This was the first shaved ice we had in Hawaii and every other we had after does not compare. We even tried one of the highly regarded competitors (usually considered the best) but the adult ones here are unrivaled. Cant wait to try it again!

Shaved ice here is absolutely delicious! We’ve tried the mudslide and the strawberry guava daiquiri and both were great! They also have yummy banana bread! The line takes awhile but is definitely worth the wait! My order was wrong today but they were happy to fix it! Mahalo!

This place has a variety of flavors and they also have acai bowls! This place is perfect for a quick stop! Nothing special though. But I still would recommend if youre in that area.

Super busy shave ice stand next to Down the Hatch. In spite of the crowds of indecisive patrons, the staff never lost their smiles. My only complaint is that half my shave ice was utterly untouched by syrup - it only covered the top portion of my serving. I chalk it up to how slammed they were, but I was still disappointed. Flavors were very good.

Taste good however the flavor was just on the top. After couple spoons I only ate plane ice.My daughter wanted a sticker and surprisingly they sell it for a dollar.

The Mai Thai is the way to go if you go for an adult shaved ice. The daiquiri was uninspired.Edit: the Mai Thai isnt vegan. BOO. 🐮 Mai Thais are usually vegan so that was an unpleasant surprise. :(

Would not recommend the smoothies... Too frozen to drink at first & once it melted a little it was super watery. Ended up throwing it away because it was just making me sad :(

The shaved ice was super icy, I had to chip away at it with my spoon and the flavors were very bland. At the end of the bowl the only thing I was left with was flavorless ice. They were also pretty slow. I recommend Ululani shave ice, I had both and ululani is soooo much better in all aspects and it is about the same price

I wanted to love this place but the woman serving me was absolutely MISERABLE. Looked like she wanted to kill me as I ordered my açai bowl and coffee. My bowl was ok but pretty sure she forgot to put strawberries in and then I was too scared to ask so I ate it anyways.

I would give zero star if I can. Açaí bowl is unnaturally sweet and the manager said “oh there is nothing added” when half the bowl is sugar. Very disgusting. I want a refund.Same thing could be said for the Pitaya bowl. Have you ever had a real pitaya? It’s a shame that pitaya bowl in the US has a completely different meaning. It has no pitaya flavor and again full of sugar. These health scam stores are the reason America has the number one rate of obesity. I wish they keep these unhealthy things off the island.

They have some really good shaved ice. I didnt get any that had alcohol l, but others in my group did and they were really pleased with theirs. Definitely recommend this place.

Literally the best acai and pitaya bowls I’ve ever had. The shave ice was lovely but we went back 4 days in the week for the bowls for breakfast. Huge for the price, the freshest and best flavor combos and we had others on Maui. How to find comparable in Atlanta, sigh

Maya took awesome care of me and my buddies. I got the strawberry daiquiri/piña colada shaved ice on her recommendation during happy hour. On point!!Located on the ground floor of the Wharf Cinema Center across from Down The Hatch. The whole crew was pretty fun too. Not just Maya with the hot accent. They recommended a sunset sail and zip lining for the few hours that we had open. Definite recommend. It’s cool to go to a place where the staff is engaged in what they’re doing.

We had brunch at down the hatch and this place was located next to it. My Bf and I were pretty excited about the adult shaved ice they had. It honestly was not that good at all and wish I stuck with normal shaved ice instead.

Kind of an automatic stop after Down the Hatch. You get 15% off here with your receipt. Had a cold brew coffee that tasted great. Maybe I’ve been going to Starbucks too much but $4 for a large cold brew iced coffee seemed a good deal. Great place to stop before walking around the Banyan tree so you have something to sip on. The paper straw was a little different but hey, it’s nice to save the environment. :-)

Im visiting Maui once in a while. Ive heard good things about Breakwall Shave Ice so I decided to try it out. I ordered Strawberry Guava alcoholic shave ice. It was too much alcohol there thats why I didnt like it. The other thing is....STAFF- no aloha spirit, slow and unfriendly. I was talking to Venezuelan girl working there (I think she said shes a manager there, but Im not sure), and she hasnt smiled even once, didnt ask how are you, for sure she doesnt like her job. Her responses were short and rude. I ate my shave ice and left the place. Ill never come back.

I ordered a chocolate milkshake and got an Oreo milkshake with chocolate syrup and WAY too much milk. My friend had the same problem with her strawberry milkshake. I got two separate cups to fit my milkshake, my friend only got one. We later saw the manager chugging the rest of my friends milkshake that she wasn’t even offered. This was the worst service EVER!

Touted as the first adult shave ice, we gave this place a try during their happy our for $6 adult shave ice. We ordered the mango marguerita and were happy with our choice. They did not skimp on the tequila. We would return again and maybe try strawberry next time.

Breakwall is pretty great. I had very high expectations for the adult shave iced. I sadly did not like them! The amount of alcohol was so intense you could not taste anything else. I didnt eat nearly half of mine. My husband also did not like his. The non alcoholic pina colada and tigers blood were very good. But also pretty average compared to normal shave ice. Overall a good experience. The staff is very nice. The location was in a cool shopping mall. Not very stroller friendly.

The large portions are fantastic, the buetifully crafted shave ice cups have too many options to choose from for ice flavours and the ice creams are alright. Maybe Im just used to blue bell but these tasted off. But overall the plethora of flavours allow and the great atmosphere from the wharf makes a great overall experience.

Açaí bowl was good. Had an adult shave ice which didn’t have enough flavoring, the ice had no flavor after the first few bites. Also could not taste any alcohol at all in the ice. Service was friendly. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Singer with live music. Several restaurants and a bar all located with the same seating area. Tons of shops around the store.

This place is HANDS DOWN the best Shave Ice place on the island, and we went to about every one we came across. Not only is the staff amazing, their menu is amazing as well (we had an incredible hot dog and shaved ice...twice). GET THE ICE CREAM ON THE BOTTOM. And they arent just ordinary hot dogs, they are served on crazy delicious french bread style buns (but super soft), and just the overall JAM. DO IT.

The best place to get shaved ice! The guys that started Breakwall are so nice, and are generous with putting condensed milk on the snow cones ice cap. I went around and tried 4 other places and nothing compared to this place. Not even close! The acai bowl was good too. They also have natural flavors for the health conscious, go!

I ordered an Acai bowl, it was made fresh to order. The original flavor was $9. The employees were very friendly and polite. It took a while for my order to be ready, but it was worth the wait. The Acai base was a litte bit watery for my taste, but the size was pretty large so I can’t complain! The shave ice looked good too but I didn’t try it.

Better than local boys, but also more expensive. Neither this place, nor Local Boys is as good as Ululanis. The adzuki beans tasted strange compared to Ululanis and Local Boys. Not sure if they were spoiled. The one huge plus for this place is no wait and it is directly across from the free parking lot. Compare this to Ululanis which is in the most packed area of Front Street where all parking that you can actually get is paid parking. You wont be too bad off eating here.

I went there at 9:20 and they said they were closed but online it said they closed at 10 and every in my party was very disappointed.
