We recently went to Firestone due to our vehicle having alignment issues. We brought the vehicle in and after inspecting it, they discovered that the control arms on our vehicle were damaged. We were given a quote to repair our vehicle. Although we experienced a minor delay in getting the parts due to availability, Brian (Manager) ensured that they obtained the parts and held them until our return. Upon our return from a trip, we brought the vehicle in without an appointment. Amazingly, the parts were replaced in a short amount of time. Our vehicle drives well. I feel as if Firestone treated us like family and wanted us to be safe. Prior to this month, we had never used a Firestone for services. Based on this experience, we will return to ensure that our vehicle receives proper care. Special thanks to the manager Brian for going above and beyond.

So, I went to the Firestone Tire Shop on Pinhook today 10/23/21 to (get this) have a tire patched and to get my tires rotated. That was all. I arrived there basically at 12pm. I left at 3:30 and my truck hadnt been touched!!!! I was told when I arrived that it would take 20-30min to get my truck in. Yea right! What truly upset me besides the long wait, is that they had 2 people at the front desk and one of them acted like they had no idea of how to provide customer service. I was very polite about it but seriously upset! What makes it worse was that Ill be needing tires soon and considered buying my tires there. However after this experience, I have changed my mind and they will not be getting business from me or anyone else I talk to!

Took my keys back before they even started. They took too long. Arrived early for 12 pm appt, didnt even touch my car yet so at 1:30, I said nope. Super dangerous location, hard to get into parking lot and parking lot is not big enough for the amount of cars they are working on. Innefficient and unorganized crew, stealing eachothers working bays instead of coordinating with eachother. After witnessing this unprofessional behavior I decided to not trust my life with them. Made an appointment almost a week ago (6/30) for 9 am today (7/6). Dropped it off, then left store on foot and returned around 10:30. Truck had not been moved. Sat in lobby until 12:00. Truck had not been moved. Two other customers in the lobby were dealing with similar issues. Myself and one of those gentlemen got our keys back from the front desk and left. I will take my business elsewhere to a shop that honors an appointment made and gets to your vehicle in a timely manner.

Gave me a good deal on tires but other than that its....Unorganized. I was told to order my tires and I would get a call on the next day... I had to call on my own. Then was told they are booked and I couldnt come in. Then I was told to come after 11:30 the following business day... I get there to be told oh you picked a bad day I only got 2 people working... I reply well I was told to come after 11:30 he replies well its 3:30... if you need something done go to the Johnston street location.

I do not recommend for anyone to go there. I dropped my truck there for a few hours work I was told. The next day I had to go sit there for them to even start on my truck. Because the day I was told to drop it off they didn’t even start on it. Took 2 days for them to fix my truck. I had to sit, they broke apart on my truck, and now my truck is making the loud some. The mechanic just leave without even finishing his work. Worst experience everUpdate 6/04/2021My car is worst. Want back Monday to get the problem fixed. I called an complained Monday was told I would receive a call with in 48 hours and it Friday still no call back from anyone. I paid a lot of money for this and my truck is worst.

I called Firestone on Pinhook yesterday, 6/21/21, and asked if they could fix two tires with nails in them. I also told him I needed it for my son to go to work out of town in the morning. Bryan assured me they could & it would be ready before they closed. When I didn’t hear from him before their closing time I called & he told me they didn’t get to it, but he would have someone get on it first thing when they opened today, 6/22/21, at 7:00am. I called this morning at 9:15am, Bryan told me again, that it’s not ready. My son needs to be at work by 12:30 in Lake Charles. He needs time to drive home & get ready & drive to work. I should have read the reviews first because this is obviously an ongoing problem with this place!!! I am very upset & my review will also be posted & sent to someone above Bryan!!!! THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE-DON’T GO HERE!!!!

Well got 4 tires on Thursday September 10..on Saturday right back tire was flat! Unorganized, slow, and poor communication. These guys can’t get to a standard oil change within 8 hours on a Tuesday, even after saying it would be complete in a couple hours. Try your luck somewhere else.

