As with every appointment I have at Bob Rohrman the staff was friendly, the service was quick, and they stayed in contact throughout to make sure there were no surprises when I came back to get my car. Ive only ever received exceptional service there and its a big part of why I intend to purchase my next car there as well.
Just purchased a vehicle through this dealership on 10/8. From my salesman Travis, to the General Sales Manager Avery, to the Finance Manager John, to the detail specialist Tommy, I felt very taken car of and listened too. All answered the questions and concerns I had and was willing to work with me on a deal that both of us were comfortable with. There were a couple issues with the car that they are paying to repair when I truly appreciate that. If you need a car go see Travis, and he will work with you and do what it takes to help you purchase the car. Tommy did some detailing for me on the car before I left and made sure to fix anything I noticed. The service was very good. Rich was extremely helpful.I have one complaint. I understand you no longer offer the little punch cards that allow customers to get a free oil change after every 5th one. This has been a nice little reward for customer loyalty and I do not think you should discontinue the program. I have been a loyal Rohrman customer for the last 23 years, owning 23 new vehicles during that time. A little perk like the punch cards provided is greatly appreciated.
We told them upfront that we were not buying any car today. We asked a few questions, and he went inside to check, but he never showed back until we had to Remind him again. They had no intention of selling any car!
Rich took extra time to explain a few things to me and it really helped. The service staff is always polite, courteous, and extremely friendly.

Financed a new vehicle from this dealer…Major problem: the dealership has not paid the taxes on this vehicle even though they charge me for them! …Now my temporary plates have expired…Contacted them and you know what the solution was? Just keep driving a car with it expired plates It will be fine🙄…I Contacted the local police department and DMV they told me that if I get pulled over I will receive at the very least …a $250 ticket and A possible impound of the vehicle …It’s on me to figure out how to register this vehicle because the dealership sure Is not going to do it…What a mess…And the financial manager Robbie is responsible for this …He has taken zero accountability and offered nothing But contempt and skepticism…
Got my car serviced. Rich was nice but the two lady cashiers were rude and very sassy. If you hate your job and hate dealing with people, then find a different career path. I dont understand how any managers would expect customers to walk away with a positive experience despite having good products or services if the customer service is absolutely despicable.

