice. When I asked the response was they are low on ice!.. I would NOT have spent 10$ on fountain drinks with no ice! Thanks for wasting time and money, over to Whataburger we go!
Worst sonic experience I Have ever had. Ordered a certain burger was given another one. had to wait while they fixed and all the ice cream we ordered melted before I even made it home. Food was cold by this time. They up charged my kids drink to a medium and charged me a dollar more and I asked why they said that they always do that. I didn’t ask to be up charged. I wanted a small drink for my CHILD which is why I ordered a CHILDS MEAL. She just shut the window instead of fixing it. All of the burgers that I asked for mayonnaise and cheese on (which is on the receipt) were just meat and bread. I asked for no onions and there were onions. Overall horrible experience.
The slowest ever. Ive been here 20 min. and STILL havent gotten the one item I ordered, a medium rootbeer.
After a 15 minute wait our cheese sticks arrived cold and stale without the drink we ordered.
Food was fast, hot and good.
We pulled up to the drive-through. The attendant says, “one moment please” and I respond with, “no problem”. We then proceed to sit there for a good 10-12 minutes waiting for the attendant to respond and we still get nothing. The order screen then starts to shut down and turn off. We then see multiple employees peek out the drive-through window and still no response. Literally told us to wait and then closed. Worst experience I’ve ever had at sonic in my life. -10 stars.

The staff was nice and were quick to help us and got our food out to us in a timely manner, but the cook that was there on Tuesday 8/20 was atrocious. Our meals tasted old and got my boyfriend violently sick before we even made it home. We may come back for ice cream in the future, but not much else, Im sad to say. I dont recommend anything other than their desserts, which are never disappointing.(Wanted to add that our carhop Courtney was very sweet and provided good service)

Had a horrible experience during the time of me trying to order. I never got a response I was there for at least 20min. I even moved to different stalls in the time of trying to get my order taken. Service was not fast enough drove out to another location.
Love sonic Hamburger and fries. They are always hot and I love there drinks special with cush ice.

Quick easy and affordable
I ordered a large snickers sonic blast. So excited about all the candy... well it NEVER showed up. They literally gave me a 32 oz cup of soft serve vanilla ice cream! There was a tiny sprinkle of candy on top ONLY for nearly 7 bucks!

We sat at the order bay next to another customer for 20 min and still hasn’t taken our order. FINALLY the lady took the persons order beside us. We though, yay finally our turn! Nope waited 5 more minutes and left. We’ll never go back. If I could give it zero stars I would.
People were super unprofessional. They were laughing and cussing in the drive thur and very rude every time they handed a drink or anything they acted like I was inconvenience them. To top it off the burger was cold and the whole order was wrong the things I said no tomato’s on had tomato’s. Definitely won’t ever stop there again.
Well came last night when they were “open” and we could not be served in a stall or drivethru. Came again this morning when they were “open” to find out they wouldn’t serve their customers again. Don’t waste your time on this run down ghetto sonic.

Rude, didn’t give me my change, had an attitude when I corrected her that we had a large drink not small and then both my daughter and I spit the drinks out they tasted like pool water. She had a water I had a cherry limeade. That was the whole order. Got it wrong, attitude then don’t know what that disgusting liquid was but we poured them out and went to Bucee where we should have gone to begin with. Had there not been an egregious amount of attitude from the big black chick at the window I’d have not posted at all but she was too much and shouldn’t be working the window.

AFTER ALL THEM ISSUES THEY REFUSED TO TAKE OUR MONEY BECAUSE ALL WE HAD WAS 100 DOLLAR BILL. WHAT RESTAURANT REFUSES MONEY.

Went to another Sonic first and they were closed, although it was past the open time. I called one closer to my house and not only were they open, the employee I spoke with assured me that she would have my order ready when I got there. I really appreciate her initiative and going out of her way to provide the best possible customer service. Thanks again!
Great customer service! After unsuccessfully wrestling with the app for 20 minutes trying to save a nominal amount of money, the very nice manager discounted my cherry limeade like the app was supposed to do... Thank you, Armani!

If you give them room to mess up they certainly aim to please. They have on multiple occasions put the wrong toppings on my orders and served soggy cold fries. The only reason to go to this store is if you want to be served up some luke cold dissapointment.
The assistant manager steals from the company. They allow their kids sick inside the store and they put their nasty hands inside the ice bin. Very disrespectful. But nothing gets done about it because the Manager and her are best friends so she doesnt care:. Also . saw a rat outside in the window seal

Asked her why and explained how it is unsanitary, Danielle stated that she just didnt have time and she is more worried about herself than the public. I will be escalating this up the managerial ladder. Unacceptable !!!!!
Showed up 20min until closing time and they would not serve us. Could not even tell us they already closed. First let us sit at the parking spot for 5 min punching the button, one finally walked out to go to the bathroom trying to ignore us and I ask if they where closed she said no but you have to go through the drive through. We drove up to the drive through and waited 2 or three min. with no responce so finally pulled off at 9:50 and resorted to waffle house🙁 POOR MANAGEMENT!!!Sorry even worse, they did not close till midnight. Someone needs to report this restaurant to corporate!!