Not even 1 star. From what my daughter told me, they denied her getting her tire fixed because they only had 2 techs. My daughter had a nail in her tire and needed immediate assistance. She did go to another Firestone location on Johnston street and took hours to fix or should I say sale her a tire to put on. I hate to see if her tire was completely flat at the time but thank god that wasn’t the case.

Brought my car to them at 9:30am to get fixed up for my appointment for 1pm and they told me they haven’t started on my car yet because they took TWO tickets before mine knowing I called to schedule my appointment for 1!!! The service is terrible. The wait time is through the room and they work on cars that they feel need the least work instead of first come first serve or by appointment times!!

Stuck in the area while a loved one recovers from surgery, and had a flat tire. Barely made it to the location and I’m told (by a tall rude man, that I’m amazed to find out is the Manager) that it will be “a couple hours, I dunno” to fix my flat tire. As unhappy as I was, I left my vehicle there for over FOUR hours before I called THEM, only to have them tell me “oh yeah, yo tire ain’t repairable”! Really?? The nail is on the side, so that is understandable, but it takes 4 hours to see that?? Seems like someone should have taken the time to come out to my car when I was checked in. The parking lot was practically empty and there were mechanics in the lobby talking with this manager the whole time but NOT WORKING. So now I’m told they don’t have my tire in stock and they missed the cut-off time to get one today (don’t get me started).Firestone you really let me down. I guess the nurse at the hospital was right. I should have listened.

Made an online appointment to have a diagnostic test done. I arrived 15 minutes early and was told Come back tomorrow. Were full. Mind you I had taken off to make this appointment. Very unprofessional

I scheduled for a 3pm appointment to repair my tire. I asked how long it would be and she said Id be out in 10-15 minutes. At 4pm they finally got to my truck, at 5pm it still isnt done. Nobody is communicating anything. Service is horrible, I would not reccomend this location.

Had an appointment for 10:30 am called at 3 pm still didnt get to my car had to call to get an update . Was told only one person was at work never again

We used to use this location for all of our car care needs until this spring. The location is convenient to our home and we enjoyed the experience. That was until two recent events. We purchased four new tires and the lifetime alignment from Firestone. Three weeks later, a factory recall on the car had us at the dealership. They had to cut the lug screws off and replace them due to them being over torqued so they could complete the repairs. Not a major issue (as long as you dont ever get a flat tire) but on the same occasion I noticed my new tires were wearing unevenly. I was happy for the lifetime alignment warranty I purchased. Most recently, I took another of our vehicles to them for an oil change. For two years this location has performed all oil changes on this car but on this day they told me they could not do an oil change because the car was burning oil. They said they topped it off (with oil) but I needed to take it to a specialist to see why it was burning oil. Hmmm. Typically you drain the oil, replace the filter, fill er up with oil again, run the car, check the dip stick, and youre done. They told me they didnt change the oil. At this time I was suspicious. I never got a warning light, no low oil indicator, and no ticking or banging noise that you would expect when your oil is low. Again, not saying they lied to me, but it didnt make sense. Took the car to the dealership, paid to have them inspect the car and of course, no leaks, not burning oil, and the only thing wrong was that the oil pan screw was stripped. So yes, had to pay an additional fee for Firestones mistake once again. Needless to say, I wont use this location again. I appreciate the previous years of good service and the savings it has afforded my family but its no longer worth it to me.

This place is the worst. I came for an oil change on a long-term rental because it was the only place I was allowed to go. I went from being “next in line” to still waiting 2 hours. Push your car somewhere else if you value your time at all.

Made an appointment for my girlfriend at 12. She got there 10 minutes early. Only needed 1 tire put on. Waited in the lobby for over 2 hours until finally the car was finished. Why make an appointment if the time slots mean nothing?

Good customer service for years going there

Very clean. I was greeted with a heartfelt hello and smile. My business seemed very important to them. Their goal was to make me happy with their service. My vehicle was thoroughly checked and everything was thoroughly explained. I felt very comfortable and they seem trustworthy. Ill definitely go back.

Literally go to ANY OTHER PLACE, like don’t even go here if it’s the last place on earth. Doesn’t matter if you have to drive to Alaska... drive there before going here.