I wish I could give Zero stars! Took my car in due to a recall. Was told 30-60 minutes. 90 minutes later I ask how much longer. Was told that they hadnt even started on it. Told it would be another 60 minutes!! Finally got my car back after sitting at the dealership for 3 Hours!!!I own 2 Hyundais. Service better improve or there wont be a third!!
The people at Bob Rohrman Hyundai went above and beyond and I had a great experience purchasing my 2021 Hyundai Palisade from them. They were able to quickly find me the specific model and package that I was looking for even though I knew it would be difficult to find. They gave me a great price and a fair trade in for my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. I would definitely recommend them and will be a returning customer in the future.
We got a pretty good deal on a car, it was the car we wanted in our price range. There were some things that we were concerned about, like the car had not been detailed and there were chips in the windshield. We purchased the car on Thursday and they were hesitant to let us take the car home, due to the chips in the windshield, so we had to wait until Monday to pick it up. We also asked them to detail the car before then and they said no problem. We get the car back on Monday and they did not detail the car (it still smelled like cigarettes after they said they were going to do a car bomb, the owner beforehand’s information was still in the glove box; like her insurance card, loan detail, and the confidential paper work that she filled out when she got the car; also included in the glove box were wrappers and a white powder stuck at the bottom.) they asked us to come back on Friday, which we did, for paper work so that we could come back on Monday and just pick up the keys. On Monday they said they still needed to do the paperwork so we had to wait another hour. Aimee and Marvin were really nice to work with; however, Zach the store manager was a different story. He talked to us like we were complete idiots and assumed we knew nothing, a better phrase would be do you know much about ___?, Or would you like to learn more about ___?, Before lecturing strangers. He made us feel very uncomfortable from the way he was talking to us. Besides the car not being detailed and the managers customer service; our car saleswoman was really nice and easy to work with. I’d recommend Aimee.
After driving 2 1/2 hours to another dealership with a standing appointment to buy a vehicle then being told 15 min before our appointment the car had been sold we ended up at Bob Rohrmam.Our Sales Specialist was Payton. The vehicle we were interested in was in stock and we took a test drive. After working out the numbers we agreed to purchase the car. Payton did his best to get us the rebates and discounts. Nick and Robbie came in to go over the details of the sale. We were told there was a 500.00 security fee added to the sale but we were not told of this fee when going through the numbers the first time. My husband asked if they would remove the fee and they did.It was a stressful day from the get go after being told at one place they “sold” the vehicle we had an appointment to look at. I’m thankful for the good service but my only advice is make sure before you sign that paper work you know exactly what your signing and paying for. We felt comfortable and I would recommend giving your business to this dealership. From our first meeting with Payton, to signing paper work with Nick and Robbie we were treated fair and happy to say we are the proud owners of our sixth Hyundai product.Thank you Bob Rohrmam, Payton, Nick and Robbie for a positive experience.
I truly hate giving bad reviews, however this was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. First, they tried to change the price of the vehicle that was stated online. I took off work to make a 1.5 hour trip over to the lot because they finally said we will honor the price if you come today. 2nd they tried to say that couldnt certify pre-owned the vehicle because they already gave me too good of a price. They finally conceded. 3rd after telling me to wait for an hour before I came so they could get the certify work ie. Brakes, oil change, tires, detail. They did nothing and said we could come and pick it up the next day. I made an appointment to take it back a few days later, taking another day off work. I took it back and waited for 2 hours for them to tell me they didnt have the parts and I had to leave it there. After finally getting the car done and home, it took 2 and a half months to get the license plates which I had to take care of because the finance manager would not take care of the title work. So no I dont recommend this dealership.
It was a good experience of buying cars. However, this time of the year, theres definitely a higher car demand, I think dealers are being slightly careless about their car conditions since they know people will buy them anyway. In my previous purchase the dealer had the car sent for servicing before selling it to me. However, in this purchase my car-tires didnt have air, the car wasnt serviced or cleaned at all before the sale.
I came in for an oil change and tire rotation; however, service decided I did not need my tires rotated (unacceptable) and took almost an hour to change my oil. I had to schedule a 2nd visit to get my tires rotated and doubt they re-learned the tire positions after rotating them as this is the first time I have not had to reset my dash to the widgets I like to monitor.
If I could give this dealership a zero star review I would. My husband went on a test drive for a used Hyndai Sonata which the salesman, D.J. Campbell, estimated around 18,000-20,000 which made sense. They ran my credit because my husband just started a new job and at the time I was home with my kids. The salesman insisted on coming into my home so I could sign the paperwork. It was my understanding the total payment would be $18,000. As Im signing the paperwork, I get the last page and I see a grand total of $29, 820.58 with an 8.2% interest rate. It was upon negotiation I could take off extra fees such as warrantees after I signed. I was promised copies of paperwork in the mail and never received any of the purchasing agreements. We are currently not able to make payments and do not want this car due to terrible service and extreme lack of professionalism. I have never heard of a car salesman coming to a persons home to sign paperwork. My husband and I felt extremely pressured into this purchase. Needless to say, it was sketchy. When I tried calling the General Manager, Sergio Talvara, he did not return my call after calling several times over 4-5 days. So, I decided to go into the dealership to speak with him personally. After waiting about an hour to speak with him, he claimed his secretary got my calls and he tried calling me but have absolutely zero record of him calling me back. I was kindly expressing to him we will no be able to make the payments and are very concerned how the situation was handled. He was extremely rude by talking down to me like I was a child and claimed he is not a marriage counselor and is not trying to play hardball. I felt so threatened I was immediately in tears. Never in my 31 years of living have ever been talked down to by a so-called Service Manager. I left that day with his word that he would buy the car back if we couldnt make the payments. Now that its time to make a payment we still reach out to him on a daily basis with questions on when he will essentially keep his word and take the car back. I understand I will lose around $4,000 taking the car back, however I would rather do that than have to deal with this dealership one more day. Sergio has lashed out at me saying he is done and will not help me because I called him asking when he is going to help us. We are, to this day, waiting for a call. He has made several excuses about his absence in this process. Urgent care, meetings, and promised he will call soon. I have even had to get my Mother involved because we cannot deal with him anymore. Very immature, unprofessional, rude and threatening. You would be lucky to get a single phone call back from anyone here after your overly priced purchase. These workers do not help in terms of customer service. I received a call from the Finance Manager, Rob Hattabaugh, stating he would look at the extra fees they tacked on and would call me back about getting those taken off.. I never received a call back. I am currently 9 months pregnant and I cannot begin to explain enough the of immense amount of stress this has caused me and my family. Zero stars for me and my sincerest warning to NOT shop for your next vehicle here.
Buyers: There are a lot of bad reviews for Bob Rhorman/Hyundai in Lafayette, you just have to search a little harder. I’ve always heard they weren’t a good dealership years ago but thought I would see for myself. I found a 2014 Kia online and went to the shop and found it hiding behind the car wash and decided to purchase it for 13,995, the full price. They wouldn’t negotiate even when it needed 2 rear tires.When I got to the financing guy They tried pulling a scam on me without telling me that the car etching/ smart I’d and windshield protection is added on to all their vehicles for $399and $499. The finance guy tried telling me his machine locked up cause he couldn’t remove those add and asked if I wanted to talk to my Salesman, Conner cause he should of told me. I told him no I want to talk to the Manager. They tried to make it sound like he was going to be in trouble if I didn’t agree to it. Usually a finance guy will go over each detail of all cost but he just wanted me to sign and wanted to place blame on Conner but it was just there little scam! The sales manager came in and tried selling me on all these extras and then he easily removed the smart I’d but said he couldn’t remove the other! Another lie! The Sales Manager was trying to make a hard sell to me on windshield repair and at this point I’m like you need to honor our deal cause I have that coverage with State Farm and don’t need it. The FinanceManager also tried tacking on a $2,000 warranty that I didn’t agree to. I finally realized that the Kia they hid behind the car wash was a scam to get you on the lot. I’ve heard about these scams from other people. They wanted to argue over an extra $500. The Manager tried telling me after we made a deal that they were losing money on this car cause they priced it wrong. I walked away realizing that if the car had a problem they wouldn’t be the dealership I would want to work with! If you are looking to buy ask for all the total charges before going to the finance guy first and before letting them run your credit. It should only be 7% sales tax $199 document fee and then 2 small fees of $15 each for legit reasons. I told the Manager I know they get kickbacks from these Company’s and banks if they sell so many of these car etchings/smart I’d /windshield protection deals and it seem to shut him up cause he realized I wasn’t a dingy blonde. Lol. The funny thing is my Husband was waiting around town to make sure I would be able to drive the car home and I told him to wait around in case the finance dude tried adding on any extras and I said it in front of the guy and he didn’t laugh cause that was his plan all along!!
The sales rep, general manager, and finance manager were very nice and worked with me to get the best deal I could and meet my needs. The dealership is new and upscale, and the vehicles are great.
They got me in right away, completed my recall with no problems. Everybody there was very nice.

