Rolled in on my speed demon (road bike) a little unsure about the support I would receive, but the staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and kind and even taught me about how to take better care of my bike.And funny on top of that. Was in and out stress free. I recommend this place for anyone who may not be familiar with shops in the area and anyone who enjoys good customer service.

Above and beyond service. The folks that work there really seem to care. Not only am I able to have my bike serviced or buy gear, but I learn something new and helpful with every visit.

Terry and the guys are awesome. Fast service and on point! Other shops wanted 1-3 weeks for service and these guys put on my new Eagle Drive Train in less than 48 hours. Everything is perfect! Terry even fixed my creaking seat at no additional charge.

These guys let me roll in in need of a brake adjust on an older 26 hard tail with basic mechanical disc brakes. Terry and Brett just stopped what whey were doing and tuned me up on the fly. This is the kind of bicycle shop that clearly operates with a “labor of love” philosophy at its core. If you are in town, stop by to get some good vibes and service with heart.

These guys are fantastic. Theres something about shopping local...you get one on one specialized service and these guys know their stuff. My boyfriend and I are first time mountain bike buyers. Going into a bike shop can be a tad intimidating when you dont know what youre looking for. Terry and the other staff at Laguna Beach Cyclery take all that anxiety away and provide excellent service that makes you feel at home. We purchased two Giant bikes at a great price. Terry made sure we rode around on them to confirm they were the right size and fit, showed us how to take the tires off, how to lube our bike chains, gave us advice on maintenance, they made some custom adjustments for us and we couldnt be happier. This is hands down the best cycling shop (both road and dirt) Ive ever come across. They are as passionate and knownledgeable as anyone in the business, but even more so, they are honest and incredible people. Patrick and his team treat everyone like family. We moved to Boston and this is still our go-to place for everyone in our family. They even turned my 4 year old on to biking! Thank you Patrick!

I was in desperate need of getting some Tannus wheel liners. Not only much faster than Amazon could do but much less expensive. Bret over there is also a wealth of knowledge and experience! He was able to answer all of the questions I had about the items I needed!Really cool shop as well in Laguna. Drove from Long Beach to pick up liners and will gladly make the trip again as it is well worth the drive to support good people like them

Took in my 6 year olds bike in for a tune up! It had a strange squeak and needed some love. The next day his bike was ready for pick up, looking like a new bike! For a reasonable price the squeak was gone and the whole bike was cleaned and shiny. There are friendly and knowledgeable people working every time we have been.

This is one of the few local and community bike shops left in the OC. These people are awesome, and real pro in what they do. Fast turn around on service. I am grateful to have them here in Laguna. Super Stoked and will always buy and service my bike here.

I broke a spoke this morning while training on my mountain bike and was in a bind. I’m in the final few weeks of my training for a race coming up this month and am riding everyday. I have no time to have my bike out of commission and every bike shop is backed up for service. Luckily, my local bike shop here in Laguna Beach, was willing to put in extra time and get my spoke fixed. Shockingly, they were able to fix it and give it back in a few hours! They went out of their way to make sure I was covered. This is the 2nd time I’ve used these guys and both times they were awesome!Thanks LBC!

Went to various bike shops in Santa Monica, El Segundo, Culver City, and Newport Beach looking for a Frog Bike for my 4 year old daughter. These bikes are age specific. I found the right size in Laguna Cyclery. Parking was available and the guy at the counter was nice and helpful. Unfortunately her bike was stolen. I will be purchasing another one soon.Purchased another bike for my little princess. She is very happy.

Dropped my bike off to be fixed. Asked them to fix the problem, and do a service if needed. They ended up fixing the problem, checking the brakes, along with other service related things. They ended not doing the service because it wasnt necessary at the moment. Nice to have an honest bike guy in town not willing to do some unnecessary work to make a couple extra bucks.

My family has been going to this bike shop for years. the men in my family never seems to be given trouble however, my mother and I always receive attitude, little help, and overall poor service. As a women, who has given this shop many chances to be better I Would not recommend going to the shop. The staff always misplaces the bikes and seems to not know what is going on. And if you think they will help you with the loading and unloading of your bikes you are very wrong.

Rude employees, I was asking for advice but he didn’t care to hear me. That was his answer, literally.

I called and asked about new brakes for my ebike. They responded by text that they just put new Magura brakes on same model bike and they worked great $125 a wheel, when i inquired what the model they were quoting and did the cost include a new rotor, they said i should go back to my retailer. Not the best service, i wouldnt buy anything here.

