First time here.Didnt quite know the check in or out process.Order our foodFood was decent for Orange county. However there was a misunderstanding. I thought one of my family members paid. We went outside to eat.And one of the staff comes up to us very rude! That we didnt pay and they have us on video surveillance.Like really if that was the case we would had left.No problem I got up and paid. The entire staff were staring π³.Made me feel very uncomfortable.I apologized for a simple mistake. They kept on staring at us till we got in our car. At point we were so uncomfortable we didnt finish our food and tossed it.DiscriminationRacial profilingFor this I will NEVER RETURNLearn customer service skillsAnd how to approach a customer π€
A lot of variety, needs more ventilation and cleaning, good service.
Staff is very helpful. Food is excellent. Tried their tamales recently and it did not disappoint! Would definitely recommend this market.
Excellent place to find a champurrado..with a mole tamale..100% delicious
Well tulas market is on its own level.yes sir the food is to kill for.made fresh daily .beans and rice are always home made and made with love.everything there is made with real love and so so fresh.tulas is that one special place that keeps you locked in and keeps you eating good
Delicious authentic take out Mexican food
The best local supermarket in OC. Their meat is top notch quality. A paradise for a former restaurant chef like myself. Then its their in-house made tortillas which are A+ and you can get them warm and fresh. Excellent customer service. Finally, and thats how I discovered this place, the food they serve is super delicious!
Excellent, fresh groceries. Love the fresh tortillas and fresh masa. You can get all the authentic cheese here as well.
Always buy my meat here. FRESH meat for grilling or just everyday needs. the carnitas are delicious..
Great customer service and tamales are soooo goooood !!
Tula Market is a great place to get great Mexican, non fast-food. The chips are fresh and hot, way better than El Pollo chips. Pricing is good and they are usually busy with good reason. Good selection of meats also and some produce.
You can get food Togo or buy all the stuff for do it in home.
I stop by here sometime pickup dinner for my BF and I.. You cant go wrong here, their food are very fresh, well seasonings and while you here you can do a quick grocery shopping too, they have just about everything π
Came here to get some lunch with my girlfriend and we both wanted quesadillas with beans in it and the manger said thatβs not a problem...we get back to our place and thereβs no beans in it! This is not the first time they done this too!! Either the management canβt promise things or teach the workers thatβs itβs not their food and make what we asked for. Also the workers have a bad attitude sometimes and gives a look when we ask for a simple easy task. Supper disappointed and hope they can change their attitudeπ‘
It helps to speak Spanish, but not required. A very nice lady could tell I didnt know what I was doing and pointed out where to pull a number for their prepared food section. When my number came up, the man behind the counter got my 4 tamales and prepared a yummy 1 lb. carne asada burrito. He then directed me to the cashier. My favorite tamales: beef and cheese with jalapeno.
Food is very good.
Among many other things you could say about Tula Market, this is THE place to go for fresh made Tortillas and tortilla chips. they are absolutely wonderful. But they also have a great butcher section, a very nice produce section, and of course a great Mexican deli section.
Small mexican market with freshly made tortillas, good hot, prepared foods
Came here to get some tacos thought they were like $3 bucks turns out it was 4.50 per taco kinda a scam but thats not the major problem. I asked for carnitas and lengua . The gave me carne asada and I am most disappointed. If you want to buy tacos here its $17.54 for only 4 tacos. This place is full with covid no one is 6 feet apart and one of my friends worked here and she told me someone got covid from here. This place is a 0/5.
Love the food
My mini market for marinated carne, short ribs & chicken! Prices are a lil high but your family & friends will love your food no matter what! Im not from here but since I moved here this is closest to HOME! Highly recommend this to anyone around this area...
We go here for lunch at least once a week. Excellent excellent fresh food along with their prices. Menudo or pozole is out of this world. All in a nut shell, its a hidden gem.
Real Mexican food..Authentic..YUMMY!.
The absolute best house made tortillas, excellent rice pudding ice cream, and wonderful people!
Great butcher/meat section! Great Service!
My wife came here on Saturday 7-11-20 and some one of your employees fron the carniceria called my wife Blaine or ciega, are you kidding me? We tried to bring our business to your place and this is what we received back. My wife was carrying my little baby of 6 months old so I feel so upset with this person, I hope you the owner can do something about this issue, if not Ill have to go to confront it myself. No one can treat my family like that.
Pricey but very good. Wish their red sauce was a little spicier
Great produce prices. Best guacamole in town. Very nice staff.
If I could give them 10 stars I would! Best carnitas and lengua in the area! Fresh homemade tortillas and the portions are gigantic. Do yourself a favor and run over there. Amazing!
Horrible experience I order tamales which they never put in my bag and I called them and the lady the the cashier said I was lying to stop calling. They still charge me for the tamales and yet they dont give it to me. This isnt the first time that this happens. The manager or the damn owner need to train there workers how to handle customer complains they are not in Mexico where they can be rude to people and pretend like nothing would happen to them . Teach them how to treat people the right way not the Mexican rude way so upsetting. Pay for tamales and yet get dont get them. This is called theft.
Great mercado for meats, produce, pantry items, spices, and also prepared food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Chile peanuts are bomb!
This place has good food always busy
One of my go-to spots to eat. excellent location, well kept, and excellent customer service. I highly recommend them!
Great marquet with taqueria inside. Weekend they have menudo and is a must. Their tacos have good meat portions and everyone is really friendly. Oh and they make their own tortillas. Im a regular.
Quick service and a nice selection of products!
Quality gourmet food at food truck prices! Their Chiles rellenos, guacamole, Mole, tacos, salsas, tamales, cheeses, freshly made tortillas, etc. Fab butchers shop too, fruits n vegetables. Delicious.
