Go somewhere else, especially if you are female. If you have to go here - Expect information and guarantees to change from one store to the next. Expect to have to fight for what is right and to deal with men who do not know how to speak to women in a respectful manner. So sad that this is having to be said in 2021 - but this is the experience, over and over, from this store (multiple locations).

I always get my tires from Discount because of the number of free and included services they offer. Be prepared to wait a while, even if you make an appointment in advance (tire rotation took about 45 minutes). Just budget the time, as this location is always very busy. That said, the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Made an appointment to get my tire sensor fixed. Didnt take 30 mins tops and they patched my tire from a nail hole at no extra charge! Quick service and excellent customer service ! Ill definitely be coming back!

Get the tire warranty!!! I went here to replace two tires I blew out and thought Id have to pay roughly 400 bucks to replace. I forgot Id gotten the warranty for each tire (cost me about an additional 25 bucks for each tire when I first bought them) and they replaced those tires plus another tire that wasnt blown out but was ready to be replaced. The only thing I paid was for another warranty on each tire. The warranty saved me about $600!!! Well worth it.

Went in for a flat repair. The job was done within the promised time period. Repaired tire reinstalled and spare placed in its appropriate position under the van.

When you walk into a tire shop looking for a patch and someone -preemptively- asks: In case I cant get the tire repaired, what would you like me to do? Red flag.I have had -great- service at one other Discount Tire location nearby in the last several years or so, but my visit today at this location (for at least 2 other reasons) made me feel that I should have insisted that my spare be put on and taken the rest of my buisness elsewhere.In particular, Fullers in Baytown or secondarily, Rubios in Pasadena. No BS involved.

My truck turned 26 this year & the tires were RUSTED ON 🤦‍♀️ HORRIBLE if you get a Flat.These guys went Above & Beyond, not only did they get the tire off but they even put on the tire I had & didnt charge me.I will Definitely be buying my next 4 here!

Great company. But a product from them, with a certificate, and you get great service no matter where you travel.

They could use an update on employees and their attitude. Make it more diverse and get people who have experience in customer service. Like Me, oh wait that’s right they don’t hire women!

No point in making an appointment, once you get there you still have to sit til your vehicle is next up. This is not spelled out anywhere when making the appointment. Why waste time booking the appointment.

I would recommend this place. The people I spoke to were informative, helpful and professional.***My neighbors just redid their roof and one of the nails found its way into my front tire. I was incredibly stressed because I lost my job back in December 2020 due to covid and absolutely did not have money for this kind of issue.I purchased tires from another location a few years ago so I stopped into that locations to see what I could do. The people at that discount tire got me a new tire for less than 20$ via the insurance I had unknowingly purchased when I originally got my tires.Great!But then looking at my other tires they said they wernt in good shape and that had me a bit confused, (this had been said by my car dealership and roommate as well a day later,) but my tires were rated for 50k miles minimum and I had barely gone 25k miles on them. I was skeptical but decided to try and work odd jobs to get the money for replacements. After an unsuccessful weekend job searching I ultimately decided to wait because rent is coming up, until yet again another tire started going flat just 4 days later but no nails in sight.I was near this location and decided to see what options I had because at this point I knew my tires were done.This is why these people get 5 stars.The man who greeted me was super polite and professional. I explained my situation and concerns with the tires and asked my options.He explained in detail what was wrong with my individual tires, and about how much life could possibly be left in the ones that werent going flat.At no point was he ever rude or condescending of all my questions, even when I questioned him multiple times on pricing when I got confused.He explained my tire warranty and what the tires I had were rated for and how to help with longevity of my new tires. He then helped me figure out a price I was comfortable with and got me better rated tires then I had, that cost the same as what was on my car before, because I mentioned I was concerned with how quickly the old tires wore down.He didnt try to sell me on anything nor make me feel bad because I was super stressed about spending the money. He was just understanding and helpful.

Great friendly service and staff

Very good system setup since the covid 19 outbreak. As you pull into the parking lot from Spencer highway they have a tent set up for you to check in and let them know what youre there for. My only complaint on this is that with this system set up only two cars can really fit into the driveway while the car at the tent handles their business. Traffic tends to back up easily into the street. Once you let him know what youre there for they tell you to go ahead and park your car and youre able to go inside and take care of what business you need to. They are still doing free air checks. The one point of advice I would give is whatever youre going for go online and make an appointment first, it will cut your wait time significantly. Overall a pretty good experience. Friendly staff, prices are good and you cant beat their warranty on their tires.

This Discount Tires gets the 🌟s because I only needed a tire fixed from a nail thats all, so they knew there was no 💵 to be made from me, but they still made the time even tho they were busy and super friendly they all wore masks got me in and out these guys were very professional. Now 2 days prior I went to the DT off 45 going towards Almeda Mall but the DT is a little bit before the mall just saying in that area anyway even though they were busy kind of blew me off said next time make an appointment and yeah not so professional I guess that day they were all about the money not so much trying to help someone before they get a flat on their way to work, had to put air in it at the gas station and fingers crossed it stayed good till I could go to the other discount tire on my day off.

48 to 89 was a big difference in price tire costs 48 costs almost same for installation i think a little too high but what can you do when youre in a bind

Second time at this location and services is not good first bought tires for my car and they dent my side of my car with something amd of course its not their fault. second time tried to get again services to checky tires and 4 employees just walk by me and look waited and waited and inside my car where u park for them to go to ur car check tires and 15 mins passed and i drove out myself with no one helping me not even to back out of there where theres other cars park.

