Very incompetent and dont care about the customer. I took my pixel 3a for an LCD replacement as phone had black ink all over it so I could gain access to my 2FA codes and migrate to a new phone.I was sold on an insurance service that will reduce cost for me, turns out the insurance is only for data recovery, why will I pay someone in 2021 just to migrate my data from the cloud to my phone?I ended up paying for a full service screen replacement and insurance, I didnt complain since the service I originally requested wasnt done. I agreed to pay and get this over with.The day after I get a call saying oh by the way in addition to the screen replace I will need to pay for a new a battery $70. Meanwhile my phone was in good condition when I dropped it off 24 hrs ago, and they were able to do data transfer with no issues.After pushing back guess they realized their error and accepted battery cost on the house. I didnt hear from them until I called about an hour to close and the bombshell was dropped on me.My phone was so called water damaged and hence my motherboard is fried so I will need a new phone. Apparently the one who did my data transfer didnt follow.proper protocol and the one who worked on it today also didnt follow protocol and ended up rendering my phone useless.But its my fault for bringing in a water damaged phone and opting for discounted service, the insurance plan they sold to me.I have left the phone with them, since its useless now and now I have to spend the next few days trying to regain control to some of my critical apps because I had 2FA on the phone.Very bad experience!! Should have read the reviews here before going, they might be good at other things, replacing pixel screens isnt one of them! And when things go wrong they try to blame you for it. Wont be back definitely. Thanks

Took my phone there to replace the screen, was told 4 hours and didnt hear anything. Went the next day and had to wait an hour. Nobody ever communicated what the delay was. Picked up my phone and they broke the power button. Told me I was on my own and to contact the manufacturer as they werent going to replace it. Sent it to the manufacturer and now Im being charged $118 for something I didnt break. I dont want anyone contacting me either. Yall had 2 chances to make it right and didnt. Avoid this place and the manager there as he had zero ability to own the techs mistakes and make it right.

Ive gone a few times and Ive always had pretty good customer service in terms of friendliness and knowledge. Speed and efficiency in getting to customers, however, is not prioritized. I have waited over 30 minutes to be talked to, and I was second in line. Maybe circumstances were not the best, but usually there is only one person up front and they dont seem to ask for help. However, quality of repairs are great. Everyones friendly. Id recommend this place, as long as you go later in the day. (Before or around one to pick up at 4). 10 AM is the worst time to go. Anyway. Thanks guys. You could improve but youre doing great.

Could not be more pleased with my experience. There was a slight issue with if it was a warranty claim or not, but everything was sorted out. Called on 3/22/2021 for a screen replacement for a Pixel 4a 5g. Was informed they were out of the screen adhesive, it was ordered, and would be in on 3/23/2021. I called back on 3/23/2021 and was told that they have been out of the screen adhesive for the past 2-3 months with no known date of getting more. Which employee is right? I will never know.

Iphone could not hear out of speaker went in to have it checked out, clerk came back and said it needed this and that and would be 3 days before I got the phone back and it would cost a $100 the very first time I went in to that store for the same problem a young woman waited on me, cleaned the speaker for me at no charge, went home and cleaned it myself and fixed the problem I was being lied to which I dont appreciate and I blame the owner for not being there to make sure his people are running and honest business unless they are following the owners ordersI will never go in that store again

Walked in with a broken screen and walked out with a better than new phone.I shattered my screen and half of it was completely black. In less than 2 hours they had replaced my screen and gave me advice on a good case and screen protector. They were very quick and professional, I would recommend them to anyone.

This was a very frustrating experience. I brought the phone in for a screen repair under an insurance claim. Whenever I picked up the phone, the technician mentioned that the repair was very difficult and that he had to change out the back and the fingerprint reader and the battery in addition to the front glass. He then told me that if there were any issue to contact the insurance company. It turns out there were issues. The screen was fixed, but the fingerprint sensor and proximity sensor were both no longer working.After some frustrating interactions with the insurance company (which werent necessary), they pointed me back to the store (which makes sense, since the store should be responsible for the botched repair).I should mention now that uBreakiFix apparently does not like to answer their phone.Upon bringing the phone back the next day, the technician said he had started on a different repair already and that mine would be next in line. When I called and finally got someone to answer the phone much later in the day, he said that a few other phones were in front of mine (you are fixing a job you botched! How is that not top priority?!) and that mine was next up. I called again at 6:30, and was told that he was now checking to see if things worked (while Im on the phone with him). They didnt, and hed call back in about 30 minutes. He didnt. I called and left a message for a manager to contact me.The next day, manager Keith calls and lets me know that hell be working on my phone himself. A little later he calls to inform me that the phone will need to be replaced. They are going to buy a replacement device - same model - and that theyd let me know when it was in.So now Im without my phone for nearly 2 weeks. I call multiple times on Monday (when it should be in), and get a lot of answering machine.Tuesday, I call and leave another message. I get a call letting me know that the phone is in. I pick it up, in a bit of a hurry. The guy who gives me the replacement is not Manager Keith. He tells me that the phone is brand new. He specifically says, not refurbished. The phone is most definitely refurbished. There are chips in the paint near the charging port and the speaker grills arent all that clean.I dont have a problem with the phone being a refurbished device. I have a problem with the terrible service, and then being told that the phone is brand new when it is not.TL;DR: Terrible service that took forever (because they had to fix damage they created) all with a heaping serving of dishonesty. Ill be sure to use a different phone repair place in the future, and Ill advise friends and family to do the same.