Had 2 bring my truck back 2 times to change a tire sensor.20 minute job took 2 days to do.Worst tire service in Lafayette.

Currently this location is in shambles. The parking is horrible, made even more horrible by old junked vehicles sitting around. Convicts working here, wow. Is this a junkyard or a rip-off tire shop??

If you’re looking for a professional tire service center, this is the place! I googled centers for getting an alignment and they had awesome reviews, so I scheduled an appointment the same day. They welcomed me with exceptional customer service, detailed information and great prices and warranty (the best). Will be back again with my second vehicle.

About a month ago I brought my truck to Firestone to get it checked out because I was leaving on an out of state trip. I got my truck back and within an hour I had my truck packed and everyone loaded up. With 2 tires in the street and two tires in my driveway my tire comes detached from my truck. I was noticeably frustrated when I called firestone with the assumption that something they did messed my truck up (I know very little about vehicles). Upon further inspection we realized that my ball joint broke. Brian (store manager) and his techs Eric and Freddie fielded my frustration like pros..not only this but they stayed about 4 hours late (after hours) until 9 P.M. to replace all of the ball joints and get me on the road. Can’t say enough about my experience. Keep up the solid work and great customer care!

Ransom and Frank were very nice people, my only complaint was I had a three oclock appointment, and they didnt get my car into the shop until almost 7:00. I have a lifetime four wheel alignment, so I felt like, since the shop wasnt getting any money off of it they put my service off, and I live about 100 miles away.

I have tried to use firestone on two separate occasions. The first time I called and spoke directly to an employee who assured me that if I drop the vehicle off at 7 am by 7 pm they would be able to look at it. I called twice that day and still no inspection of the vehicle. I went and picked up the keys at 630 pm without them touching it. I decided to give them another chance and scheduled online. 7am on a monday. The entire day went by and no call. At 2 pm I walked over to the office and spoke to an employee asking if it will be looked at. The employee said yes. By 6:30 pm I had not heard anything. Again walked over grabbed my keys and my vehicle from the same position it was left. Not once in these 24 hours did they contact me to let me know they couldnt get to it. I would not recommend using them. Daves Auto service down the street will be getting my business for now on. Thanks Firestone

Firestone is open late, which is very helpful when your in a pinch. The location interior is pretty typical, but the outside is super cramped and hard to access. Service was good when I went one time.

I came to this facility around 4:00pm on 11/21/18 with a donut on the front right tire, a compromised back right tire, and no lug nut key. They were very busy as it was the night before Thanksgiving, but they made time for me. The men here were extremely knowledgeable and kind. They were able to place two new tires without my key and without damaging my vehicle. As a customer I felt valued and important. I highly recommend this facility due to the men that helped me this day.

Completely dishonest and will rip you off. Go to Ross instead. Firestone will tell you that your tire cant be fixed when they obviously can.

2 star because i gave them car to fix on 1 pm and they said it will take 2 hours and when i called back they said they will call back but they didnt. i again called back at 6 but still my turn had not come. And finally they said it cant be done today. I had no vehicles if they would have informed me that i would have come tomorrow why to lie by saying just 2 hours. People who cannot keep their words are useless so i am not going back.

Brought in my son’s truck for a leak and was told the water pump needed to be replaced that would cost over $500. Left from there and went to another mechanic that said nothing was wrong with the water pump and fixed the leak for $80.

Amazing service. We purchased a set of tires and 2 weeks later had a flat from a nail puncture. These guys fixed it without charge within 30 minutes we were out the door.

The whole place is on drugs. The Manager is incredibly rude and disrespectful and leaves your car smelling like drugs. And it takes 7 hrs to get tires changed. My daughter and I will never be back! AVOID!!!