Came in to get 4 new tires. My tires were beyond bad and the rims I had didnt belong to my truck and didnt fit properly and that they couldnt put those rims back on my truck for safety reasons. Then the manager Frank informed me that he was going to GIVE me 4 new rims so my truck would be safe again. Was totally blown away by the generosity and the fact that these people really care and arent just trying to make a sale. They made a discount tire customer for life. This will be the fourth time within 3 weeks I’m having to visit the store in reference to low PSI only for a Tech to tell me they’re unable to find the problem, valve stem, they replace same problem just to have me return they added air check TPS sensor needed to be reset- I was told no leak the Tech Air my tires and sends me on my way- I visit Friday and Sunday they added AIR .was displaying again- now that’s a first with in 49 hours.... hopefully today visit will be resolved

Always a pleasant experience here. Despite the plandemic the Asst. Manager, Alex Avila, managed to get my tires replaced in about 30 minutes! Conveniently located near my residence with a friendly and knowledgeable staff! A recipe for a return customer!

Took a tire on a rim and it took an hour and a half the Mountain View Tire on the rim and put it in the back of my truck and they tried to give me somebody elses rim

A rep named Roger helped us and he got us a good deal on a tire and exactly what we were looking for. We got there about 30 minutes before closing time and they still helped us with a new tire, mount and balance. We were in and out in 30 minutes! All the employees were helpful and friendly. The store and bathrooms were clean. We will definitely return if we need tires or rims in the future. This location is easy to find and is right off of Spencer hey.

I drive about 20 miles from home just to come here. That should tell you something. They make sure not to damage your wheels. They are quick. 👍🏼😎👍🏼

Tech looked at my tire ...said you need a new tire it isnt repairable. He did not even dismount tire. Took it to another discount tire they dismounted and repaired. I dont recommend this discount tire . They just want to sell tires. Really disappointed. If I could rate this store a zero I would. I thought about calling the manager and corporate office but what for? This is more effective.

The person that helped me was nice and patient with me looking for rims and tires for my vehicle.

Had a flat, called discount and they had to order it, but it arrived the next morning. Stopped by around noon on a Wednesday and met with Cory. He examined the tire and even recommended someone that can help buff out scratches on the rim. Took about 30-40 minutes as they were quite busy, but that was fine with me. Road hazard warrant covered the cost of the replacement. Very happy with the service, as always, and will continue to be a customer of this discount tire in the future.

Not sure why, but this location I have had issues with more than once. From over torqueing new wheels and had to cut studs damaging wheels, selling me a set of new defected tires and mounting them, to the one which occurred this past weekend to giving my trailer wheels and tires to another customer that they didnt belong. Im officially calling off this location and will wait for the Kemah store to have what is needed.

I came in to check on a low tire and Farris Townsend showed me how worn my tires were and that I should be aware of that I would need to think about getting new tires soon . Farris explained my options and I chose Michelins because of their safety record. I am very pleased with my new tires and everyone at Discount Tire is very professional, courteous and respectful.

Friendly service. Got all new tires and the guy, i believe his name was scott, was very helpful on helping me choose the best ones for my vechile and the price. Matched price with a better tire than what I had picked online since they did not have them in store. Took about an hour, so not to long of a wait either.

Not much good to say about this location in my time here. Cory didn’t really have any sort of upbeat attitude. Just a “whatever” kinda guy.$10 isn’t that big of a deal to me, but he would not match the price I paid for the two tires I bought just a month earlier and made no effort to work with me at all.Previous owner of the car removed three tpms sensors and left one. I asked to remove the last one and he refused to do so. I don’t see why he can’t do that. I just want a normal valve but I can’t get that.The only plus side I can give is that I got new tires.

What an amazing crew! I have to give a huge kudos to JUSTIN! I cant thank him enough for being such a huge help with my situation. I came in at closing time, literally the store was closed systems shut down and all, however he sensed my franticness and did not even hesitate to turn everything back on and assist me with a smile and a very friendly nature. I never sensed that he felt put out or frustrated with me, he was very professional and I felt as though he treated me like family. They did not have my tire in stock that day so again Justin took it to the next level. He took the time to check my spare as well as my other tires to ensure my safety on the road, ordered my tires to be available the next day and all after normal business hours! I explained that my drive from work is very far, Justin then offered to stay late the next day to be available to put my new tires on! I left today feeling as though I was completely taken care of with an elite company! This has earned my business for me and my entire household, I will never buy tires anywhere else. This entire store was amazing and I cant thank them enough. I know there were other employees assisting Justin however he stood out to me as a leader and a great employee, Discount Tire has one outstanding employee in this young man. He was very humble in giving credit to his manager for always pushing him to do better and move up which has made a big impact on him. This company is doing something right!

Discount on tires, but a zero discount on service and satisfaction!

My husband had to come to the rescue. I felt taken advantage of because Im female and apparently I was right. I was told it would be almost $900 for for tires of a specific kind. My husband was quoted less than $700. They tried explaining away the nonsense with nonsense, but i have to say it was only the location in Laporte that did this. Ive never had an issue at other locations at all. Pretty disappointing, but glad my man set them straight.
