I did not think to check the expiration date on the loft of garlic bread I got from this place. Turns out it was 13 days past due. I got home and opened it and it was completely covered in dark thick green mold. So they do not rotate or check for out of date things here. Be careful.

When u go to this store you have to pay close attention to your meat because half of the time some of the coolest are not working and the meat smelling.. then sometime some of the meat is left on the shelf too long to wear the meat is brown cuz its rotten and they never took it off

Shoppers Value has some of the best deals for meat. They also have some great sales on many items.

Very nice store and the people that work there very nice. I shop there because I do come out better for buying groceries there. Granted I cant get everything that I want but what I do I save money.

They always have rotten meats sitting right next to the fresh meats. Produce is always rotten. They dont keep the hotdogs in the fridge but in a big buggy in the back. Food here might make you sick, so be careful getting anything that is parishable. Even the frozen food isnt safe cause they will let it thaw and put in back in the freezers.

Meat dept.is a disgrace. Meat was brown smell was nasty!!!!!

I love the store when I’m trying to be on a budget but be very careful on what you buy at the store because the meat isn’t always fresh and the fruits and veggies are always wilted because they be old and sometimes have mold a lot of these products or not fresh so just make sure when you are there you get the best of the best that they have in the store at a time

Best grocery store. The prices are on point. The produce and meat department are great. The deli has good plate lunches. The cakes are great. And it is ALWAYS clean. By far one of the best grocery stores in Lafayette. People need to know.

Good prices and friendly employees. But really have to watch the expiration and best by dates.UPDATE : Ill leave the 3 stars for the friendly people But Ill move on to another store. Went there today and just way to many items are not just a few days past best by or expiration dates but there were things up to a YEAR beyond the dates. I know you have a lot of vendors but I also know its common practice to spot check them. Someones not doing their job.

If you go and buy meat from there make sure you look at it very well and check the date because they do have some that is good but alot of it is not I have told the manager and showed them and they didnt do a thing about it shame on them

Terrible! The place is filthy! The hand baskets and buggies are filthy! At a time like this with (cov19) going around you would think these places would keep their stuff clean! I love this store. I do my main shopping here. I am in this store at least every other day, sometimes every day, buying food for my family. They have very good meat specials and item specials here, and I love that there are so many 88¢ items. Some of their 88¢ items are twice as much elsewhere. I am a very frugal shopper, and Im always looking for specials. I feel you really get allot of bang for your buck in this store.The only thing i dont like with this store is that you must pay attention to your checkout screen and receipt, because sometimes prices are not listed correctly in their computers, so sometimes items do not scan up at the correct price. But if you tell them, they will correct it... Also, i wish i could use my receipts in ibotta for rebates, but this store is not included in their list of stores 😕

Has an odd oder ....stood in a line for 18 min with 1 register open while a group of people gathered there change together to pay for a case of cheap beer. Not going back

Not the cleanest grocery store that I have ever been in, trash all over the parking lot, baskets scattered around the parking lot, & people eating out of the hot food line. Prices are +10% which are misleading as the prices listed on items are low. Produce is more expensive than others. Check out clerks need more training on how to be polite to the customers.

I could not find a package of strawberries that didn’t have spoiled ones in them. When I was there April 22 they still had Valentine’s Day flowers in the cooler. The prices are not that good and especially when you get to the checkout and then add another 10% to your bill This was my worst grocery shopping experience ever. The only good thing was there was a quick check out

Formerly a Winn Dixie, the store is on par with Wal-Mart - seedy parking lot in disrepair, not very clean, and not the safest feeling. Decent produce, but you have to be careful. Same story with the meat. Poor selection on frozen vegetables. The prices are okay on some things. Helpful staff. I usually shop elsewhere if I can.

This store is not the fanciest but is so cheap on just about everything. I also love the customer service here. I be my new favorite grocery store

The prices at Shoppers Value are too high. When we first started shopping there they were reasonable but now they have gone up. Why would someone want to pay more for lower quality? And their stores are not very clean.

I always enjoy shopping here because the people are friendly, and the prices are very low making it the best value I know for grocery shopping.

They are not cheaper no good values there... I just left basket paid for my coffee an went to another store with cheaper prices. For the same items.

The prices really are great, but a little hard to calculate, since you have to add 10% to every item. Selection varies and is limited. Do NOT go here for pharmaceuticals and hygiene needs. Deli food is surprisingly good.

Security guard is on duty working and after standing in line about 15 minutes a cashier walks up to another register and the security officer runs in front of everyone to check out his eggs and whatever else when he is working until closing. Why not wait until the line is empty and why did the cashier allow him to do That?

They have a good selection and good prices, I will typically buy meat products here, but I refuse to buy produce from this store. Everything in that section is spoiled, or close to it and trying to figure out the price of the actual goods is a nightmare when the aisle says its on sale and the poor cashier has no idea how to put that in.

When i walk on the aisle 1 to get me some red beans I seen some water soda it was a big spill on the floor i went tell the girl at register 4 and she told me look we already know i told her to call her manager she said look he getting some baskets outside he busy i told the girl at the register that asile 7 have a spill and the manger was coming from out side and he got mad and told me to get out the store cause i asked him why the girl saying everyone knows about a spill and he went get some baskets out side someone could have fell and hurt there self he made the police put me out the store and he grab my items out of my hands that was being ugly and i want to talk to the bossnow

Its has a friendly environment and has some very reasonable prices and I would advise anyone go shop if only just once.

Prices are great for some things, others are average or slightly below. Just always remember that they upcharge your net total by 10%, because, allegedly, the prices showing are at the stores cost.

Prices are ok.veggies not on point.onions were rotted with brown and green in the core.also 2 potatoes were rotted in bag. Not good.will not be buying veggies here no more.

Ordered three dozen simple cupcakes and an 8 cake on WEDNESDAY, go again on THURSDAY to make sure everything was okay even got the bakerys number and texted her a picture of how I wanted everything to look and when I go today on SUNDAY to pick them up for a little boys 6th birthday and NO CAKE or CUPCAKES!! They go on to tell me they forgot an didnt see the order. First time doing business with them and the very last time! I could understand if I order it the day before or something. But 5 days before is no excuse!!