UBreakIFix was cheaper than the 4 other cellphone repair companies that I called and I feel confident in trusting them with such an expensive phone. When I came in to pick up, he shook my hand and told me it took him 5 min to complete the simple repair and there was no charge but to please keep them in mind for any future work. They fixed my phone and made it brand new

Incompetent, when I requested a manager at 4:45 there was no manager to speak to. I brought the phone there 4 times.The first time I dropped the phone off at 11 am on a Saturday, I call them at 5 to check on the status of my phone and I was told it was finished. I arrived there and was told they couldnt fix it because their calibration stand for my phone broke. I was understanding, Sh#t happens. So, I went home, I had come to find out they failed to properly connect a wire in the phone which caused it not to be able to charge.I brought the phone back the Monday. They worked on it for almost an hour to get the wire reconnected. My third time, the insurance claim went over 2 weeks since the claim. When I tried to make the claim again Assurion site was all bugged and it didnt let me extend the time. After they told me at the store that the stand broke they told me they would call when the stand would come it. Well that came in a few days ago, im still waiting on that phone call

I had to travel an hour and a half from out of town to bring my Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G to this shop to repair a cracked front screen.After being told it would take no more than a couple of hours to repair the screen on the phone, when I arrived at the shop the estimate was now 5 to 6 hours. Being from out of town I decided to venture off and do some shopping in Lafayette while waiting on my phone to be repaired.Approximately 2 hours after dropping the phone off, I received a phone call notifying me that while the repair technician was removing the front glass he shattered the back of the phone as well. When I asked how long this would take to repair, I was told they didnt have all of the parts in stock and it would be Wednesday the 11th before the parts would be there from their vendor, and my phone would be fixed by the end of business that day.On the 11th I waited for a call from UBreakIFix until around 4 that afternoon, it never came, so I called the shop. I was informed that the parts for my phone never arrived in the days shipments and they didnt have an estimate on when the parts would arrive. I was also told it would be a few more days before the phone would be ready for pickup.At this point I was livid, a few hour repair had now turned into 3 days and they couldnt tell me for sure when my phone would be fixed. Not to mention them breaking the phone more while attempting to repair it...I called AT&T as this was an insurance claim and they referred me to Assuron the insurance provider. When speaking with the insurance agent and explaining my situation the agent contacted UBreakIFix to inquire as to the status of my phone. The insurance company was going to overnight me a new phone and I would ship back the old phone once it was repaired.After the agent called the repair shop, I received a call back from the Assuron agent telling me that UBreakIFix had miraculously found the parts for my phone that they said didnt arrive in the days shipment and my phone would be ready by the close of business (7:00pm) this is well after 5:30 pm and Im a 1.5 hour commute from Lafayette, no possible way for me to make it by closing to pick up.Picked up my phone on Thursday and checked it out and it all LOOKED good to go. I thought this goat-rope was over...Fast forward less than a WEEK LATER on Wednesday I take out my Spen to jot down a few notes and my Spen will not write on my $1400 phone like its designed to do. I made several attempts to use the Spen without success on my Note 20 so i used it on a Samsung Note 10 confirming that it wasnt my Spen that was defective.After calling Samsung directly I was informed that 1 of 2 things happened here:1) UBreakIFix didnt use a Samsung OEM screen because they are expensive. It would not be the first time a repair shop used aftermarket screens for repairs due to reduced cost... Reduced cost equal higher profit margins.2) Or they did use the correct screen and didnt connect all of the screen related connectors for the Spen to track and be recognized by the new digitizer. Samsung stated that they should have performed diagnostic test confirming the Spen and all other options functioned before releasing the phone as repaired. Clearly in this case they didnt do that..Moral of the story, UBreakIFix is incompetent at best. At worst theyre using cheap Chinese aftermarket screens, on Samsung products, to increase the profit they make on repairs. They also broke more on my phone than they fixed - back screen and the Spen functionality.Now I have to make another insurance claim, to have the phone either repaired again, or replaced. Which will leave me without a phone even longer. Not to mention, it will cost more money out of my pocket on deductibles and having to commute to bring the phone to another repair shop.UBreakIFix Techs name: Keith A.

I just brought my phone to get the charging port changed on my phone knowing that this would cost me $60-$70.00. They took my phone in the back and had the charging port cleaned and working within minutes. Appreciate the honest business! They could have easily told me they changed the port and charged me $70.00.

The tech was beyond knowledgeable and went above and beyond to fix my device. No, the device ended up being unrepairable (phone in water), but I will return in future with other devices. I will recommend this place and techs to everyone! The tech did everything he possibly could to repair it and stayed late to help me recover photos from damaged phone via icloud. Heck, even the reps at Apple didnt provide this type of help and know how, and it is THEIR product.

I filed an Insurance claim through Asurion. I dropped phone off to get fixed they called me within 30 minutes and told me it was ready. I picked up phone. Within 10 minutes of picking it up the top of the screen quit working. Called ubreakifix and they told me there was NOTHING they can do. Very unsatisfied. They don’t guarantee their work.

I had to drive from Lake Charles LA to Lafayette LA to have my Galaxy Note 10plus looked at due to a software issue. I was informed by Samsung that this was the closest authorized repair station. I was disappointed with Samsung and the notion of having to travel to have a warranty issue addressed with my phone. Well, Kerry and Keith made the drive, the weeks of trying to gain a resolution with Samsung, Google, and Best Buy totally worthwhile. Their genuine customer service with not only myself but the two others who came during my time there was superb! I would recommend them to anyone and wouldnt hesitate to make the drive again if necessary! A+ guys!
