Cellular Sales is the best. Compared to working with a straight up Verizon store there is no comparison. Knowledgeable staff, helpful without being pushy. Love their business model.

I just left this location and had the best experience since becoming a Verizon customer. Nash was my customer service member today and she ROCKS. Knowledgeable and took her time changing out my phone to my husbands. Like I said this was the best experience. She is a keeper so treat her well.

When receiving or making a phone call, there was no audio on either end of the call. The volume was up to the highest level in the setting app and on the pull down menu. The tech person was able to quickly find the problem, reset the audio, and also offered more help. But this was a new phone so I declined the upgrade. Very nice, friendly staff.

I went in to the store to purchase two new phones yesterday and It was a great experience. Jay was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was quick to get my phones activated. I was in and out of the store less than an hour. She wore a mask and put on gloves to touch my nephew phones. During this scary time with COVID-19 the whole store was practicing social distancing. It is a scary time to be out in the community but I felt very safe in this store. When I need another phone I will make sure that I pay Jay a visit. If you are looking for a new phone with Verizon I would highly recommend Cellular Sales of Lake Wales. Make sure you ask for Jay. You won’t be sorry.

My phone recently died during a weekly boot up which forced me into purchasing a new one. Given the current situation around the Covid 19 virus, I knew that I would have to set up an appointment at a local store, and not knowing what their inventory was, I opted to buy my new phone from Verizons website. It was delivered the following day leaving me the task of setting it up. I called the Verizon authorized retailer store on SR 60 in lake Wales and was told I didnt need an appointment and the cost to have them set it up would be $35. Given the issue that I had with my old phone not willing to boot up, I felt the $35 was reasonable to have experienced customer service reps do the setup for me. They did an excellent job and I would be more than happy to refer any other Verizon user to them.

My husband and I always get great service. We have been with Verizon for a long time and I can definitely say it is due to Chad Weaver. He is very knowledgeable and patience. He doesnt mind answering your questions. His customer service is excellent. He really cares about his customers and makes sure you leave satisfied with your phone and plan. The lady that helped me was nice, but not very knowledgeable. Id just gotten a replacement tablet for one that I dropped in water. I wanted a case that would fit as my new tablet was different. She grabbed a case and a glass. I was asking about features of the case. I wanted one that I could stand in either landscape or portrait configuration. This seemed to confuse her, once we decided the one she had picked out would work. I noticed that the camera wasnt in the right place, she continued to try to fit the tablet into the case, she finally admitted that it was wouldnt fit, because it was an older style. So I was going to upgrade. She started the upgrade, at this point I picked up the new tablet, the camera was in the same place. That wont work either, now I dont want the upgrade, so she tries to force it into the case only to realize thats the wrong case they didnt have any other cases for me. Fine Ill just take the glass then, is that going to work? She assured me it would but no that wasnt to be either. So now Ive wasted my time Im late for work my tablet appears to be disabled and I dont even have a scratch protector on my tablet any more since she removed it to put the glass on that didnt fit.Ive been to this store twice and left dissatisfied both times. Too bad because I pass it by every day and will never go in there again.

I have a family plan of 5 people that I recently transferred from another cell provider that I had been with for 16 years. Wow what a difference in customer service and support. The Lake Wales manager Chad Weaver is as good as I could have hoped for in handling this transaction. He has excellent people skills, very professional and makes you feel part of the family rather than just another cell number added to a list. This transaction was handled without a flaw. The Verizon service is far superior to that of my previous provider, I only regret I didnt leave sooner. Through this transaction I have dealt with a few of the other staff and they are also very courteous and professional. If youre on the fence dont be. Make the move to this Verizon Lake Wales office. You wont regret it.

This place is like a gypsy scheme or used car salesman. They are quick to sell an item and full of lies. The salesman is then never there when you call. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint as the people here were unable to fix the problem they made when I upgraded 2 phones. I would not recommend this store or verizon there customer service has went way down over the years.