These guys were great.I speak of Joe,Bryant,Eric,and Eric(actual mechanic on my car) The way they greeted me from the time I walked in was in a very friendly manner.Their professionalism in asserting the knowledge too me as I was explaining about my car.They were fast and quick with the diagnostic.I had a rack and pinion job done in which it took some days for the part to come in.So I ady back breaks done. Then within a few days or so my rack and pinion came in and that was done.Then rotors had to be ordered..That was done.But through it all these guys courtesy and professionalism was excellent!i would recommend this location with a quickness.I was very comfortable,not stressed,while drinking their fresh coffee, and watching television.Everything there was right.I drive a 1999 Acura3.0cl.when i left that place my car felt so right.Thank you guys at Firestone.Looking fotwardfto many visits.And I witness how fast customers were coming in and going out.Thanks guys...I appreciate all of it....Mrs.Beckie Sonnier

My experience was alright. I was given an estimate of about $2000 in repair suggestions after a routine service. Then was told they wouldnt do an alignment since there were many issues that would make it pointless. So I said not to do it. He charged me for it, and I mentioned that he said they wouldnt do it since it would be pointless. He took it off. Got in the car, and it turns out they did an alignment. Weirdly inconsistent in terms of that, but the service was fine. They scheduled me same-day despite the other location giving me a hassle for a week trying for an appointment.

Will buy all my tires from this Firestone. Customer service is 100 work is 100. Thanks guys

Had a VERY clean tire puncture, brought it in, I was stupid going there in the first place as the SAME day they Fixed it it was leaking again. Brought it back and they said the hole was too big to fix and I needed a new tire instead. Didnt give them my business again with the new tire, felt VERY confident if I wouldve done the patch myself it would not have leaked. DO NOT GO HERE.

Couldnt help me personally, as i had a deep engine issue, but the guys that worked there gave great advice, according to what they thought was going on with my car. And they ley me leave my vehicle there till the next morning, when i was able to drive it to a specialist in foreign cars. Thanks!

High quality service

Got four tires installed there and three of them were out of balance. Im thinking this was probably because I declined their lifetime balance service and opted for the cheaper one time balance. They also said I needed an alignment on both wheels however the car does not pull at all. I decided to pay more money and get it fixed correctly at a different shop because obviously they are incompetent if they cant even balance the tire which is the basic requirement to working at a tire shop

MISSING PROPERTYAfter renting a car for the weekend, which I agreed to bring the rental into Firestone for an oil change, because hey.....how long could that take? Well from 9:30am-3pm is how long it took. Plus l had a friends hard drive on the floor behind the passenger seat, seeing that I didnt intend to leave the car I didnt remove it before going. I called for a ride since it would be hours before touching the car, left the car, went back at 3pm for pick up, but didnt realize at that time the hard drive was gone. When my friend came home the next day and asked about it was when I realized it was GONE. A call to the store and speaking to the manager got me We dont have any thieves and my guys dont go through the cars. It was the only place the car went because it took all day to change the oil, but no accountability, no let me check into it, just TOTAL DENIAL. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN...... If you do MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE EVERYTHING

Brought my truck here in an emergency. Guy called and estimated $600 repair. Called someone else and could get same repair for $340. After it was repaired elsewhere, we found out that the original recommended repair would not have even fixed it!! MISDIAGNOSED and would have spent all that money and wouldnt even be working! WILL NEVER go there again.

I always use firestone on seigen lane in Baton Rouge but was out of town and decided to get four tires balanced due to a vibration that had developed since I last had them rotated. I called and made an appointment the day before and would wait at the location for the service to be performed. They told me when I arrived it would take 45 mins to an hour to complete. After an hour and a half I asked if it was almost finished and he said the just started working on it. Two hours later they finished it.

They are good. The accidently broke something on my truck and fixed it free like it never happen.

Took less time that I thought for work completion.

Ordered my tires and services online, and everything showed in stock. When my husband arrived, he was told the tires wed selected to fit our budget were not in stock and told he had to get tires that were nearly 150 more than we planned on spending. Because it was our only day off and we had damage to a tire and needed to replace all 4 badly, we had to go with it. We will not be back.

Whats the point in having an apt when its doesnt matter anyway? 1 hour after apt time the car finally made it into the bay. Expect an all afternoon affair...if this is a normal occurance, I would think that business would be affected. I will be taking my business elsewhere next time when I finally get out of here.
