I know the staff is overworked. I had a feeling when I waited about 30 minutes on the phone to what prescription were ready to pick up since I live about 30 minutes away. I was told there was one caller in front of me. It played music and would ring for a little while and then put me back on hold with the music playing. After about 30 minutes of waiting they hung up on me. This happens about 50% of the times I call. Try CVS in Target, they are better staffed and dont hang up on you
I work close by so I’m also dropping in. The staff there is so kind and always ask how I’m doing. Recently I went in to look for a product and asked an associate that was busy stocking shelves. Jasmin went out of her way to help me find exactly what I was looking for.
Phone system is terrible. I get disconnected from hold every time I call. Inside service is good. Drive thru is too slow to bother with. Done with them. Better experience at virtually every other pharmacy in the area.
I have a prescription Im trying to fill. I looked at my online account to see status, and it said they did not have and was ordering. I called 3 times, which no one in pharmacy would answer. I then drove there to ask why they wouldnt answer their phone. The young man said he didnt know... I then said when can I expect my prescription... tHe answered with tomorrow . That was on Monday and its now Thursday, and no word. I contacted my drs office, they have been calling them, again to get no answer. This is awful service, and I cannot believe I cant get an answer to when my order will be filled.
I think Walgreens is wonderful. They are so courteous and helpful. Theyve always been my preferred pharmacy. I choose WALGREENS for good, friendly, and efficient service.
I would give it 0....lines are long, inside or outside for perscriptions. U would be better off driving to angleton walgreens

I dont know how much the one review was paid that they have excellent customer service, that is false. I have noticed over the last year customer service at all Walgreens has dramatically decreased.
I don’t know what kinda circus this place is running. They are grossly understaffed and under supplied. I’ve ordered meds more then a week in advance. They know I need it or the system does but it’s never there. I’m having to beg a plead with them and it’s hardly ever there. They know I will need it say they are full of what I need and next day it’s gone. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but at this point I can’t.
I was in the pharmacy line I was going for the application of the covid 19 vaccine and the rude person said that it is only being applied by appointment😡😡😡😡😡
I picked up my prescription which I have every month now for a year that has to be Brand Only. They gave me a generic and because I didnt check it before I left do not want to replace the medication.This is not the first time I have had a problem with Walgreens Pharmacy, in fact that is the reason I take a pic of all prescriptions before turning them in and usually always check it before i leave the counter.I am allergic to what they have given me, there mistake and now they dont want to replace it? I asked the person on the phone to get the right medication ready 4 times before she finally understood that I needed to have the correct one regardless and it would have to be filled for that to happen.Seriously? And we are supposed to let these people administer vaccinations against Covid?
Customer service as far as the pharmacy goes is ridiculous.
The pharmacy has lost my prescription 3 times as well as given me the wrong prescription several times. They lie and say the doctor never called it in however the doctor is a friend and I have been with him while he called it in.
Walgreens in Lake Jackson, TX (Oyster Creek Dr.) has some of the most amazing customer service associates working there, both in the actual store and in the pharmacy. They are so friendly, professional and genuinely ❤CARE❤ about their customers and the community as a whole! I switched temporarily to another Walgreens in a near by town about 3mths ago and within a couple of weeks I knew IMMEDIATELY that I not only was switching BACK to the Walgreens in LJ on Oyster Creek Dr but I was never leaving them EVER AGAIN! ---🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟--- 10 Stars....Thank you for always taking care of me and going the extra mile!!!Your loyal customer for life,Dion
Rude staff. Wouldn’t let me purchase my own photos of ME in them because I didn’t have a copyright form. I had one on my photo from the photographer and they were going to make me leave and come back with a printed form to purchase them. Absolutely stupid when I could very quickly take my business elsewhere. Terrible customer service. Didn’t try to help me find a solution to this to be able to purchase my photos today. Never coming back.
This store has awesome products! I love to purchase their Walgreens brands, they are affordable and they work as good as the name brands! Special thanks to the beauty consultant Jewel Amber never lies to you about what fits you! Always keeps it real 100! So far everytime i go there she gives me great advice on everything! Takes the time to explain all the small details! Everytime i go up there no matter what shes doing she helps me, got a beauty question? Jewel is the best beauty consultant in the entire area.All employees always have a smile on their faces! At one point i actually got to talk to their general manager like if i was one of her friends! Very polite.All the crew so far has been very professionalI have 0 complaints about this store.5 🌟
Pharmacist on duty giving shots instead of verifying prescriptions. Ive been waiting for an hour for a prescription to just be verified but cant get the pharmacist! Even the techs are getting frustrated with him. Techs are extremely nice but total mismanagement of time and resources by the pharmacist.
They are nice inside and try to find the best deal for me or guide me in the right direction. Literally just got off of the phone with a lady and she was pretty rude. I was just asking simple questions (nothing crazy but seeing if THEY could help) and she just quickly answered my questions but very unprofessional about it. Like she hated life haha. And hung up without saying have a nice day.... ? Hopefully her day gets better. Didnt get her name either.