Kaley sold me my phone a few months ago and it was a phenomenal experience, but what makes it even better is we went in today because my daughters phone went out on it and Corey took the time to help us go through warranty to get the phone replaced. Where do I even begin to sing the phrases of Jayla, the wonderful young lady who so kindly served me on Friday 9/27/19?! I had actually purchased my phone elsewhere, but I was in Lake Wales on vacation when I had a small concern. Jayla treated me like the best customer in the world! But there is more to tell! I decided to take a chance and ask if she knew how to set up a you tube channel so I could share videos of my beloved cat, Willie. I believe you need a desk top computer to do so, of which I dont have. Without a moment of hesitation, she had created a beautiful you tube channel just for me (,and Willie of course)! We came to LW Verizon store to cancel all our services on both phones and other items when we met Mike Peace, a rep there. He took time with us telling us everything an explained what happen and is happening. We ended up buying 2 new phones and equipment for it. The forest thing from our minds. Mike not only showed us what can be done and how he will take care of our account. I felt was over and above what his discription as a Rep is. He took time, and was very pleasant with us. He understands our needs. Never loose him. He is an asset to your company. Thank him because if it wasnt for him, we would never. Go back to Verizon.

It took us 2 hours to trade in a phone and add another line. One account. Updated agreement. Two new phones. There were 3 people working there. No one really knew what they were doing. We were gone less than 30 minutes when we got a call saying they needed us to come back. That took another hour.The problem never got fixed. I had to call Verizon to get the account straightened out.Everyone was professional.

Bad Customer Service!!!!! I was in there for over 10 minutes and not once any of the 3 that were there working greeted me or at least say we will be with you shortly. At least acknowledge that you see the people coming in. But they did it to the other 3 people that walked in after me too. 0 stars in my opinion.

Was told that we were paying up front was all the activation fees and taxes. Corporate says they are not a factory store. Couldnt get the billing information until after the 14 day return as required by law. Have been trying to get my military discount for 6 years and still no luck. Mike transferred all my old deleted apps and deleted all my current files and apps

He spent LOADS of time helping us understand our new phones and the advantages they had to offer us on a daily basis. A guy named David answered the phone, at the Lake Wales location.and I asked what I need to do to get a new screen. He said he couldnt help over the phone, because I would have to give him personal information. I didnt believe him, and I called back to ask for a manager. He told me the manager was busy, and that it would be 20 mins. I said I would hold. I held for 20 mins and he gets back on to tell me they were too busy to help me. I asked for the manager again, and he said he was the manager. I said so you lied to me. He said he did not. I ended up just ending the call. He was very rude.

Employee at this location made changes to my account without my permission. He took an upgrade that was for my phone and applied it to another person who is on my account and gave him a new phone even though this person is not an account manager and without me being there. What about this is right? Needless to say, I called several times to see what Id have to do to have this switched back and every time I called I received a different answer. This incident has been reported to Verizon and they have flagged this on my account as an unauthorized change but what will that do for me if the damage is done?

My phone was stolen and Cory was so gracious to help me get into a new phone I recommend Cory and the Store to anybody in need.

This location needs to work on customer engagement and teamwork within their staff. Ive been to this Verizon at least 3 times and had seen back to back times of myself feeling trapped right when I walk in. An online BOGO deal brought me into the store for my recent trip. I went from the door to the dealers desk and honestly I just wanted to walk around to look at a phone Ive been eyeing out online to see if its a product I wanted to commit to. I didnt want to sit (yet) but I was told to do so. Once that happened I was uncomfortable but endured because the dealer seemed nervous. This dealer was shy and awkward, possibly new compared to the other two associates working. I could tell he was trying his best but as a manager in retail myself, I can tell he lost me as a customer based on the mood and direction of our conversation. He wasnt prepared nor confident in himself or the words he was telling us. Product knowledge is important in reatil, on top of teamwork. Besides me and my significant other there was an elderly couple in the store; so there was nothing stopping one of the two associates to step in to help clarify how the BOGO deal could be redeemed properly. An every man for himself work environment was the vibe I got. I ended up leaving without a new phone more so because of the lack of product & promotion clarity. I felt sorry for the dealer that had no support from his own associates. Worse if one of them was his manager because he didnt provide better guidance and training. Your associates are reflections of who you are, and how you prepare them for the sales floor youll see in results (operationally & personally). Ill probably stick to bringing my business to the Verizon store 40min away in Winter Haven near US 17 going forward.
