I have left the store after asking for help in the baby section for diapers several times at this point and came in one day to find the formula locked up. How long will it take to get formula? For diapers I have had experiences from 5 minutes to over 20 minutes where I gave up and went elsewhere. I liked this store alot but in the last two years the change has been horrible and its only getting worse.

It’s been so long since I’ve received “true” customer service; I didn’t know how to react to Jewelry Associate Cynthia M’s superior level of assistance. She was helpful, polite and informative. I would recommend to anyone willing to listen go see for yourself.

Excellent store with broad selection. The staff are extremely pleasant. I bring my adult deaf/autistic son there to shop because the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant to him. When they see me signing to him almost all checkers immediately switch to polite signals directly to him instead of expecting me to interpret. Most even know how to sign “thank you” at the end. My son always has such a big smile after shopping there.

Every time Ive gotten pickup/curbside from this store, its been amazing - very quick & friendly service with fresh, correct products!I had shopped in-store several times before the pandemic & always had good, average to above average experiences here as well. It does get busy (with the very large parking lot being very full!) but Id definitely recommend for off times!

The grocery part of this store is pretty darn good. Great produce, good deli selection. Look for the deals and they can be had. For everyday shopping I dont go here because the prices are high. The staff are usually pretty good. There is even a free fruit bin for kids to have a healthy snack while you shop. The bananas they had were still green so that was a bit disappointing but the gesture was nice. We found one mostly yellow banana and a Cutie. Thanks Freddy. Their cheese and wine selection is fantastic.

Had a good experience. Was somewhat crowded but not really crowded. Got everything that i needed except for 1 item. They were sold out of the item plus it was not a sale item. O well u win some & lose some. It was 4 the most part good experience.

A previous dedicated shopper of Fred Meyer in Lacey for produce but over the summer of 2021, fruit and vegetables turned rottenovernight. Moldy lemons. Raspberries several times. Bad snow peas. Sorry to have to change stores!

Not accustomed to the treatment I received this evening at this location. We come here often and tonight as we headed to check ✔ out at the back door. The cashier Harley whose light was on and she was checking out others literally screamed at us from across the store 😱 Im closed and started waiving her arms like a maniac..you have to go up front. Now there are ways to communicate messages of this nature...that is not one of them. We went to the front and our cashier Rachel was the exact opposite, both engaging and helpful. Sorely disappointed and left a bad impression all the way around. I would.NOT hire Harley on a bet..ever.

Received wonderful help from an assistant by the name of Ryan and the store manager with the last name Fletcher. This was quite a while back, but they both went above and beyond what they needed to. I had a newborn waiting at home with my spouse, and they ensured the return process for an air fryer (which was quite the hassle) went as smoothly as possible. Bless them both!

I despise this Fred Meyer. It is always insanely busy and parking is impossible.

The Lacey, WA store had a deal on Fitbit watches. If you spend over $100.00 on these watches. You would receive a $20.00 gift card. So I bought two Fitbits and the clerk made two separate transactions so I would receive two $20.00 gift cards. After I was done purchasing I asked him if I could use both gift cards that same day on other things I needed in the store. So I picked up a few more items and tried to use one of the gift cards. It didnt work. Neither of them had anything on them. I told that cashier I had just received these in the electronics department. They said to contact Kroger. I did that and they said that these cards were already used at the Tumwater Fred Meyers. How is that possible if I was at the Lacey store? They took down my name and number. Said they would investigate the transaction further and contact me later. It has been over a month and I am seriously upset that no one has called me back. So my cashier was a young man named Sterling in electronics. The purchase took place on 8/10/2020. I dont even feel comfortable buying gift cards or using my debit card there. I believe some kind of scam is going on and he should questioned. Possibly even fired. I do a lot of shopping at this store and never had a problem that was not solved until now. Aisles are very narrow and pathways are often filled with displays making maneuvering with a cart much too difficult.

I love going to Freddies. The people who work there seem to genuinely enjoy being there, and although I thought some of their grocery items were a bit on the high side, I was pleasantly surprised--shocked even--to see some of the GREAT DEALS on clothing, shoes, outerwear, and so much more. You can practically do your whole life out of Freddies, with style and at a decent price.

Store charged me for an order that their staff had promised to cancel, and then failed to correct the error despite repeated attempts to follow up with them. (Edit: was finally refunded after making this post! 1 month after the event.)I understand that grocery pick-ups might run late, and was OK with the fact that they called to ask me to come in an hour later. Once I got there and checked in, a kind clerk came to let me know it would be *another* hour before they could prepare my order. I asked if I could cancel the order, since I was not able to wait in town that long, and he assured me they would cancel it. I went into the store and made my purchase in-person, thinking that it was resolved.My bank statement arrives two weeks later, and I see that even though the pickup order was canceled and never prepared, they still charged me for it. It took weeks of failed attempts to reach persons able to help me.Fred Meyer should be more accountable for its errors.

