My experience with Sterling has been amazing. Shirley and Gil truly went to extraordinary lengths to get my deal done. I ended up with a great car at a great price with a great rate. I could not be happier! Car buying is always a stressful process since you have to worry about pushy sales tactics and dishonest sales people.. but not here. Worst service department. Service tech promises to have vehicle ready the next day. It didnt happen. We visted the service department on the 3rd day. Service tech said part didnt come in the day before and explain he called. The call didnt happen. Well any way he promised it would only take a couple of hours and be ready earl afternoon. Well its the next day and we are still waiting. I guess it take a week for 2 tires, brake job and an alignment. 🤔 the vehicle was purchased and only serviced at the Opelousas location.

Don’t chance it. They will try to hustle you if they can. They try to force tire protection, a bar code on the window so if your car is stolen, & a high extended warranty. You don’t need any of these & they know it. They hit my family member with a $500 note, 22% interest,& a $800 down payment all for six years. If they see they can get you they will. Careful with warranties, they will try to say it’s not covered once you lose your bumper to bumper. & you’ll get hit with a $105 diagnostic fee.

Salesman said he had the car in Opelousas, so we drove to Opelousas passing through Lafayette. We found out from a different salesman that the our salesman drove to Lafayette to get the car. Geez! Tell the freaking truth and dont waste peoples time. Ill never get that time back! On top of that, when we walked in the office, it smelled like arm pit musk. What an unprofessional experience! We just walked out after wasting our time.

If youre looking to wait 4 hours for an oil change for them to not even perform any recall work and have grease on your seats, then this is the place for you.Ive only been here twice for an oil change (and wont be back again), both times have taken 4 or more hours. This dealership will not be getting anymore business from me.

My husband trades our vehicles in often. This was our first time dealing with Sterling automotive, in Opelousas. Forget the rest. Were found the best. Cody Groce was absolutely amazing. We never had so much fun, spending money, as we did here. They are also very accommodating. We were amazed. Thank you Cody & Sterling Automotive GMC crew. My husband traded his 3/4 ton in for a dually. My highlander will be traded in for a Buick or GMC in 3 yrs. A big high 5 to Cody!

Im going to start this by saying I am truly sorry for this happening because I thought sterling ford in opelousas and all sterling dealerships were different. I bought another work truck this year from sterling in opelousas with the impression that we would still be entitled to free oil changes. I even asked the service manager, sales associate, finance manager, and sales manager if they still offered said program and I was expressed by not one, not two, not three, but four people I felt that I could trust that it was still active. I went today to get one of the nine vehicles I have purchased in 3 years serviced and was denied. I know what you may be thinking, you have 9 vehicles what is an oil change to you? The money aside I feel taken advantage of, lied to, and embarrassed to the fact that they took advantage of a consumer. When I brought this matter to the dealership even after the history I have with them they played plausible deniability even with recordings to save face. I am completely disgusted with how the sterling dealerships handled the matter and I expressed to them being in market for yet another vehicle for my business I would never use them again. I highly recommend no on shop at any sterling facilities because behind the persona they do not respect or support the consumer, their responsibility, and worst yet Acadiana and what we stand for.With warmest regardsEric

I would never ever buy any automobile from Sterling, We bought a 2018 Sonata from them and it had to go in shop 4 times we traded it in on Elantra and yes guessed it sold us 2 lemons can not get them to assist you been trying to get them to get this car out of our name and no customer service what so ever !!!!!