So disappointed. I purchased an Intense Primer Pro build from these guys about six months ago. I was working with Terry, and he was AMAZING. He was genuinely excited about riding, and seemed to really want me to get into a great bike. Now, I went in a couple days ago to get some new brake pads on a Saturday morning. There were two guys working, and not a single customer in the place. I asked if they had pads that would fit my bike. They told me there was so many types Id have to bring my bike in. I let them know I just purchased it from them six months ago, and asked if they could look it up. They just kind of shrugged, but didnt offer to do it. So then, I got on my phone and looked up the component in about a minute. It was that easy. I then let them know Id just purchase it online, and walked out. So sad that weve lost our only local shop. What a terrible experience.

After a couple months of acquiring all the components necessary to build my steel hardtail, I was finally finished and needed a shop to put the bike together for me. I called around to other bike shops close to me but all of them gave me absurd wait times before they could start building the bike. I decided to call Laguna Beach Cyclery which is a farther drive away from me, but I’m very glad I did. Terry told me to bring all the parts in and he could have the build finished by the next day. I hurried down that same day and dropped everything off. The next day as promised my dream hardtail build was complete! Everything was put together solidly and with great detail. I shred on it hard 3 to 4 times a week. I’ll be coming here for all my bike needs from now on.

After having both my bikes crushed by FedEx in sending them out to CA from NY I needed a great mechanic used to higher end stuff who could do the job, give me receipts and get it done quickly. Brian was outstanding and would trust him with my DeRosa if I ever get the courage to ship that out. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. They were about a fair as one could ask, did not pad the bill in any way and did it right the first time. I cant say enough good things about them other than I wish I didnt have to have the repairs in the first place.

Exactly what i was hoping for.But there’s more: the owner offered for me to demo his personal bike, which was high on my short list. The ride was so good, that it helped me make up my mind, and I’ve since ordered that bike from my local shop in Portland.Really appreciate the service and getting a rip in that bike.Thanks, folks!

Very helpful staff. Price was same at several rental shops. Located just 5min from fishermans. Fast bike delivery. We did the Golden bridge in two hours. Great routes available.

The rental was awesome. I flew into town from Colorado and definitely wanted to ride some So-Cal trails while I was in town.   The whole bike rental and ride experience through Laguna Cyclery was a Best-In-Class experience.Was the reservation process easy?  It was very straight forward and easy.  Made a call to the shop before I got into town to check if everything was going to be ready when I got there.  Great customer service and I knew it was going to be a great experience.Was the rental equipment in good working order?  The bike was in great condition and set-up and ready to go within a few minutes of me getting to the shop.   I had an awesome ride through Aliso Wood Canyon trails.Was the staff friendly and helpful? The staff was very friendly and professional.   It was awesome to meet Terry.  He was a huge help and because of his great attitude made the whole experience very fun.  We come into town every year and I will now always make a bike rental from Laguna Cyclery part of my vacation.

Go to this shop! I was on vacation, and wanted to rent a nicer rental mountain bike. I found a good selection of nicer rental bikes! Terry was excited to help, and offer insider information on which trail would fit my style of riding. This all added up to a AWESOME day on the mountain bike. I left from there shop then pedaled 25 miles including Lizard, and missing link, stagecoach. I have worked at shops most my life, but I didnt have time to check the bike over, but I didnt need to! The Mountain bike shifted, and performed perfect, so did my lungs at SEA LEVEL.

Went in to get some help after being close by on a ride and needed to replace a part real quick but when asked for parts, the most expensive was pulled out and was told they had no others even though there were many other cheaper ones on the wall... Didnt even wanna work with us, just told us sorry but we do accept credit cards over the phone too

Great! I stopped in from Washington State to grab a rental and check out the hills in Laguna. These guys are really helpful and knowledgeable of their area. One of the techs in particular stands out Jeff (thanks Jeff!) He is all over DH FR AM and got me set up and a great bike specialized enduro comp and gave great advice on where to explore, every suggestion, warning and detail was spot on. I will go back for sure.

Great bikes, not as pricey as I thought it would be for Laguna Beach none-the-less little bit more than I want to drop.

Brought my mountain bike down for a day of riding the local trails and stopped by Laguna Beach Cyclery for some recommendations. The folks there were very helpful and pointed out the best trails for my day of dirt. They gave me a map and pointed out which were the more intermediate-friendly trails. My husband, a beginner MTB rider, needed to upgrade his ancient helmet and found a replacement there. These guys are awesome and take the time to answer questions with excellent advice. Their store has everything any cyclist would need (or want) ...

I dropped into Laguna Cyclery in August 2013 and picked up a rental MTB.As they didnt have one rental bike available in my desired frame size, they just gave me a brand new Specialized MTB intended for sale instead. I didnt even have to ask for it.The guys are super friendly and they know all the good trails around Laguna and help out with good tips for a great day up in the hills.Had a wonderful day there biking above Laguna.And the place (exterior and interior) is one of the coolest bike shops Ive ever been to. :-)I can only recommend the guys!