Buy there sushi and a kombucha for under $25 guaranteed fresh and made right in front of you. Hand down best sushi in town anywhere. Ive eaten in almost every restaurant and buffet in the Olympia area. If you want sushi or have the fish crave, go here from 7 to 9.

Youll find it at freddys. Garden dept is excellent. This one is laid out differently than Tumwater.

Employment here was not the best. Some management was good, while others were terrible. Honestly, I think they need to remove all management and bring in fresh leadership

This place is terrible, the lines are always to long. The employees at the register take so long at ringing up customers merchandise. It feels like the managers or anyone in charge don’t care about serving great customer service anymore. And usually when your getting rung up by the employee they don’t even ask how your day is going or making eye contact. I feel bad for the people who purchase ice cream and have to wait in these long lines, by the time they get out. They’re ice cream is gonna be melted. No joke.

Before the end of this month. I want to thank you again to the bakery department for my babys 1st birthday cake. Thank you for making me satisfy the way I wanted it you to decorated it. They got the right color frosting it matches with my babys banner I made it myself & his chair. Oh & banana nuts cake was bomb.

Bakery manager needs to be demoted, standing around chatting with her hubby for 15 min while people are trying to get to what there standing in front of. Then acting like a rude dismissive jr highschool bully who thinks she owns the world and how dare I question her. I will not be shopping here again!

Curbside pickup is Terrible!!! We have ordered curbside pickup now 3 times in the last week. The first time they called to reschedule, we shows up at the new time and still had to wait 30 minutes past our promised time. The second time someone else picked it up and stated it was on time. Today we came to pick up at the designated time waited patiently 45 min after check-in until 10 min after the designated time. Called only to speak with someone only to be told they supposedly called 2 hours prior and rescheduled for 2 hours later than was originally scheduled. Fred Meyer usually sets a high standard that’s why we shop here but this is ridiculous.

We understand that it can be difficult to shop during a pandemic, but we were disappointed today with the grocery pick up. We had several items on our receipt that we paid for but didnt receive. We did call and get it resolved, but I would have appreciated the actual items which didnt show up as not being available. We like the convenience of choosing online, but it seems like there is always something off in the order, even with delivery. If you order delivery, you can get ongoing texts from your shopper to clarify items that can be substituted.

Wife and I went in to pick up some things and they rang up incorrectly. The cashier argued with us saying that its our responsibility to check the item and the sales tag, not the responsibility of the person actually stocking the shelves. Go to a more friendly store that wants your business

I came here to get a Apple Watch charger in the morning before work. And no one had the key to the electronic case. I guess only one person has it??? Which is pretty stupid. Especially if that person isn’t at work and customers need to purchase an item. Pretty inconvenient!!!

Oh my goodness just left the store they literally had every employee following me around how uncomfortable! I will not be returning. All for a mirror and cute things to decorate my home. NOT MY FAULT I HAVE TO WEAR THIS DAMN MASK!

They have the worst customer service for curbside pickup. My order is delayed EVERY SINGLE TIME. I finally called and told them what an inconvenience it is and that I would like some kind of resolution or credit and they told me they couldn’t do that. Worst service ever.

This place was a life saver! Within walking distance of our apartment and anytime we needed to save on gas it was nice to walk there. Their departments were pretty varied and it was almost a one stop shop. Our family basically spent everything we had there. Was probably one of the cleanest stores we’ve been to.

I bought a few TV antennas for my boyfriend while the Covid was going on and they said they are not taking any returns, at the time the lady even said, when I made the purchase I could return the item i tired retuning them several times and they said no again, so I tried today and plus I didnt even open the packages and they said No.To me this is not right. I tried 3 times to return these and they wont refund me my money I am talking to the supervisor if my money s not retired I am going to file a complaint.

This review is for one of the cashiers her name is Amy I believe. My boyfriend and 10 month old were just in there to stock up on formula that we usually purchase with WIC. For whatever reason WIC was not going through. Without hesitation, Amy took out her own personal card and paid for formula and baby cereal. We are both so thankful for the kind act. She did not need to do this, but she reiterated that she wanted to. Amy is an amazing employee that I will never forget.Thank you!

Been shopping on and off here for the last 8 years and its only gotten worse. They have fewer and fewer people working the registers causing ling lines and very slow service. Employees can be difficult to find for any help. And their bathrooms are revolting. Like... bad... really bad. Makes me wonder how good they are at cleaning anything else such as the meat department. Anyhoo.... id rather shop elsewhere. In my opinion your not any better than shopping at walmart.

Hard to find people who worked there and I needed help.

