Jim has been the mechanic for me and everyone else in my extended family for years. The most important thing I can tell you about him is that I trust him. You know how you sometimes get that feeling with mechanics that maybe your getting bamboozled? I don’t get that with him. It always feels like he is making the same suggestions for my car that he would for someone in his own family or for his own car. When something can wait, he says so, he even says about how long it can wait. I have had many, many mechanics in my life but only two or three that I really trusted. Jim is one of them.

I have lived in La Mesa for five years, i needed to get my car serviced. I asked my nephew if he knew about a good mechanic, he has lived here much longer... He recommended La Mesa Motor Clinic, I took my car in and they were very polite and friendly, they did the service and did a great job! I was a mechanic for 35 years and a service writer for ten. When my car was done he gave me my keys. I was waiting for the pressure sale... but he just told me to get my breaks checked in a few months, Great guy!! Now all my family goes to La Mesa Motor Clinic!

I trust this place with all my car issues. Great service at fair prices; what more can you ask for? I stopped going to the dealership as soon as I found this place and I will never go back. The owner here knows more about my Prius that they did at Toyota and, unlike the dealership, he does not try to hustle you out of more money with unnecessary repairs. The best!!!
