I see that my post has been REMOVED since I posted so I’ll post again !! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE IF YOUR A PERSON OF COLOR. I went to the store to browse inventory as I’m moving and wanted to price some things . I told the grey head lady ( no glasses ) I didn’t catch her name that I don’t need any help I was just browsing . She proceeded to follow me around the WHOLE store I’d go to one area to look at inventory she’d switch desks so she could watch me I’d go somewhere else to look at furniture she’d switch desks again to “ keep an eye on me “ like I was going to run away with a couch or something . Then she ask me do you need help not once or twice but FOUR TIMES after I already told her more then once that I was just looking . She was also very rudeAnd can you say racial profiling don’t waste your time here at All.

Quick in & out after I figured out where it was (poor map & directions).Got my 2 Z pillows & bought a nice & $200.00 rug hanging by them.Longest part was waiting to roll up & tie rug. Manager was nice enough to carry out rug to my truck.

Every time I order furniture from here its always gets damaged they need to train delivery guys and insure they can even pick up the furniture cause its a joke the guys they use... Ive had to help them several times cause they cant lift the stuff...

Laughed hard at the older workers they have in the store in lakecity they fuss among oneanother ...great experience did app online went in the store after she fussed git what i needed and was out. My beds will be delivered on Tuesday next week ...fast

Very nice people. But honestly they make it seem like their prices are better than other furniture stores like Badcock Furniture but that is not the case.

They sell cheap junck ive hadnt had my dryer not even a year the dryer dont even get my clothes dry it takes three times to get a load dry my dinner table not had it a year one of the legs the loveseat broke with in a couple months I would not recommend nobody to buy anything from farmers home furniture they sell cheap junck.

We went into the Lake City store trying to look at bedroom furniture. I told the lady that worked there named Janice that we were just looking & I would let her know if I needed something......I told her this 3 or 4 times. She followed us around the store & kept asking for our name, which I told her I was not giving her my name because I was not purchasing anything today. I finally got so frustrated that I told Janice, you will not leave me alone & let us just browse around the store, so I am leaving. It was ridiculous how she was following us around the store. We could not even talk to each other because she was right next to me the entire time I was in the store. It was very uncomfortable & unnecessary.

My Farmers Furniture store in Lake City is so family oriented. I always feel like its my family when we go in. It doesnt matter if Im shopping for something new or just making a payment. I always feel welcome. Love love love Ms Margret. And Mark. They are awesome.

Margaret at the Lake City location was very nice and helpful with the whole buying process. However, the after buying process is horrible! Don’t give you a time frame that furniture will be delivered, furniture isn’t put together very well, electric parts lasted 1 night then didn’t work after that. The delivery guys scuff their feet across the floor and broke a floor transition piece. 3 weeks later still haven’t fixed the transition floor piece like they said they would and parts are still broken on the furniture.

This place is not for farmers. Nice furniture but with high-end prices. Not worth even pulling in and looking.

We were in the process of closing on our house and was staying in a hotel. We had no where to put the furniture until we closed. The manager told us the sale would be going on for the entire month. Two weeks later go in to purchase what we picked out and was told it was now 200+ more but we could scratch off a discount card and if it was the right discount wed get it for 200 less. My son asked what was going on, while explaining the older, red haired lady behind the counter sighed heavily and says oh my God!! I left, no sale period! Ill never go there again. Rudeness is keeping me away.

Very Poor Customer Service Bought Night Stands With Build In Cell Chargers ( Didn’t Work On Delivery) Brought Me Back Some Cheap Charging Kit From Wal-Matt, Handed To Me For Me To Fix, I’ve Spent 2500.00 In About A Month, Its The Last Time, Just Poor Service All The Way Around!

I have done business with Farmers Furniture now for 2 years and like the selection of products. However I too have had things happen when I was not always able to make my payments on time. At first they would harass me until i made it clear that i did not appreciate being harassed when I had already told them when I would be able to make my payment! So they did put me on the do not call list. So I went in today and made my payment early and I asked about my credit limit and was told that I am so over my credit limit and that I would not be able to purchase anything on credit at all right now. I said well thats funny cause I went over to Badcock and got a $5000 credit limit and had to buy my sons bed at Badcock because of the so called Farmers policy!! Well its not so much about their policy as is there manner.......they talk down to you in a condescending manner like you are not worth anything and I as a customer do not appreciate that at all!! After all my account is helping to pay these peoples salaries and retirement!! What is it about Lake City that sucks so bad? The horrible customer service that is provided to its customers!! The other funny thing is that I can go buy a brand new $30,000 car but I am not allowed to purchase anything more from Farmers!! At the beginning they were so nice to me and allowed me to open an account and Margaret told me that it would be better for me to make my payments for the length instead of paying it off early!! Since then I have talked down to and would not recommend anyone to shop there. I do like Mark and Nora and they have been very nice and respectful but now the others are talking down to me like I am not worth being their customer! I certainly wish that they all would treat their customers with respect and not be so degrading to their customers! After all wouldnt they like to be treated with respect also? What happened to putting yourself in your customers shoes? ??? Treating others as you would like to be treated? Does it make you feel good to treat customers poorly? What kind of person does this and continues to work with the public? When you have a customer based business you would think that you would want to have customers rather than to drive them away!! Extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism that is portrayed at this store........and yet its not all the employees, its just a couple of them that need to find another line of work!!