I have never been so embarrassed in my life. When notified that I was unable to try things on i felt absolutely targeted. Not because of what the employee had to say but because of how she addressed me about the situation. First off she yelled from about ten feet away and then continued to stand and stare at me like I was up to no good, and say over her radio about what had just happened like I was acting belligerent or not obliging what she had to say. I am a tax paying citizen with needs like any other normal person but was not aware of the new policy and am absolutely disgusted with how I was treated. She deserves to be treated the same way to know how absurd her reaction was. I dont normally rant but I am not happy with how this employee chose to address the situation.

Every time I shop here, I encounter at least customer shopping with a pet dog. A couple times, Ive even seen customers with dogs riding inside shopping carts or in the grocery hand baskets. This is clearly a violation of the food code, but employees dont seem to care. Ive even been told that the manager allows dogs in the store as long as theyre leashed.I love the selection at this location, but Im going to start finding somewhere else to shop until the sanitary conditions of this store improve.

Concerning fred meyer pickup: I know this pandemic has made things extremely difficult for staffing, but the easy fix here is to not have as many slots open for pickup orders. There is something that can be done to fix this, but it’s not happening. This is the 2nd time I have had to wait for an hour in my car.

I like Freddies! Great selection of just about everything. Bulk foods. Organic foods. Gluten free. Vegan etc. Great service. Prices undercut the Thriftway store in Olympia. Great hours accommodate those with restricted schedules.My only issue is that I often forget which entrance I used to get in. :)

I LOVE MY LOCAL FRED MEYERS! Everyone that works there has been nothing but kind and generous to me since I moved to this area 5 years ago. As of late, one girl helped me with a bookshelf, she lifted it in the basket for me and also loaded it in my car! ALL BY HER SheRa self! I was in awe of her strength and kindness. Treated me so well. And today, my dumb butt misunderstood a coupon and thought I was going to get an additional 20 percent off my purchase of a coffee table but that didnt start till Friday. WELL, after mentioning my mistake I asked if they could still honor it AND THEY DID! Over and over this store takes care of me and its customers by the reviews Im seeing from others.THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP! YOU PUT ALL OTHER STORES TO SHAME!

Update, the pharmacy is still great for the most part. One employee is repeatedly mean with the customers. She is very immature.This is where I pick up my prescriptions, the pharmacy staff is phenomenal. I enjoy that I can go shopping while waiting for a prescription. One of the gals at the customer service desk was very helpful in having an employee call another Fred Meyer to see if they had an item I was looking for.

Great store, my favorite for grocery shopping and more. I’m close to Safeway, but if I have more than 1 or 2 items I’d rather drive down the road to Fred Meyer, much better prices, better quality, more variety. I create my shopping list before I get there, then while in the store their smartphone app shows the aisle where the items are located. Very convenient.

Horrid customer service. Tried finding an associate to answer a question. I ended up calling customer service who said they would send someone over right away. Ten minutes later I went and tracked someone down. And they were super rude acted like I was an inconvenience. No wonder I never shop there, and I dont plan on going back.

Lacey Police patrol here, inside and out. I feel safe while shopping here but it makes me wonder what goes on and why they need that much patrols when they have cameras all over the place....The workers are nice and the isles are well labeled.Great produce and grocery selection! This most recent visit to Fred Meyer was frustrating. I stopped in for a quick visit to pick up oranges and half & half. Oranges were easy to find and in good condition. The half & half was frustrating because there are multiple areas for dairy and half&half. I couldnt find organic half & half in the regular coolers. Nearby, there was a cooler full of organic milk but no half & half. I finally found a separate cooler down an aisle where the organic half&half is stored. A 5 minute visit morphed into 15 minutes because similar items are scattered around the store instead of all in one place.

I absolutely adore the produce section! So many choices and things you cannot find anywhere else. Also LOVE the cheese bar, and the helpful staff that work behind the counter. All staff is always friendly, selection of items in all departments is excellent.

Place looks clean. Cashiers and customer service are nice. Check some of your stuff before buying it. I purchased a Brush Straightener and it was opened and used. But exchanging it went very smoothly since I kept my receipt. Otherwise, without it, i wouldve gotten store credit. Not bad, but i perfer my money back rather than store credit.

Great store! Great prices, so many options! I bought a couple cookie sheets today with my groceries and accidentally left them in my cart when I left. I came back 30 minutes later and employees had found it and turned it in to customer service. I walked in, told them what happened, showed them the receipt, and they handed them to me right away. Very friendly experience!

There was a very nice employee running his Butt Off helping customers find things. I know because I was the 3rd, the woman after me the 4th, and he no sooner finished with her than I seen him off with someone else. He was always smiling, polite, and definitely earning his wages today.

