While I am normally happy with their service, I must say I am incredibly disappointed with a delivery I received for my birthday. They were not delivered to me until 4:30 on a Friday when the school closes at 4. I had already left for the day. My principal told the driver that I had gone already but they insisted on leaving them instead of returning them to the store. They were left in the office and when I arrived at work today, this is what they looked like. My husband was out of town for the weekend and will call the florist today to see about restitution or a way to move forward, but I felt I had to leave this review as a message that when they deliver late on a Friday and the recipient is not there, they should not leave the delivery.

Very beautiful inside. Its definitely a hidden gem! Everything is reasonably priced, and great service. They also sell flora and some knick knacks such as jewelry, home decor etc...give this place a try when you want a light lunch and some yummy bakery 😋

This is a hidden gem for sure! Cute Tea Room, Boutique, bakery and flower shop. Sits right in-front of an small airport. They have little vendor markets out front sometimes. The food was great. The deserts were amazing, zoom in on the pictures. The variety of tea was off the hook and the way they present it, just like a little tea room. Hot water, leaves, cups, honey is what I saw. And a timer to know how long to steep. The food was fresh and lots of Keto and gluten free options. Variety of Sandwich/Chips, soup, salad choices.The boutique had some very cute gifts, candles, jewelry, just lots of cute stuff. They are also a full flower shop! Beautiful arrangements on display. They have a room they rent hold about 40 people, it’s beautiful. They do offer catering. Very clean place, friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. If your in the area I highly recommend stopping in for a look and a bite and listen to some live music

The service is very good. We were seated and had menus and our drink order in within 5 minutes of coming in the door. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Waitress checked on us continuously thru out the meal. The food was good but, maybe, a little overpriced. Overall it was a very nice dining experience.

Being somebody who isnt from Texas, but loves living here and all that comes with it.... Im super sensitive about feeling welcome at local businesses. Not only is their food amazing, but they make me feel like Ive been a local good old boy my whole life. I really appreciate when businesses make me feel like I belong. They are wonderfully welcoming. I absolutely LOVE their bread pudding.

Food was not good. One order was wrong. One order, the portions of salad were ridiculously small compared to the bread on which they were served. The chicken salad looked like shredded chicken with lots of mayo and some pepper. Nothing to flavor it. I returned it. We didnt get the wrong order corrected because it took too long to get our waitress attention. But they were short staffed. My mom was only able to eat a portion of the meal because it wasnt what she had ordered - as described on the menu. The spinach and dill dip was awful. I took it home to fix it. On a good note, the tomato soup has a wonderful flavor, but its kind of thick. The wrong order was $13.00. The owner gave us $1.95 discount. As of now, we are not inclined to return. We were so excited to find a tea room in Laporte. Too bad it was disappointing.UPDATE:The owners comments are not true. No matter...we will not return.

The best customer service I have ever experienced! I live in Florida and was trying to find a bonsai tree for a friends birthday that lives in the Houston area so not physically being there was hard as it is to search for one. Then when I called Garden of Eden they did not have any however Kelly went out of her way to make calls seeing if she could find it for me. In the end we did not but she had the most amazing succulent garden that I was very pleased with and a very unique card setup to where I can design my own card. She was sending me pictures of everything so I could see it before sent to my friend and giving me options which was amazing. My friend absolutely loved the arrangement, and in the end Kelly was always trying to accommodate me, going above and beyond. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for great customer service and fabulous arrangements!

Got an order to go, will never go here again. The portion size for the price was not good and neither was the food.The peach cobbler was like mush and so was the bread pudding, they were very watery. The chicken spaghetti was really dry and unappealing looking. Nobody at my house would eat any of it, so we had to throw it all away. A waste of good money.

Picked up a variety of cake balls for a special occasion on Sunday. While their cake balls are rather expensive, the delicious taste and variety make it money well spent. At the same time I bought a ($5.00) brownie that was so dry I threw it away. Happy with the cake balls, but beware of the brownies!

Absolutely a gem! The food is fresh and delish, the sweets (especially the fudgy warm brownie) are heavenly, and the staff couldn’t be better! Our girls feel so fancy using their beautiful tea cups and pots also.

My family went for the Mothers Day High Tea today and were very disappointed. I was really looking forward to a local tea room. It was stuffy and hot, my mother and I were sweating. What bread wasnt cold was stale. For what I paid it was absolutely not worth it and will not be back.

In response to their comment below: Im alot of things but a liar isnt one! So you calling me one here numerous times just reinforces the horrible business practice and customer service you have. I did delete my review on their FB page because they called my husband and said they did a partial refund. I should put that review back up. The money was paid to Garden of Eden. When they were shown the pathetic spray they should have immediately rectified it then taken up the issue with the florist the order was wired to. That is horrible customer service for not doing so. I still dont recommend them. Also I have yet to see the credit on our credit card nor do I have a receipt for said credit but I highly doubt it has the name of another florist on it. Edit to add they did credit back half of the cost after this post was made.Dont buy flowers from here. My husband bought a spray for a family members funeral at a cost of $220. What was delivered wasnt worth $50. He took a picture of what was delivered and has a photo of what was ordered. He went back to Garden of Eden to get the situation rectified. He was essentially told oh well too bad that there wasnt anything they could really do about it, that if there was they would contact him by tomorrow. Never heard back from them. What a horrible way to run a business and treat a customer!

