A phenomenal smart n final! Always clean, stocked, friendly and helpful. They have a good assortment of gluten free foods. They also have a clean stocked meat department. Good prices on most items in the store.

My pot roast was on sale. So happyBought all the vegetables and seasonings for my large pot roast. Lines were fast and employees were very friendly.

This is the place to go for party supplies anything that you need for a special event, when you got to do it yourself. Prices are really reasonable compared to other places.

I was very pleased with my visit today. A young man helped me with finding the right size Turkey he was very pleasant as was the cashier and a manager on duty. I when to the one in Spring Valley and there were no Turkeys and no one willing to help. I will be sure to spend my money at the other store.

The smart and final are in Rancho San Diego and University ave. close to Texas st. Are the best the have a lot stuff, more variety. I recommend you go these places are better

Produce department looked better than some of the other Smart & Final stores i have visited. Gourmet cheeses had a great selection as well. Friendly and helpful employees.

This is one of the better Smart and Final Extras I have been too. The store is very clean, well stocked and staff is friendly.

Never take someones dirt with you. Instead give them.a shovel and let them dig the dirt from.there life . As they dig, they only notice they dug themselves a whole for their own grave.

If you are after a sale item I like to call and make sure the supply truck made it on time. It is common for the supply truck to be six hours late.The store has good staff and they try hard even under difficult Covid conditions.

There were no handicap carts charged in the morning. So we had to go to Walmart Supercenter College Grove.

Plenty of parking. Store was not busy. Easy quick checkout today.

Expect employees to show up at your workplace and cause you troubles just because you complained about something! I comlplained to the manager Shawanna about a problem I had and left the store! 10 minutes later she showed up at my workplace and started harassing me. She started yelling at me and telling me not to go her store again because I complained to her in from of her store manager. She also called my manager later and was lying that I was yelling and rude. When I tried to talk to other managers they were saying they are not responsible where she goes. What a professional experience this is!! Smart & final will let their employees track the customers and harass them! And they will absolutely do NOTHING!

What a useless store. I hate coming here. Theyre always out of everything, all their products are huge restaurant-supply size, and the produce quality is terrible. And the line to check out starts in the dairy aisle in the back corner.

Also if you have an Electric car you can park it upfront and Charge it ! The only con i see more often the usual is the stocking in the Drink Section for Cold Fruit Juices are always low or out of Stock.Good Place.

A great shopping experience. Not every item is in club size. Prices great. Was shopping with my moms attendant. Every isle we went down, I kept hearing Im coming back here after work.

Great little store. I like that they have a lot of produce to choose from, as well as a huge section where you can get bulk, non-packaged items. Also, in almost every aisle they have better choice items, which are organic. Not a whole lot of vegan specific items, and a lot of areas seem cluttered. Overall great little store!

Excellent selection, amazing staff, so helpful and knowledgeable. They all recognize their regulars and greet them with huge smiles. Plus the produce section is AMAZING! Its huge, full of fresh produce, and has an amazing variety of fruit and veggies, in addition to the large bulk section!

Today I had to return Dodgers hot dogs. The package had an expuration date of August 25, 2016. My husband did not notice the date. I have had to throw fruit and vegetables away after two days of purchase due to mold. I am so disappointed with this store. Where is the produce coming from that it rots on the stands in the store and at home. I guess I will have to stop shopping there. So sad because it is right down the street.

Usually long lines, nobody on the floor to help shoppers. For the most part, the store is well stocked and face however the meat dept is a wreck....

Bright, clean, well stocked, with some of the best looking produce compared to other discount grocery chains in San Diego.

Like the store and prices although they do not have a deli. However the service is non-existent and the store is very under-staffed. Its hard to run someone down to help you locate something, they dont have self checkout, and although they have six registers Ive never seen them with more than three open at a time which usually translates into long lines no matter what time you go. The Cashiers never ask me if I found everything OK or if I need something, they just basically act like robots doing mechanical work. I like Smart n Final but this store needs more staff and leadership!Update: Tried looking for toothpicks and not only did the four employees that were working there not know where they were located worst part is that they didnt even bother helping me look for them. The lady just told me she was sorry she couldnt help me. Last time I ever come here. Understaffed and nonexistent customer service.

Had exactly what I was looking for at good price so Im one happy customer.

I had just called on Friday and asked if they had 3gallon tub of mint ice cream and the guy said yes. So we got there and all it was... Was green tea ice cream. Pissed off because its not like we live close to that store! On Monday we had called again and the same guy said yes they had it and apparently he had forgotten to tell me that they were going to keep it in the back before he hung up. At the end of this back and forth crap we got what we wanted even though it was poor communication on his part when it came to customer service but I had to give them more stars knowing that he did keep it for us and all through the weekend but would have been nice if I was able to had gotten on Friday when I went the first time there but because he didnt tell us any info before hanging up the phone that when we had gotten there it looked like somone already got them . But, Monday came around and the same guy has picked up thebphome and explain what had happened. So in the end I give them 3 1/2 stars, of I could .

The store lacks some personality, The employees dont seem that friendly or as helpful as other supermarkets. I miss the Vons that used to be there. I do like the bulk item section though. 👍

Generally i like this brand. Things arent moved around much and I can find what I need. I like consistancy. There are two stores i use regularly, Rancho SD and Clairemont. Both are very similar.