I like shopping at Fred Meyer. One of my favorite stores. I was there yesterday and bought some clothes. I went there today to get some McCormick Smokehouse Pepper. I really like how it enhances soups and other dishes. My wife and I have looked for it in other stores but unable to find it. We have told so many people about it and where to get it.., Fred Meyer! But wait! I only selected three stars for your rating. I went all the way to Lacey from Rainier instead of shopping near home because Freds carries McCormick Smokehouse Pepper and I like Fred Meyer anyway but.., what the hell! You stopped carrying the pepper! Now I dont know who else carrys It! Maybe someone there at Freds can tell me where to shop now when I am needing McCormick Smokehouse Pepper

So dissatisfied with Fred Meyer today .. no employees where practicing anything ...No one is cleaning check stands, so many people in there store I couldnt barely move in the produce section no plastic barriers between cashiers and customers.Other stores are practicing safe measures in our community including wal mart of all places, safeway and Albertsons cleans there check stands after each use . Get it together

Standard box store with just about everything in it that one might want. Handicap accessible parking, isles, restrooms. Baby sitting service - not certain how young will accept though. Starbucks coffee service. Order online & then pick up available. So much more.

I havent shopped at Fred Meyer for many years. Great prices, great service, a pleasure to shop there. I do want to encourage them to keep Pace with their employee salaries and efforts to recruit employees.

Fred Meyer in Lacey is always good for quick stops. I can get in grab a few items, pick up a prescription and be on my way in minutes. It is also a good place to shop when you need many items. There produce and meat departments are well managed in Lacey. The Fred Meyer in Tumwater often has rotting fruit items on display. Lacey Fred Meyer is the best location in the south sound area.

I purchased an item that 2 hrs later, a Dr indicated wasnt needed. When I attempted to return the unopened item, I was told I couldnt due to covid. This is a ludicrous policy since it had never been opened, let alone used. They said it was instituted by the governor which I find hard to believe since the policy wasnt at other stores. Needless to say I was ticked! I drove over an hour to return it and had to turn right around and drive an hour home and will have to do the same when I am allowed to return it. The item hasnt even left my vehicle.Youd think that the clerks should have been instructed to tell customers of the return policy or hand customers a slip of paper with the policy during the purchase. But no, customers have to read the gazillion flyers that are plastered on the doors that slide open so you cant read them.Then, when I was at a Fred Meyer Market, I inquired if the item could be returned yet and was told the item had to be returned within 14 days and a receipt was required. I asked how I was supposed to return it when they actually wouldnt. Slightly contradictory dont you think? That employee sounded like a broken record. Im so p.o.d with F.M. that Im not going to shop there any longer.

Someone came on the overhead intercom yelling at everyone to leave! They were closing in an hour and the person manning the intercom was very rude saying you need to leave and I will keep making this announcement till you leave 😳Walmart doesnt even do that.Low class.

I like Fred Meyer however their prices for the same product at Walmart are ridiculously over priced bout the only thing thats better there is their meat and produce. Great staff but some of the people their are extra snooty and rude. Other than that great place to get what you need.

I love the staff here. Always friendly and personable. Very clean bathrooms. Very clean store. Went to Fred Meyer Jewelers once as well to buy a wedding ring. They didnt push to hard for selling. Which I liked very much.

I just like Fred Meyer and this one is newly remodeled. There is a fairly good selection of organic and specialty diet products and their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.Also, I just had a major issue with pharmacy that was resultant from lack of employee education. I wrote a review regarding the issue. They resolved wonderfully. I was contacted by the pharmacy member responsible for team training. He apologized and assured me this tidbit would be required training every vaccine season.

I primarily come here for the Clicklist service, which I love. The employees are always helpful and friendly. They almost always choose great substitutes when anything is out of stock. In store staff are always friendly too!

Fred Meyers is just convenient. It has pretty much everything youll find at a Walmart superstore. Clothes, groceries, furniture, sporting equipment, toys, electronics you get it. The customer service is pretty good. The staff is friendly and helpful. I like that they dont actively bug you.

Nice, clean, and well organized. Never been to a Fred Meyers before but Im impressed. One stop shop for all your needs including but not limited to groceries, clothing, furniture and even Jewelry. Prices are very reasonable for high quality goods.

I did curbside and ordered some yogurt they got me one that was on clearence and had already expired. I also bought some frozen chicken breast and when I opened the bag the chicken was grey in color and also had some black on pieces.

This is an excellent place to go if you are living the Atkins way. They have Atkins shakes, bars, and treats, as well as a wide selection of high-quality meat, not to mention a wide variety of fresh produce. Fred Meyer is also very clean, and the aisles are also very wide, which makes navigating the store very easy.

As always the pharmacists are wonderful! The vast majority of staff is too. I now have to drive across town to get to this Freddies! But, its well worth it.