I came this morning to speak with a pharmacist about my symptoms to see what could be recommended to me to make me feel better. I had done this before and never had a problem. The pharmacist came off very rude and unfriendly, made me feel like I was bothering her, when all I did was ask her if I could describe to her my symptoms. I never write reviews I just feel like maybe someone that works there can see this and tell them to be nicer. I had high hopes of coming here to get answers and help. Left the store with neither of them. Besides that the guy at the front desk was very personable and even asked me how I was feeling.
Horrible.... one person working up front. Trying to find an item and can’t get any help. Found someone walking around store, who was talking to a friend about a vacation. They clearly saw me waiting for them and when they were finished, they just walked off. I left a whole basket full of merchandise for them to put up and walked out. Waste of time, never will go back!!!
This place is horrible.. Never has what the Dr calls in for my son.. The Dr called in his medicine today, and when I called at almost 8 tonight, they said they dont have it and wont have it until Wednesday.. School starts Wednesday, so we needed it before then.. This is my last time dealing with them.. Every month its something different!! 😈😈😈😈😈
This pharmacy never answers the phone. EVER. Also, one of the pharmacy techs placed my drivers license inside my stapled shut pharmacy bag (through the drive-thru) along with my medication. She assumed that would be helpful. It was NOT. By the time I got home after a very long work day, I had already forgotten about it, after getting my rx out of the bag I threw it away. Trash day was the following morning. Now I have the excruciating joy of sitting at the souless and depressing DPS office all. Damn. Day. To get a new I.D. Thanks.
I sat in the drive through line for 30 minutes and still did not get seen. I finally pulled off. If you see that its going to take a long time with a customer then have them pull up or go in the store.

EXEMPLARY EXPERIENCE!!! HIGHEST PRAISE!!! Was visiting my pushing 90 dear mother and fell ill... resulting in asking HER to pick up a prescription phoned in here by my out-of-town doc. GREAT WORRY & TREPIDATION re how this would go, how much hassle/ problem poor treatment she would encounter, etc. DELIGHTED when my telephone call (after minimal initial communication prob/ confusion) put me through to an INCREDIBLY HELPFUL, CAPABLE, CARING, GRACIOUS pharmacist with wonderful & efficient communication skills. Prescription pick-up by my senior citizen mother (who generally HATES & DREADS this kind of duty, but in this case called the experience downright PLEASANT) was a breeze, with my sweet mama treated with all the care and respect due her and that any of us would want for our moms. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Only wish I could say all of my experiences with pharmacies, stores, service providers, etc. went anywhere near this well - BUT SO VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE COURTESY, PROFESSIONALISM & EXCEPTIONAL COMPETENCE we experienced at this GREAT WALGREENs PHARMACY! HOORAY!!
The people in the pharmacy were extremely rude. I gave 1 star but only because I had to. I went through the drive thru pharmacy and the person helping wouldnt even open the window to speak to the customers personally and she used the telephone and wasnt even making eye contact it was like she was but ignoring us all together. She said their systems were down and that Id have come in 2 hours. I had already had my prescription called 3 hours earlier. I drove away because she hung up and was done talking to me...She needed to get back to eating that salad she had next the register. (TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!) I called back a few minutes later and asked if my prescription could be transferred to the Walgreens in Clute, which is about 5 miles from the LJ Walgreens. The same rude clerk said that all systems in the surrounding area were having problems with filling prescriptions because of satellite issues and it would do me any good to get my order transferred. So, I called the Clute Walgreens myself and they confirmed they too were having system problems but were more than happy to work on my prescription order. I asked how long the wait would be and the Pharmacist said about 10 minutes... He was able to pull my prescription and insurance information with no problem. I will NEVER use the LJ Walgreens ver again. Clute Walgreens will be my and my families number one chose for filling my prescriptions going forward!!!!
I have been to this store 4 times and each time the people in the pharmacy have been rude and disrepectful. I only visited the pharmacy section of the store and i am not impressed at all. Today April 16th 2015 i went this location to get a prescription filled and they told me i needed to take it take it to the West Columbia store where i had been filling my prescriptions prior due to the fact that it was a narcotic. They said it did not look right that i bounce around with it cause it is a narcotic..Well on the days when i need it filled i am usually in lake jackson cause i have to use my mother in laws truck and it was just convienent at the time. But you can rest assured i will never go to that location again. I thought these stores were affliated with each other but i guess not..Sure would hate to be from out of town cause i would have been royally screwed.
Issues with their pharmacy department. They are not stocked. Needed medication always had to wait for long time or requested for re stock .which ridiculous.Get pharmacist who want to do their job. Not friendly either
I feel sorry for the people working here. They are obviously overworked and underpaid, as they are ALWAYS understaffed. Prescriptions are never ready on time and the wait is unreal. I blame the corporation for their greed in understaffing.
