This is a great place to buy meat. The prices are pretty good especially when compared to Winn Dixie. The quality isnt shabby either. I have gotten some produce from here as well, and its been good and fresh. Sometimes the store seems a little dirty than it should be. But I wonder if its just because it needs a remodel and some fresh paint.

Prices good ....especially milk and meat. Good variety of off brand products. Some flying insects around produce..store needs a good cleaning . Nice to see employees wearing masks..

For a bargain grocery store they really have it together. No long lines, friendly cashiers. Keep up the good work and Ill keep coming. Aldi can learn something. $275 gonna last me 3-4 months, w/steak and seafood.

Our local Save A Lot closed so we traveled to Lake City but I have to say the only thing better at the store in our area was the meat department. Everything else at this store was very good.

I am VERY CHEAP and ALWAYS looking for a good DEAL! But, in almost EVERY name BRAND product, is CHEAPER if you shop at WALMART. NOT by MUCH! Save a lot has a bunch of UNKNOWN food and drink DISTRIBUTERS that are made from CHEAPER ingredients that TASTE very DIFFERENT and in a BAD way! You DONT have many OPTIONS of different PRODUCTS there, just basically the STORE brand. Than after you get HOME and COMPARE past RECEIPTS from SAVE A LOT, and from WALMART, you see that MOST items (that TASTED and looked APPEALING) were CHEAPER by about .20 CENTS or so at WALMART. The PARKING LOT is often LITTERED with LITTLE bit of trash, SOMETIMES. They do NOT provide you with BAGS, instead, you can use BOXES or PURCHASE a grocery BAG for ( I THINK 🤔)only a QUARTER. It is a great OPTION for US who live FAR from SUPERMARKETS and, LACK having a VEHICLE but, I put in EFFORT and get UPTOWN to my FAVORITE GROCERY stores.

They are so nice at this store, they help me with items I cant find or reach.. today I was sick and sent Daniel to the store in search of some lawrys Marinade sauce, he couldnt find it, so I called the store for help for him, right away they sent a lady to Daniel and she found it it, I know her voice but not her name. Thanks so so much

Sunday is the best time to go for the deals I think because every Sunday I went I could find the 8 chicken wings for line 4$ a pack meats are pretty cheap, but I just dont like they dont have bags because for like the older people and the ones in a wheel chair its hard for them to bag there own groceries and I think they should look into some over there helping box up the food, just a thought

This place was very helpful and friendly the meats are fresh everything is labeled as for what isle has what on and o got to the front and the cashier raised their hand and said sir iam open and there was no waiting in line. It was wonderful

Great prices and alott of familiar faces if you like to buy in bulk but still afford your childs college fund shop here same great quality as big brand stores but at a much cheaper price.

This is such a great grocery store. Fresh meat every week and a variety of wonderful items you dont find at larger stores. Today we bought homemade Pecan Apple Butter! Sweet!

You can go in quickly to find something you need. Sometimes there is quite a check out line and takes longer. I find having to bring your own boxes or bags inconvient. I would pay extra to have these provided. This store does not look clean or well organized.

They have many Items I have never heard of but they are Cheap and You must bring your Own Bags to put the Items in that you Buy...

The cashiers are always friendly but the store itself needs help. It always has a smell thats just not quite right. The produce section always looks sad and ALWAYS has flies buzzing around.

As always Save-A-Lot was clean and shelves were fully stocked again after the storm. The staff as usual was courteous and polite. I always enjoy shopping at Save-A-Lot I always enjoy shopping at Save A Lot for all my grocery needs

Rude people working. If they dont know you they stare you down walking by. Unfriendly cashiers. Typical lake city vibe. Store is dirty, next to a bad area. Food is expired looking. No thanks. Ive seen much better save a lots. A lot of liberals go in there stuck up like they own the place too.

Been shopping here for years. MGMT is super! This visit was surprising, as it was not as clean as it has been. I would like to see more youth at the registers who live in that particular community. Savalot has always been a generous supporter in LC. Love the Boris family...

I love coming here, they are always nice and have good meat sales. But today they were out of 1% milk which for me is a wic item and that sucked plus they were all out of the 89cent bread I was hoping to get but did still have the hot dog buns that are the same price.