I just have to say is do not trust these people with so ever I have learned the hard way not to trust people from this car dealership. I bought a car that had under 65000 miles I got a ultimate extended warranty I didnt even drive the car 500 miles. They have not returned my phone calls the only thing that they did do is actually return my email stating that all I would have to do is pay my $250 deductible but the problem with that is cuz Ive already stuck out over $1,250 in Towing the car I gave him $4,800 down payment on a car it was not worth what they were asking. Where I think the at to do is take half of what I put down on that car and put it in the motor that should have been certified because thats what I was told it was was certified well it should have been certified for at least freaking 2000 Mi or at least to the next Oil Change but between them delivering it to me and what I drove it wasnt even five hundred miles. Although I have to say it before I just start to actually tarnishing their name they better do what is right. And fix with the gentleman if they had hired but in the end less than 30 days from the time that they sold the car that he sold the car to me they fired him. I hope they fix what have created because its only going to get worse from here. I will let the world know what this dealership has done and has not fixed and took advantage of a good well-rounded person that believes in the Lord Jesus my savior. I cold heartedly believe in him for he was telling me to just believe even when they asked me to lie to the finance company that I had possession of the car which I didnt at the time but I couldnt lie. Terrible people to work with. Either they dont know what theyre doing or they intentionally deceive you to so you agree to do more work than what needed to be done. Or both. They did not offer any explanations. I called back and after several tries, got ahold of someone who said that will bring it up to a manager. They never called me back. I texted them, messaged them on their website. Nothing. Stay away from this place. I only went there because my car is still under warranty and assumed and hoped they knew what they were doing. They dont. Again, STAY AWAY.