They make keto food and muffins. I tested my blood sugar after eating. My sugar didnt rise.

The flower arrangement for my aunt’s funeral was exactly as I had wanted. It was beautiful. And, the person I spoke with was extremely helpful and courteous.

The kids meal was 6.00 for a sandwich smaller than my toddlers hand. It said it came with a drink but they charged me separately. So for a drink, tiny sandwich, and a handful of chips, we paid almost 9.00!!! Service was slow. We were there almost 2 hours. Prices are ridiculous with tiny portions.

We had them do a flower spray for a funeral service. They did everything that we asked for and even made it the special colors that we asked for. I will definitely be using Yall again for any of my flower needs. We have a big Thank you from the Lorenz family and from thr Rogers family we appreciate everything that yall did for us in the time of need that we was in.

That was a great service, they understood that it was a short notice as I needed it dropped at the hospital where my wife was admitted. They delivered way before it was expected, and the fruit you could tell it was freshly cut and dipped. I strongly recommend this place!!

Do not order food from here. I ordered on Door Dash unaware that this is a flower shop. They portrayed themselves as a restaurant on DD. The food was not good at all. The fruit cup I got was tiny and only had a few pieces of fruit in it and one very tiny strawberry. Then the sandwich had what looked like lunchable meat and cheese on it. The other meat on it tasted very low quality. I was disappointed and had no time left for lunch. In the end I ended up only eating the pickle. I dont know about their flowers but the food is bad!! They should not have themselves up on Door Dash without making the customer aware they are not an actual restaurant.

Everything you could ask for! Flowers were absolutely fantastic, fresh and vibrant. I added a dozen of there cakeballs which were to die for. Oh and they serve a great lunch menu. You have got to try this place! A hidden gem for sure.

I was super excited for this order to come for my wife, I read good reviews about this floral shops, and I am all for supporting small business. The delivery was fast, I ordered at 9AM flowers were delivered around 1:30PM the same day. But below is what I paid for (the deluxe, not the standard) and this is what I received. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but I was super disappointed that this is what came. They also messed up what I wrote on the card.Edit: my pictures will not post on here. I have also called the floral shop on 2 different occasions and have emailed them trying to get a resolution. The first time the lady acted as though she did not know why I was calling, was super rude and belittling. The second time the gentleman I spoke to was very nice tried to get ahold of a store manager, but could not. Left him my name and number and assured I get a call back, and yet I still have not gotten a call back over a week later. Do not waste your time here. Pay the extra 10-20$ and get flowers from a reputable flower shop.

I only gave it a one because they didnt have a 0. By far the worst that I have ever seen. First I emailed the owner a pic of what I wanted and asked him if he could make it. I received a response pretty quick telling me no problem. Well, it was a problem. What I received didnt look anything like what I asked for. It did not even look professional, it looked like my grandson picked flowers in the back yard and stuck them in a vase. Well, I emailed the owner a pic of what I received twice giving him a chance to explain. I did not get a response either time Oh yea, and by the way, while I was at the counter placing my order the owner walked by and did not even acknowledge me, I had to ask who he was and introduce myself. Maybe that should have raised a red flag for me.

During a recent hospital stay I received a nice bouquet delivered by Garden of Eden so I thought I would try them when I wanted to send flowers for my moms birthday. The flowers were delivered on the right day, but did not look as good as the picture. And although I put in the special instructions that they were to be delivered to the side door, they were left on the front porch in 90 degree weather after only one knock and they did not wait for anyone to answer. I was very disappointed and wont use them again.

Ordered flowers on Feb 13 2018 for Valentines day. Well had a problem with the delivery. It was not going to make it to the place I wanted it to go. I called to find out where the flowers were. Found out they were out of the yellow roses and had to change the kind of flowers and added a balloon. When they arrived at the second address I gave them the arrangement was not what I paid for. Call and talked to a gentleman that was real nice and understood my distress. He found me a solution and took time out of his life to bring me lilies to replace the roses I did not get and arranged them here at work. I do want to thank him for the time he spent to make me happy.....

My husband sent me flowers and strawberries while out of town through 1800Flowers who used Garden of Eden.. I did receive the flowers, but no strawberries..I called 1800 Flowers, who called Garden of Eden, and was told they forgot. And they would send them the next day. They never came.. I tried to call and even left a voicemail, no one called.Dont use this flower shop. They could care less...

This was my first visit but I would recommend it to my friends. They are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Never again will we do business with this so called florist, my husband ordered flowers online for our 19th anniversary they took the payment and delivered them to wrong address. Florist made the mistake by writing the wrong address on the delivery card! Beware if your expecting to send something nice to your loved one on and important day, do not and I mean DO NOT expect to get it from this place!!

My son sent me an arrangement of flowers yesterday for Mothers Day. I received a call from a gentleman early afternoon,who said they were left at his home, on 1st street.We live on Iowa st,here in La Porte. I fail to see how 1st and Iowa St could have been mistaken for the same address. He was kind enough in the middle of a pouring rain to bring them to me. Today, the arrangement looks as if it is at least a week old already. Not happy at all.I will let him know tomorrow.He works too hard to spend his money on arrangements like this.