They have delicious authentic food to eat there or to go. Their tamales are Delicious. But the tortas are a must! They also have a small supermarket and a great produce selection
Love the tacos... but service is soooooo slow... you would think they would have more people helping with orders
Tula market WAS very good but know the prices are sky high and the what you are getting for that price is not the best
This place is legit. Small but very authentic Mexican food without having to drive to Santa Ana. Ive purchased from the butcher and from the quick serve area and its been fantastic. It does get pretty crowded but thats to be expected during peak times.
Unfortunately I had a really poor customer service experience today?I entertain my large family quite often and purchase quite a lot of food from The Tula market. But today I was treated differently. I stood in line we do numbers I even offered my number to a woman who was in front of me I was one of the last people in line there were five people working behind the window and when the last Hispanic woman was helped in front of me they decided to all start cleaning up and no one asked me if I needed help its not the first time its happened to someone in my family who they think is white, its sad that racism comes in many forms. After standing there for several minutes I gave up crumpled up my number in a ball and walked over to my husband in the produce department whos half Hispanic and said you might have better luck at the window then I did. From now on Ill be purchasing my food at Valentinas market in Raymond way. Im always treated really nice there doesnt matter what race I am. This is sad.My has been informed me that the owner are mixed family just like mine I wonder if they know that this is going on? Im sure they wouldnt be OK with it.Im posting this in the hope that people were treated show there in a godly manner love your neighbor like yourself. I always order large containers of freshly made tortilla chips I will miss that. Being in the retail business for many years I always treated everyone fairly, I would expect that I should be treated the same. I may give them another chance just because we all like the freshly made chips so much, but if it happens again I wont be back. Theres no room for this type of treatment in any business.
Yummy tortas de milanesa, carnitas tacos, potato tacos!! I come here to buy masa and queso fresco too. Try the cacahuates espaΓ±oles you can find at the register, they are awesome!
I love there food
Great little local market. Fresh veggies make the trip worthwhile Everytime. Enjoy
Best tortilla round unless you make them fresh yourself
Always fresh tortillas. Thats all I buy there.
So they Are rude and racist I look super white so they ignored me and did want to serve me! we had pulled a number and when it was My turned to order the girl didnt want to serve me because we didnt have to separate numbers even though we are in the same order my friend had to step in and talk to her in Spanish and tell her shes with me and she still didnt want to take my order after I waited in line for over 45 minutes. This has happened multiple times to meGreat food sad excuse for customer service
Great market. Amazing ceviche on the weekend - seriously the best Ive ever tasted. Great house-made tortillas. A good selection of veggies and a huge carnicerΓa. Fabulous place to shop!
Very good market.Prices are very fair.Marinated meat is done well and the tortillas are fresh.Staff is always helpful.
This place has some really good authentic Mexican food. Ther service is pretty fast and friendly so I would recommend it to others to definitely try.
I alway sad food is great and services ok
Awesome Mexican food. Best carnitas tacos around.
Wow, good Mexican food. Havent had much luck in the OC. Got carnitas and barbacoa with fixings and still warm tortillas to go. Delicious.
Went for chips and guacamole
Mexican market. Has a great food area. Outside seating. Burritos here are absolutly the best. 100% value for money. Deligent and fast food prepping staff. They also have quality fresh produce, mexican cheese, and a wide variety of meat.Perfect for take out.
LOVE the tortillas!! But the prices on their meats, are just ridiculous sometimes!
Great Mexican Market. They make their own tortillas. Super butcher shop. Also sell prepared food you can take home and make a meal. Carnitas carne asada, and chicken by the pound with rice and beans for your side dishes. Pick up some homemade tortillas and your are set for a quick and easy meal. Good prices.
Excellent Food.
Good food. Very friendly
Good service good food !
The crew at Tula Markets are very professional and helpful at all the times. I highly recommend this grocery store.
After being recommended here for tamales, this will be my tamale and champurado stop on weekends. My favorite was green tamale and the menudo is so delicious. Tacos de carnitas look amazing was not able to eat more. When you come here bring an extra stomach, everything is delicious.
The employees fell like last beer on the stadium. Cant talk to you without bad attitude, I dont know who attack them,They all on a defensive, may be they been trained that way, all the rest os good
Nice neighborhood Mexican grocery. The to-go food section is pretty good. The tacos are overstuffed with a variety of meats. I think a bit too much meat though. The tortillas are made in house and are fresh and soft. They use real corn and grind it right there. No fake powder maseca (look it up), this is real masa. The chips are awesome. Salsas are pretty good, but not the best. Menudo and pozole are pretty good. I think the tinga de pollo is the best taco, but only on the weekend. Interestingly enough is that this grocery store has better tacos than most all of the dedicated taco shops in the area. They have added more tables outside to eat.
Delicious food, find everything here!
Friendly people good place to find shared rooms, single temporary rooms
One of few places with real Mexican food in south OC and fresh made tortillas
Love the fresh tortillas daily.
Exelent cooked food!
Tortas so good....
Great experience at Tulsa. They have some of the best cooked meat for your tacos and burritos(carnitas, carne asada, buche, El pastor, etc). Every one is friendly.
Awesome hot food 4 to go or catering 4 parties...small produce market...meat dept is awesome cuz of great cuts
Clean. Great selection. Helpful service.
Their best meats are Barbacoa, Carnitas & Lengua, their tacos, burritos & tortas are amazing with any of those stuffed in them, best tasting mexican food in lake forest and not overpriced
Their aguas frescas are the best in the area. I also like their mole verde.
Very helpful and quick!
Quality at the perfect price. Limited selection but thats okay.
Very bad customer service they have a really bad attitude in the food section I wanted to talk to the manager the other about this no bueno amigos
