We had no idea who to call for the replacement of our sons convertible top, so we called a dealership and they told us about CBI. I am so glad they did!!! The estimate felt pricey, but in the end the service and workmanship made it worth it for sure. This is a local company that has been around for over 20 years; you dont get to stay in business that long unless youre doing it right! And these folks have definitely made that clear.The vehicle we have is a little older, so the broken parts werent readily available. These guys welded the broken parts and made them work again, which I felt was above and beyond. The top was the same cost no matter where we would have gotten it, but it certainly helped that it was only 20 minutes from our home.We really appreciate these folks, we would definitely use them again!

Tom and the crew at CBI are a God send! The Sunroof on our 2013 Ford Edge recently got stuck in the open position. We tried everything to get it closed, including taking it to Auto Nation Ford in Jacksonville. Auto Nation was only willing to totally replace the unit for the tune of over $4000. The car is paid off and that was the farthest thing from our thought process, we simply wanted it closed and would of been fine with it never opening again. As you can imagine we began the search for a company willing to repair it versus replacing it. We have (2) shout outs, the first goes to Mark at Don Mar, who led us to Tom at CBI. The second shout out is to Tom and his team, not only were they willing to work on it they were willing to repair it versus having to totally replace it. Tom and his team saved us over $3500. Plus Tom and his team provided a wonderful customer service experience. While Lake City is a little off the beaten path, well worth the drive and time! Highly recommend CBI Unlimited. They picked my car up & Christopher the driver was courteous & explained how to operate controls when he delivered my car!Tom was very also patient during initial call & explaining process since I live 3 hours away. CBI was so kind and genuinely helpful for the work on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I fell in love with it all over again after a new 4 inch lift ! The difference in the drive is amazinnnnng (shocks, new tires, steering stabilizer....) I will be back for more work soon !

These folks are the greatest. Im partly disabled and our new SUV did not have the necessary handholds I needed to help me get into it. Because of the SUVs electronics in the front right pillar they could not install a standard grip so they fashioned one from scratch and it works fantastically! Also getting out safely was hampered by the running board we had installed. We discussed the issue and they did some modifications that work and the results look like the running board came that way (professional). An additional request to recover the seat of my mobility scooter with fabric was absolutely perfect. (Vinyl gets hot in the Florida sun!) If you need some custom work done they are the place to go to find answers and solutions that will work for you and look good too! They will also tell you if your idea(s) wont work or be too expensive - honest!

They did a great job with my bed liner and rollnlock bed cover.

CBI in Lake City is not doing good job. I called about a Leveling kit for my 2019 RAM, they said no problem. So they ordered the kit (supposedly) A week later I called and they said the kit had not come in but they would call me with an update. I never received the call. I called back another week later and they said the parts were there. I still hadnt got a call from them. Then the Icing on the cake, I asked who does the alignment after the install. They said who ever you want as they dont do it. I can tell you from experience any shop that does any kind of lift does it in house or out sources it. But it is always included in the price. Bottom line, they need a management adjustment and customer service class. And if you think they are the only ones who can do you custom interior try Florida Boys in High Springs. They do much more custom options and better pricing. One last thing, I ordered the leveling kit myself and its coming to my house in only one day, free shipping. No excuse for them.

I was having issues with my sunroof in my 4Runner, and after talking with 7(!) different people/companies in the area who werent able to help me, I was put in touch with Tom at CBI. What a blessing! They could do what none of the others could do. Installed rear coil suspension air bags, brake controller and adjusted trailer hitch to correct height for my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. Zack completed all work in only about two hours (estimate was 3) everything was exactly to specifications, and to my satisfaction.Although they are busy and perform work for nearly every auto dealer in the area, they were able to work me in.I recommend these guys!

Today was my third trip to CBI Unlimited to have after-market items installed on my Ford F250. Up until a month ago I didnt even know they existed but I had my windows tinted (also local) so I asked who was best for the rest of my items and without hesitation I was directed to CBI. I went there, same day. Now Im on my third trip and only have one more since my truck is basically new. I have read the negative posts about CBI and Im gonna tell you I havent seen any of that. I will gladly answer any questions (if politely asked). My wife has a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited w/ -20k miles that she has been saving as a retirement hobby. It goes to CBI Unlimited next.