Not a great experience at all. I had to wait 25 min at showroom until someone finally approaches to help. During the negotiation process, salesperson simply didnt acknowledge and deny discounts that are being offered even though I could clearly see it on the screen in front of him. Multiple hidden fees were also brought up and they were never mentioned before. Basically the finally price was higher than MSRP.... I just had to walk out. I will not recommend this place to any young folks out there.
Terrible service, technicians have know idea what they are diagnosing (in my case) know nothing about cars lol bought my car from there great car terribly staffed will never go back been going for a year now and every time another reason why i wont go back.

My car was at Hyundai for over a month waiting on a response from Hyundai Corporate. The Lafayette, IN dealership does not handle special cases very well. I have never had any problems with my battery and was told my battery was dead and needed to be replaced. This same thing happened with my mother in laws vehicle when she had her motor replaced by the same dealership. My sister in law took her Hyundai to a dealership in Champaign, IL that also said her her battery needed replaced and that they had to jump it to move it around. She has never had issues with their battery either. This is very suspicious. I was told Hyundais system was down from Feb 12-18th and now the wait for an answer on repairs will be another 4-5 day wait. It has been 6 days and I still have not gotten an answer on repairs being covered. The dealership originally told me there is a $60 diagnostic fee but when I decided to pick up my car as I had been car-less for over a month, they charged me $120 because they said they looked into two separate issues. One which I never even asked to be dealt with. I was also told by a Hyundai Consumer Care that the knock sensor update shouldve covered all diagnostic fees however, the dealership told me no and said they would give me a $60 credit for future repairs... I had them put a new battery in my car so I could at least drive it off of the lot however, it is still leaking oil and I am still waiting for my dealership to respond on Hyundai Corporate covering the repairs since I have had nothing but issues with this car/motor from the day I purchased it from a private seller in 2017. I believe the previous owner knew of the class action law suit and/or the problems with Hyundai motors and wanted to dump the car fast. I feel this is something Hyundai should cover as it is still a car they made and my Sonata made the cut off for the Theta Engine Lawsuit. Overall the customer service Hyundai has provided has not been courteous or timely. I was given different information from Hyundai Consumer Care and different info from the dealership while playing the middle man between both for over a month. I am so frustrated and the dealership seems to only be concerned and promptly handle vehicles covered under the manufacturer warranty not with the older vehicles covered under the class action lawsuit settlement.
Once the dealer got the money, they didnt care that it took them beyond the legal timeframe to provide title paperwork. Jason Ausban wants cooperation from his customers, but has no problems stranding them when they cant legally drive their vehicle. The car may have been a good deal financially, but it was more frustrating using this dealer than it was worth. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...
The team was great and we got a car we love. Nick went through the whole parking lot, on a dark, chilly, rainy night making sure to find us the car in the right color with all the features we wanted and then we worked with Andrew in finance who made it a really easy process. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, great experience!

Though I ultimately did not end up purchasing a car from this dealership due to lack of suitable inventory, if I were to have based my purchasing decision solely on the salesperson, I would not have had to look anywhere else. My salesperson, Nick Zink, was personable, polite and I didnt feel like I was on the clock and under pressure to make a decision right then and there. And anyone who has ever shopped for a vehicle can appreciate that approach.
Service was perfect. Please ask the employees and customers to have their mask on all the time. That was not the case while I was waiting for my service.
I have never had to chase a car salesman before. Inquired about a vehicle, tried to negotiate remotely (covid safety) and got minimal responses, no follow up, countered and no response. Found they raised the price significantly online AFTER I showed interest. Claim it’s a local trade but it was a rental car, claim it has navigation but the window sticker doesn’t have that. Doesn’t answer questions directly. Just poor business practice. This is why there are many dealerships, can find what I want elsewhere.
Drove 3 hours to purchase a Genesis G80 on November 9, 2020. A piece from the hood was missing, leaving a hole in the front of the car. Instead of waiting for them to order and install the piece and driving back to pick up the vehicle, we opted to have them order the piece and have them send it to us. Despite the service manager telling us the piece had been ordered and would be sent to us, we STILL have not seen the piece. They will not return our calls or follow up with this problem. Not impressed.
Wish I could give 4-5 Stars, but considering the service department had my vehicle for 3 hrs to perform an oil change, I can only give 1 star. Everyone I spoke to was very pleasant and kind but I was not so satisfied with the amount of time they had my car. I had also asked for new wipers, which was totally ignored.

Friendly staff - Vick in the service dept treats his customers like he would like his family treated. Julie and the parts guy were nice. The facility is clean and they provide several amenities in their comfortable waiting area. The service staff in the shop are efficient and professional. My whole experience at this dealership for work to be completed on my Hyundai that I did not even purchase there was pleasant and quick. I would certainly recommend Bob Rohrman Hyundai to friends and family!

Thought a “friend” of mine was helping me out, but really all he cared about was making a sale. He knew I was in a tough situation and because he seen me on social media at a different dealership he knew he had to act fast and get me in his. Covered my down payment of $800 with his own money because the relationship we had and he knew I would pay him back every dollar. Lied about banks making the final price on my vehicle which made no sense but had no reason to doubt him because I thought he was helping a friend out.

I have had horrendous experiences with the service and sales department in the past. The only reason that I took my car back this time was to have warranty work performed. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the dealership. Victor (Asst. Service Mgr) made me feel at ease. He had a great attitude and treated me like a human being. I had to drop my car off on Saturday (no one would be at the dealership at the time I headed to work) for the work to be performed today. The communication about the work being completed was non existent. We had to call them and leave a message and then they finally called back to let us know that my car was “washed” and ready to be picked up. The work was completed but my 7 yr old grandson could have done a better job washing my car. All they did was smear the dirt around. I was extremely disappointed and had to head straight to the car wash and pay to have my car cleaned. I may consider using their service department again but they really need to improve their communication and car washing skills.
They took great care of me. Offered me a loaner before they had to. Kept in touch with me and was very easy to work with. They earned my business going forward and then some.

They allowed me to put a deposit on a used vehicle which made me feel more comfortable beings that I lived 2 hours away. Everyone I worked with was friendly, direct, and wanting to get as much of the paperwork started before I got there as possible. So far I couldn’t be happier with the way I was treated. The car buying experience was great. The general manager, Fabian and D.J., the salesperson we worked with were nothing but helpful. We were charged a $499 anti theft fee when finalizing the deal which I felt was just a way to get a little more money, but all in all fantastic.

UPDATED: changed from 1 star to 4Had terrible service on saturday, reached out monday to the service manager, Joe Abdul (no relation to Paula) and he was FANTASTIC, he totally corrected the problem as best he could and really seemed to empathize and get the work going. Mistakes happen because we are all human but the key is in admitting and correcting it. They did that. Will definitely return if anything else is neededORIGINAL:moved to the area. tried to get service for my hundai. we just needed a key. Scheduled an appointment for a saturday several weeks in advance, only to have them text me at 10:30 AM (note the open at 7:30 and close a NOON), that they dont have a technician to program the key. Then why didnt they tell me at in the morning so I could get it? Why did they ask for the VIN# the day before? Make no sense at all.

Absolutely awful service department. Spent 20 min. being passed around on the phone and nobody ever answered. They constantly drop the ball with customers . Absolutely No follow up and obviously a server lack of communication among themselves. Most Horrible experience Ever!

Kane Francis was our salesperson. He really made the process of selecting a vehicle easy. He explained in detail all the features and benefits of the 2017 Hyundai Sonata. Bought my used car there. Great car. Dealership will not answer or return calls for service. Very unprofessional.
Victor was polite and efficient in collecting keys and returning them after service.I did have a low tire pressure indicator light come on when I picked up the car and brought it back before I left the parking lot. Victor and the service technician put some air in the tire and away I went.
Great car! Purchased from out of state and Aaron helped make a difficult process much easier. Looking forward to receiving the title and plates in the mail.
